Here is the problem description: - Created web services based off a universe using Qaaws - Created Xcelsius Model to consume above web services. - Export to PDF works fine. Web services fetch the right data and model is interactive. - Export to SWF / HTML produces 'Error # 2048' Please let me know if anyone has encountered this earlier. This seems to be an issue on the Flash side and not Xcelsius? Any methods to troubleshoot? Thanks!

The error messages shown from a running swf are from the Adobe Flash player.

Your problem seems to be a flash security issue.
SWFs running locally (directly from a useru2019s computer) have additional
restrictions imposed on them since version 8 of the Flash Player.
Xcelsius 2008 uses version 9. Also

stored SWF files that contain components that call content (e.g. images, XML
data, a child SWF) stored on the same local drive will receive an error,
unless the local drive has been listed as a trusted location in the Flash
Player security settings.
    This may also occur if you snapshot or export to a local format such as
PPT, HTML or Word and try to run the SWF file.
Set
Flash Player Security Settings to allow the local drive to be trusted. Also
see the Xcelsius 2008 Installer Release Note on Adobe Flash Player
Security.
    To enable trust:
    1.)    Go to
http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager04.html
    2.)    Select u201CAlways Allowu201D
    3.)    In the u201CAlways trust files in

How to use DPS features like Folio Overlays while exporting to SWF?

I'm creating an interactive magazine in InDesign, it's been decided that the magazine will be exported to SWF and uploaded to our company website for viewing by the public. I want things like slideshows and scrollabe text frames. I saw that InDesign had an update to include some DPS features like the Folio Overlays, so I applied a Slideshow overlay and a Scrollable Frame overlay but neither of them seem to work after I export to SWF. I still want to have slideshows and scrollable frames, how can I still have them while exporting to SWF?

DPS is for mobile devices through Adobe’s Digital Publishing Suite. The reason SWF is dead is because it’s pretty much incompatible with mobile devices. If you want to go to the web and keep things interactive you really need to be looking HTML5 / CSS3 type of websites. In5, which I mentioned in my earlier response will give you quite bit of help in going from InDesign to web, but I would strongly suggest you take a look at Muse if you’re not comfortable with HTML and CSS.

An error occured while exporting the slideshow

Exporting a 400 slide slideshow. After it churns for awhile and the progress bar is all done, I get an error box that says:
AN error occurred while exporting the slideshow.
The export fiel could not be saved.
My only option is to click okay. No more detailed information available.
1) One of my hard drives has 15 gig free and the other has 90 gig free
2) I have a Users Movies directory ...nothing is in it.
ANy suggestions?

Are you exporting by clicking the iDVD button in iPhoto? If so, try Share/Export to Full Quality Quicktime. It produces a video file that you can drag onto iDVD's menu area or import into iDVD. I've found it's a more stable way than making the jump directly from iPhoto to iDVD.

Which VS version did you use? I test it in my VS2013 version, it works well.
If you test the same project in other VS machine, how about the result? If it works well in other VS machine, we could make sure that it is not your project issue. Maybe you could create a simple app, test it again.
If all projects have the same issue, I doubt that it is your VS IDE issue.
Please make sure that you install the latest update package for your VS, like sp1 for VS2010, update 4 for VS2013 or other, of course, you would think about your current VS version.
Please also make sure that it is not your Excel issue, for example, please make sure that you could open an excel file in your windows.
You'd better run your VS in safe mode to make sure that it is not the VS add-ins or extension tools' issue.

Fix nonstop LR 1.1 errors "an error occured while exporting" and "an unknown error occured"

I downloaded Lightroom v1.1 & imported images. At least lightroom 1.1 could import images without crashing due to "out of meoory errors".
Then attempted to develop various images. It did not take long to start having major Lightroom 1.1 errors.
"An error occured while exporting", and no image created.
Or constant "an unknown error occured" while trying to view and develop.
Once again these RAW files can be viewed, and converted by Canon Digital Photo Professional & Adobe Photoshop. So the problme is the same old major flaws in Lighroom that make it unusable.
OK, I accept one fact. Lightroom is alpha or beta-ware and not in any way ready to be sold for public use.
Adobe suckered me for $199 for Lightroom. If Adobe will refund my money I will buy future Adobe products. If not, I am finished with Adobe.

With your attitude, I'm not surprised...if you want help, porvide the basics needed for troubleshooting-you know, OS, system version, what kind of files, what kind of HSs, where the images are being stored...otherwise, kindly buzz off. Getting Security Error# 2048 while working in Flash 11.2

Hi all,
Greetings to all. Well So i prepared a widget written in Action Script 3. Here are my system configurations:
OS: Windows 7
Flash: 11.2
Now when i make a SWF file and open it in my local host i can see the widget running with no problems.
But when i wrapp the SWF file/ Flash Widget in HTML and then try to run it in my local host it is giving me security error 2048. Below is the error i am getting:

After some googling and visiting some forums/websites on the internet i also included the following cross domain parameters in the root location of my source code:

Hi All,
I am able to find the root cause for this. For AS 3 classes,
while parsing the ABC code, every method body will be a set of
instructions in which each instruction will have an offset to it.
This offset will be useful to mark the target for branching
instructions like if, while etc.... Because, these instructions
contains targetoffset as a parameter to which the instruction has
to jump when the condition becomes true or false. The process what
i am doing is i do some code injection to replace the URLRequest
calls. The flash file in which i got this error, i did replace the
URLRequest call to my own method call and this code was being
wrapped up by an IF block. Because of the code injection, i need to
update the offset of the instructions with the difference offset
value. I did this, but i missed the jumpoffset parameter of the if
block wrapping my injected code which was the root cause. I did fix
this...

Error -108 while exporting video for Apple TV

Anyone have a clue why I would be getting at error -108 in QuickTime Pro while converting an MPEG-4 file to Apple TV format? I was just doing File/Export and selecting "Movie to Apple TV" as the export format.
I'm using QT Pro on Vista. The full error message is "Error -108: An unknown error has occured." It came up (probably) at the very end of the export. (The export seemed to running fine, and it was past 50% when I left to go out for awhile. The error was up on the screen when I came back.) The source video is about 2.5 GB, and should be a fairly normal MPEG-4 video, 30fps, 720x480. The error message itself isn't very helpful, obviously.

when I bought my ATV I compared ATV1 and ATV2 and the video performances are the same, infact I play my video in 1280x720 with my ATV but it is convert with toast.
I compared the same video in ATV (720p) and in mpeg 2 (1920x1080 25 Mb/sec) with my medley 4geek and the quality is the same.

Apple TV 1 will only play 720p movies at 24 or 25 fps up to 5 Mbps or 960 x 540 at 30 fps, the Apple TV will play video at all frame rates at 720p and around about double the data rate.
Are you sure your camera produces mpeg2 files. If so you might not see an awful lot of difference between the original and the converted videos because h264 is significantly more efficient than mpeg2, although I'd expect you to see some. If your files from your camera are actually h264 wrapped in an mpeg2 container then I'd expect you to see more difference.
another problem, is impossible to create a video .mpe2(fullhd) with imovie, for that I bought ATV.
I don't fully understand what you are asking here.
why toast convert correct to ATV and apple software no?
Possibly because when you are using toast you are choosing a datarate that is compatible with the Apple TV (ie 5 Mbps or less), whereas if you are using (for example) quicktime preset for the Apple TV, you might be making files that are compatible with the Apple TV 2 but not the Apple TV 2, but it's difficult to say without knowing what settings you are using.

OSStatus Error - 9459 while exporting slideshow from Aperture 3.0.1

While attempting to export a slideshow I get the message "Unable to Export Slideshow. The operation couldn't be completed. (OSStatus Error - 9459.)" This occurs when exporting to Apple TV or p720. Help please.

I received this error, when exporting the slideshow.
The slideshow took some time to export and the display on the Mac was set to sleep within the hour.
The display went to sleep and soon afterwards, I received the error.
If you have your display set to go to sleep then this could be one reason why you are receiving this error.
If not then I'm stumped for another answer.

Error(?) while exporting slideshow

Hi,
so while I was exporting a slideshow with about about 100 photos at 1080p (high def.) the bar that shows the progress stops moving when it is two thirds done and the preview thumbnail thing next to it goes pitch black and it stays that way. In the end I had to cancel the export and give up on the slideshow.
If anyone has any idea of why this is happening please tell me...
(at the same time i was monitoring my cpu and temp using istat pro. i'm not sure if dashboard was causing the problem but who knows?)

You need to use iDVD to make a disk that will play in a DVD player or other computer.
1 - open iDVD and select a theme.
2 - click on the "+" button and select Slideshow.

3 - open the slideshow window in iDVD and drag the movie file into it. (Do not move the movie from it's location on the hard drive till you've burned the DVD project to disk).

4 - finish up the iDVD project and save as a disc image: File->Save as Disk Image.
5 - mount the disk image and open DVD player and play. If the project plays OK in DVD Player the encoding was good.
6 - burn to disc with Disk Utility at the slowest speed available to assure the best burn quality. Always use top quality media: Verbatium, Maxell or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R are the most recommended in these forums.
Adding the movie to the slideshow rather than to the menu area will let you scale it to the TV save area like you can with still photos:

Acrobat 9.3 Pro shows "An internal error occurred" while exporting to JPG

I used Acrobat 9.3 Pro to export PDF to JPG, and it shown "An internal error occurred."

If the installation went ok and you are unable to launch Acrobat then this might be due to licensing issue.
Please check if you have full read/ write permissions to the following folders:
[Home]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/SLStore
[Home]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/SLCache
[Home]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/AdobePCD
You might also want to check in the root user account of Mac (Enabling and using the "root" user in Mac OS X - Apple Support)

hi friends.... I am trying to export a dump in oracle 10g but getting undermentioned error...
UDE-00008: operation generated ORACLE error 600
ORA-00600:internal error code, arguments:[17069],[0x0A0A5D5E8],[],[],[],[],[],[]
