Error: Icon@2x.png is 114x114 but should be 57x57, Application Loader

Hi guys,
I get a couple of errors, http://i.imgur.com/KQIRX.jpg
The one I'm a bit confused about is the [email protected] image size.
If I look in the .app package that Flash Builder produces I see that there is an image file [email protected] and it is 114x114. If I open it with Photoshop then I can scale it down and I should work. But should Flash Builder not package this file in the correct size in the first place?
Anybody?

This is the iphone part:

Also, the file works fine when tested on the iphone, in high resolution.

  • Error when installing OpsMgr reporting (Attempted to add warning icon to item OMREPORTING but since this was as NONVITALFAILURE case, we added an Error icon instead.)

    Hi
    I have the following scenario:
    Two Management Server, the first
    Management Server has the following functions:
    - Management Server
    - Operations Console
    - Web Console
    My second Management Server has the following
    functions:
    - Management Server
    - Operations Console
    A SQL Server with the
    OperationsManager and OperationsManagerDW
    bases.
    My second Management Server, I installed the
    service report server SQL,
    created the foundation in my remote SQL
    Server (ReportServerOpsMgr and
    ReportServerOpsMgrTempDB). By adding the
    feature of Reporting Server
    it starts the installation process, but
    at a certain point it gives me the following error message
    in the Reporting Server log: Attempted
    to add warning icon to
    OMREPORTING item but since
    this was the NONVITALFAILURE
    case, we added an Error
    icon instead.
    Has anyone been through
    this problem and can help me?
    Thanks a lot!
    Wilsterman Fernandes

    Seems this is either a permissions issue or the it is a restriction configured for running external stored procedures
    I suggest you remove the Reporting portion from the server, then remove the Reporting Service completely. After doing this, reboot the SQL and Management server=>install Reporting again.

    I just updated my itune on my PC and now it doesn't start.  There was no error in installing/upgrading the software but once I rebut the computer the icon appeared but it wouldn't start the program. Did I loose all my music and data?  How can I fix the problem? Thanks

    Try this from MacFixIt as well:
    In the case of drive directory damage or problems with permissions, the solution is usually to use Apple's Disk Utility to repair the disk. Of course, you won't be able to perform this operation normally (simply launching the Disk Utility application, located in Applications/Utilities, and initiating a disk repair) if your system will not startup. So two options exist:
    * Insert your Mac OS X 10.4.x (Tiger) media (DVD or CD) and restart the computer while holding down the "C" key. Once the computer has booted from the installation disc, select "Utilities" from the menubar and open Disk Utility. Repair the disk, then quit Disk Utility and restart your system.
    * Alternatively, you can repair the disk while booted in single user mode if you do not have access to a retail Mac OS X 10.4.x (Tiger) DVD/CD. To startup in single user mode, hold down the "Command" and "S" keys simultaneously at startup. Once properly booted, type the command fsck at the prompt. Repeat these process until no errors appear.

  • [iphone] Application Loader icon error

    Hi again,
    Having got the app uploader now, attempting to upload our game it throws the following error:
    OurGame.app/icon.png: icon is not in the proper device format
    I can assure you it's a 57x57 72ppi 24 bit non-transparent png called icon.png, which is exactly how it's referenced in the info.plist. In fact, it's properties are identical to the icon for another of our apps that's already for sale on the App Store. The first app, we uploaded entirely using the web UI, not using the Application Uploader. This time, we went down the route of adding all the meta-data first (lots of translations) and are now attempting to upload the app. I guess the Uploader tool is more picky about the icon, but I can't see anything wrong with it.
    Can anyone offer any advice on tools to use (PC or Mac) to check the exact data in the PNG file and tell me what the options should be?
    Cheers,
    Steve

    I found the problem. Our build process is based around a set of ant scripts and makefiles, so it doesn't use XCode. We hadn't included the CompressResources step that XCode runs so the icon file wasn't being fiddled into the correct 'Apple' format.
    If you look at an icon.png in an application bundle created with XCode, you'll see it's not visible in the previewer. Examining the data looks like it's had a new chunk added, and the IDAT chunk has been byte swapped or something, probably to speed up loading on the iPhone.
    Once the icon file was processed properly (you could do the same with Default.png too, although I didn't) the build passed the Application Loader checks ok.
    Cheers,
    Steve

  • Error Icon Propagation

    When I have an error in my Actionscript, I get a nice red X
    next to the the line where the error occurred. Unfortunately,
    unlike in an Eclipse Java project, the file tab does not show an
    error icon, nor does the navigator. Can someone suggest how to
    enable this functionality?
    thanks
    PS. perhaps I am expecting more from flex in Eclipse, but as
    an Eclipse user for Java Programming, are many of the nice features
    not going to be present?

    Check to ensure that your propagation subscriber is correctly set up.
    select * from AQ$_<queue_table_name>_S;
    You should be able to detect the differences between your local and propagation subscribers.

  • Uncaught error java nullpoint exception, email icons disappeared, application loader unable to back up data, desktop manager unable to connect

    Model:  Curve 8900
    Provider: At&t
    Platform: 4.2.0.108
    I'm ready to throw this phone in the blender.... if I could only back up my data first. A couple of months ago the What's App application required an update. I updated it and ever since my phone has steadily had more and more issues. First, I kept getting this uncaught error message, shortly thereafter the 2 email accounts (both gmail) that I have linked to the account disappeared. The message icon shows that I have messages, but icons not there (I have tried the show all option). At one point the message icon started exponentially adding the number of messages until it got up to over 86,000. When I reboot the phone it goes back down and then steadily increases again... usually though it's more to 400 - 500 rather then tens of thousands. I have been trying to install updates and do a wipe of the BB so that I can start from scratch, unfortunately the application loader is unable to back up data. The desktop manager is unable to connect to the blackberry and indicates that an upgrade is required. I have tried doing the upgrade both directly from the phone and connected to the desktop manager, but nothing seems to work. If I try to upgrade the software directly from the BB, I get to the start download button and when I click, nothing happens. I have removed all applications except bberry app world and one game that I play, Pixelated Plus. Still nothing. Any ideas?

    Do you want to save the messages?
    If not (and I think they are the problem) open the Desktop Software > Device > Delete Data and click the "select Data" option. Select the Messages to remove. Complete the prompts and finish.
    Then, return to backup the entire device, and see if that is possible to complete this time with no messages.
    Now, once the back up is done and you have your data, you can disconnect the device.
    Now, use BBSAK to wipe the device and subsequently load the new operating system.
    **If you cannot complete the backup again above, you might have to do without it, OR you can use the Desktop Software to sync your Address book, calendar, memos and tasks to Outlook. OR, you can easily install and use BlackBerry Protect to backup your device over the air to RIM servers, then once wiped and the new OS reloaded, you can use Protect to restore the data back to the 8900. << This you should do regardless.

  • Icons in JAR are downloaded but doesn't show up in application

    I've tried following all the advice in the Deploying icons on the web guide, but there's just something not quite right.
    What goes right:
    From java console: "Downloading http://oiatst01.tdk.dk:7778/forms90images/kassimages.jar to JAR cache"
    And I can see the file in the Oracle Jar Cache. I can also type in the url and get the kassimages.jar file. It's there and it's accessible.
    That also means the virtual folder /forms90images/ works properly:
    Alias /forms90images/ "E:\KASSForms\gifer/"
    Registry.dat / default.dat has:
    default.icons.iconpath=/forms90images/
    default.icons.iconextension=gif
    In the HTML substitutions are made correctly:
    <PARAM NAME="imageBase" VALUE="codeBase">
    and
    <EMBED ....imageBase="codeBase" ...>
    formsweb.cfg has:
    archive_jini=f90all_jinit.jar,/forms90images/kassimages.jar
    archive_ie=f90all.cab,/forms90images/kassimages.jar
    archive=f90all.jar,/forms90images/kassimages.jar
    # 3) Values for the Forms applet parameters:
    serverURL=/forms90/l90servlet
    codebase=/forms90/java
    imageBase=codeBase
    Errors are:
    ORACLE_HOME/Apache/Apache/logs/error_log: "File does not exist: e:/kassforms/gifer/last.gif"
    It's as if it's not using the JAR file, and the tricky thing is that if I place the actual "last.gif" file inside the folder e:/kassforms... it shows up! Now, it isn't even supposed to do that as imagebase=codebase. It's not supposed to even LOOK at the files.

    If I change the line:
    codebase=/forms90/java
    to:
    codebase=/forms90images/
    Then my iAS stops working, and I guess it's because the other jars can't be found now (jinit for example). Maybe it uses the /forms90/java path for both. It kinda seems that I need a separate instruction that tells the imageBase parameter where to look in the file system. I don't know how to do that?!
    Maybe it's simply impossible to locate the image jar file anywhere else but in the standard directory where the other jars are located?

  • Application Loader detect my icon dimensions in error

    I've released many apps before using the iTunesConnect but this is my first time that i'm using Application Loader to upload a binary.
    When i try to upload the binary using the Application Loader then it gives me the following error:
    *iPhone/iPod Touch: Icon.png: icon dimensions (0 x 0) don't meet the size requirements. The icon file must be 57x57 pixels, in .png format*
    I've valid icon with png extension and its meta data gives me the proper information along with its size (57x57). Anyone facing the same issue? Thanks!

    I had the same problem. Application Loader really threw me for a loop since this problem only reared its ugly head when I was trying to update my app already in The Store. But then I had the same problem with my new app that I was uploading for the first time.
    Anyway, problem solved. My solution: change the "icon file" key in the "your app"-info.plist file to "icon files" (plural). Then add a row for your 57x57 and 72x72 icon files. Application Loader accepted my zipped binary just fine after that.

  • Error icon shown after restarting

    I have upgraded my Mac Mini from Mavericks to Yosemite, the installation ran fine and the system started up into Yosemite without issues. However after restarting my machine, a white screen with an Apple logo appears with a progress bar below it, the progress bar will go up to about 35% and then show an error icon.
    How can I fix this? Unfortunately I did not make a backup of the OS nor do I use Time Machine.
    What are my options? Is there a way I can read through the logs to see what is failing to possibly try and fix it?

    Try actually opening message and clicking reply icon to respond rather than right clicking on message preview.  I have had same bug (which Apple should fix all the same), but have found that if you open the message as its own discreet window, then the "replied to" icon will appear.  Hope this is helpful

    I have sent application loader to Apple.
    But I have taken a email.
    Improper Advertising Identifier [IDFA] Usage. Your app contains the Advertising Identifier [IDFA] API but you have not indicated its usage on the Prepare for Upload page in iTunes Connect.
    Though you are not required to fix the following issues, we wanted to make you aware of them:
    Missing recommended icon file - The bundle does not contain an app icon for iPhone / iPod Touch of exactly '120x120' pixels, in .png format for iOS versions >= 7.0.
    Missing recommended icon file - The bundle does not contain an app icon for iPad of exactly '152x152' pixels, in .png format for iOS versions >= 7.0.

It said LR would try and fix this error next time I opened it but the error remains. I tried uninstalled and installing the app and the error remains. I have windows 8. Can anyone please help???

    Use Windows Explorer to open the folder containing your catalog. The normal location is Pictures\Lightroom. Locate a folder with the extension .lrdata and delete that folder. Then you should be able to start Lightroom again, and Lightroom will begin building and new previews folder. Do not delete anything else.

    I believe it is indicating that the amount of zooming an cropping has stretched the image past it's native resolution and more importantly, past the point of quality printing and you may see aliasing in the printed images. I have not ordered a book yet, so cannot comment, but have one with specific images that I forced to have the warning icon to appear, just to see how bad it is.
    Try reducing the amount that you zoomed the image until the icon disappears.

    My Acrobat 8 Pro is failing to print to a pdf from multiple software.  I get an error message that a repair fixes but only for a little while.  Pretty soon the trial version of 9 that I installed pops up telling me it has expired but it would take me to a way to buy a valid serial number and then 8 stops working again.  I’d be happy if the 8 I paid for worked right or I could get 9 for a small cost but I cannot afford $450 or $20/month.  I need a permanent solution that I should be already paid for with 8 pro.

    After multiple repair procedures with reboot in AA8 I was eventually able to restore the printing to pdf function from various software.  However I have again lost my Acrobat tab in Outlook 2007.  I need that back, but today an even bigger problem arose.  AA8 has stopped printing to fax.  It faxes a blank page.  The only fax printing option is “Microsoft Shared Fax Driver”.  My fax software is “Windows Fax and Scan” and it was working fine just a couple weeks ago.  My OS is Windows 7 Professional.
    I have tried doing the updates you referred to but I get error messages like these:
    “No qualifying products found to apply this update, or update has been already applied”
    or
    “The upgrade patch cannot be installed by the Windows Installer service because the program to be upgraded may be missing , or the upgrade patch may update a different version of the program.  Verify that the program to be upgraded exists on your computer and that you have the correct upgrade patch.”
