Error in creating a Merge Document
Hello, I am creating a merge document and want to use a numbers doc for the data source. I created the numbers document and Saved it. Then created the pages doc. Went to inspector and choose the link, browsed to my numbers doc, selected it, then clicked open; I get an error that says:
Please select a numbers document that has one or more named header columns and one or more rows of data.
My only option is to click ok, which I do, then am bnack at using the address book for my data source.
What is wrong -- anybody?

Three most common errors:
. Field names not in the Header row (not just the top row, but the top row being a Header row).
. Table not being the first listed table for the Sheet in the Sheets Pane. It doesn't matter where the Table is on the Sheet, but if it's not the only Table on that sheet, it must be the First Table in the list for that sheet. You can drag the name to the top of the list.
. And finally, not Saving the Numbers file before Merging in Pages.

Creating a merge document in Pages 09
In trying to learn how Pages operates, I have been looking at creating a Merge document using my Contacts Book. So far so good.
I am trying to get a list of names and addresses so that a round robin can be created, but in selecting the necessary fields to use I find they are all in the American terminology! When creating an input into Contacts, it is showing the UK method, i.e County and Post Code etc. but not when I go to Inspector and try and insert the field. Is there a way of changing the standard field name in the drop down menu?

altvIt would appear that that hasn't been customised.
Apple apparently doesn't have enough cash in its kitty to do a lot of this basic stuff.
e.g. Apple has a so called "Australian" dictionary in Pages, that doesn't recognise Anzac amongst a host of Australian words. Why? Because it is nothing but the British dictionary relabelled.
Microsoft on the other hand…
If you want to ensure it looks right in Pages you can use the word Postcode in the text, select it:
Inspector > Link > Merge > Choose > Contacts Book > click on the + > call it Postcode > Link it to Work/Home ZIP

F110 Error in creating the payment document; read job

I am running a payment run for few vendors and I am getting this error "Error in creating the payment document; read job" I have checked all the vendor acconts involved, for any blocked data but nothing is blocked. Is there any thing else that I am missing. Pleas let me know.

To rectify ur problem u need to check follwing points...
1. doucuments types assogned in payment method in FBZP
2. In Ecc 6.0 u need to create document types and number ranges in N1 ledger, because new ledger is activated by system default in this version.
define document types in N1 ledger
path:Spro-FA-****-Documnet-document types-define doc.types in GL view
give ledger as N1 and enter.
define document types whoch u were assigned in payment method in country. for doucument types u can take reference as OBA7 tcode documnet types..
afetr that
define document N.ranges fro GL view
path:Spro-FA-****-Documnet-document N.ranges-doc. in GL view-define document N.ranges fro GL view
enter comany code and define number ranges for doc.types
afetr all above setting try once in F110. u will get result..

when i execute payment in Tcode F110, getting message " Error in creating the payment document; read job log".

Error in the recovery of constants

... payment not possible because of reported error
Because of it, the payment file is also not generated.
The status says " Payment run has been carried out".
But when the open items are cleared.
What could be the reason for this error message?

As the document is in the cleared status, you can try finding out with which run date and run id the documents got cleared. Go to Transaction code SE12 and give the following details - Company code, vendor code and the payment documents (clearing document for the invoice) or you can also give the invoice document numbers and fiscal year.
The output will tell you which payment run id and run date was used to process the payment.
Hope this will help you understand what has happened.

Please check material master - view 'Bases data 2'.
There is checkbox 'No link'. You can activate this checkbox if you are not storing any drawing/designe docuemnt for this material.
Try to do this and check out again.....

Create data merged document with data on every second page?
Is it possible to create a data merged document with the variable data only on every second page?
I have set up the pages with the variable data as a master page (on every odd page) with the text box and paragraph style all set up, and I have set 'override master page items' so the data can be placed, but InDesign seems to freeze up when I try to create the merged document?There should be no problem doing the merge with a two-page master and a two-page template document with fields only on one page (and off the top of my head there's no reason to move them off the master page if that's where you put them). I think the problem here is that rachrachm already has a file of 500 pages (based on another thread asking how to apply masters to every other page).
It's potentially possible to simply place the data file (without the header row) as a text file and auto-flow through the master page frames (can't say for sure without seeing the files), or if the pages without the merge fields are the same just, remove all but the first two pages from the template and do the merge.
As I metioned earlier, though, this is a very inefficient method of producing that sort of document. A true variable data print flow would be better (you'd need to find a commercial printer who can do it with your data file), or the home version would be to make one single page file for the static content, print 250 copies (plus a few extras, just in case), then make a single page merge template, do the merge, and print that on the back of the already printed pages, or as a separate page. It is immeasurably faster to print multiple copies of a document than it is to print a document that has multiple identical pages. -
When creating a merged document the images seem to lose their quality
When I create a merged document, the images on the master pages seem to lose their quality, any thoughts why? Is there anyway I can prevent this.

i had created excise invoice with BED as zero but when creating ARE-1 document i am getting an error as -
Export under bond! Specify a bond number and year
i tried to give the internal bond number and year in Bond/UT-1 Detail but there were no values for it , hence i also maintained the number ranges for object J_1IBOND, J_1ARE1.But still the error was not solved. Please help!!! Urgent

Diagnosis
The structure of the document data has changed in the meantime. Before new documents can be held or held documents can be processed, the documents held up to now must be converted.
Procedure
The conversion of the held documents is carried out by report RFTMPBLU. For larger data volumes (more than a couple of hundred held documents), the report should be planned as a batch job.
The conversion of held documents is generally supported for documents which were entered in release 1.3A or later.
A conversion of older held documents is not possible. You must delete these documents with the report RFTMPBLD. Afterwards, you must start the report RFTMPBLU to activate the version management for held documents.
If only small datasets are to be converted or deleted, you can carry out the action in another window and after completing the action, continue the current processing. -
User getting error when creating a new Document Library
The user is getting the following error when trying to create a new Document Library in SharePoint 2010:

According to your post, my understanding is that the user could not create a document library.
To narrow down whether the issue is related to the user permission, you can check which permission the user has.
You can also assign the user full control to check whether it works.
What’s more, did the issue occur in other sites? You can check with other sites or create a new site to check whether it works. Maybe the site has been corrupted.
To quickly and accurately find the issue, I recommend you can check the event log and ULS log to see if anything unexpected occurred.
For SharePoint 2010, by default, ULS log is at
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\LOGS
You can check the ULS log by the methods here:

Getting error while creating shipment cost document

agains shipment getting error Enter Cost Center. Where I should enter cost center and how can i make cost center value as a default.

On double clicking on the item level, respective item details of the material is displayed and then click SHIFT+ F6 to see the COSTCENTER in the shipement cost document.
Configuration:
1) In Item category configuration account assigment category is Cost Center.
Logistics Execution>Transportation>Shipment Costs>Shipment Cost Document>Shipment Cost Types and Item Categories-->Define item categories
2) In the Transaction code OKB9 Costcenter is assigned to the company code , in order to automate the determination of CO assignments in case of Shipment cost document creation

How do I create a merged document using information from Numbers?
I am new to using Mac and am trying to create a mail merged document. I do not seem to have the same options in my Inspector that are referenced in the tutorial I found online. Can anyone help?
That is because these are removed from Pages 5.
Pages 5 is a much cut down version from the previous Pages '09.
Pages 5 is designed to work better with the less featured iPad version.

Error when creating billing / accounting document with VF01
Hi All,
When I use VF01 to create an invoice with reference to a LF D/N, I got the following error after saving.
"An exchange rate type is not defined for country CN
Message no. FF 802". And billing document is created but with no accounting document.
I checked the exchange rate type is defined. but I can not find the place where I can assign to the specific country.

In FTXP, the tax code has been maintained.
And you are right, when I maintain the field KURST in table T005, it is ok. But I am confused in 4.6C, the field KURST can be maintained by T-code OY01, but in 470, exchange rate type cannot be found in OY01. Where can I set in 470? And why in 470, even field KURST is empty in table T005, but there is no such error when creating billing document?

If you are trying to use <b>Document doc = new Document()</b> then it is not possible cos Document is an interface. Instead use classes AbstractDocument or DefaultStyledDocument in package javax.swing.text or implement Document interface in your class.
use code like this

or
doc = new DefaultStyledDocument();
