Entering Data in Table (ABAP Web Dynpro )

Hi Experts,
I need help in ABAP Web Dynpro Table. I have a table where multiple line item rows are there.
In each row there is a input text field to enter the quantity. Usually the the user would not click the lead selection and enter the field value. The user would enter the value in any of the rows, but the lead selection will not change accordingly. therefore the validation will not work properly.
Kindly guide me the way.

Hi,
If you have any button in the view,suppose like save or before leaving that particular view ypu can do the validations.
if you have a button.
What you can do is ,on action handler of button
Read the table and loop through it and do the validations.
CALL METHOD lo_nd_sap_prj_experience->get_static_attributes_table

LOOP AT lt_sap_prj_experience INTO ls_sap_prj_experience .

I have to display static (textview )data in table . So what im doing is that i have created a node of name "table" then created its attribues and binded it to the table and in table, under "column editor" option of "text" is there where i can write the required text . But Im not able to do the same thing in other rows. i.e. im restricted to only 1st row. How to enter it in other rows. So i want that i should write some content in all the rows of table and display it in text view when i execute it. Its just like u r presenting an excel sheet in output form to the user .

for creating any UI dynamically you shoul use their runtime class that always start with cl_wd_* ui element name*
so for the Table UI element the runtime class is CL_WD_TABLE
now reffer the below code for creating the Table UI dynamically

I am creating an Inbound Outbound ALV report in ABAP Web Dynpro. However at selection-screen I have select options and fetching is done at view2. Problem is we can pass parameter using inbound outbound parameters but how to pass internal table or field-symbols from one view to another view? I made use of Assistance Class too but its not very clear to me. Please give me some example or code to sort this problem out.

now click on the icon button n place it in the table control area.. a column of icons get created. name it (say) ICON.
in the PBO..
loop at internal table and call module in the loop (say) .

Tracking ABAP web dynpro events in back end SAP

Hi Experts ,
I have
Is there any way to capture the events on th ABAP web dynpro in the backend.
The scenario is that i have some particular code which gets executed in the back end when User clicks on any button or tab in the appraisal document , which is ABAP web dynpro application.
I want this code to be executed only when User clicks on particular TAB/BUTTON on the ABAP web dynpro.
Are there any system tables that I can check.I am novice in ABAP Web dynpro.

suppose in ur WD screenu take the sales organization as input .
and u want to do smthing like this in backend :
u wud like to read VBELN from VBAK where VKORG is with in sales organization range entered in input field
create a context attributeinside a context node in Context Tab inside ur view
first bind the VALUE property of ur Input field to a context attribute
inside the method OnActionClick thn u wud use code wizard (control +f7) to read the context attribute which is binded to input field
u press CONTROL + F7 and select the radio button read context node/attribute

Hi,
depending requirement of application we can use multiple components.
for example if we want to display table data into alv grid for that we can use the existing(standard component) ie: SALV_WD_TABLE .Like such a way we can use the components as per our requirements.
For importing components:
--> Go to properties tab of view of your web dynpro application
--> There you can find one button create controller usage ,click on it then import the components

ABAP Web Dynpro logon in GP

Hi,
In a GP I've added ABAP Web Dynpro components. They require a login to our ERP system to retrieve data. Is there any way to have them automatically logon to the ERP system so you don't have to enter credentials in the GP Runtime?

The portal is completely in shambles as it is, however sign-ons and etc. aren't necessary. I have all the permissions I need, and my logon should more than suffice to do anything as the portal is connected to the R3 and I'm on the same used I have there.
However, the GP Runtime asks my log/pw the first time. And only the first time ... So I'm assuming there's some setting for this?

ABAP Web Dynpro Radiobuttons Problem???

Hi,
I need to have 6 radiobuttons horizontally in ABAP Web Dynpro.
I got the radiobuttons on the web page,
What I have done is
For each radiobutton I have KeyToSelect binded to rb1, rb2, rb3, rb4, rb5 and rb6 (rb1, rb2, rb3, rb4, br5 and rb6 are boolean)
For each radiobutton I have SelectedKey binded to group1 where group 1 is again boolean.
My problem is if I select the 2nd radiobutton, all the others buttons gets checked, except that radio button and if I try clicking it for the second time then it is fine.
Please let me know where I am going wrong or is it that I am missing something else to do.

Hi,
Try to use radiobutton group by index UI element. Have a node in the context element with cardinality 0..n and have an attribute text type string. In the properties of the node provide the supply function as "fill_the_node". Bind this node to the radiobuttongroupbyindex UI element.
In the fill_the_node method.
data : node type ref to if_wd_context_node,
elem type ref to if_wd_context_element.
data : it type table of if_view=>element_node,
wa like line of it.
wa-text = 'radiobutton1'.
append wa to it.
wa-text = 'radiobutton2'.
append wa to it.
wa-text = 'radiobutton3'.
append wa to it.
wa-text = 'radiobutton4'.
append wa to it.
wa-text = 'radiobutton5'.
append wa to it.
wa-text = 'radiobutton6'.
append wa to it.
node->bind_table( it ).
In this way you can have 6 radiobuttons on the browser.

Adding an ABAP Web Dynpro application to a Java Web Dynpro screen

Hey fellow SAPers
This is an interesting one .........
We have developed a bespoke ABAP Web Dynpro screen that we want to include into a tabstrip in a Java Web Wynpro application. We have managed to do this by inserting an iFrame into the tabstrip, and then passing the UWL of the ABAP Web Dynpro app. This works. However, life is never that easy and of course whenever the screen is refreshed, the ABAP WD app is called again and so any changes to the data on the ABAP screen are lost as the data in the ABAP app is re-selected and the data returns to it's original state.
Does anyone know:
- of another way to incorporate an ABAP WD screen into a Java WD screen (as a tabstrip)
- how to de-activate a Java view so that the view containing the ABAP WD app is refreshed (i.e. the window is refreshed), the view is not refreshed and the ABAP app is not re-called .....
- any other ideas ....
of course, we could re-develop the same screen in Javam, but that would be too easy

I'm guessing you want to show this within the WDJ app not above, below to the left, right...
This is a very very difficult thing to do - I'm guessing that you are not actively passing data into the URL of the WDJ IFrame, but just have "decorated" the WDJ app with the a statically linked IFrame. In this case the only thing you have to tie the two together is the user id that you are using - and potentially the time the app was launched. You could in theory use a shared memory area (watch out for multi app server environments) to store the state of the app in case it got refreshed... but this is not a simple thing to do...
Consider if it is absolutely necessary to enhance the WDJ in place - hopefully you can just replace it with a WDA when you install EhP5

Database table in Web dynpro

I am trying to use a database table in Web Dynpro. For this, o already created and deployed a dictionary project and one database table in that project. In my web dynpro project when i am accessing this table columnname it works fine, but its not allowing to insert the data.It is giving following error:
The SQL statement "INSERT INTO "TMP_2" ("NAME") VALUES ( "ASDFGH") " contains the semantics error[s]: - 1:36 - the column >>ASDFGH<< is undefined in the current scope where NAME is my column name.
Also when i change some column name or add one more column to my table and then deploy it. After this, when i run my web dynpro project it doesn't show the updated column name and column count.
Please help.

Abap web dynpro and portal events

First off, a little introduction: My name is Martin Kroppen, I am an Abap developer for SAP Netherlands, and I am currently involved in a project for hospitals to built a portal. For this, I have created 2 Abap web-dynpros, and then impemented the views as iviews in an EP. What I want to achieve is that the input view triggers the display view on a second page, and the data is shown for the values in the input view (all in the same browser window).
I am using the portal integration manager for this, with the method for relative navigation.
The navigation is working fine, only problem is that I don't know how to handle the business parameters that I send over.
My questions are:
1. is this the correct way for navigating between abap webdynpro iviews in the portal?
2. what is the correct way to read the business parameters into my context of the second Abap WD application?
I tried the solution that is described below, I could not get it to work correctly.
If you define BUSINESS_PARAMETERS as application parameters in your Web
Dynpro application and the parameter names start with ″APP″, they will
automatically be forwarded to the startup plugs of the Web Dynpro application
provided they are marked as startup parameters. In this case, keep in mind that
the iView/page used as the navigation target must be assigned to the user role.
If it is not, navigation cannot be triggered.
