Based on your error a few questions come to mind...
What does your Configuration XML file look like? It's root XML node should be xdb_app_map. Your error makes me think you may be pointing at an adapter file versus db schema mapping file.
Are you starting from one of the provided examples like OraApp1.xml? If you followed Step 3: the connector file copy instructions during deployment, you should find the samples in "OIM_home/xellerate/XLIntegrations/DBAppTables/xml/DB_Schema" Or you can search for OraApp1.xml or OraApp2.xml.
Have you configured your IT Resource with the appropriate path to the XML file? If you are on Unix it's going to be case sensitive, I can't speak for a windows path.
I hope this helps. I know I had a few challenges myself when I first took a swing at the DB Table Adapter from the 9.0.4.1 connector pack.

first of all, the online help system of grid control is outstanding. Just click on Help in the upper right corner and enter "Tablespace Extent Map" in the search form.

Show Tablespace Contents Page
Each Oracle database is divided into one or more logical units called tablespaces. You can use Oracle Enterprise Manager to manage these tablespaces and create or modify the parameters for the tablespaces. Use the Tablespace property sheet to set general and storage information for the specified tablespace.
Use the Show Tablespace Contents page to display the list of tablespace segments that comprise the existing tablespace. You can display Tablespace Extents by choosing Show Tablespace Extent Map at the bottom of the page. An extent is a logical unit of database storage space allocation made up of a number of contiguous data blocks. One or more extents in turn make up a segment. When the existing space in a segment is completely used, Oracle allocates a new extent for the segment.
You can view segment extents by clicking on the link in the Extents column to display the Extents in Segments page.
You can display the Show Tablespace Contents page by choosing Show Tablespace Contents from the command drop down list on the Tablespace property page, the Tablespace View page, or the Tablespace search results page.
Note: Developers could only display the tablespace map to a maximum hard coded number of 30,000 extents. Tablespaces are often larger than that. If a tablespace is larger than 30,000 extents, the portion over that is displayed as Unmapped. To avoid exceeding the memory capacity of the tablespace map and to display the map without unmapped extents, use a search criteria displaying results of less than 30K extents.

Problem using template in database configuration assistant Oracle 10g

Hi,
I created a database using the database configuration assistant for Oracle 10g on a Windows Server 2003 box. The database I created worked perfectly, and I had saved it as a template so I could save some time when creating similar databases (which I have to do on occasion)
When I try to use the template though, I get an error (at about 4% through the database creation) saying:
ORA-01501: CREATE DATABASE failed
ORA-09314: sltln: error translating logical name
I'm creating this new database on the same server as the one I created my previous database on and NOTHING has changed on it, I did this just minutes apart and can duplicate it at will (just try and use a template)

What is the version of grant alter table, drop table to user in Oracle 10g?

Oracle support "grant alter table and drop table" before, but I get the "invalid privilege" error in Oracle 10g. Oracle 10g have the "DROP ANY TABLE" and "Alter any table". Is these two means can drop and alter tables belonging to other users? How do I grant the total control (CRUD) of tables in the owner's schema to the owner in Oracle10g?

Backing Up Database Table and Records in Oracle 10g

I created database for my company with Oracle 10g Database Server and want to backup all my database tables and records within (i.e creating another username inside the data and transfer them) and outside (i.e transfering them in another destination outside the database server) the database. Could you please instruct me on how to achieve?

Your tables are always stored in Tablespaces, if you omit the tablespace clause in your create table statement, they will go to your default tablespace.
You can find this tablespace using
select default_tablespace from dba_users where username='your username';
using this tablespace name you can find out the datafiles of that tablespace using
select file_name from dba_data_files where tablespace_name='the tablespace_name from above';
Then you would know where your tables are stored.

You can run 10.2.0.4 on Windows 2003 x64 nicely and upgrade to Windows 2008. Since there is no "upgrade" (it is the highest version supported) there´s no need to do anything.
The question you have to ask is:
Why do you need Windows 2008? Is there any technical implication?

How to keep a table in memory in Oracle 10g

Hi !
For small tables wich are mostly accessed with full table scan you can use
ALTER TABLE <table_name> STORAGE (BUFFER_POOL KEEP);KEEP pool should be properly sized , setting will cause once the table is read oracle will avoid flushing it out from pool.

HTTP Authentification Error after upgrading CRM 4.0 to Oracle 10g

Hi all,
after upgrading our CRM 4.0 Server from Oracle 9i to 10g, it isn't possible to connect from a local PC via EP 7 to the PCUI applications.
[Browser running on local PC] -> [EP7] -> [CRM4 with Oracle 10g]
no authentification possible
[Browser running on local PC] -> [EP7] -> [CRM4 with Oracle 9i]
works fine.
[Browser running on local PC] -> [CRM4 with Oracle 10g]
works fine.
[Browser running on EP7 server(!)] -> [EP7] -> [CRM4 with Oracle 10g]
works fine.
It looks like a network security feature of Oracle 10g which blocks "man-in-the-middle" attacks?!?
Anyone any idea?!

Error during removinf Oracle streams configuration in oracle 10g

Hi,
When i am trying to remove stream comfiguration at capture side..it is giving me following error:
SQL> execute DBMS_STREAMS_ADM.REMOVE_STREAMS_CONFIGURATION();

Failed in checking n/wing configuration requirements--- oracle 10g

Hi
I got an error in the beginging of installation.It is failed in checking n/wing config requirements
The install has detected that the primary IP address of the system is DHCP-assigned.
Recommendation: Oracle supports installations on systems with DHCP-assigned IP addresses; However, before you can do this, you must configure the Microsoft LoopBack Adapter to be the primary network adapter on the system.
can any helpp with this
