  • To view this content you must install java - ERROR

I DO have java!!!  I have JRE version 8.25 to be precise. So why, on startup do I always get this silly message which then goes on to tell me that I have version 7 installed.
I DONT - I have searched and deleted every **** trace of version 7 - and reinstalled version 8.25 everywhere - BUT STILL this stupid pop error up appears every time I restart! I wouldn't mind but its giving wrong info! So how do I fix it?

I had the same problem and it drove me crazy every time I turned on my Mac.  I found the proper download here:

  • Error building project using kXML2 - "Class loading error: Wrong name"

    Hi,
I'm testing the XML-Parser KXML2 and downloaded the latest package, but the minimal version (kxml2-min.zip). I put this file into the directory "%j2mewtk%\apps\KxmlTest\lib" and wrote the lines
    import org.kxml2.io.*;
    import org.xmlpull.v1.*;
When I try to build the project with the Wireless Toolkit (v1.04) it spits out the following error:
    Error preverifying class kxml2.io.KXmlParser
    Class loading error: Wrong name
    com.sun.kvem.ktools.ExecutionException: Preverifier returned 1
    Build failed
I also tried the full package "kxml2.zip" but the same error occurs.
How can I get rid of this? Thanks in advance!

Okay, finally worked it out (hopefully). I unpacked the archive to a directory (say "%J2MEWTK%\apps\KxmlTest\tmpclasses") and then preverified them "manually":
    %J2SDK%\bin\preverify.exe -classpath "%J2MEWTK%\apps\KxmlTest\tmpclasses";"%J2MEWTK%\lib\midpapi.zip" org.kxml2.io.KXmlParser
    %J2SDK%\bin\preverify.exe -classpath "%J2MEWTK%\apps\KxmlTest\tmpclasses";"%J2MEWTK%\lib\midpapi.zip" org.xmlpull.v1.XmlPullParser
    %J2SDK%\bin\preverify.exe -classpath "%J2MEWTK%\apps\KxmlTest\tmpclasses";"%J2MEWTK%\lib\midpapi.zip" org.xmlpull.v1.XmlPullParserException
Then I packed them again to a jar-file:
    %J2SDK%\bin\jar.exe -cvf kxml2-min.jar %J2MEWTK%\apps\KxmlTest\tmpclasses\output\.
    That was all!

  • KM Content Java Error

We migrated from EP6 SP2 P27 to NW04 SP9 and upgraded to SPS 12.  When we go to Content Admin --> KM Content, we get a java error: java.lang.NullPointerException at com.sapportals.wcm.repository.manager.taxonomy.TaxonomyRepositoryManager.getSupportedOptions(TaxonomyRepositoryManager.java:239)
The previous EP6 had indexes and TREX; however, TREX indexes are not migrated and they did not have Taxonomies.  But for some reason the error has to do with repository manager.
We have this in escalation, but support is not available until tomorrow and the customer needs to go live ASAP.
Anyone have ideas of how to rectify this error.  We have OSS Note 2009277 for reference.
    Leland

    Hi
redploying par com.sapportals.wcm.repository.manager.taxonomy.TaxonomyRepositoryManager and then again cleaning it and redploying it through pcd browser can help and do a search for the par file com.sapportals.wcm.repository.manager.taxonomy.TaxonomyRepositoryManager in usr directory and then redploy.

    Yshemi,
You do not have to explicitly point the server to a compiler. Its already in
the IDE classpath. Can you provide more information on the steps you
    followed.
You had stated that you had created a new workshop domain. Is this the
domain in which your are creating the new application ?
You can choose the server when you create the application or by editing the
    application properties.
    Can you verify this ?
Can you test the built in sample to check if it works fine ?
What is the operating system that you are working on ?
Can you try by creating a new empty application, and an ejb project and let
    me know the results ?

    Hi Guys,
I have created a workshop domain with the configuration wizard.
I am trying to build a simple EJB - stateless session, has one method
    that returns a string.
when I try to build I get the following :
"ERROR: ERROR: Error from ejbc: Compiler failed executable.exec
ERROR: ERROR: ejbc couldn't invoke compiler
    BUILD FAILED
ERROR: ERROR: Error from ejbc: Compiler failed executable.exec
ERROR: ERROR: ejbc couldn't invoke compiler
    Application Build had errors."
It seems like Workshop can't find the compiler.
I added "c:\bea81\jdk141_03\bin" to the application properties under
"server classpath additions" and still get the same error.
Does anyone know how I can point workshop to the compiler ?
    Thanks

  • Getting Java error when build and deploy through eclipse designer.

    hello,

Please let me know what is wrong here and why is it giving me that java error? It should be better in reporting error and give it in BPEL terms.

I switched my compiler to use Oracle's bundled jre but I still get following 2 errors -

  • Error:This page contains content of "application/x-java-applet" type. You do not have the plug-in required to view this content.

Hi....i m using Mac OS x 10.5.8 with safari Version 5.0.2 (5533.18.5). I just updated the Java version to Java 6 and now m getting below error:
This page contains content of “application/x-java-applet” type. You do not have the plug-in required to view this content.
Please help me out on this....

I am also having a problem with this. My website is hosted through "www.onlinepictureproof.com" and now that my laptop is back from repair with OS X 10.6.8 I am unable to upload my photos to my work website. It says "a plug-in is needed to display this content. Install plug-in" and then a window pops up that says "no suitable plug-ins were found".  Below that is "unknown plug-in (application/x-java-applet)" with a link to "manual install" which takes me to "http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/index-jsp-141438.html#download" which just leaves me lost. I've tried downloading the "JRE" but I have zero idea what that means or if Im downloading the proper thing. Once I click on the "download JRE" it brings me to a download page where there are WAY too many items for me to choose from to download, when I have no idea what I need or why I need it. please help, this is driving me insane. I actually preferred my constantly crashing laptop to the state its in now, "like brand new" back from apple repair...I have already updated everything that is promted through "Software Updates".
"OnlinePictureProof.com" only directs me to apple support.
Thank you for any help you can offer!

  • Error 10, Duplicate path on building with Linux App Builder

I have used both Mac and Windows App Builder 6.1 with the same files and not had this kind of problem. The VIs I am trying to build are very simple, see attachedd.
    Attachments:
    Analog_Out_Control.vi ‏91 KB

I've tried different kernels (the machines are P4 w/HT so the installer defauls to an smp kernel). Currently running linux 2.6.8-24.10-default #1 Wed Dec 22 11:54:27 UTC 2004 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux. I've tried various other smp and non-smp kernels.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled Labview, app builder and daqmxbase in various sequences. I've even reinstalled the entire Suse 9.2 OS and played with various grub and BIOS options. I've tried with the vanilla OS install and after applying the available patches through YaST.
I should point out that the app runs fine in Labview itself and compiles without errors on Windows.
There were no errors reported when installing Labview or daqmxbase and nothing in the system log.
I'm at a complete loss. The app builder fails every time, on different boxes, and it 100% reproducable.
I guess I'll give Mandriva 10 a try. In the meantime.... help! Message Edited by PaulSmith on 06-17-2005 11:52 AM

  • Error building my first EJB

I am trying to build my first EJB. However, everytime I giev the "ant build" command, I get an erro saying "Validation Problems Were Found". This is the only error i get and Not any syntax errors. Does this have something to do with my remote, local and Home interfaces, the Bean Class or Client, OR is it my build. xml file that has some error in it.

Looks like your ejb-jar.xml is not correct (check the element
<enterprise-beans>). You may post this file so that I can take a look at it.

Thanks for replying. Here is the build.xml file and the error output that
I get when I execute the ant command. My BEAN here is called

any pointer regarding the error. is it related to caching.
    thansk

yes you are correct. we have two EAR one for mobile and other for desktop both are configured for cache. we tried to disable coherence cache for mobile and it worked. now next step would be to keep different name.

  • Java.sql.SQLException: Error while trying to retrieve text for error ORA-24

    Hi All,
Am having serious problem with ORA-24327 and the behavior is very very unpredictable. I have couple of environment where the same error comes in different context. The recent one was surprising. I have describe bellow the environment configuration and the stack trace. The error which surprised me was when I use type 3 driver while starting weblogic I get ORA 24327 but when I use Type 4 it starts properly. If you could kindly provide solution it would be great help. I would also appreciate if u can provide information which driver to use where performance is the major concern. I would also appreciate if u could provide feed-back from the industry about booth the driver. Apart from that I have couple have environment where it occurs when 10/12 user access simultaneously. All the open connection is closed in program properly still am getting the error.
    Thanks in anticipation.
    Cheers,

    Hi,
I guess you can try some of these:
    - Make sure you're not missing an entry inside your tnsnames.ora file. Thin driver does not require the information inside that file, as opposed to Weblogic's OCI driver. If you are able to connect to the DB using a thin driver, then the problem is most probably (WL)driver-related.
    - Make sure you've properly configured the DB user / password inside your weblogic.properties (config.xml if WL6+).
    - Make sure you're able to access all drivers and classes required (PATH, CLASSPATH, etc...)
    - Make sure the OCI driver version you are using is fully compatible with the Oracle (server) version you are pointing to.
    - Try to access the DB user through some other client (for instance, SQLPlus*).
Hope this is of some help,
    Freddy.

  • Error building DC - Updated

    Error building a DC.
I have a DC named "ext_xl" which is of type "External Library".
I copied 3 Jar files:- Jexcel-install.jar, Jexcel.jar, jxl.jar into the library folder of this DC. Further I created two Public parts one for API and the other for SDA named:
    1. XL_API_PP
    2. XL_SDA_PP
    I built this DC "ext_xl".
I have a report DC (cdts_ab) and a selection screen DC (sel_ab). The selection component in the Selectionscreen DC is used in the report DC via Used DC.
When I add the above mentioned PP "XL_API_PP" to the Used DC part of "cdts_ab" and try to buid it, it gives me following error log:
