Hi,
i am getting <Error> <HTTP> <BEA-101215> <Malformed Request "/picassoPortal/<img%20src=". Request parsing failed, Code: -1> when i am opening my application using IE6.
I was doing a browser compatibility part for my application and included some new CSS & java script files based on the browser type. But in case of IE6 its not picking up any of the css & java scripts and in my logs i see this error. Everything works fine except for the scripts and css that i have included.I am using weblogic portal 10.3 as my application server.

how have you included these files? if you do a view source , what do you get to see for the problematic image (and is the view source different in say ie8/ff?)

My servlet is a debug one that just prints echo parameters of the request. But
I think is not servlet business because the request does not reach to it, because

Check if there is white space in the url you are sending, it is one reason server can give malformed request error

A JVM_Bind error means that the port is already in use. This is an unusual error message to get because JDev scans the ports ahead of time to make sure they are free before launching the server.
Check if you have any processes running that might be holding port 8888. There might be a previous instance of the OC4J server running that hasn't released port 8888 yet. On Windows, at a command prompt, you can use "netstat -a" to see local ports that are in use.

I had to reinstall Adobe Digital Editions after a hardware failure. Now I get this message. I can't read any of my purchased PDF books. I hate Digital Editions. Hateithateithateit. Can't escape it however. Too bad there isn't a better alternative product out there.

Also it's worth checking your firewall isn't blocking visits to the activation server at http://adeactivate.adobe.com. If you can see a 'Welcome to Digital Editions' message then your firewall allows access.
There may also be more information in your firewall logs.

ACE sending malformed requests?

Hi,
Our ACE has several contexts, and in one of them we are seeing a single probe fail at random times, to a single particular rserver.
The logs of the ACE and the affected rserver at the same time are:

The strange thing is that it is always the same target rserver that reports this error. Naturally, I've asked the server admins to look at this rserver, but they've seen the 'client request' errors in their logs and are suggesting the ACE is at fault.
This rserver also hosts other IP addresses that are used in the same context in different serverfarms - and it behaves as normal without error....it is just this single destination IP that seems to have a problem. Other IPs in the same serverfarm are ok.
Are there any more in-depth checks that I can do at the ACE level to verify that all is OK with the ACE?
The probe is setup like:

request method get url /ping
expect status 200 200

I would like you to run sniffer on the Rserver and look into the HTTP Header of Probe request from ACE.
Check if the parameters expected by the RServer are in line with the http request used by ACE probe.
For example if RServer is expecting "www.xyz.com" as HOST then is ACE really using
"HOST:www.xyz.com" in the HTTP request header.

This is a very wide error. You did not provided any other info as specified by Michael. Just a wild guess, this sort of error occurs generally when classpath or java_home properties are not set correctly. But, as i said it is very wide, some more info will be useful.

I downloaded Blue Fire Reader and it requested an adobe id. I clicked on the link that was in the error message stated http//adeactivateadobe.com. Found out that if the date and time on my Ipad is wrong that it won't let me download a book. I was off 5 hours. I reset my clock settings and adobe id let me download a book from the library. I am back to using Overdrive and adobe again on my ipad.

I had the same error while trying to start the weblogic admin server for my IDM domain to allow me configure OIM server and OIM Design Console on my Window 7 box. What I did were the following steps.
1. I changed to the IDM domain bin directory <MiddlewareHome>\user_projects\domains\idm1_domain\bin
2. I ran the secureWeblogic.bat file as administrator
3. I ran the setDomainEnv.cmd file as administrator
4. I ran the setSOADomainEnv.cmd file as administrator
5. Started my weblogic admin server and it worked.

Azure Sql DB Export to Storage Container fails with "An error occurred while sending the request"

I've built a new VM from which I'm running PowerShell scripts to backup my databases. It had worked before on an old server for several months, and worked once on the new server, then I upgraded my Azure PowerShell cmdlets, and haven't been able to
get it to work again. The new version is 0.8.10.1.
Below is my source code, with sensitive stuff replaced with ?'s. When I display the $stctx and $dbctx, they seem to have reasonable values. I added the IP address of the server as an exception to the db firewall, and I've installed SQL Server
Mangement Studio and verified that I can connect to the database. I have a feeling there's something simple I've overlooked.

Mentioned script, with appropriate values, works on my system.
I'm able to export an Azure SQL database to blob storage. Am using version 0.8.10.1 of cmdlets, so this the same version mentioned in this problem description.
Can you please try using Add-AzureAccount and check if that helps. This is indicated in a different third-party blog.

Does it work from a different machine with newly downloaded credentials.
Does it work for a newly created database (so minimal database size).
If above do not work, we may require additional details like RequestID, StorageAccountName, ServerName so an MS ticket may be more appropriate.

If this is happening on an UPSTREAM server it is because you have approved updates that are no longer available from Microsoft. Almost always this involves approvals of *EXPIRED* updates (which have been pulled from the catalog and cannot be downloaded).
If this is happening on a DOWNSTREAM server it's because something/someone deleted the files from the upstream server. It can also happen if the entire upstream ~\WSUSContent folder has gone amuk.
For an upstream server, find the expired updates, remove the approvals, cancel the downloads, and then decline the updates.
For a downstream server, figure out what the affected updates are and fix the upstream server.

Error while creating Contractors using Request Template

Hi,
Logged in as "xelsysadm". I have created "Contractor Request Template".
Logged in as "ContractorAdministrator" for him "ContractorRole"(Request Administrators) and "Contractor Authorization Policy"(create user) assigned.
When Contractor Administrator tries to create a contractor using "Contractor Request Template" getting the below errors...
oracle.iam.request.exception.AccessDeniedException: IAM-2050059:User OIMINTERNAL does not have access to create the request using Contractor Create User request template.

If you are not using Template level approval you must associate approval policy( for Request level and operational level). I suggest, you change it to Template level .

SharePoint List Error :[DataSource.Error] SharePoint: Request failed: The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error. (An error occurred while processing this request.)

When I connect to the SharePoint site that contains the lists I need to build my query from , Power Query enumerates the list and displays them in the tool. I can click on the system tables and view the records but any table
in the list I created returns this error.
I can connect fine with InfoPath

Hi Andrew. In order for us diagnose this issue, you'll need to capture some network traces using a tool such as Fiddler and share them by sending a Frown.
To capture a trace using Fiddler, start Fiddler, enable the Tools > Fiddler Options > HTTPS > Decrypt HTTPS traffic option, start the capture, reproduce your issue, then stop and save the capture. You can find more information here.
Once you've done that, please send a Frown through the Power Query ribbon and attach the traces.

Redirection error An error occurred while processing your request in provider-hosted app which is hosted in Windows Azure

I developed one simple provider hosted app and I published it in my Azure website. I also published the SharePoint App of this solution in O365 site. I'm using Visual Studio 2013 Premium edition. I've followed all the steps to do this work e.g.
generate the client ID and client secret through my O365 site and updated the AppManifest.xml as well as web.config etc. In my AppWeb project, I've TokenHelper.cs and SharePoint.cs classes.
When I'm clicking the app from my O365 site, I get the following error "An error occurred while processing your request" which is due to the following code:

When I browse my Azure website http://sitename.azurewebsites.net, even there I'm getting this error. I believe that error is because there is no query string parameter there e.g. SPHostURL etc.
Please let me know why I'm having this redirection error.

For a better troubleshooting,
I suggest you do as the following:
Debug the code step by step to find the reason of the issue.
For the remote debug your app from Windows Azure, you need to download Azure SDK:
http://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/downloads/
After installing the SDK, it will have “Attach Debugger” for Azure web site, you
also need to set "Attach Debugger" to on in the Windows Azure Management Portal
