Employee Interaction Center

Dear Colleagues,
In Customer Interaction Center (CIC), search is possible based on Customer(Activity Partner).
But in general Scenario, in Mobile Sales, Sales Representative will assigne some activity to Person Responsible (CIC agent). Now CIC agent will go to his desktop and he should have facility to search based on his employee number. Here I am talking about the Employee based search. I am been told that we need to have Employee interaction center for this.
Any other suggestions on this will really be appreciated.
My main concern is to have Employee based search in CIC.

    It did not cover KM or CTI both of which are fully integrated with the Employee Interaction Center.
    You can also integrate to a 3rd Party knowledge repository "through" KM into EIC via delivered BADI's

    Hi All,
    I would like to get more details about the Employee Request. Is it assigned to the same BOR object as the new Service Request ? Or is it the same as Service ticket ? Can it be assigned to a CASE ?

    This questions depends on the version of the Employee Interaction Center you are using.....if you are using the ERP (Enterprise) version of EIC you can have employees fill out the webrequest which gets routed into the agents inbox.
    If you are using CRM or the new SSF (EHP5) this funcationality is not enabled though my guess is it will be with EHP6 but you could always build a custom solution.

  • EIC Activity Owner Org Unit - Employee interaction center

    Hello Junta,
    I am trying to make a prototype for HR Employee Interaction Center for my company.
    In the Activity page of EIC application, there is a field called Owner Org. Unit which is mandatory. However I am unable to get any data in that drop down field. No org unit is showing up. I have also maintained the IC WebClient Profile OM infotype (1261) for that Organisational Unit.
    Kindly suggest as to what must be done to get some data into that Owner Org. Unit field.
    Can it be made - not mandatory. where can it be done ?

    What are the prerequisities to implement SAP CRM IC WebClient for Emplyee Interaction center functionality, i.e, How to mainatin org structure, etc.
    We want to use SAP CRM for this functionality alone.

    I don think that u need to maintain the entire R3 org set up here in CRM for the IC cause,since IC comprises of hell lot lesser number of agents ,so it required just to maintain just a small org structure which can be easily mainatined within CRM manually
    BCM is business communication managment when any communication management software is integrated with CRM server thorugh ICI this BCM comes into picture as it passes the business contents to the CRM thorugh the IC server.

  • Attachments in Adobe form for ISR in Employee Interaction center

    Hi Experts,
    I have a requirement to attach a document to Adobe form which uses ISR scenario.
    I am using the attachment option of PDF but the attachment is not going through.
    I am using standard ISR scenarion SEIC.
    Can anyone please let me know if there is any other method for attaching the doc. to Adobe form and send the Adobe form to agents inbox using Workflow.

    For first option {1. You may be able to use the custom event in the adobe form, and attach a script routine to this event to link the attachment to the PDF form.}
    Can you please let me know how we can add a custom Event for scripting?
    Also i dont know Java script so can you please provide me any reference from where we can start the coding/ writing a Script to add the attachments.
    For the second option { 2. Trigger a custom process instead of the ISR from the ESS.}
    What custom process can we use. Can we go ahead with HCM forms and processes to achieve the functionality?

  • CRM 5.0 Employee Interaction Center installation

    We  have CRM 5.0 . Do we have to install anything in particular to  EIC. Also What are IMG task specific to EIC?
    Any help in this regards will be highly appreciated.

    You need JRE Version between 1.4.2_02 and 1.4.2_09. Any version below the lower value or above the higher value would not be accepted by the installation and this message would pop-up. If you have any version within the above specified range and also a higher version like 1.5, it is recommended to uninstall 1.5 version before proceeding with the installation. Once uninstalled, you need to restart your machine and then try the installation. If the error recurs, then right click on the 5.0 InstallationAssistant.msi which can be found under the Mobile_Client_Installation folder and select the option Uninstall. Select Yes on the prompt that appears next. This should uninstall the old version of the installation package from the machine Then you could start the installation once again by running setup.exe.

    We want to implement EIC. However, I do not have any resource to start with. It is the first time I have come across EIC.
    The EIC component is installed with ECC 6.0. We currently do not have Solution Manager.
    Can someone assist on how and where a newbee should start for EIC implementation?

    5) I believe this is your first EIC implementation Paul. Was there any source of EIC Knowledge for Implementation apart from the help documentation? Could you suggest any online resources or books that have helped you or would help me ? Any cookbooks ?
    This question was for Paul so I will let him respond but there are multiple cookbooks as I have been involved in ramp up projects for EHP1, EHP2 and EHP4 (all of which have new EIC functionality) but they are copyrighted and property of SAP and it is my understanding that they cannot be shared.     6) What kind of basis support is needed for setting up EIC ?
    Basis support is needed in a part time role for an EIC project to set up environments, copy baseline config from client 000, activate services, apply OSS notes, web dispatcher, RFC destination configuration, enhancement packages, implement business packages, portal definition etc. Sorry about the formatting....not sure it is showing up this way.

  • EIC-- Employee Interaction Cente-- UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION

    We have installed EIC, on SAP EIC 6.O
    When we execute the EIC, by transaction "HREIC" we have a runtime error on the abap system transaction "ST22":
    The web client is shown good in the internet explorer but we have the runtime error
    The exception 'CX_SFW_SWITCH_EXISTENCE' was raised, but it was not caught
    anywhere along
    the call hierarchy.
    Since exceptions represent error situations and this error was not
    adequately responded to, the running ABAP program
    'CL_WEBCUIF_SWITCH=============CP' has to be
    terminated.
    Do you have any idea?

    In my test landscape everything works fine, and i don´t have this problem. I have it on production
    I checked that both tables have the same entries in my test landscape and my production landscape.
    Do you have any other idea to check, please?

  • Employee Intreraction Center - Process & Ticket Routing Question

    Hi,
    I am trying to find the best possible way to meet a requirement for routing employee requests through multiple groups.
    Requirement: An employee request is created in the Employee Interaction Center. The request involves multiple steps and approvals that the request must go through before resolution. The various steps should also have SLA's tied to them so that this can be captured and reported against.
    Without customization, can we use the Rule/Category Modeler, Actions, Alerts ..etc to meet this requirement. If customization is required, how much effort will be involved?

    Hi Ini,
    That is a fairly standard procedure especially in an EIC environment. You will need to create specific date profile with date stamp types for each phase. The trick then is the SLA response profile which works on your category/priority/catalog/code group/code, and the escalation management settings. Actions will be needed so that when the conditions are met, you can trigger the next step.
    For EIC, I would recommend that you speak with Jarret Pazahanick of EIC Experts (www.eicexperts.com) who has done a lot of successful EIC implementations.
