I am facing a problem while updating the data from newly created tab in header for ME21N . Let me clarify I have designed the screen for adding the tab in header of me21n . Tab is diplay is over but New field added is not updated while in debugging.

(The steps advised were:

As mentioned, this did not work. I still get a bing search page for a new tab, regardless.

Guest WLAN need to re-authenticate for each new tab

Hi,
We installed recently a new WLC 2504 with 22 AP's.
We use web authentication for the guest WLAN.
The porblem is : users can login and authenticate but whenever the open a new webbrowser tab they need to re-authenticate again.
And this for each new tab they open.
Anybody knows how to solve this?

No, the user shouldn't have to reauthenticate for every tab they open, once the clients entry is built in the MSCB they should stay in a RUN state until either the reauth timer or the user idle timer expire.
First I'd upgrade to 7.0.220.0 and see if that resolves the issue. If it doens't get a TAC case open.

If Google is set as your Homepage in Firefox you can middle-click ''(push down on the mouse wheel)'' to open Google in a new Tab.
Or, you can add the feature to Firefox where clicking the New Tab button on the Tab Bar opens your Homepage in a new Tab.

How do I set the default page when I select "+" for a new tab? Right now it defaults to Yahoo search and I want to set it to my Speed Dial page. I did have the default page set to Speed Dial but I can't find anywhere how I did it in the past.

You can set the homepage for opening tabs, but I can't find the setting for designating what page opens when I hit the + button on tabs.

Firefox '''does not''' come with a setting for a page that opens in a new Tab, the default installation always opens a blank page when you open a new Tab. Many extensions include a feature to open their choice of a webpage when you open a new tab, as does the Speed Dial extension which uses a "local page" internal to Firefox.
You need to figure out which extension has taken over that preference that Speed Dial needs to use. You didn't bother providing a Troubleshooting Information... listing as requested when you asked this question, but I can guess your problem is related wither a Yahoo extension or a Conduit / OurToolbar extension - as there is a plugin listed = Package Installer & Install Conduit.

You can open the about:config page via the location bar and do a search for bing via the Filter at the top of the about:config page. 
You can reset all bing related prefs that appear bold (user set) via the right-click context menu to their default values.

For the past few days now, whenever I click 'open new tab' in firefox it opens immediately at the url posted above. I did, unsuspectingly which is how they get you if you are not careful, installed MySearchDial but removed it completely through add/remove and start/search. I even have new windows opening up with content I do not like at all ... my home page is the same again, but I cannot seem to figure out how to get my new tab to open in a blank page again (btw at the bottom of this 'chrome' page there is an mysearch.com icon - I have googled 'how to remove this' with no success).
I do not use Chrome and do not have it listed as one of the operating programs on my computer. However, when I start/search "chrome" there is a complete list of files and folders that are found and I am unsure if I should delete them all since many of them appear to be directly associated with Firefox. Please - this is frustrating ... what can I do to get rid of this garbage on my computer?

The "MySearchDial" app needs to be removed in 4 places.
1) Go to "add / remove programs" in your windows control panel select mysearchdial and remove it.
2) Open your Firefox browser then click the Firefox tab at the top left and select options. You will need to change the start page settings back to your preferred start page.
3) Again under the Firefox tab select "add-ons". In the add-ons manager you will need to remove mysearchdial from both "plugins" and "extensions"
4) In your search bar (top right of address bar" use the drop down menu and select "manage search engines". You can restore your preferred search engine and remove mysearchdial from the menu.
This should remove all the components of the nuisance hijacker and restore your browser back to your preferred settings. If you are comfortable with a more in depth removal I would also suggest going to your "programs" folder within the "C" drive of your machine and deleting the "MySearchDial" folder altogether. However, only do this AFTER you have uninstalled it from your system and if you are familiar with this type of removal.

Uninstall the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and Firefox that prevents new tabs from being opened.
There are a couple of places to check for the Ask toolbar:
* Check the Windows Control panel for the Ask Toolbar - http://about.ask.com/apn/toolbar/docs/default/faq/en/ff/index.html#na4

How can I get a new search box for each new tab?

When I open a new tab, I would like a new, dedicated search box that is owned by it. This would help to keep the context preserved when doing searches on multiple, separate topics. Is there a way to configure this or an add-on to do it?

You can do this by using the default about:home page with the Google search and place it in a new tab.
You can try to reset the prefs that do that to see if it'll reverse the action

*Search for "browser.newtab.url"
*Right click and Modify it, replace "browser.newtab.url" with '''about:home'''

BADI enhancement for ME21N

Hello experts,
I have a couple of queries regarding the BADI implementations ME_GUI_PO_CUST/ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST .
1. I want to add a new tab under the PO item based on the PO item type. E.g., If the PO item type is 'D' (service) then the new tab should be displayed otherwise not.
2. How can I disable the editing of a PO item field (say PO item number) or a PO header field (say Company code) in edit mode? I know its through fieldselection but a detailed example would be of great help.

Hi,
FIrst you need to implement the 2 BADIs in SE19.
The BADI ME_GUI_PO_CUST is responsible for Screen display and data exchange b/n db and the screen.
The second BADI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST is responsible for PO upadate.
To get the screen in the Transaction you need to code in the method SUBSCRIBE of the first BADI.
Example:
ls_subscriber-name = subscreen4.
 ls_subscriber-dynpro = 0700.
 ls_subscriber-program = prog_name.
 ls_subscriber-struct_name = structure.
 ls_subscriber-label = TEST.
 ls_subscriber-position = 4.
 ls_subscriber-height = 6.
 ls_subscriber-height = 8.
 append ls_subscriber to re_subscribers.
 clear ls_subscriber.
Plz go through the sample code provided by SAP for the BADIs in SE18.

First I would identify everything in about:config that refers to Yahoo.
Then I would remove everything about the Yahoo toolbar that is left that you don't want.

I have a requirement that in ME21N t-code Delivery / Invoice tab there is a field called Payment Terms. If user select Payment Terms as '0010'
then he wants to new screen which have different entries .
How can i do this issue when the user is selected Payment Terms as '0010' to generate new Tab in header part ?
