Error in endeca search module-bulk load error
i have added product-catalog-output-config.xml and category-dim-output-config.xml to my project in respective paths as in DCS...the XMLs are combining when i see them in dyn/admin.
but while running baseline index, pre-indexing is getting succeeded but RepositoryTypeDimensionExporter is failing and the errors showing in command prompt are these..

it is also saying that
"WARN [IndexingPeriodicService] No configuration registered for "/atg/endeca/index/commerce/CategoryToDimensionOutputConfig" so skipping check for incremental update." prior to indexing.

That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.

Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards? -

Error building project using kXML2 - "Class loading error: Wrong name"
Hi,
I'm testing the XML-Parser KXML2 and downloaded the latest package, but the minimal version (kxml2-min.zip). I put this file into the directory "%j2mewtk%\apps\KxmlTest\lib" and wrote the lines

When I try to build the project with the Wireless Toolkit (v1.04) it spits out the following error:

Class loading error: Wrong name

I also tried the full package "kxml2.zip" but the same error occurs.

is getting the Error Message Data shows 0 from 0 Records.
I was Remove the Key Field from ODS Then try to load the data but i am getting same Error..

I receive a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Error when I attempt to access the iTunes Store. Can someone please help me solve this problem.
Do you have any antivirus software? I've never seen this problem, but after reading some things about it, it's caused by earlier bad programming (not likely, since noone else is having the problem with iTunes), or a virus.
If you don't have antivirus, there are a few free ones, but I can't say I recommend them.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, or by corruption of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. Note: If FileVault is enabled on some models, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain iMacs. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. Test while in safe mode. Same problem? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test. -
Hello,
i'm trying to bulk insert data into planning and i get an error. As i can understand it seems related to some bad settings regarding decimal separator. I'm from italy where default decimal separator is ",". As far as i can check everything is set on english including Oracle Client (... sqlldr).
As you can see in datafile.log i get oracle ORA-01722 error.
Any ideas?

Hi there,
We are currently running OAS 10.1.2. We have an application which is running Oracle Forms. To get access to these forms, the authenication is a combination of the user logging on to their windows domain, (AD SSO) and having the correct username and groups within Oracle OID and DAS.
We have a major problem at the moment in Production where every so often a user will get rejected for having insufficient access rights, and the UserID in the logs being Null. Yet if they try again it works.
Does anyone know why this might be happening for?

With the netwatch module, if you do not have an interface configured or there is no traffic being seen on the configured interface the module will display this error message. This error can be ignored if you have not yet configured the module and is normal for an unconfigured module.
To correctly configure the module configure a spare interface on your collector with an ip address and either span traffic to that interface or configure a DHCP helper to forward DHCP traffic to that interface.

I installed ALUI 6.5 .Net version. on Windows XP . The portal diagnostics was successfull. However i still see the error

Since this is .NET you should first check that the IIS anonymous user has full access to the i18n settings folder. To isolate other causes of this issue, try enabling debug mode in portalconfig.xml (set the DebuggingMode setting to 1) and restarting your portal. This enables the i18n diagnostic unit tests, which should then output more detailed errors to ptspy.

Smartview: XML Load Error: An invalid character was found in text content.
Hi,
Im using hyperion 11.1.2.1 with SmartView installed with Office 2007. A lot of forms are working fine on it but we have entered data recently on a number of them and we are unable to open them in SmartView either through the icon and menu options in workspace or through the smartview panel in excel 2007. The error we are getting is "XML Load Error: An invalid character was found in text content."

XML load error - when moving table data after upgrade

Background:
Previously in our 2.2 instance, we would use the Data Load/Unload feature of APEX to move data in the form of XML from instance 1 to instance 2. This woks well because it moves images also (BLOB)
What Changed:
Recently we did the upgrade to APEX 3.0. The tool is working well, but we are having issues uploading XML data in the same manner we used to. The process wizard works up until time for execution.. the following error message is seen.
XML load error.
Return to application.
Assumption:
I do not believe this is an XML file issues because the file I am testing the process with is from the EMP table, and is from the UNLOAD option on the same DB and SCHEMA.. (testing is unloading the data, than re-loading the same data to the same place)
Internally some permissions or something internal must be missing.
Assistance or suggestions on where to look is greatly appreciated.

Here is a small procedure you could use to take the XML data file format exported from Application Express and import into your table. This uses the Java-dependent DBMS_XMLSAVE package, which avoids the issue mentioned above.

1) Just pass in a VARCHAR2 as I did in the example above, which would limit you to roughly 32K.
2) You could use DBMS_LOB.LOADCLOBFROMFILE to read it from the database server filesystem.
3) You could upload the file via an APEX application (or some other means within APEX), you could convert the BLOB to a CLOB, and then call this procedure. If you need help with this method, let me know.
Don't forget - as yet another alternative, you could always contact Oracle Support to see what could be done about that underlying database bug.

Project Load: Error Alerts Suppression Feature
I don't believe there is, but does anyone know of a way to suppress error alerts when loading a project that's missing plugins, can't load a mov file, etc...?
I've already filed a feature request for this and would love if others would too. This has been a big annoyance for me on a large project. Having to click Ok on 20+ alert popups is unnecessary and mind numbing to say the least when you are trying to get in and out of a file quickly. After Effects should simply log all of the errors and create an Error log text file and after the last error just before project is ready to open show one simple alert stating that there were errors and to check out the log for details, or even a small summary of the errors in ONE alert popup. If there is an error, I get it, no need to announce every single one and force me to Ok it. Just give me a list of the problems. Faster, more organized, and just simply a better user experience.

When opening a project that has errors with files, missing plugins, etc... errors of any kind. It would be extremely valuable to consolidate those alert warnings into one single txt log file for easy review and only have ONE alert that either gives a summary of the errors or states that an error log was created in the parent folder of said project file.
Why is this feature important to you?
Getting a single alert popup for every single error is extremely annoying and in most cases takes way too much valuable time to babysit and click "Ok" for every alert. This annoyance is amplified by not having a printed summary to review afterwards if there are lots of errors or missing plugins.This is the primary one that I have been dealing with a lot. It's Avid media conversion files that are hit and miss on mac it seems. I have lots of composition timelines that were built via AAF through Auto Duck and these timelines need to stay present in my project. So I have to deal with 10 - 30 of these alert popups each time I open a AEP file, due to the number of mov's in the AEP file. Stuff like that is what makes no sense. Consolidate all errors into one notification, preferrably something tangable like a simple text document so it can be easily reviewed and delt with if need be in addition to the alert popup.
Also after opening another AEP that had missing plugins, I now see the new consolidated alert for missing plugins. Many thanks, that really helps. -
Why I get Labview load error code 16?

Try opening the VI with another version of LabVIEW. You can also try placing the VI as a subVI and then viewing its block diagram.
