Error: cannot read: C:\Documents; and Settings\JR\Desktop\logrand.java

Thats the problem.
Bug started happening all the sudden.
Double click a java file on the desktop that just two second before was built fine. Go to build it and it says that.
"error: cannot read: C:\Documents; and Settings\JR\Desktop\logrand.java"
Now note this is a file in the IDE.
copy/paste/change file name/brand new file/turn off the computer. Everything on the desktop path says that same error message. Then i noted the semicolon in the middle of the path after documents. The compilier has misspelled the path name. Its open the file in the IDE but somehow the build step gets a path with a semicolon in the middle.
What do i do?

dont bother.
it felt like some sort of corruption so i just reinstalled netbeans and that did the trick.
I was still using 3.5 any way =)

If Windows cannot find then the path you referenced (C:\document and settings\pistolero\mymusic...) then it is gone.
Download and install iTunes again: http://www.apple.com/itunes/
Once iTunes is installed you can download your purchased music again. This assumes what you purchased is still available in the Store. Here is the procedure:
Launch iTunes.
Click on iTunes Store on the left
On the right you will see this
Sign in with your Apple ID, then click on "Purchased" (with the orange blob)
On the summary page that appears select the tab "Not on This Computer" on the right.
On the list that appears, select what you want and then click the "Download" button.

I'm getting the following Error while checking in original to Content Server
"Error while checking in and storing: C:\Documents and Settings\user\Desktop" Message 26253
OAC0, OACT, CSADMIN settings seems to be Ok .
Settings in DMS SPRO - in dc10, dc20(data carrier used PC)- everything fine
-Authorization issues are not there
Earlier checking in was possible with same settings, but now we are getting this error.
From my end i had test the RFC Connection (SAPFTP, SAPFTPA, SAPHTTP, SAPHTTPA) through SM59 and its test run was successful. So the possibilty of RFC Failure was ruled out.
I knew this problem was arised as there is some issue in Content Repository, but not able to trace it out.
If any one knew what to do in this case, then let me know.
Secondly, what are the things need to be checked to identify the content repository Checking in Issue.

I had only executed the below command
./dbmcli on SDB>db_execute SET LOG AUTO OVERWRITE ON
OK
seems like Log file was full. but now its working.

RH 8: Error: Cannot Read RHFrameStyleMappings.apj

We recently upgraded from RH7 to RH8. One of our project files (.xpj) would not open. After clicking Okay to Upgrade to RH8 I got a message "Error: Cannot Read RHFrameStyleMappings.apj". I decided to try copying RHFrameStyleMappings.apj from another project folder into the project folder of the project file that would not open. Then when trying to open the project file again I received this message "Error: Cannot Read RHFrameDoc.apj" and once again I copied it over from another file. I tried opening it again and it worked. I also tried generating the project to make sure it worked and it appears to work as normal. My question is if there is any reason my copying the two .apj files over could cause problems with the project file or if I should consider the problem fixed. Thanks!

Writing video to dodgy "Document and Settings" folder

Minor problem that I've come across when generating video using JMF:
On Windows, if the output location is in the users home directory, the video gets written to a copy of that directory with spaces replaced by % characters!
e.g.
C:\Documents and Settings\me\Desktop\Documents%20and%20Settings\meMy%20Documents\My%20Videos
The target URL is selected from a file chooser and looks fine before it's passed to the MediaLocator.

I ran into a glitch on my system that I tried to fix myself. My NOD32 was always showing the yellow warning circle as my protection status when I started my computer. I tried to fix this every way I new how.

I am not able to use Firefox with Sharepoint - I can only open a file in read-only mode and cannot checkout the document and edit.

I would like to use Firefox with Sharepoint.
However, I am only able to open a file in "read only" mode whch means I cannot edit the document and save it. I am also not able to "check-out" a document in Sharepoint and edit it at the same time.

This may not work for everyone, but I solved this problem by clicking on the file name in sharepoint, not the document icon to the left of the name. This then brought up the various options, including checking out, editing, version history etc. It seems obvious but I have only just realised this!

Hi Karthik,
There may be several factors contributing to this error.Some of these maybe:
-Storage category defined improperly/missing
-HTTP/FTP destination missing
-Incomplete Workstation application definition
-Incomplete Authorization
Please run through/search for each of these issues (discussed several times in the forum) and adopt corrective action wherever necessary.

Similar kind of issue occurred in one of our webdynpro applications of SAP NetWeaver Portal-
The error message "Error while checking in and storing" was returned by the BAPI while trying to replace documents in the DMS Server via portal.
But the documents were getting stored in the back end by the use of standard T-Codes.
Later it was found that ABAP tables COMPONENTS & COMPONENT_DATA are inconsistent by looking into the HTTP trace file.
The HTTP patch "http.c#21" was being used in our server.
SAP suggested the below mentioned steps-
-->Download the most recent SAPHTTP version & install it.
-->Then delete the RFC connections SAPHTTP & SAPHTTPA through T-Code SM59
-->Regenerate them again with report RSHTTP05
They were carried out in our ECC server & the issue was resolved.
Please try them out if applicable in your case & let us know.

At work, I was asked to exchange my PC for a new one (...) at a moment where I was completely stressed and hardly could find time to do things correctly ( I had big issues with some UNIX servers consuming all my time, and more...) I saved the content of my profile in (Documents and settings) from the XP pro OS. REinstalled Firefox, but cannot find a way to recover or use the content of Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox... [adobe 11.0.09 | windows XP] error when open pdf document and persistent error message even if adobe is closed

I encounter a problem on a windows XP laptop using acrobat 11.0.09.
When i try to open a .pdf document i get an windows error message.
The document open well else, but i get persistent windows error message then, and i get them even if i close this document.

I solve my problem :
1- chkdsk /f to test the disk => nothing particular
2- I use defraggler to defrag the harddrive ( was very fragmented)
I thing this two step doesn't change anything.
3- then i use Adobe Reader Acrobat Cleaner Tool and restart laptop
4- Reinstall Adobe Reader.
5- I just let reader11.0 folder in c:\program files\Adobe and delete other old reader folder.
6- did same in c:\documents and settings\%username%\application data\adobe\acrobat\

MDS-00521 - error while reading the document in Oracle ADF at Runtime

we are using Jdeveloper Version : Oracle JDeveloper 11g 11.1.1.5.0
we are getting below error message while opening the page at run time.
MDS-00521 : error while reading the document app1/screen1.jsff from metadata repository.
MDS-00569 : unable to read document app1/screen1.jsff from file "D:Oracle/Middleware11115_1/user_projects/domains/j2eeprd1/servers/app1j2eeprd1/.....
WEB-INF/Lib/ADFViewControllerapp1.jar!/app1/screen1.jsff
Note : we disable 1) Enable User Customizations and 2) Enable seeded customization in Project properties -> ADF View

This seems issue with MDS schema. You can try two things:
- Restart everything again (database and admin server as well)
- If above doesn't solve you problem. then there must problem while creating schema using RCU. Run RCU utility again, drop and recreate schema and reconfigure OIM.
This is what I suspect. Other experts can jump in with better solution.
