Error in adding multiple attachments to Human Task in BPM

Hi
Hope you are doing fine.
My version is 11.1.1.5 without Feature Pack.
I have a scenario where I get a set of documents from UCM, and I have all of them in an array(of type GetFileByIDResult(UCM GetFile Webservice response type)).
Please note that for a single attachment, I'm not getting this problem.
I know that ExecData.Attachments[] takes array of Attachment types.
But I could not create an Attachments[](array type) type data object, What I could create is of type '<>Attachments' which I thought was an array, but not, as it is not letting me associate to ExecData.attachments
So, I've created a variable of type ExecData(say PDOExecData), used a script task, and did XSLT between the array and this new PDOExecData
I've used for-each on the arrayOfUCMOutput, mapped the content, name, etc.
And, now, in the human task association, I've assigned PDOExecData.attachments to Human Task's ExecData.attachments
But I'm getting the following error
XPath query string returns multiple nodes. The assign activity part and query bpmn:getDataObject('taskExecData2')/ns:attachment are returning multiple nodes. The assign activity part and query named in the error message returned multiple nodes. It should return single node. According to BPEL4WS specification 1.1 section 14.3, the assign activity part and query named in the error message should not return multiple nodes. Verify the part and xpath query named in the error message at line number -1 in the BPEL source.
This means htat attachments take a single element, but it should take array of elements, and that is what is showin in the mapper file indicated by attachments[] in the ExecData
Would you please help me in this regard.
One possible solution could be, if I'm able to create an array of 'Attachment' type, I could map to it and finally map this var to ExecData.attachments, but how to create an array of a type in BusinessObjects/ProcessDataObjects

Resolved!
Will write a blog and paste the link

  • Customization of Human tasks the BPM Worklist App with ADF App

    Hi All,
We are building a custom ADF application which aims to combine several business process human tasks to a unified interface.
And how to integrate the Human Task Flow BPM Worklist to my ADF App.
    Otherthan that
To the BPM Worklist App we want to do customizations also like
1.Want to customize to apply our own custom skins to customize banner logo, title to the BPM Human Task Flow App.......
2.And based on the logged in user/role we wanted to restrict the features of the Work List App.
Say for Example should not provide the Facility to Add New Page if the logged in user is not an Admin, like wise no provision to add or modify or delete the Worklist Views like that...
How to get control the App based on User/Role
Any help or pointers would be appreciated!
I have ADF Experience from projects Using JDeveloper 11.1.1.5.
But, for me this is the first BPM case.
    Renuka

    Hi Renuka,
There are basically two ways to create an ADF UI for a BPM Task:
    1. Generate it from the task
    2. Create a ADF Taskflow based on Human Workflow Task
Since I tell this by heart, I might be slightly wrong in the terms.
You probably want to try the second option. It is accessible from the "New Gallery". You'll have to provide the Human Task from the BPM project, but then you can build up the ADF Taskflow by your self, based on the customizations of the rest of your application.
Should not be rocket science for someone with ADF11g experience. Since it is not my dayly job, I need to figure it out every time again ;). But I did it in the past and it wasn't so hard.

  • Error authentication user in WCS about Human Tasks

    Hi All,
We developed a BPM workflow and 4 human task(HT) in ADF and using WCS for accessing the tasks of the human workflow.
We are working using the virtual machine soabpm-vm 11.1.1.6 ps5, downloaded by the Oracle Web Site.
I created a space in WCS, based on the BPM-Workspace templace present in the WCS.
I was able to execute the process and the HT without any problem.
I am adding security to all the 4 HT following the indication about ADF security, using the ADF wizard in jdeveloper.(see Oracle WebCenter 11g Handbook chapter 18, page 421)
    After implementing the following choices:
    1)ADF Authentication and Authorization
    2)HTTP Client Authentication
    3)No Automatict Grants
4)Either for WebPAge, Either for taskflow i have enabled the view privileges for viewing the page or executing the task flow.
    5) I linked the valid-users with a groups in my realm(AdmiServer)
I tested all the security implemented with BPM worspace application (https://hostname:7002/bpm/workspace)  and it is working correctly.
If i test it within webCenterSpace the HT are not working. When i click on the HT i got the following error:
    Error 401  Unauthorized
The request requires user authentication. The response MUST include a WWW-Authenticate header field (section 14.46) containing a challenge applicable to the requested resource. The client MAY repeat the request with a suitable Authorization header field (section 14.8). If the request already included Authorization credentials, then the 401 response indicates that authorization has been refused for those credentials. If the 401 response contains the same challenge as the prior response, and the user agent has already attempted authentication at least once, then the user SHOULD be presented the entity that was given in the response, since that entity MAY include relevant diagnostic information. HTTP access authentication is explained in section 11.
    This is what is happening:
I  logged in into WebCenterSpace with the user credentials (Username pwd). I am correctly authorized and identified.
I later click on the HT and the user is not propagate as the logs say that anonymous user try to access to the HT.
Why there is this different behavior between WCS and BPM worspace application?
Can i have same indication about what to do in order to get the HT working in the WCS?

    Hi Praveen,
To fix this issue, you need to change the Identity of your website's Application Pool to use the
NetworkService account (or the less secure LocalSystem account).  By default, IIS7 seems to set the Application Pools Identity to 'ApplicationPoolIdentity' instead of NetworkService or LocalSystem.
Here's a step-by-step guide for determining your websites Application Pool, then changing its Process Model Idenitty in IIS7:
1.Open Internet Information Services (IIS) Manger.
2.In the Connections sidebar, drill down into Default Web Site and click on your website.
3.Now in the Actions sidebar (on right side), click on Advance Settings... In the popup box, under General you will see your Application Pool listed for your website (in my case the app pool is: ASP.NET V4.0).
4.Click Cancel...  If you choose, you can change the Application Pool here, but for the sake of this example we just wanted to find out what the website's App Pool was.
Then change the app pool's (Process Model) Identity to 'NetworkService', the steps are showed as below:
1.Open Internet Information Services (IIS) Manger.
2.In the Connections sidebar, click on Application Pools.
3.Now right-click on theApplication Pool that your website is using (in this case my site is using the ASP.NET v4.0 application pool), and select Advanced Settings... from the menu.
4.In the Advanced Settings pop-up box, locate the Process Model -> Identity section and click on the Application Pool Identity.
5.In the Application Pool Identity pop-up box, change the Built-in account to NetworkService (or if you want LocalSystem), then click OK, and click OK again to save your Advanced Settings changes.
    Hope this helps.
    Best Regards,
    Peja

    Can anyone please help.

I would recommend reading this before posting here: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!msg/adf-methodology/PzncJBPMFDw/7mxNblt_ppYJ
You give far to little detail about the scenario.
Is it an OOTB taskflow that you extended. If so, which one and what parameter did you add + how did you do it.
How did you deploy to spaces
There are a lot of steps in that process that can go wrong so don't expect us to come up with an answer based upon this basic information.

  • How to specify stylesheet for attachments in Human task

    Dear Experts,
I can able to add an attachment from BPEL process to Human Task. So from Worklist I can able to download the attachment. Here, I am attaching an XML payload, and I am receiving .xml file from worklist. Now I want to do xsl mapping with my attachment. To do that we have an option when creating Human Task from BPEL . In .task form, under advanced settings--> specify style sheets for attachments, specify wordML for attchments. I have used those options. But not yet my .xsl file mapped with .xml. Is there is any other way to do xsl mapping. Please suggest me.
    Thanks,
    Rajesh

    Hi Anirudh,
I am using SOA Server suite 10.1.3.1 and JDeveloper 10g. Also I am not using "Application Server Developer's Guide for Microsoft Office Interoperability" this document, what you have mentioned in your last post. My problem is I am having xsl with me, need to map this xsl to my xml attachment. To do that we are having an option on .task form editor, Under Advanced Settings. We can mention/specify stylesheet for attachment, or we can specify wordML for attachment. I have tried both but I cant able to do xsl transformation. I have seen some code in this link. But I dont know whether this blog is correct one. Please suggest me.
    Thanks,
    Rajesh

  • Adding multiple attachments to Infopath form for Sharepoint Online

I don't get the option to add a repeating section into the infopath form to allow multiple attachment in the section.  I initially created the form from the sharepoint list and not from blank in infopath and then connecting to sharepoint.
Although i would be happy to get the multiple attachments in the same section i would prefer to add an attachment option to each part of the form.  Currently i would need to add 10 separate attachments.
Is there code available to do this in SharePoint designer 2013?  if yes, can you provide the code in need with instructions?
if there is another way to achieve this then please let me know.  thanks

    Hi,
Per my knowledge, IWConvertedForms library seems to contain references to all lists and libraries where the item template has been customized to use an InfoPath form.
    You can access it through
    https://sitename/IWConvertedForms/Forms/AllItems.aspx
However, there is no method to get the template link and download to edit the template.
You need to get both the XML file and the original InfoPath form template that was deployed to SharePoint.
For more information, you can refer to:
How to open an InfoPath form and template that were moved or copied

  • Adding multiple attachments

    Hi,
In the standard CRM web UI for sSolution Manager 7.1 SP08 it is not possible to add multiple attachments to a transaction (service request). Now a user has requested me to find out how much effort it would take to fulfil that requirement.
Did someone face this requirement before? And what was its solution?
    Kind regards, Rob Dielemans

I mean it is possible, but not in one go. you cant select a bunch of files and add it using the web ui interface, drag and drop is also not possible

  • Reusing Human Tasks across BPM Processes with different Data Objects

    Hi
    JDeveloper 11.1.1.6, WLS 10.3.6, SOA/BPM 11.1.1.6
I have defined 2 BPM Processes, P1 and P2, which has 2 different Process Data Objects O1 and O2.
But I am reusing the same Human Task in both the processes.
For the Human Task to support the activities in both the processes, I have added O1 and O2 Data Objects in the Human Task Definition.
And hence the ADF Taskflow / page generated out of the Human Task will have both the Data Objects O1 and O2 as payload objects in the Page.
When an instance of Process P1 is created, the payload O1 will have values, but O2 will be null.
And when an instance of Process P2 is created, the payload O2 will have values, but O1 will be null.
It works well like this, but I am a bit concerned about the performance from BPM Process and also ADF page.
In ADF page, let us say, somehow I can control the rendering of the attributes or creation of the iterator bindings based on identifying which process is being executed.
(By setting the iterator binding refresh property in page definition)
In this way attribute bindings for O1 will not be created when P2 is being executed.
But still when the Process instance is created, and when we see the payload structure of the human task in the EM - Audit Trail,
I still see both data objects O1 and O2 are created in the Payload, but O1 will have nulls in process P2.
So my question is, from performance point of view, is it advisable to define different Data Objects in reusable Human tasks ?
Or should I have to define a separate Human Task definition which contains only the Data Objects related to the process it is being called from ?
    Thanks for any help

    Martijn,
You are correct in your assessment that the JAG in the current JHeadstart release cannot cope with multiple bc4j packages. There is no work around for this. Upgrading to 9051 will not help.
In the JHeadstart-ADF release, this restriction has been lifted. You can place your EO, VO and AM objects in different packages, and you can group them in a separate project (Model project), while generating your JHeadstart application in a ViewController project.
We have a number of customers that use the latest JHeadstart-ADF builds to build their ADF apps. If you are interested in joining this beta program, please send an e-mail to [email protected]

  • Error when adding multiple source data stores in ODI Interface

I am trying to create an ODI Interface with couple of source tables and one target table. Say for example I am using the following data structure in my target table.
    Order (Target Table)
    order id
    product id
    customer id
    address id
    warehouse id
    shipment id
for the above target table i need to extract data from each of the following source tables.
    orderitem
    product
    customer
    address
    warehouse
    shipment
Total 6 source tables i need to join however and load data for target table.
When I drag source data stores in to ODI interface mapping tab It throws the following Null Pointer Error. Due to this error I am not able to map target table with all the source tables.
Please suggest me what could be the reason for the error.

    Hello,
does somebody have a solution for this issue?
I am new to ODI and have the same problem. I am using ODI Designer Standalone Edition Version 11.1.1.
Maybe there is something wrong with my configuration, maybe I am doing something wrong while creating the mapping graphically. It does not help to save and re-open the mapping. Also it does not help to re-reverse engineer the objects. Also it does not seem to have something to do with the number of objects joined (some objects seem to always cause this error, with some the error starts when there are 10 or more objects on the map before they are added).
One possible workaround i have found is to do it all on the quick-edit tab by one by one creating the joins and mappings (+source or lookup joins and filter mapping). It seems to work with my configuration, but drag&drop functionality on the mapping tab would sometimes be faster, more convenient and just more human like.

  • New Error in Adding Multiple Partner to Sales Order

    I get this error, "
Partner Function WE can only occur 1 times in procedure TA (Sales
    Document Header)"
When i try to add the Partner Function once again, Ssay etierh SHip-to, Payer, Foreign Destination e.tc.
I checked the group and got one from archive to check TPAR_STEIN ( Multiple occurence). that field is also blank for Partner function to allow multiple times.
    Still this error occurs.
    Your help is highly appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hi Ashwini
I donot understand the reason behind having multiple ship to parties on the sales order at header or line level. This does not make sense because the system will be unable to determine who the ship to is on the delivery.
Please provide the business reason for this if possible.
    Thanks

  • Integration of a WDA Chip as human task in bpm

    Hello experts,
I'm currently working with the new bpm. Everything is fine, as long as I use the same technology than I did within CE 7.2.
In 7.3 I want to integrate a WDA user interface using a WDA Chip. I followed the documentation (Netweaver 7.0 EHP2) for preparing my WDA Component and creating a fitting WDA Chip. Thanks to the doc, this steps were nice and easy.
My problem is, that I cannot consume the created WDA Chip as user interface within the NWDS. I can search for WDA Chips from the "select a UI component" popup and retrieve a list of chips. My created Chip doesn't show up in the result list though. I have to deselect the checkbox "Show supported components only" to see my chip. When I select it, the popup displays an error message : "Chipname is not supported because it must have exactly one inport (list of inports: [])".
Following the step-by-step instructions for creating wda chips my chip already has exactly one inport with an inport parameter. I can't figure out my problem in this case, since it seems the requirements to wda chips are met by my chip.
Did anyone else stumble across the problem? Any ideas to get over this?
I use the current NWDS version (Netweaver 7.3 SP3).
    Kind regards
    Helmut

Seems I figured it out, thanks to the SAP TechEd Document PMC203 "Creating SAP NetWeaver BPM Task
    UIs with Web Dynpro ABAP"
I hat to add the correct Tags to the inbound and outbound ports:
    - Tag for the Inbound port: CHIP_CONTRACT:PROCESS_STEP_START_POINT
    - Tag for the Outbound port(s): CHIP_CONTRACT:PROCESS_STEP_END_POINT
With the ports tagged, the Chip is correctly displayed in the NWDS.
Thanks to everyone who read this in the meantime.

  • How to approve the request only for one time for human task in BPM Worklist

    Hi All,
I'm having a requirement where i have made the hierarchy in the .task file where in created two users for which i need an approval in a hierarchical manner. But when i'm approving the request from worklist app for one user and the request is going sucessfully to the second user and if i approve it over there it once again coming to first user where i have approve it once again to get the request processed. how to get request processed only for one time when it is approved. Do we need to customize anything
If you did it can anybody can share thoughts on this please. Your help is highly appreciated.
I am not able to see the rejected request at all. where to see the rejected request.
    Regards,
    CH

    Hi,
Following are the some important points you should understand about ESS Leave Request Workflow
    1. The Visualization ( how should it appear in UWL and what should happen when you click on a particular workitem) is defined in SWFVISU. Check for TS12300097. Generally, it invokes com.sap.xss.hr.lea.appl/LeaveRequestApprover Java WebDynpro application. Just check whether you are able to get the correct Leave Processing application called when you execute your workitem from UWL?
    2. In general it should have option to process the leave request either approve/reject. When the leave request gets approved/rejected the status of the Leave Request document gets changed ( in workflow it is &REQ.STATUS&
    3. There is a need to schedule a background job for program RPTARQPOST which will pick up all the documents in APPROVED status and creates an absence record for the same.
    4. Apart from schedule job as mentioned above, you also have to schedule a background job for program  RPTARQEMAIL, which is basically used to send e-mails for all the documents which are yet to be approved to correct manager.
as you say , you can not see Approve/Reject options from UWL, it looks to me that correct javawebdynpro application is not being called for this task. Just check this !!
    Good Luck !!
    Regards
    Krishna Mohan

    BPM Project with PackageCreation.task
    ADF Project in Same Application
    I do:
    1. in Application Navigator right click on ADF Project -> New -> Web Tier -> JSF -> ADF Task Flow Based on a Human Task
in creation Dialog I choose PackageCreation.task and Don't change name of New TaskFlow (automatically JDeveloper set this name to PackageCreation_TaskFlow)
    I have After that:
new ADF Task Flow and my old PackageCreation.task.
    Question:
Why my Task don't bind to created ADF task Flow based on it?
I think, that while creating ADF Task Flow Based on a Human Task it has to change my task, writing some thing like This (inside xml):
    <taskFlowFileLocation>file:/D:/JDeveloper/mywork/SalesQuoteLab/EnterQuoteUILab/public_html/WEB-INF/EnterQuoteDetails_TaskFlow.xml</taskFlowFileLocation>
That xml element is creating in xml of *.task, while making auto-generation form for human task in BPM Project.

    Juan C,
    I use JDeveloper 11g Release 1.
May be I didn't explained my question correctly.
taskdetails1 is creating, and in Data Controls I have objects of my BPM Human Task Payload.
But in that file "PackageCreation.task" in source I can't find any link to instantly created TaskFlow.xml in my UI project.
    So, I have
NEW project "PackageCreationUI" with PackageCreation_TaskFlow.xml in it (and TaskDetails1 file too).
AND Did't Changed PackageCreation.task in BPM Project.
If I use *"BPM form creation wizard"*, after creating project and TaskFlow in it I see Changes in PackageCreation.task in BPM Project, something like that:
    <taskFlowFileLocation>file:/C:/JDeveloper/mywork/testApp/PackageCreationUI/public_html/WEB-INF/PackageCreation_TaskFlow.xml</taskFlowFileLocation>
