Error in apply process while indexing for table

Hi,
I have successfully implemented downstream capture-apply process from 11g to 11g.
But, my apply process is aborting due to following error:-
ORA-01435: user does not exist
for LCR Error:
alter index testuser.batchload_stat rebuild
How can i resolve this conflict or Is their a way to disable index rebuild in target database for given apply process?

Hi,
Unfortunately, I have no idea how you could disable index rebuilt. But, since testuser doesn't exist on your target database, why don't you exclude his schema from replication?

It hard to analyse the issue base on the limited information, Are there any error message on the log? Under C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSAS11.\OLAP\Log (this could be different for your server), there are 3 log files that are generated:
msmdrrv.log
FlightRecorderCurrent.trc
FightRecorderBack.trc
The msmdrrv.log simply points to the other two logs. There might be some detail information for this error. Please provide us the detail information about it, so that we can make further analysis.

This is a known problem with SQL Server 2000, see
Note 1180553 - Syntax error 170 during index creation on SQL 2000
I highly suggest upgrading to SQL Server 2005 or 2008.

Loading issue : Error: sql error in the database while accessing a table

where as one of the DTP in the process chain failed due to *Error: sql error in the database while accessing a table*, where as in the short dump it showing as Transaction log of data base is full., but i checked the data base space in DB02, more space is available . once we run the same DTP by manually its successful. its not through any errors.
could u please help me out solve the problem.

it might be a lock. do you drop index before loading?
the database might be full at the moment of loading and not later if many loadings happen at the same time on the same system...
when you then rerun your dtp manually, it can go through as it's perhaps the only one running at that moment...
you can try to set the btch parameter to 1...this will help in some cases.

We upgraded from DMIS 2011 SP04 to SP07. We are in development system.
To test initial load, we stopped replication for an existing table and then started replication for the same table.
Mass transfer id connects ECC system to BW on HANA system.
Replication errored with the following message:

Error when apply a new Index in tools - siebel 8.1

I created a new index in table S_INVOICE_ADJ. But when I tried to apply this i receive a error message:

Index out of bound is nothing but any of your fields exceeding the specified size limit.
Check properties for each field and alter the size limit and try once again.

Our Production Servers have a problem, when user input materials in t-code VA01, the check data take long time to complete.
I was create a incident on SAP Portal and they recommended to create a new index on table:
VBRP in the order MANDT, AUBEL and AUPOS.
but we don't sure how to do this, please help us !
The SAP consultant message:
" It was identified that there is one SQL statement which was
responsible for the majority of the time spent during the VA01
transaction. It accounted for around 49 seconds.
The SQL statement was analysed and a selectivity analysis was carried
out on certain fields specified in the WHERE clause. The statement is
currently executed via a full table scan which is not an efficient
access. It is therefore recommended to create a new index on table
VBRP in the order MANDT, AUBEL and AUPOS. "

Error during configuration process while installing obiee 11.1.1.7.0 in windows server 2012

I'm having an issue while installing obiee 11g(11.1.1.7.0) in windows server 2012 and using the database as ms sql server 2008. During configuration process after the installation process is completed , here the process is stopped at "Step:executing opmnctl start configuration_obisch1" status "failed"
Here is the error:

I tested also disabling antivirus on my PC and disconnect the power cord before starting the installation of JDeveloper. In both tests the result was the same.
Some additional recommendations to solve this case.

"update while typing" for tables?

Does anyone know a way to do this? There are no option for it and programmatically I can't do it.
- I can read the contents of the table
- I can see what cell the user is typing in
- I can detect a keydown? on the cell (so i know what the user pressed)
- I cannot see the current text cursor position in the cell ("|ab", "a|b" or "ab|")
- The table value does not update until the user stops editing the cell (clicks elsewhere, eg the 'SAVE' button, but whoah, that leaves me no overhead to validate data )
I made a post on the idea exchange (here) , but thought i would ask in here as well.
Any ideas are welcome

You can use a 2D array of string controls instead where the elements are set to update while typing. Seems to work just fine.
Use classic simple strings or frameless silver strings for that "table" look.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of creating addtional indexes for tables with massive amount of data (BSEG, BKPF, COEP, etc...).
If I create a new index it supposed to make the table access faster, for the cost of hard disk space.
Am I right?

Primary and secondary indexes
Index: Technical key of a database table.
Primary index: The primary index contains the key fields of the table and a pointer to the non-key fields of the table. The primary index is created automatically when the table is created in the database.
Secondary index: Additional indexes could be created considering the most frequently accessed dimensions of the table.
Structure of an Index
An index can be used to speed up the selection of data records from a table.
An index can be considered to be a copy of a database table reduced to certain fields. The data is stored in sorted form in this copy. This sorting permits fast access to the records of the table (for example using a binary search). Not all of the fields of the table are contained in the index. The index also contains a pointer from the index entry to the corresponding table entry to permit all the field contents to be read.
When creating indexes, please note that:
An index can only be used up to the last specified field in the selection! The fields which are specified in the WHERE clause for a large number of selections should be in the first position.
Only those fields whose values significantly restrict the amount of data are meaningful in an index.
When you change a data record of a table, you must adjust the index sorting. Tables whose contents are frequently changed therefore should not have too many indexes.
Make sure that the indexes on a table are as disjunctive as possible.
(That is they should contain as few fields in common as possible. If two indexes on a table have a large number of common fields, this could make it more difficult for the optimizer to choose the most selective index.)
Accessing tables using Indexes
The database optimizer decides which index on the table should be used by the database to access data records.
You must distinguish between the primary index and secondary indexes of a table. The primary index contains the key fields of the table. The primary index is automatically created in the database when the table is activated. If a large table is frequently accessed such that it is not possible to apply primary index sorting, you should create secondary indexes for the table.
The indexes on a table have a three-character index ID. '0' is reserved for the primary index. Customers can create their own indexes on SAP tables; their IDs must begin with Y or Z.
If the index fields have key function, i.e. they already uniquely identify each record of the table, an index can be called a unique index. This ensures that there are no duplicate index fields in the database.
When you define a secondary index in the ABAP Dictionary, you can specify whether it should be created on the database when it is activated. Some indexes only result in a gain in performance for certain database systems. You can therefore specify a list of database systems when you define an index. The index is then only created on the specified database systems when activated

How can I create index(uniqie index) for a existed table?

I want to create a index for a existed table, it should be unique index. I did it using se11, "indexes," and select the radio button "unqiue index", of course the fields as well. But when I activate it, I get a waring and therefore can not create this index. But if I select radio button "non-uniqe index", it works.
However I have to reate a unqiue index.
How can I do it?

You can create your index via SE11, enter the table name, click change, choose Go To, Indexes. Here create your index with the key fields that you want. To use the index, your select statement WHERE clause, you must have the key fields of the index in the order that they appear in the index. The "optimizer" will choose the index depending on your fields of the WHERE clause.
One thing to remember is that when you create indexes for tables, the update or insert of these tables may have a slower response then before, I for one have never seen a big problem as of yet.

Update One Table with three Apply Processes

I have One Database Target with three APPLY processes updating a same table. Each APPLY process refer to a Source Capture remote process.
But I am verifying there is no update in the table when change data on Sources Databases. This table has a PK with two columns.
