Error at the end of a recovering through iTunes

hi folks,
I've got an iphone 3gs. yesterday, for no reason, after a call, the iPhone rebooted itself and would not stop rebooting itself until i manually turned it off.
I've tried to recover it through iTunes but at the end of the recovering, the following error appears : iphone "iphone" could not be restored error(-1).
First, I don't understand why the iPhone is not recognize. As you can imagine, the name of my iPhone is not "iphone" but iTunes as nammed it iphone.
Then, why the restore doesn't work ?
I cant find out what it means on the internet so i was wondering if you could help me i did the whole restart computer, change usb, try to do it in another computer but it still not recovering

Check the iTunes Playback preferences and see if the Crossfade Playback option is turned on. If it is, you can either uncheck it or alter the slider to a more pleasing setting.

I am getting the following error enf of the single node installation on OEL5.6(32-bit). I have installed the following RPMs

SYMCJIT.DLL error at the end of Installation in WL 5.1.0

I am using weblogic 5.1.0. I am getting error at the end of
installation saying
[Wlpasswdw has caused an error in SYMCJIT.DLL.Wlpasswdw will now close.
if you
continue to experiance problem,try restartng your computer .]
I am not able to run weblogic console, zac publisher, EJB deployer.
when i click
above application I am getting same DLL error.
I installed WL 5.1.0 on Windows 98SE in my machine. I got the same
problem.
But one of my freind installed WL 5.1.0 on windows 98. They are not
getting any problem
I uninstalled Jdk 1.3 at the time of installation but I am getting same
problem
Is there any problem in Symcjit.DLL & can i get copy of DLL for WL
5.1.0?
MY COMPUTER CONFIGURATION IS :
Windows ME , Pentium IV , 128 Mb

Hi.
Hard to say what the problem is. WIndows ME (or 98/95) is not a supported
platform - I recommend you switch to one of the platforms listed here:
http://edocs.bea.com/wls/platforms/index.html
Since this was the end of your installation you might try editing the
weblogic.properties file to create your system password
(weblogic.system.password=) and then try to run the server.
If this doesn't help then perhaps you can post the exception you get when
running the server here.

Did you type in a password for weblogic.system.password in the weblogic.properties
file?
What JDK version are you running?
FWIW, Windows ME is not a supported OS. You might have better luck using one of the

Is this an iLife installation disk or system install disk? In either case download the demo version of Pacifist and open the install package on the disk. Locate iPhoto and use Pacifist to install iPhoto. Then you'll need to apply the latest updater from the Apple Downloads webpage:
Apple - Support - Downloads. Just search for the iPhoto version you installed to get the updaters for that version.

The IMS installer currently hardcodes the path to a JRE that it wants to run. This JRE is the one that is included in the kit, so you <i>must</i> install the JRE that comes with it.
The only way around this is to use the embedded JRE during installation and not to set the JAVA_HOME environment variable. Check if you have it defined by issuing the command 'echo $JAVA_HOME'.

I don't think you can change the name of your computer but you can change the name of your itunes library.
iTunes Preference, General Overtype the Name in the Library Name Box,
Then your iTunes library will show the new name

You cannot return to previous state. The update re-locked the iPhone
to the original carrier. You must contact the original carrier to see if
they offer unlocking and if you qualify.
What does it say when you look at Settings=>General=>Carrier?
Be advised that if your iPhone had previously been hacked/modified/
jailbroken to work with other than original carrier, it may be impossible
for the original carrier to unlock it properly.

Be careful, when you connect the iPhone to your mac, unless you have saved the photos. Synced photos may easily be accidentally deleted by syncing again. And do not enable iCloud Photo Library (Beta), that will erase synced photos as well. Synced Photos are not included in the device backups.
Set your iTunes Preferences to "Devices > Prevent iPos, iPhones, iPads from syncing automatically". Otherwise iTunes may launch and sync your iPhone with an empty iPhoto library the moment you connect it.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to sync the synced photos back. Apple recommends to mail them back, but that would be a lot of clicking (iTunes: Syncing photos - Apple Support). You could also share them to a Shared Album, but a third party app like TD recommended, will be better.
