Embedded youtube videos load on all other browsers but not Firefox

I have embedded youtube videos into a website...
They work on ALL OTHER BROWSERS but not on Mozilla Firefox.
I have tried:
1. Clearing cache & cookies and using Safe Mode.
2. 18 different computers running Windows 7, Windows 8, Mac OSX, Linux Ubuntu 12.10 and Fedora 16.
3. Using old embed code instead of iframe.
4. Loading HTML5 works but Firefox cannot fullscreen (still under youtube development)
5. Redoing site from scratch.
Code is as follows, note middle video is old youtube code: http://pastebin.com/T3w09bqW
Picture of problem: http://i.stack.imgur.com/rJjyu.png

Good point. When I insert that snippet of code in a new page, it runs for me. (Except that the first one says the frame is too small.) Does this work for you? http://dev.jeffersonscher.com/yt/941211.html

  • Pictures load on all other browsers but not safari

    Hi,
For some reason when I view my virtual tour webpages on safari the thumbnails on the bottom bar don't load first time. I need to refresh the page (but this doesn't work every time) or re enter the web address to get the thumbnails to appear. I dont have this issue with other browsers just safari. Why is this? All I can think is the script used for the tours is causing issues with the images. But why is this? and how can I fix it?
    An example: http://www2.div.ed.ac.uk/other/tour/virtual_tour.html
    Thanks
    Michael

  • I have a php module which runs fine in Firefox and all other browsers but not Safari. It always run twice - I see a small ? in upper right corner which is causing it to run twice but NO idea why? Help - thank you

I have a php module which runs fine in Firefox and all other browsers but not Safari. It always run twice - I see a small ? in upper right corner which is causing it to run twice but NO idea why? I read it MAY have something to do with am image it cannot load but I see them all loaded.  Help - thank you

Could you share a link to the page?
Seeing it in context and in our browsers is much easier to debug.
If not, make sure to run the validator here The W3C Markup Validation Service and clear out any problems. HTML errors, especially structural ones, will cause all kinds of display problems in various browsers/versions/platforms.

  • I can not get Firefox to play music backgrounds on pages in browsers it works in IE and other browsers but not firefox, what HTML or Jave script do I need too use to make them work?

I'm having a problem with firefox playing background music on some sites, it works with IE and other browsers but not with fire fox, what html or java script do I need to add to the pages so that they play the music?
I develop my pages in Front Page and I know that the music only works in IE, so if someone can tell me how to correct this problem as it is important as I use fire fox as my main browser.
    I thank you in advance

If a website uses BGSOUND then it will only work in IE.
BGSOUND is not compatible with other browsers like Firefox.

  • Why does my javascript code work fine in all other browsers, but not Safari

Previously, I have asked how Safari handles javascript trying to resolve a problem with a slide menu, (http://www.designoutput.com/testslide.html) being directed to validator. I have corrected as many things as possible and still have code work in other browsers. Why will my code work in all other browsers (IE 5.2, Firfox, Netscape, and Opera) and not Safari. It appears that Apple would address some of the problems that people are listing. Possibly, my problem is not with Safari, but my code, if so why does it work in all other browsers. Having more knowledge of how Safari accepts code or handles code differently than other browsers would be helpful. It would be nice if I could debug my code in Safari step by step to know where the problem is at. I'm just frustrated with Safari after working on my problem for over a month. Would be very greatful to anyone that could just being to get my code to appear in Safari (only a blank page in Safari, menu appears in all other browsers)

you seem to have deleted even more end tags. elements (<a>, <div>, <td>, etc.) need to be closed (</a>, </div>, </td>, etc.) to structure the code properly.
    incorrect:
    document.write(<font ...><b>example)
    correct:
    document.write(<font...><b>example</b></font>)
check out w3schools for html and javascript help.
the ilayer tag should only be in your NS (i.e. not NS6) code, but it too needs to be closed.
i don't use IE, but with these fixes i've gotten your page to display fine in safari, firefox and opera.

  • Pages that load in all other browsers do not load in Safari

Our Web application uses HTTPS and a Thawte-issued 256-bit AES SSL certificate. In IE, Firefox, and Chrome, the pages of our Web application load absolutely fine. In Safari 4.0.5, the pages do not load in the browser. When looking at the source for the page, there absolutely is content there, but appears to be cut off after a certain number of lines. I've tried a couple of pages, and there doesn't seem to be anything incorrect about the HTML at the line directly after the last one that Safari was able to pull back.
I read in some forums that this may have to do with content chunking and/or variable content lengths. I read in others that it may have to do with serving images from non-HTTPS servers while using an HTTPS connection. I think the former sounds more likely.
Has anyone encountered this issue before? This is not the known "page doesn't load in Safari, but then does when I access it in another browser" issue. It doesn't matter how many times I successfully access the pages in other browsers. They are never rendered in Safari.
Does anyone know how to control the behavior of Safari (or even of Apache HTTP Server 2.0) when it comes to responses of variable content lengths and/or response chunking? Or am I completely off the mark?
    Thanks,
    Mike

It turns out that Apache's mod_jk.log, which is used to store the output of communications between Apache and Tomcat, had become full. Once it reaches 2 GB, Apache can't write to it anymore. Once we stopped Apache, stopped Tomcat, rotated out that mod_jk.log, and restarted both Apache and Tomcat, our Web application started working again in both Safari and much more reliably in Chrome.

  • I have code on one of my website pages to list all the entries in a database (PHP). I can list all entries in other browsers but not Firefox.

In Firefox only so much data gets displayed. When a new entry is added one drops off the bottom. The information displayed gets cut off at any point in the data. It will sometimes display only part of the oldest entry. It's like only so many lines of data can be displayed.
I have viewed the same page on other browsers and don't have this issue.
I just updated Firefox to 19.0 but the problem continues.

This can happen if your script doesn't close all of the HTML tags it opens. Some past threads on pages not rendering fully (usually the missing text is there in the source view, Ctrl+u):
    * [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/846246 Part way through a particular web page, HTML stops being rendered]
    * [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/929969 text is missing from webpage]
If you do not spot the problem, is there a publicly accessible page that you could link to so volunteers could take a look?

  • Youtube videos load slow in FF & Chrome, but fine in IE.

So my problem is that Youtube videos load in a very choppy way in Firefox and Chrome, first 15 seconds load, then there's a long pause, before next 15 or so seconds are loaded. However, they load smoothly on Internet Explorer. I've reinstalled browsers and Flash, tried disabling HW acceleration, all to no avail.

It seems to me that you should not need padding if the bottom image is 'pasted' to the bottom of the menu. If the bottom div is the same size as the image, you also don't need to say "background-position: bottom;" You know that it is the 'bottom' of the menu visually. The div doesn't care where it is...it's probable that the padding is pushing the image right out of the picture (so to speak).
I don't see the bottom padding on the markup, anyway. Are the image you are presenting corresponding to the code you pasted in? By the way, seeing code pasted in is not as good as seeing the page and code in situ...by getting a link for it.

  • We are facing issue to open a static form PDF in Chrome Browser , which is loaded using Adobe FormService.Able to open in other browsers but not able to open the static forms in chrome with LC 11.0 version

We are facing issue to open a static form PDF in Chrome Browser
, which is loaded using Adobe FormService.
Able to open in other browsers but not able to open the static
forms in chrome with LC 11.0 version
    Below error message:
The document you are trying to load
requires Adobe Reader 8 or higher. You may not have the Adobe Reader installed
or your viewing environment may not be properly configured to use Adobe Reader.
For information on how to install Adobe Reader and configure your viewing
    environment please see http://www.adobe.com/go/pdf_forms_configure.
Please let us know do we have any option for disabling
<NoXFA/> tag by calling formService. RenderPDF() method on adobe service
For dynamic forms its working by adding <NOXFA/> in
DDX xml . only for static forms its not working because we are not using
    assembler service for this forms.
Please let us know how we can disable XFA in static forms??????????????????

If anyone is reading this still looking for what caused the issue and how to fix it here is what I discovered.
The antivirus program our company uses, Bitdefender Antivirus Plus, was causing some of the PDF files not to open. After troubleshooting the different modules and settings the culprit was..
Scan SSL in Privacy Control Settings. Turning it OFF solved the problem and all the PDF files that previously would not open now open just fine. This issue has been sent to Bitdefender for them to review. If you use a different antivirus program and are having this issue try locating the Scan SSL setting and see if turning it off solves the problem.

    Try quitting the App Store:
Tap the home button to get to the home screen. Then double tap the home button, and hold your finger over the App Store icon. Tap the red when it appears. Tap the home button again to return to the home screen.
    Try resetting:
Hold the home and power buttons at the same time until the Apple boot logo appears. No data will be lost.

  • I can no longer print from a website. I can from other browsers but not Mozilla. Help

I used to be able to print any time I needed to. Then the print became so small I could not read it. Then the pages I printed from the website, printed blank pages. I contacted Thunderbird because this was first noted on email when I tried to print something from a website, they told me it was a Mozilla problem. So I then tried to print straight from the website and got the same thing. Nothing. The page is completely blank when printed.

These suggestions are not the problem and I have contacted HP and they have run all the diagnostics and they say the problem is not with the printer or the software. All other browsers print, just not Mozilla

  • Why do Youtube video clips and all others, for that matter, take hours to load and never play properly?

My java script is enabled, my machine running latest versions of Firefox and Windows and yet it is impossible to download and play any video clips as it takes forever to load and play and still does not play the clips as they were intended.

Since you mention Internet Explorer, I assume that you are on Windows.
Do you sometimes clear your browser cache?  (Tools | Internet Options | tab General | Delete browsing history)
Do you sometimes clear Flash Player local storage?  (Control Panel | Flash Player Settings Manager | tab Storage | Delete all)
Does enable/disable Hardware Acceleration make any difference?  (See http://forums.adobe.com/thread/891337)
Do you have the latest graphics drivers installed?  (See http://forums.adobe.com/thread/945765)
Finally, is your Internet connection stable?

  • Firefox updated yesterday and now it won't load any webpages. Have reviewed articles on this problem and checked everything. Still won't load. All other browsers work fine.

Have checked firewall and network settings and compared to other computers running firefox. All is ok, but firefox won't load any webpages. This started immediately after it updated yesterday. No error messages.
Have been having problems with updates on serveral of our computers for a month or so. Previous problems have always been that firefox renames a file it needs by adding moz.backup to the file name and I have to search for the file and remove it. This time I'm getting no error messages.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.
