I have an ipod touch and I am not able to use any money on my accounts because it is telling me the security code is wrong. Can anyone tell me what I can do?

I am not able to purchase any upgrades on my Ipod, music, movies, videos, or anything because it says my security code is invalid. I am not sure if I am using the wrong numbers or if there is something wrong with my account. I have tried to change my apple Id and my password.  Other times I am able to sign on to my Ipod with my user ID and password to do an update and it says there is a billing problem with a previous purchase. then you can tap continue and view further info, and when I do this it takes me to my account settings page with the info that I originally set up my Ipod with. I no longer have that same credit card and would like to remove it from account and update with a new one, but have not been sucessful in doing this by using my Ipod. Can I do this online somewhere? Can anyone help me out?

    Did you just update to BUGGY OS 4.x???
    All the updates starting with OS 4.x have completely screwed up most iPod Touch', especially older models like Gen 2 and 3.
    Inability to connect to any WiFi.
    Fluctuating WiFi signal no matter how close you are to the AP.
    Drastically shortened battery life, even when in sleep mode.
    And Apple hasn't done a **** thing since irritated owners have complained about it since the middle of 2011!!
    (I am one of many thousands affected!) Look at older threads by searches of "Fluctuating WiFi", Terrible Battery Life, for the Touch and iPhone.
    This is why I bought an Android tablet instead of an iFad this Xmas. Non-existant Apple support!

    Do you mean you are unable to install or sync Apps to your iPod?  Are you using at least iOS version 2.0 or later?

    Better yet, connect the iPod to your computer and restore it to factory settings, and then set it up as a new iPod.  Give it to your grandson and then download and install iTunes on a computer that he has access to.  When you install iTunes you can set him up with his own Apple ID, and you can set it up without using a credit card...

    One thing you might want to try to do is using different programs you have two iPod Touches so What you can do is download this program called Bearshare™ its pretty much the same thing but instead of things being apple its bear if you get what I'm talking about right?     You don't have a copy of it on your backup of your downloads and you've checked your computer's hard drive for it ? What you can re-download will show under the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes. If other films show there but not that one and it's still in your country's iTunes store then check to see if it's hidden : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919

    I was uploading music to my ipod touch 4th generation (I only use this ipod to stay docked all the time to my speackers)
    Since I updated my ipod touch to ios 6.1.6 it does not charge it only plays music but it does not charge why is this happening I think is a bug that has the ios 6.1.6 I dont have old speackers I brought them in 2012 they are the sony RDP-XF100ip, it allways worked fin and scince I updated it it does not work.
    I also have an old ipod nano and I thought that the dock burned but it did charged the ipod nano

    - Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
    Sometmes this works
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost      
    Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Reset all settings                 
    Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
    All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:                                               
    iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.                       
    Otherwise go to the dock manufacture's support site. Sometimes an iOS update breaks compatibility and you will have to wait for either an iOS update (very unlikely) or an update to the firmware on the dock

    The simplest way to improve it's performance by resetting all it's settings.
    Jus go to Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset All Settings
    You should see a considerable difference in it's performance.
    Also if you iPod is 3rd Gen or later, make sure you close all the apps from the multitasking bar by clicking the home button twice, holding on the icon of the apps shown below and tappng the button.
    Even if this doesn't solve your problem then you should restore your iPod by connecting to iTunes and hitting the restore button (Dont forget to create a backup by right clicking the iPod shown under the devices on the left side bar of iTunes, and clicking the Back Up button)

    Sometimes it says security code by it is the ZIP code. Sign into your account in the iTunes app on your computer and verify that all of the information is correct and agree to any new user agreements that may be needed.

    Shut down the computer.

    On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time.
    Release all the keys and the power button at the same time.
    Press the power button to turn on the computer.

  • I have written a little book on 'Pages' initially I was able to download it to friends, however, this facility is now not working. Can anyone tell me what I can do to resolve this. Please.

    I have just written a little book, on my iPad, using 'Pages' I was able to download it for proofreading, however, this facility has now ceased.  When I press 'send' it makes the 'rushing sound' but in fact does not download!
    Please will someone help, I am an old man, 82 years old, and need all the help I can get!

    Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
    Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
    Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10-15 seconds).
    No data will be lost.
