Error after switching dimension ROLAP to MOLAP

Hi all,
I have a ROLAP dimensions that work well. Today I switched it to storage type MOLAP, because I want to implement it in Oracle OLAP. In the Data Object editor it is fine, and validation is successful.
However, when I use it in a mapping and validate the mapping, I get the message:
VLD-5008: The dimension D_DIM_BUDGET_TYPE_M has been rebound since the operator D_DIM_BUDGET_TYPE_M has been synchronized.
Synchronizing doesn't help. I think there are some ROLAP properties 'stuck' on the MOLAP object definition and I can see happening that I will have to create this MOLAP dimensions by hand. (If it was only this one, that would be fine, but I have a bunch...)
We use Oracle 10.2.0.3 on Linux.
Can anybody give me feedback on this?

Hi all,
It looks like I found the cause and solution in a last attempt to find the source of this problem.
Since the message used the word 'rebound' I thought of the ROLAP dimension which was bound to a relational table. That binding was still in effect.
After opening the MOLAP dimension in the Object Editor again and choosing Object - Unbind, the effect was undone and the dimension is now usable in the mapping!
Apologies for the unnecessary thread, but maybe it helps and saves someone time in future, when searching for the same error.

Error upon error after switching from VS Express to VS Community

Hello,
I recently uninstalled VS Express and installed VS Community. I'm making a WP 8.1 app using WinRT. After opening the app which I was working on in Express before I uninstalled it, and debugging it to my device I get the error
The project needs to be deployed before it can be started.
Verify the project is selected to be deployed in the Solution Configuration Manager, or deploy it explicitly by clicking one of the Deploy commands in the Build menu.
So I checked the Build > Configuration Manager and sure enough, the WP project is checked to be built and deployed in Debug. So I tried Build > Deploy, but that got me a new errors, saying:
The type or namespace name 'Phone' does not exist in the namespace 'Windows' (are you missing an assembly reference?)
The type or namespace name 'BackPressedEventArgs' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)
in App.xaml.cs
Online searches tell me to go to the object browser and add the Windows.winmd reference to my project.
This didn't fix it. I also tried adding Windows.winmd in the Reference manager, but I get the error
A reference to 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SDKs\Windows Phone\v8.1\Tools\MDILXAPCompile\WinMDs\Windows.winmd' could not be added. This component is already automatically referenced by the build system.
I tried unloading and reloading the WP project and Shared without success. When I try to debug the app on my device again, the "The project needs to be deployed before it can be started." error persists, and I get an additional error in the
error list:
Error : DEP0500 : The folder "C:\Data\SharedData\PhoneTools\AppxLayouts\0fd49144-a889-4909-9748-2cb07127ed26VS.Debug_AnyCPU.Aria" could not be deleted.
Access to the path 'HelpPage.xbf' is denied.
I don't even know where the cause lies anymore: my reference assemblies or some debug folder on my phone which I can not access. What do I need to do to fix this?

Thanks for the advice. Other apps work fine, so it's just this app.
The app was removed somewhere along the line (during rebuilding or something?) so there's no way for me to remove it from the app list. Did a Clean build, making sure there were no files in the obj and bin directories, but that didn't solve the issue.
The two other erros about assembly references had to do with me thinking I was working in MyProject.WindowsPhone whereas I was in MyProject.Windows (oops!), so I figured that part out.
What remains is that when I go to deploy the app onto my device I still get error DEP0500, so I guess as you thought it has to do with that file getting stuck. Is there a way to manually browse to C:\Data\SharedData\PhoneTools\AppxLayouts and delete
that entire folder?

ITunes store errors after switching to new computer

I am in process of moving everything from one Mac to another. I'm doing it by hand so I don't carry along all the old cruft left behind by programs that I deleted long ago. I've done this before without problems, but this time iTunes is giving me some trouble.
I can log in to the Store and access my profile, and I can play music that is already in my library. But when I try to download updates to some of my iPhone apps, or an album I pre-ordered that is now ready for pickup, I get one of two messages:
We could not completely your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occurred (-4).
Could not purchase "". An unknown error occurred (3027).
Google has failed me completely on figuring out what those errors really are. Does anyone know how to fix this? I am assuming the problem is with me and that the store really isn't having issues today.

It turns out that the problem was that I had reached my limit of five authorized systems on my iTunes user, and had to de-authorize my old system and authorize the new one. The error message could be a lot more helpful....

Processing error when doing a drillthrough agianst a Rolap dimension, working with MOLAP

Hi,
I'm having a drillthrough dimension (fact) that i'm using for drillthrough scripts. One thing that I have come a cross is that I get processing errors when I run queries agianst a ROLAP dimension where as it works agianst the same dimension set
as MOLAP. This is kind of confusing me.
The error message i get is like this one:
Errors in the OLAP storage engine: The process operation ended because the number of errors encountered during processing reached the defined
limit of allowable errors for the operation.
Errors in the OLAP storage engine: An error occurred while the 'Journal NO' attribute of the 'GLFact' dimension from the 'XXX' database was being processed.

2. When switching over to MOLAP the processingtime takes about 30 min. How can i decrease this to a minimum?
This is all implemented in SSAS 2005.

I'm getting the exact same error when attempting to drill down on a rolap dimension associated to the cube. the cube is molap, but the dimension is rolap to reduce processing time (processing dimension using molap spike my 4 core processing to 100%
for 4 minutes due to all the select DISTINCT on the attributes (about 10)).
I too have seen the article about KeyDuplicate but I think this is a different issue. Anyone figure out the problem?

"Class Not Registered" after switching from 32-bit to 64-bit LabVIEW.

I recently upgraded LabVIEW 2012 from 32-bit to 64-bit. Now I'm getting an error that says "Class not Registered". It still works just fine with the 32-bit version.

Thank you Nathan and Sunshine. The problem is I didn't build the program - it came with the instrument. As far as I can tell this is what's going on: The vi's are replete with these activeX objects - all communication with the instruments is done through invoke and property nodes. After switching to 64-bit the very first sub vi has an error at the very first command (Err (-2147221164)). It's a reference (seemingly to a class but I actually have no idea what that means) passed to the "Open Automation Function". I'll attach a screen shot for the sake of overkill.

Bus/io errors after resume from suspend to ram

Something very strange happened today. When I woke my computer out of suspend today, the BIOS made a bad beep sound (once, high pitched, the error kind of), but booted anyways.
After starting up, I tried starting programs like sonata, gnome-mplayer, but both failed with either an "io error" or "bus error". Strangly, I also tested "df" an it worked.
That happened the first time, but I'm worried it's gonna happen again, because I have NO idea what could have failed.

I just put the system to sleep and woke it up again, no problem. I only notice that yesterday it took way longer than usual to go into sleep mode. Except for funky graphic patterns, all worked flawlessy now.
What could cause bus and io errors after wakeup?

Yes, im using systemd. I tried also downgrading xf86-video-intel to a version from some weeks ago, with no result.
PS: no difference between systemclt suspend or pm-suspend from comand line.ùù
PS2: I tried fluxbox session and there was no flickering, so it had to be something kde-session related, and I found it: it was the image pile xscreensaver, just switching to another one solved my problem.

Not sure if it's valid to have a dimension with 1 hierarchy and 1 level in that hierarchy. The hierarchy may have to have at least 2 levels. If you want the configuration of a dimension with 1 hierarchy and 1 level, CWM2 may want you to omit the hierarchy, thus creating the dimension with only 1 level.

How handle Add Media Failure Error: File Video Dimensions (Width/Height) Too Large?

I am a brand new user of Premiere Elements. I am using it for stop gap animation, bringing in digital still photos from my Nikon D3200. I just attempted to bring in the first set of photos from the SD card. I'm running Windows 7. After loading the photos, an "Add Media Failure" box came up with the message "Error: File Video Dimensions (width/height) too large". Is something wrong with the width and height of the photos and if so what do I need to do to make it work? There were 763 photos, but the message seems to refer to the height/width of each photo and not the total file size so to speak - right? During the import process, the program prompted us to bring the photos in as images and not as videos -- so that is what we selected. Thank you for any assistance.

That particualr error should be solved by adding the following parameter to your instance profile:
jstartup/vm/parameters = -XX:-ExtendedExceptionMessages

Some issues after switching from 686 to x86_64

Hi all,
after switching from i686 to x86_64 using this link I am now facing some minor issues with some packages. I already activated the multilib repository but some problems remain. I checked the binaries in /usr/bin for 32 bit executables as described in the above link and there are 177 "bad" binaries left. I thought all of these were not executable, but surprisingly wine was. Strange!
ffmpeg is another 32 bit executable and not runnable. So I tried to reinstall it, but that failed:

Can someone give me a hint, what's the best way to solve this problem?

I think the first issue you will run in to is that the interface for an old P4 hdd will probably not be the same as a new computer. Besides that, it will probably be vastly slower than what comes with a new computer. I think that is not the best idea.
The only wat to really "trasition" between two archtectures that I know of is to copy configuration files over and have pacman dump a list of explicitly installed packages from the main repos. Then use that information to reinstall all those packages.

Vlan database deleted after switch reload

Dear Team
I have an access switch (C2960S-48FPS-L) which is running on version (universalk9-mz.122-55.SE5).
This switch was running on VTP client mode and connected to distribution switch running on VTP client mode and vtp version 3, due to power failure the switch got reloaded and after reload it came to VTP server mode and all the vlans were deleted, but the SVI of the vlan and all other config was still there.
I noticesd the same behavior with other switches of model (C2960S-48FPS-L & WS-C3560X-48PF-L) running on the following IOS
1) 12.2(55)SE'X' (here X means, it could be SE3,SE4,SE5etc)
2) 12.2)58SE'X' (here X means, it could be SE3,SE4, SE5 etc)
3) 15.0(2)SE (here X means, it could be SE3,SE4, SE5 etc)
I also noticed the following error during switch reload.
"%SW_VLAN-4-BAD_VLAN_CONFIGURATION_FILE: VLAN configuration file contained incorrect verification word:[hex]."
The issue is intermittent means the same switch will not have issue sometime after reload but sometime it will have this issue.
Anybody have any idea, is this bug causing this issue or something else.

Apps stop syncing after switching to a new pc

After switching to a new pc, I have complete the "transfer all my purchases from iphone", the sync finishes without error messages, the music/books get sync'ed but my app updates etc are not syncing even with manual sync. I know I can probably solve this by completely backup+restore my iphone, but is there any other way? thx.

Try deauthorising your PC and authorise it over again, this can sometimes clear a "not authorised" problem: About iTunes Music Store Authorisation and Deauthorisation
