Enabling a Button on my ABAP Web Dynpro after reading imbedded Smartform.

Hi:
How would I go about enabling a Button on my ABAP Web Dynpro after the user has read the imbedded Smartform?  Basically I have a Smartform in an Interactive Form on the UI.  After the reader scrolls to the bottom of the Smartform, I want the "Agree to Contents" button to be enabled, so that the User implies that they have read the 5 page document.
Thanks,
MG

Hi,
Why you are not using the interavtive adobe form instanted of Smartform.
You can add the button to your interactive adobe form. User sould have to go last page for it, without scrolling he will not go to bottom of form.

             this is possible........ all the ui elelments has the property called visible and enabled.... just assign an attribute of type wdui_visibility to the visible property....
    in the wddomodify method..... check for the radio button value and pass the value true or false to this attribute and it gets changed automatically.

  • Use of multiple components in ABAP WEB DYNPRO

    Hi,
    Am  new to  abap web dynpro and I just want to know whether  we  can  use  multiple components for an application in web dynpro.
    Thanks ,

    Hi,
    depending requirement of application we can use multiple components.
    for example if we want to display table data into alv grid for that we can use the existing(standard component) ie: SALV_WD_TABLE  .Like such a way we can use the components as per our requirements.
    For importing components:
    --> Go to properties tab of view of your web dynpro application
    --> There you can find one button create controller usage ,click on it then import the components
    Thanks&Regards

  • No editable form fields in ABAP Web Dynpro

    Hi,
    I created a form with layout type ZCI. The interface type is "ABAP Dictionary-Based Interface".
    This form I embedded in a abap web dynpro component.
    In the ABAP WD interactive form element I marked the enabled property.
    Unfortunately the displayed form fields are not editable.
    When I use a interface of type "XML-Schema-Based Interface" the fields are editable.
    Is this a bug or is something missing?
    I am using Live Cycle Designer 8.1 and SAP_BASIS 7.0, EHP 2, SP07
    Thank you and best regards,
    Eddy
    Edited by: Edgar Meyer on Oct 1, 2011 7:06 PM

    Hi Eddy,
    In your Interface, you probably have to pass the "Fillable" flag in your importing /1BCDWB/DOCPARAMS structure.
    I've developed many forms over the past few years and have learned that when using web dynpro, it's almsot exclusiely easier to use the XML-based schema than DDIC.
    The only time I'm using DDIC instead of XML when in WDA, is because I'm having to pass in rich text formatted objects through a Text Node.

  • ABAP Web Dynpro - OfficeControl - Word Integration

    Hi,
    i have a problem concerning the office control of the abap web dynpro.
    I have a textedit box on the view of a web dynpro. Now i want to transfer the data from the textedit box to the word document. I used the "IOS_TEST_WORDPROCESSING" as an example.
    Everything works fine, if there is only one line of text in the textedit box. If i put for example three lines in it, word opens and now i have the choice for a data seperator.
    The word document contains only one field as a "MergeField" like the field of the word document used in the "IOS_TEST_WORDPROCESSING".
    Could anyone give me a hint how to solve the problem.
    With best regards
    Markus

    I have the same problem. I want to integrate an ABAP Web Dynpro in GP, but there is no way to implement an Interface from GP like it is in JAVA. That means you cannot maintain input , output parameters and give a status back to GP. Seems that in ABAP the WD is not integrated in GP.
    I went to the relevant developement departement an they gave me the following answer.
    In GP you can maintain input parameters for a ABAP Web Dynpro Application manually which will be displayed in the apllication UI URL . Then you need a function module to map the input parameters inside the url to the ABAP Web Dynpro context. Output parameters are not possible in GP with ABAP Web Dynpro. It is also not possible to give back the processing state to GP from your ABAP web Dynpro Application like it is in JAVA. Only the GP framework provides a button to complete this Step manually by the user.

  • ABAP Web Dynpro Window Inactive After Closing Popup Window

    Hello ABAP'ers
    I have a custom ABAP Web dynpro applications that uses multiple tiers of popup windows.  This application was functioning properly in our ECC6.0, Basis release 7.00 Service level 15 environment.  However, we are currently installing EHP4 and moving or basis release to 7.01 service level 5. In this new environment, when multiple popup window tiers are closed simultaneously, the underlining window is not re-activated.
    Here's a more specific description:
    The application starts with a control panel window presenting a series of buttons.  Selecting one of these buttons activates a modal (I know... all web dynpro popups are modal) popup window for the purpose of maintaining some object.  If the user attempts to exit this window without saving the changes, another popup window appears asking if they want to save their changes.  If they say no, both the popup window asking the question and the popup maintenance window are closed, thus returning the user to the switchboard.
    The problem is that none of the functionality on the switchboard is active. the user must manually refresh the URL to "reactivate" the switchboard.
    When only a single popup window is closed, the underlying window is properly reactivated.  The problem only occurs when multiple popups are closed together.
    Has anybody else seen this occur? Any ideas / notes around to correct it?
    Any info is greatly appreciated.
    R/

    Hello Jim, hello everyone,

  • Implicit commit in ABAP Web Dynpro?

    I wonder if ABAP Web Dynpro is executing an implicit commit. I have two buttons on the same view. The first one inserts an entry into a table, the second one executes a "rollback work" (and to be sure calls function "DB_ROLLBACK").
    However, after first pressing the insert-button and secondly the rollback-button, the rollback had no effect, i.e. one dataset has been permanently inserted into the database table.
    Is it possible that until the view is ready for new processing (i.e. finished any initializations) an implicit commit is executed by SAP?
    I have not used any commit nor do I use debugger mode.
    The same behavior happens when I split the insert and rollback things into two views. In the second view the rollback is possible before the inbound plug is processed to the end, but afterwards (e.g. when handling a button click by an assigned method) not.

    Hi Klaus,
    I was wondering if you could do a ST05 trace? It will reveal the place where the commit happens. It will be quite interesting to see if it happens inside of the WD runtime. If yes, I would consider it a bug.
    Best regards,
    Thomas

  • RFC/BAPI Call (ABAP Web Dynpro)- DYNPRO_SEND_IN_BACKGROUND

    Hi all,
    I'm developing an ABAP Web Dynpro application which utilise a RFC enabled function module. When I tried to execute the function module through the browser it terminated with an abap dump. I checked ST22 and found the following dump: 'DYNPRO_SEND_IN_BACKGROUND'. However when I tried executing it using SE37, the function module works fine.
    Any ideas?
    Ricky

    Hello Ricky,
    to my guts feeling that should be fine, but I have never used call dialog in such a scenario. If I were in your shoes I would try to break down the problem:
    - Is it of general nature?
    - Is it specific to this dialog?
    To distinquish that I would write the most basic dialog and use it the same way as the target one. If this fails too, using FuBa´s with call dialog seems to be not possible => try to avoid that situation. If the test succeeds, well the hunt for the needle in the haystack is open.
    Good Luck

  • Consume WebService in ABAP Web Dynpro

    Hi, Is there any How To or step by step document which shows to consume web service in ABAP Web Dynpro.
    I've searched a lot but could not find any.
    Please provide me some pointer/examples.
    Thanks,
    CD

    Hi Thomas,
    I am facing a problem in consuming web service in webdynpro.
    I created a web service for standard FM BAPI_BUS1240_CREATE (it is available in SAP ECC server).
    I want to consume this web service in another system (SAP Portal system, where users will be providing input; this FM is not available here).
    I created a Proxy class in SAP Portal system through the WSDL document of the Web service.
    I configured logical port for the same in TCode: SOAMANAGER and successfully tested the Client proxy (through TCode: SE80). As a result, the record is created in SAP ECC server.
    Now, I am unable to do the same through Webdynpro. Please find the attached Proxy class screen-shot. It has 6 methods of which BUS1240_CREATE contains the relevant parameters of the actual BAPI FM.
    I filled up the same parameters that I used in Testing the Client proxy but unable to create record in SAP ECC system. My code (On_submit of a button) looks like below,
    TRY.
          CREATE OBJECT wd_assist
            EXPORTING
              logical_port_name = 'ZXXXXXXX'.          "Logical port configured through SOAMANGER
            CATCH cx_ai_system_fault.
      ENDTRY.
          CALL METHOD wd_assist->bus1240create                  "Method filled with input parameters given by user
            EXPORTING
              input  = ls_inp
            IMPORTING
              output = ls_outp.
    After execution of method BUS1240_CREATE, system throws the error as below,
    The following error text was processed in the system DEP : Error (id=SoapFaultCode:5 ): Web service processing error; more details in the web service error log on provider side (UTC timestamp 20141011062545; Transaction ID 5B0F51E4AD4EF13EA6B9E41F137BE3CC)
    Please tell me where I went wrong. Do I need to call methods of the Proxy class? Also suggest if any configuration change involved in this.
    Have a nice day, thanks.

  • ESS 1.2 - ABAP Web Dynpro Clarifications

    Hi all,
    We are on Ehp 2 in ECC 6.0 with ESS 1.2 in EP 7.0 and using only 'Travel & Expense' part for our implementation. I have below clarifications
    1. In ESS 1.2 package we have an Overview page and iView, I believe it is for JAVA Web Dynpro, will this support for ABAP Web Dynpro iViews or how to bring ABAP WebDynpro applications with Overview ?
    2. I have Mirrored the ESS PCD Content and modified only 'Invisible in Navigation Areas' parameter. Now the issue I am facing is while selecting button 'Create Travel Request' under 'My Trips and Expenses'. The request is fetching the original content navigation instead of the new Mirrored content. Also while debugging we find the routing 'Navigation Context' as below:
    DynamicParameter=SAP_FITV_ACTION=&SAP_FITV_EXIT_OP=CallTripsPOWL&SAP_FITV_TRIPCMP=R&HistoryMode=1&NavigationContext=ROLES://portal_content/com.sap.pct/every_user/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.bp_folder/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.roles/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.employee_self_service/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.employee_self_service/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.area_travel_expenses/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.12.request
    Is this parameter set by default to fetch the content ? Is it possible to change this entry, if yes, how ?
    Kindly let me know if any clues.
    Thanks!
    Sankar Kumar

    You need to replace the T&E portal content and Homepage Framework config (if using it) for the "older" Webdynpro Java version with the newer (EhP2) Webdynpro ABAP version. There is a very good step-by-step guide (I believe in Service Marketplace) that guides you through each and every change to make to switch one with the other. To your immediate questions...
    (1) Those are the replacements for the WDJ iViews. They are pretty much the same. As said, you need to "switch them out".
    (2) Switch out the WDJ iView with  the WDA iView. The parameter needs to reflect YOUR ESS ROLE pcd path to the object. (the one you show is the standard SAP ESS role....which is fine if you are just using it as is).
    Again, best to find that guide. I used it on my last project and it took all of maybe 30 min. to switch the old for new if you follow it.
    Also, read all the help.sap.com info on it....

  • ABAP Web Dynpro, ALV, Cardinality 0..n, Remove Select/Deselect All

    Hi Everyone
    I am developing a new application using ABAP Web Dynpro. I am using ALV. I want to give the user the option to select either 0 or multiple rows in the ALV grid. However, I want to hide the standard Select All/Deselect All push button that appears in the top left hand corner. This is because we do not want the user to simply select all and then click on a pushbutton to complete the process. If they wish to do this, they must manually select each item first of all. Anyone have any ideas? I've looked at the underlying ABAP classes for WD4A, but cannot find a method to do this.
    Thanks in advance for your help!!
    Jon

    Hello,
    To hide the buttons that appear at the top left of ALV, do the following:
    lo_model->if_salv_wd_std_functions~set_edit_check_available(
        EXPORTING value  = abap_false )   .
      lo_model->if_salv_wd_std_functions~set_edit_append_row_allowed(
          EXPORTING  value  = abap_false )  .
      lo_model->if_salv_wd_std_functions~set_edit_insert_row_allowed(
        EXPORTING  value  = abap_false )   .
      lo_model->if_salv_wd_std_functions~set_edit_delete_row_allowed(
        EXPORTING  value  = abap_false )   .
      lo_model->if_salv_wd_std_functions~set_pdf_allowed( abap_false ).
      lo_model->if_salv_wd_std_functions~set_view_list_allowed( abap_false ).
    lo_model->if_salv_wd_std_functions~SET_EXPORT_ALLOWED( abap_false ).
    Hope this helps!
