Error in Browser field of XML Form

Hi All,
We have recently upgraded our portal system from NW 7.00 (SP23) to NW 7.01 (SP09).
Post upgrade we are facing an issue in XML forms for file browser element.
On the XML forms we have an element u201Cfile browseru201D which we use for attaching documents as attachments in the XML forms.
After upgrade, when we select a document using this element u201Cfile browseru201D, the file path is getting uploaded in the field without the file name. Hence after saving the XML forms when we try to display it and open the attachment in the XML forms, it is giving the following error.
The folder you are looking for has no displayable content. You can try one of the following:
u2022 Access the folder using the Navigation user interface.
u2022 Access the folder as a Web folder. Your operating system and browser dictate whether or not this will work.
Example : Suppose we are attaching a file f1.xls in /documents/images folder, the path captured in the browser textbox is /documents/images (it should be /documents/images/f1.xls).
This was working fine before the upgrade to NW 7.01 SP09.
Our system is already running LIVE on production and we are facing major issues due to this problem. Kindly provide a solution at the earliest.

It was a bug .
SAP released two new patches
EPBC209P_10-10005895
SAPJTECHS09P_16-10005886
issue resolved after patch application.

Hi David,
Do not use "date of creation" and "SAP user" fields in "Edit" form. You don't need to add this fields to "Edit" page of your xml forms since they are available as Properties.
In the Project Browser go to
Expand Properties -> System item and you can see
"Created By" -> for Sap User and
"Created" -> for date
You can use lots of variables here in your RenderListItem and Show views.

Error after enabling lifetime on XML FORMS.

Hi all,
Ive created my article (XML FORMS) that was working fine. However, after add the lifetime properties (validfrom, validto) into the form, a message error Resource cannot be displayed with XMLResourceRenderer is showed when a new article is created. Does anyone know what could going wrong?

   In this folder, where you have created these xml files by mean form builder, do you have other kind of documents not created with form builder ?
   If you create other folder and then within it you create xml documents (form builder) after that display them using KM Navigation iview with a suitable layout set, do you have the same problem ?
   Have you tried to restart this server ?
   At last, you can enable debugging settings option in System Administration->System Configuration-KM-CM-User Interface-Settings-Advanced Options-Debuggings Options-edit and enter you user-id. After that refresh you browser.
   After that, when launch km navigation iview you are going to see a renderer link.

Error in news created in XML Form Builder

Dear Experts
I have created news in XML Form builder (three forms edit, rendered list and show). Created two iviews NewsExplorer and NewsBrowser.I have exposed these iviews for relevent users. Now the problem is the edit for and the show form of the XML news is not working for few users. While opening the edit form and show form for few users it is giving the below portal runtime message.
BEGINING OF ERROR MESSAGE----
Access denied (Object(s): com.sap.portal.system/security/sap.com/NetWeaver.KMC/low_safety/com.sap.km.cm/components/xmlformpreview).
END OF ERROR MESSAGE----

Keep getting script error chrome:/browser/content/tabbrowser.xml:537

I keep getting the error message that a script is not working. This is the script that is responsible.

I only get this message playing farmville on facebook.
I also notice that facebook will hang firefox quite easily.
I tried using IE8 with no problems at all. No hangs in farmville or while scrolling on my wall in facebook.

Manage UME field into xml form builder show view

Hi all,
is possible to manage all UME user fields into show XMLForm?
I find some problem to add user field on show view , like phone number, city, address,...
I can only manage the following field:
username,
First name,
e-mail

Hi Vincenzo/Enzo,
go to the Java API for UME here in SDN (AppSever/Java)and look for IUser or so... . The names used for the different user fields are shown (just see the get methods and compare what you have for firstname, lastname, email....)

That is not related to my issue.
Here this error only comming for two users in my group.
The environment every thing working for remaining user. But only that two users are facing the problem.
So please let me know is there any security issues.

XML Forms Builder: Sorting news based on a date field in a XML form

Hi Experts
I have a requirement and I am stuck up in finding a solution. I have a XML form and this has been mapped to a folder in KM. It publishes news. In the collection renderer settings there is an option to sort the news ascending or descending based on created/modified criteria.
The requirement is to sort the news based on a date field in XML form. Can you experts help me in getting the solution for same?
The users who post the news in our portal needs the information to be sorted based on a date field shown.

XML form and metadata property of a resource

Hi,
Is there any way to set custom metadata property of KM resource by entering it into input field of XML form?
Can we relate property of a KM resource to the field created in XML form?

XML Forms :   Set ' Valid from '& 'Valid to' dates.

Hi,
I have created two fields in xml form for time based publishing & used "Lifetime" property for it .
With this , for first field "Valid From" i can set default value as current date by use of $locDate.
i.e.      "Valid From" = current date ($locDate)
And for second field i.e. "Valid To" suggest me any solution to set default value as "current date + 7 days"
i.e.
           "Valid To" = current date + 7 days
If any body have any kind of solution on this, please provide.

I was thinking about editing the XSL-Stylesheet for the form but didn't find the appropiate code for adding X days to the current date.

XML form SPS13 error saving form with user field

Hello gurus!
After upgrading to SPS13 all XML Forms with imput field type 'user' produce error when saving data: incorrect user id. But I select user id from user list! ID can't be incorrect.

I am using EP 60 SPS13 Patch 3, have you installed this patch ?
You have to create a sibling node, for instance "usuario", don't forget to define it as user (data detail).
Then you add a browse object in your form, and change action property as user.
Then you establish a relation between usuario and your browse object.

XML Forms: Browser() Field?

I am creating an XML form and on this form I am trying to create a Browser Control which will open a folder I specify as the current one opens up the folder where the form is located.
Does anyone know how to do this? Is it done by altering the Schema Reference?

Hi Phil,
You can define a start folder for individual browser controls in the control property Start In. This setting overrides all other settings.
You can also specify a subfolder of %projectroot% dynamically in the iView properties and in browser controls.

Does anyone know how to get the size attribute of a text
input field to work in a coldfusion xml form?
Example: When I enter the following code and view the form in
a browser, all of the fields are the exact same size.
