Email with images

Hi,
Our requirement is to send images as part of email and also the email content is HTML. When we send the email the system in SCOT shows the mail has been sent successfully. But the at customer site the exchange server is blocking .bmp files and so emails are not delivered. I would like to send it as a TIF file how do I do that. The code is same as in the example code as SF_XSF_DEMO_MAIL.
Can Someone suggest anything. Thanks.

Dear Naveen,
It is very easy to convert a BMP file to a TIF Fomat.
1. Open the BMP file in MSPAINT and choose SAVE AS...
     in the dialogue give your file name and the next
     text field choose the format type as TIF.
2. You can do this from Microsof Imaging, and Adobe
     Image ready...
and i had a query,
Does this functionality send mail to external ID's(like yahoo) also.
If so send me the Functionality and the prerequisits for this....

The image is stored in the mime repository and was uploaded through se78.

Hi go to T-code : SMW0 -- To upload the images , after that you can find that entries in wwwparams table .
Refer this .

Want to send a email with images and text in the body of email in iOS

In iOS, we have written a code to send an email, with embedded images and text in the body of the email ( not attachment) using mail composer. It works well with iOS devices like iPhone and iPad, but does not work in window based OS. Can anybody help. The code is

Email with image attached refuses to send

Hello
I am having a problem with my email. Whenever I try to send a email with a picture attached it refuses to send. Regular email still works as does emails with files(.exl,.pdf,.doc,) attached. I also doesn't appear to be email provider specific since I have multiple email types and It affects all of them. I have tried removing my emails and reentering the information which doesn't appear to help, also I am able to transfer the file from the outbox to my inbox and send it from my a different device (in this case my iPhone).
If anyone has a suggestion I would appreciate it.
Also i have the iPad 1 with IOS 4.3.3 installed

closing the Mail app completely ? From the home screen (i.e. not with Mail 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Remote content bar does not appear for some emails with images specifically daily Twitter updates. Changing options to allow all remote content has no effect

The broken image symbol appears in place of the images but associated web links do work ok.

You only need to post a URL to your web site. We can see your code in Browser.
So, your page looks OK to me in Firefox, but when I tried to check it in IE, it choked my browser and closed it.
You have quite a few code validation errors - no document type declaration, etc... Start by fixing these reported errors.

I am using the function module as mentioned below....the VERY IMPORTANT thing here is i want to add the company LOGO on the body of the emails that i am sending....I will see the mail status in SOST as u all know..Here if i open any one e-mail i should be able to see the company logo in the body of the mail..

Converting an Outlook email with Images doesn't work

I can convert any email from Outlook to a PDF and it will include all .doc and .pdf files, but it seems to just ignore any image attachments. I'm using Acrobat 11.0.06
Is there a reason why or a solution to get around this? I need to maintain a database of all my applications and some come in as PDF's, others as image files.
I cannot find an email address for Adobe either, bit fustrating.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Goto the Change Conversion settings option on the Adobe PDF tab in outlook.
On the settings tab , unselect - "Block downlaod of external content"
That should solve the issue for you.

When I open an email with images, Outlook Express keeps defaulting to Internet Explorer rather than FireFox to get the image, since I have IE disabled this means that I see no image. I have FF set as my default browser. Please can you help?

I first noticed the problem 3 months ago when a virus set a proxy on Internet Explorer. Removal of the proxy brought the image back, but this showed that Outlook Express uses IE to get images even when FF is set as default browser

I might be able to experiment with this a little.
Are you running a recent version of Outlook Web App (i.e., Exchange 2010)?
When you save files using IE, what format are they in (e.g., EML, RTF, HTML)?

IPhone/iPad can't send emails with images via Verizon Router

HI there,
My iPhone and iPad (both using 6.0.1) work fine when connected to the Verizon DSL router. Both internet and emails are ok.
However it won't send an email that contains a photo, even a small one. (Works fine from my computer and also via the iphone and ipad when logged onto my neighbours non-verizon DSL, and also when connected to wireless when I'm out and about.)
Basically it tries to send the message for about 5 minutes, then just sits in the outbox with an error message. "A copy has been placed in the Outbox. Sending the message content to the server failed."
Any ideas anyone? Guessing it must be a Router issue.
(By the way this happens from 5 different email accounts..mac, google etc)

By default, do you know what port the phone set up your outgoing e-mail with? Failing that, do you have the Firewall enabled on your modem by any chance?

IOS7- Emails with heavy images do not load

This has happened a lot lately. I'll get a newsletter email with lots of images, or just large images and they will not load. The spinning icon indicating data is coming will animate for a few seconds and then stop. I end up with a blank email.
Clicking FORWARD will display the email contents.

Thanks. I had the setting set already. I don't get the partially downloaded message when this happens, I get nothing. Or in the most recent case, only the background image of the email loaded, not html text or images loaded. Just a blank email except for the background and there is no way to get it to load. If I forward the email, it displays immediatly. So this is like a rendering or display issue possibly related that may or may not be related to network. I get other emails with images so I don't believe it to be slow connection and the images will display when I click forward.
This has only happened to a handful of emails, so it's random at this point.

How Mail work with image attachements and HTML image ?

I'm writing an application that sends html emails with images to Mail.app. When Mail display the mail, everything is okay, images are correctly embedded in html code, using inline attachements.
But there's still a problem : The images are also displayed at the bottom of the email, as file attachements. I know that Mail's template can hide these attachements, but I cannot reproduce it when sending my own emails.
Is there anybody here that already get such problem and find the solution ? (apparently, Windows User get the same problem with Outlook, but they have an API under Windows...I'm using my own email API..)

David can you share how you managed to get the inline images to work. I've got the general idea of how to do it. But I do not seem to be able to change the Content-Type to multipart/mix. Can you point me in the right direction. Should the Content-Type definition and everything else be part of the body? Or should some headers (namely the multipart) be defined in the mailto URL format?
In other words do you do: mailto:?subject=test&Content-Type=multipart/mix;%20boundary=myBoundary&body=--m yBoundary etc...
Or id it: mailto:?subject=test&body=Content-Type=multipart/mix;%20boundary=myBoundary%20- -myBoundary etc..
Neither seems to work for me so I am really stuck. But knowing what the right way is would help me figure things out a bit better.

I had a similar problem in that my wife's iphone 5 could not send pics with imessage. Had to set the settings to default to SMS or whatever. After laboring many hours on the web I coincidentally was on the phone with the internet people to question my internet speed. They changed the router channel, which is something that I am capable of doing myself. After that, the pics go over imessage. My own Iphone didn't have the problem. We are both latest IOS 7.0.6.

I can no longer email documents that has attachments with images (even a scanned document), I can no longer put pictures on my facebook through the firefox but can do it through the internet explorer. What happened?

Since 10 days ago I can no longer put pictures on facebook and email documents (powerpoint slides with images). Now I have to use internet explorer to do these. I contacted AOL they weren't able to fix it and guided me to use the internet explorer

I can't help with the scan/print problem. You seem to have done everything I would try.
I don't know if maybe using a registry cleaner would help.

Image embed in email with ABAP

The customer want me to send Emails with given Image embeded in the Email body (ie not as attachment) in a SAP system Release 4.6.
I'm able to send a HTML email with :
SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1
with a message body (in HTML) and with a variable number of attachments without problem.
My real problem is to put a image (the company logo) in the body message.
I try with <img> and src = name of the image send as attachment but doesn't work.
For my purpose is the same thing to put the image embed or send as attachment, the most important thing is that the image (a gif file with company logo) MUST appear in the body message.
Is it possibile to resolve with a src that point directly to the image attachment?
Please, is quite urgent.
Any help would be appreciate!

APPEND IT_MESS_BOD.
when i am sending mail other than me than they are not able to see image in there system.

I am having the same problem + I cannot download pdf attachment effectively.
This all happened after I upgraded the iOS to 7.x. In iOS 6.x, everything was working fine. I was able to see all the images in the email and, when I clicked on the pdf attachment, it would ask me if I want to save the pdf file to iBook. Right now, I cannot have either ones working.
I am using iPad 2.
