Errinfo, "no such file or directory" --- what file???

I've got a situation where I'm seeing hundreds of cp exec with "no such file or directory". I'm wondering what the best way to find out which file/path "cp" was initiating against so to rectify the problem or have the developer put in a fix to his/her application.
Sample output (this is a 120 second run):
errinfo -cn cp
EXEC SYSCALL ERR COUNT DESC
cp stat64 2 9 No such file or directory
cp open 2 10 No such file or directory
cp xstat 2 280 No such file or directory

I suppose that cp will check if the target exists before copying a file..
If you run
cp source destination
it will probably do 'stat' on 'destination', to ensure that the file doesn't exists before attempting the actually copy..

That is usually caused by Firefox not unpacking the extension.
You can try to set the Boolean pref extensions.alwaysUnpack to true on the about:config page.
To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website. 
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page. 
*Use the Filter bar at to top of the about:config page to locate a preference more easily.
*Preferences that have been modified show as bold (user set).
*Preferences can be reset to the default via the right-click context menu if they are user set
*Preferences can be changed via the right-click context menu: Modify (String or Integer) or Toggle (Boolean)

HT5559 says no such file or directory: what does this mean????

I have a program called powerteacher for work. After the new update, I am no longer able to access powerteacher on my mac. I tried to go through the steps on the site to go through the workaround but i am coming up with nothing and this message in the terminal: says no such file or directory. Please help me get powerteacher back online for my mac. I need it for work!

How do you delete a file which is listed with "ls -al" in Terminal,
but when you try to 'sudo rm' it, you get "no such file or directory"?
The file in question is a troublesome temporary Excel spreadsheet file--something like "~$TroublesomeFile.xlsx".
When I run "ls -al", it's listed with the flags "-rw-r--r--@".

If the file really starts with ~ then this is a "Magic" character to the shell. It says to look for your home directory.
If the file really has a $ in it, then this is a "Magic" character to the shell. It tells the shell to substitute the contents of variable TroublesomeFile in the command line. If the variable does not exist, then nothing is substituted for the variable name.
If you really have all these "Magic" characters in the file name, then protect it by using single quotes around the file name:
rm '~$TroublesomeFile.xlsx'
If that doesn't work, then please show the exact command used to try the 'rm'
AND please show the exact error message. Do not summarize.

File adapter validate file checking directory for files

We have requirement. There are 3 directories (Processing, Error and Archive)in the Source side.SAP PI need to pick up a file called "abc.txt" from the processing tab.
But there is a condition.
1. If "abc.txt" file exists in the "Error" directory then Not process the interface.
2. If there is no "abc.txt" file in the "Error" directory then validate the file "abc.txt" in the "Processing" directory. If the file is not according to the validation rule then move the "abc.txt" file to the "Error" directory and then stop the processing.
3. if the above two conditions are ok then move the "abc.txt" file to "archive" directory and send the file to PI.
Please help me to achive this requirement.

Is there any way to use the iTunes .itl file or .xml file to see what files I had previously to re-download songs?

I recently had to restore my computer and in the process of backing up my music library, half of my library from the letter 'm' onward was deleted.
I want to see if I could use the existing .itl file or .xml file that was automatically saved by iTunes in the iTunes folder previously (which I backed-up in my external drive) to view my past library.
I tried importing the library by going to File > Library > Import Playlist, but I got an error that said:
"Some of the songs in the "iTunes Music Library.xml" were not imported because they could not be found.
The .itl file was no help either in this case.
IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO?

How did you try to make use of the .itl file? Double-clicking on .itl files doesn't switch libraries but opens whatever is currently the default library. To switch between library files either press and hold down shift as you launch iTunes until prompted to choose or create a library, or swap out one library file with another as described in Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash.
There is also a link there to tips on recovering media from your device or account history. You may also be able to undelete media from the drive if the space it occupied has not yet been reused.

File will not save or 'save as' - error message is: "...could not be saved. No such file or directory." File has been save previously. Is this a preference issue or perhaps a permissions issue?

State #1 when the frontmost document was never saved :

New item : Revert Document… (disabled)
State #2 : when the frontmost document was saved at least once.
Save… is replaced by Save a Version
Duplicate is always here
Revert Document… is now enabled.

In Oracle Database, periodically we clean alertlog,trace files from bdump,udump,cdump directories and at AIX OS level, /usr/tmp, /var/tmp, /root,we clean .tmp,.log files. Similarly,what files needs to cleaned from Oracle Apps R12 directories periodically to control the harddisk usage?

Please be careful when following the steps in the note referenced above especially when cleaning the $ORACLE_HOME/lib directory, otherwise your instance will not function properly. I believe purging the log files at the application/database tiers is fair enough to reclaim space and should be done on periodic basis.

Receiving an error when trying to commit files using subversion in Dreamweaver: file or directory is out of date

I'm trying to use subversion in dreamweaver. I've followed the setup steps and tested the connection to the svn repository. All good. I've even updated some files before successfully. Now, I'm trying to commit changes made in my local working copy of several files to SVN. I'm receiving Error#160024: Commit Failed. File or directory <subject file name> is out of date; try updating resource out of date" I've tried right click->version control->update. Then commit again. Same error. Any help?
