Hi
The error "client certificate required" reported by you has a clear cause - at least at the first sight: You do not deliver a client certificate with your SOAP request or it is not vaild/corrupted.

  • Logout from an "https client authentication (public key certificate)"

    Hi ,
    I am using an https client authentication (public key certificate) to login to my ADF faces website
    How can I logout form the application? It seems the session.invalidate() is not working because my login information is still displayed after running the logout method (below)
    Note that this logout method was working well with the Form-Based Authentication.
    Thank you
    Jamil
    public String logout() {
    ExternalContext ectx = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getExternalContext();
    HttpServletRequest request = (HttpServletRequest)ectx.getRequest();
    HttpServletResponse response = (HttpServletResponse)ectx.getResponse();

    session.invalidate();
    String temp = request.getContextPath() + "/adfAuthentication?logout=true&end_url=/faces/logout";

    FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().responseComplete();
    } catch (Exception ex) {

    Can you try with the null chk.. as this piece of code is working fine for us

  • Unexpected error during HTTP request to voucher server The operation timed out

    I read books from my library through a system called READS. I have successfully used DE 1.0 without any problems, however, when I tried to use it recently it required me to upgrade to 1.5. Well I did so and now the books won't authorize. Here is the error message I am getting:

    I have tried this multiple times with more than one book. Again, they worked just fine before I did the upgrade. I am running Vista SP1.

    Never mind, they obviously post the message on the ticket, but it doesn't send an e-mail. I will try what they indicated. Here is their response...

  • Problems with HTTP Client Authentication in jdev 10.1.2.17.84.

    Hi,
    I've told HTTP Client Authentication doesn't work in jdev 10.1.2.17.84. I need users to be authenticated using a certificate so I'm trying several workarounds but none seems to be valid. Any help?
    Thanks.
    Luis Serrano.

    been there done that.. ive decompiled the oc4j code, debuged down to the core... its big waste of my time... :(
    my advice to you is to leave it.. if you do not plan to use oracle ldap sso or xml provider you can do nothing... your hands are tied... they hardcoded everything and if you want more than classic "username & password" custom login module you will have to change oc4j...
    there is no point to make a custom loginmodule which utilize a client certificate because oracle JAZN do not suport that type of login module!
    just implement a login filter and manage authentication and authorization yourself... just like steve muench did in his java store demo - he didnt use JAZN... :)
    anyway current approach do not allow you to leverage JAAS in ADF model layer so why bother to have that in the view/controller layer anyway...
    and if i understood correctly oracle plans big changes in this area in the next jdeveloper release, and they alredy said that custom login modules would be depreciated in the next releases...

  • Https errors for when client authentication

    Hi all,
    I encountered the error when i configured the web server to require client authentication. Can anyone advise?
    [01/Jun/2006:15:41:08] failure (17048): HTTP3068: Error receiving request from 1
    0.60.20.126 (SSL_ERROR_NO_TRUSTED_LIBSSL_CLIENT_CA: the CA that signed the clien
    t certificate is not trusted locally)
    Regards
    Ken

    The message "the CA that signed the client certificate is not trusted locally" means that the CA that signed the client certificate (i.e. the cert that 10.60.20.126 sent to the server, here) is not trusted locally (i.e. by the web server).
    For SSL client auth the clients must have certs signed by some CA which is trusted by the web server. If the client has a cert issued by a known CA (like Verisign and others), those are trusted by default. I suspect here the client has a cert issued by some local CA. You need to import that CA's cert into the web server and mark it trusted.

  • Https Client Authentication

    i'm posting the data using HttpsURLConnection to IIS 5.0 web server. The code is working fine for server authentication. Now i want to enable the client authentication option in IIS. How do i send the client certificate from the Java program to the IIS web server

    There are 2 things you need to do:
    1. Turn on "Require client certificate" on IIS.
    2. Either use HttpsURLConnection or if you're using SSLSocket, you have to send at least 2 lines
    GET / HTTP/1.1
    Host: iis-server
    The Host HTTP header line is key.
    Without that line, IIS won't send CertificateRequest during SSL handshake.
    With that line, IIS force the client to connect again, on the second handshake, IIS send the CertificateRequest command correctly!

    Yes we have added the client certificate file (.pfx) in the Firefox browser Certificate manager / Store. It's also showing the certificate in the View Certificate window. We could not resolve it yet.

    Hi,
    Its showing inconsistency between ABAP Dictionary and the database.
    Have you run Test-Run before performing actual client copy ?
    Please check the Consistency of affected Tables.
    SE11 -> Display Table -> Utilities -> Database Object -> Check
    (check DB Object as well as Run time Object)
    Please refer this [SAP Note 686357 - Table pool length incorrect after Unicode conversion|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/686357] to get more information. The relevant solution is mentioned there if the pool tables having inconsistency with VARDATA field.
    Also refer SAP Note 1171306 - Error with pooled tables when copying a client.

    Thank & Regards,

    HI,
    You need to do the configuration in 260 of SAP system. Run transaction SXMB_ADM and then navigate as mention blow.
    Integration Engine Configuration  ---> Under Role of Business System enter "Application System".
    Under Corresponding Integ. Server, enter the rfc destination "dest://xxx" .
    To know the rfc destination, goto SM59 and check the connection type 'H', here you will find the RFC destination, just copy it from here.
    You can find all the info in this blog step no 2 under "Configuration Business system as local Integration Engine".
    How do you activate ABAP Proxies?

    First of thanks for gave me a Reply.
    (1) System.out.println("Object Retrived "+ctx.lookup("testtopic").toString()); this line is nothing just i wanted to check that program giving me a object or not .and output of this line is
    Object Retrived weblogic.jms.client.JMSConnectionFactory@1f66cff
    (2)Testtopic is not a object but it is JNDI name whichever i specified in webligic-ejb-jar.xml
    (3)i added this line System.out.print("Second output"+ctx.getClass().getName()); and i got this output:
    Second output javax.naming.InitialContext
    but still i m getting same error

  • Error during Client Export err:

    Dear Experts,
    We are on 4.7 EE, Oracle 10.2.0.4 and Windows 2003 (32 Bit with 2GB RAM) (QLY system)and our database size is close to 600 GB.
    I have successfully restored my PRD data to QLY and now my QLY is running fine with no hiccups.
    I wanted to do the same to my DEV(which was on 9.2.0.5 now upgraded to 10G) but things are not moving good as expected.
    I first tried a database backup/restore which was not successful, then i tried a system copy from QLY--> DEV but the system copy failed due to some memory issues. Finally i opted for a client export which also is failing.
    All i assume is that the QLY memory is not sufficient for these activities. I have also set the parameter recommendations for 10G based on the SAP Note: 830576.
    The following is the error during a client export

    When i searched based on the SQL error 4030 i had many replies suggesting to increase my pga and other memory related parameters.
    Can anyone suggest me the optimal parameter recommendations based on the size of my RAM(2GB) for my Oracle and SAP please.
    We are in the process of increasing it to 4GB very soon.
    Awaiting a helpful reply
    Thanks in advance
    Hunky

    If it is working on your QLY system, just use the same parameter set as there..
    Kind regards,
    Mark

  • Error With ABAP Client proxy

  • HTTP client code 400 reason ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED

    Hi
    when using an https receiver adapter in PI 7.11 I get the error message
    "HTTP client code 400 reason ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED".
    The server I am trying to connect to is running and I have activated all services under sap -> xi in SICF.
    The ICM log shows this:
    WARNING => Connection request from (38/18489/0) to host: https, service: 80 failed (NIEHOST_UNKNOWN)
    AP-T38, U18489, 001 ALE_K01, , 15:45:37, M0, W9,     , 1/0 [icxxconn.c 2222]
    On the PI Integration Server the outbound queue (smq1) is empty.
    However, the message seems to be sitting in the inbound tRFC queue (smq2)
    Function Module:  SXMS_ASYNC_EXEC
    Queue Name:  XBTO6___0002
    Status Text:  Transaction Recorded
    I also get the error message in the inbound tRFC queue:
    "XI Error ATTRIBUTE_CLIENT.PLAINHTTP_ADAPTER: Queue"
    It does not help to chose "save LUW" on the erroneous message in the queue.
    In the http receiver adapter I entered these values:
    Addressing Type: URL Address
    Target Host: https://biztalk.lm-gruppen.dk
    Service Number: 443
    Path: /******/BTSHTTPReceive.dll
    What should I do to make it work?
    Mikael

    Hi,
    In the http receiver adapter I entered these values:
    Addressing Type: URL Address
    Target Host: https://biztalk.lm-gruppen.dk
    Service Number: 443
    Path: /******/BTSHTTPReceive.dll
    If you want to enable HTTPs, you should use HTTP to RFC destination using SM59 (for the RFC destination) and STRUST (for the SSL authentication). Also, do not specify the http:// or https:// parameter in your target host. The correct parameters should be:
    Target Host: biztalk.lm-gruppen.dk
    Service Number: 443
    Path: /******/BTSHTTPReceive.dll
    hope this helps,
