End_of_page in alv

Hi ,
Can anyone send me some sample code for the end_of_page in ALV using (reuse_alv_grid_display) . Iam not using the Object Oriented ALV .
I generated a report using alv , with end-of-page , where the text is getting displayed only in the print priview of the alv .
Can anyone explain this .

  • Diff between END_OF_LIST & END_OF_PAGE in ALV's

    Hi can anyone plz tell me the exact difference between the END_OF_LIST & END_OF_PAGE in ALV's? I had actually coded to call up a subroutine containing the REUSE_ALV_COMMENTARY_WRITE when the END_OF_PAGE event arises. In this subroutine am just displaying some graphic & footer text using the FM. I was curious as to where does the exact difference arise as I get the same output irrespective of whether I use the END_OF_LIST & END_OF_PAGE. Coding of any of the events does produce a similar output with the logo & footer text always being displayed at the bottom of the list. (And its also available on every page including the last page when I scroll down to see the remaining list entries.) Experts please devote some time & provide your explanation. Thanks...

    Thanks for the reply. But am still kind of unclear coz even END_OF_LIST is being triggered for each and every page of the list. I had tried to print some graphic & text at the bottom & top of the list output. So for both these events I had coded 2 subroutines with calls to REUSE_ALV_COMMENTARY_WRITE. I end up getting the graphic & text being displayed on all the pages of the list output irrespective of whether I chose END_OF_LIST or END_OF_PAGE

    Could you please give me the solution for the below issue?
    Requirement is like this:
    I have to display two grids in my report, and in that one grid will have top-of-page and other one will
    have end-of-page. Here, I am able to display the data in the top-of-page but not able to display the data in
    end of page. (Here I am using cl_gui_alv_grid : Class and Event is: END_OF_LIST.).
    I gone through the BCALV_TEST_GRID_EVENTS, but that is not helpful to me.
    Please anyone can you send the code snippet for the above one.

    In the class cl_salv_table you have method get_event get the event from the method.
    Pass u r end of page iver here .it raises the event end of page

    I am using the HIER_SEQ_LIST_DISPLAY for the output of my report .
    I have passed the subroutine into the TOP_OF_PAGE event and i am getting the top of page details in the output..
    Same thing i am doing for END_OF_PAGE , but i am not able to see the end of page details. In the Subroutine for END_OF_PAGE i have two write messages.
    ...Help me to get the end of page ..

    I am not sure about your code, but please check following programs. You will get idea and can make error fix (if any) in your program.

  • End of Page event not triggering in ALV report

    Hello,
    I am developing an ALV report using REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY. Whatever I write in top_of_page, it will be displayed in the header portion of the output.
    But I want to display some footer text at the end of the page. The problem I am facing is, the WRITE statements within end_of_page are not displayed when the report is run.
    I have populated the i_events as follows :

  • Header and Footer in Block ALV Display

    Hi All,
    My requirement includes to ALV Block List Display with header and footer.
    I have made two forms TOP_OF_PAGE and END_OF_PAGE . I have pass the form and name of event to an internal table it_events.
    This it_events[] is then passed to FM ' REUSE_ALV_BLOCK_LIST_APPEND' . But only Top of Page is working.
    Am I missing any thing in the code? or I have to use something else.

  • Footer Not Getting Displayed IN OO ALV

    HI Experts,
    I am using OO ALV and wish to display a footer for it.
    but the footer is not getting displayed.

    Footer for each page means you should use the EVENT END_OF_PAGE this will trigger , but not in display, but when you print the report it will work.
    Footer at the end_of report then you have to use END_OF_LIST event.
    BCALV_TEST_LIST_EVENTS
    check the above program to test the events.
