Hi,
Probably this statement is giving you the error. What is the line number where you get the error.

SELECT current_pack

FROM nfpc.nfpc_current_pack_storage
WHERE item_number = r_cur_pack.item_number;Enclose the statement in the begin ..the select statement... exception.... end ; block and handle the exception.

Error executing SSIS packages from Agent
Hi All,
I designed SSIS package that loads data from Oracle table to SQl server table along with loading data into Diension and fact tables using SSIS packages only. First I created all SSIS packages that loads data into Staging tables from
Oracle table in next level loading data into Dimension table and final level is loading data into Fact table. At lasts I created One master package there I'm calling all packages (Execute package task) differently.
Configuration type: Parent package configuration for All child packages. XML config for parent package.
When I execute SSIS package from BIDS data is loading up to Fact table. When I execute SSIS packages through Sql server agent ( Using File System Deployment)When I execute SSIS package from Sql server agent it is throwing an error message like

Regards, PraveenHi Praveen,
The issue may occur if the SQL Server Agent Service Account or Proxy account doesn’t have sufficient permissions. Please create a SQL Server Agent Proxy account that has the permissions to execute the package and perform update operations on the SQL Server
fact tables.

*Error executing SSIS Package from BPC 5.1*
All -
I'm trying to execute a perfectly working SSIS package from BPC 5.1. When I execute the package it instantly completes executing (Failure) with nothin written to the Log file.
After doing further analysis, we have found the root cause to be "Sequence Containers" in SSIS Packages. We can execute the same package if we remove the sequence container.
When we try to edit the SSIS package via BPC, containing the Sequence Containers", we receive the following error:
[QuerytoServer] An error occurred while getting a package information. System.InvalidCastException: Unable to cast object of type 'Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Runtime.Sequence' to type 'Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Runtime.TaskHost' at Osoft.Services.Application.DataMgr.PackageExecute.DTSX.GetPackageInfor()
When we try to edit SSIS packages via BPC, containing NO Sequence Containers", everything is wonderful.
Does anyone have any suggestions, besides removing all of the Sequence Containers and moving the tasks to the base SSIS package level?
I trully appreciate any help you guys can provide.Hi Lars,
Could you be more specific the step you did?
1. It works fine in Visual Studio,
2. It is not working with Excel Front-end. Call the package from Excel.
3. It worked few days ago, ==> Do you mean it was working with #2 step?
I think this might be caused by authentication,
1. could you check your athentication you have for #1 and #2?
2. Did you introduce BPC DM to call the package? BPC DM uses impersonated ID even you use ID which has restrictive to use system resource, there will be no problem for the authentication.
3. As you see the log, it points FLOW task and OLEDB SOURCE, check your connection string in OLEDB SOURCE also.
Hope this helps,
Regards,

Error Executing Oracle Package/Procedure
I'm having trouble executing a procedure in a package of mine. I have a package in one schema I'm trying to execute it with a different ID (i.e. User1 in trying to execute a procedure in User2's Schema). The permissions look fine (Execute has been granted), but when I try to exec the procedure using "Schema.Package.Procedure" format, I get a "component 'PackageName' must be declared" error. If I create a Public Synonym for my package and exec my Procedure, dropping the Schema Prefix ("Package.Procedure"), it executes fine. To make things even more interesting, I recreated the packages in a third Schema and executedfine with the Schema prefix ("Schema.Package.Procedure").
The only difference (I see) between the two schemas is the use of an "underscore" in the name: (for example) Schema1 and Schema_Two. Put the package in Schema1 and it runs fine. Put it in Schema_Two and it errors when fully qualified with the Schema name.
Does Oracle have a problem running packages when the Owner Schema has an underscore in the name? Or am I missing some other potential problem(s)?
Thanks in advance...355099: I do have another copy of this procedure in another Schema. I'll try dropping that other version.
Mark: We have a schema for our data/logic and an ID we created for the web (so we don't access our data using our Schema Owner ID). The web ID is granted Select authority to Tables and Execute authority to Packages. We use this technique in other applications and it works fine. Those permissions have been set here but we still have the issue. I'll keep digging around. I'm sure it's something minor we are overlooking.
Thanks for you replies... -

I am not able to figure out the issue. Can any one help me in this regards.Hi;
You have to login https://support.oracle.com/CSP/ui/flash.html and you have to CSI account.
This site is oracle site for tech. documents for can rise SR etc.. for more details please check Re: Installing Oracle Database 10.2.0.4
you need to customer support identifier which is called CSI for can login metalink(https://support.oracle.com/CSP/ui/flash.html)
If you dont have metalink account there is no way to see that doc.
Pretty simple process:
1) You purchase a perpetual or term license from Oracle;
2) At the beginning of the period, during the valid term you purchase
Support for the period (1 year);
3) Oracle sends you the CSI.
Easy to do at http://store.oracle.com armed with a credit card.

I did run into a similar issue when we upgraded the oracle client and the provider started to decipher the metadata of the date columns. The SSIS metadata conversion for the date

That being said, often SSIS jobs require a proxy to be runnable and this is how you make one up

Getting Error while Execute SSIS Package from Console Application
Dear All,
SSIS package working fine directly.
I got following error while execute SSIS package from C# console application.
The connection "{79D920D4-9229-46CA-9018-235B711F04D9}" is not found. This error is thrown by Connections collection when the specific connection element is not found.

in the connection manager collection of "OLE DB Destination". Verify that a connection manager in the connection manager collection, Connections, has been created with that ID.
OLE DB Destination failed validation and returned error code 0xC004800B.
One or more component failed validation.
There were errors during task validation.
Code :

pkg = app.LoadPackage(@"D:\WORK\Package.dtsx", null);
Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Runtime.DTSExecResult results = pkg.Execute();
I have recreate the application with again new connection in SSIS.
Still not working, Please provide solution if any one have.

Are you sure that you are running the same package via .NET which works fine from Visual Studio?
By reading error message, I can say that you have copied OLEDB task from another package OR you have deleted one OLEDB connection manager. Now when package is run this task tries to use the connection manager and not found thus throws error message.
Open all OLEDB destination tasks and you find connection manager missing. Connection Manager name should be provided there

Error when executing a package
Hi Everyone,
I am executing a package that contains several interfaces, and I am running it in two environments: Development and production.
On the production environment, i do execute the pkg and it executes quite well, without warning, errors or what so ever.

You can drop the E$ table from the Development environment and it should run fine. -
Error with Project Parameters when executing the package with dtexec command
Hi,
We have started migrating our SSIS package from 2005 version to SSIS 2012. In SSIS 2005 we were using XML configuration files and executing the packages with dtexec command from the packages folder (without deploying packages to filesystem).
Now in SSIS 2012, we have seen Project Parameters and created couple of package parameters and used those parameters in the package. when executing this package from solution explorer it was working fine but when i try to execute the same package from command
line with Dtexec command, it was showing an error message of 'Not able to map Project Prameters to configurations'.
Could you please give me an idea of how to execute the packages from command line by using dtexex command. basically i would like use project parameters in 2012 similar to configurations?
Thanks,
Venu.Refer

you can pass parameter like this
/SET \Package.Variables[$Package::ParameterName];<value> /SET \Package.Variables[$Project::ParameterName];<value>

Getting Error while trying to execute SSIS package through sql agent
Hi,
I have created a package in SSIS 2008.
I have created sql Agent job which runs perfectly on my Pc.
I tried to create anew job on another pc which doesnot have SSIS.
When i tried to run the Job,
i am getting folowing error:
Executed as user: LT-MAGFIH$. tion. End Error DTExec: The package execution returned DTSER_FAILURE (1). Started: 8:51:31 PM Finished: 8:51:35 PM Elapsed: 4.024 seconds. The package execution failed. The step failed.
Please let me now how can i solve.Hi AjayChigurupati,
I would suggest you check you are install or use the dtexec utility correctly:
On a 64-bit computer, Integration Services installs a 64-bit version of the
dtexec utility (dtexec.exe). If you have to run certain packages in 32-bit mode, you will have to install the 32-bit version of the
dtexec utility. To install the 32-bit version of the
dtexec utility, you must select either Client Tools or Business Intelligence Development Studio during setup.
By default, a 64-bit computer that has both the 64-bit and 32-bit versions of an Integration Services command prompt utility installed will run the 32-bit version at the command prompt. The 32-bit version runs because the directory path for the 32-bit
version appears in the PATH environment variable before the directory path for the 64-bit version. (Typically, the 32-bit directory path is
<drive>:\Program Files(x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\100\DTS\Binn, while the 64-bit directory path is
<drive>:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\100\DTS\Binn.)

<a href="http://binaryworld.net/blogs"> Visit My Blog</a>Hi Nayan,
According to your description, the SSIS package works fine when you execute it with command line, when you execute it in SSDT, you got the error message: Unable to start program 'DTS'.
To troubleshoot the problem, I would suggest you to upgrade SSDT to latest patch. Please refer to the following steps:
Download and install the latest Microsoft SQL Server Service Pack.
Cumulative Update package SQL Server Service Pack.
Download and install Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Feature Pack 2.
For more information about Visual Studio 2010 Feature Packs, please refer to the following document:

If the problem remain unresolved, i would appreciate it if you could give us detailed information about the error, it will help us move more quickly toward a solution.
Thanks,
Wendy Fu
