Error in event simulation

Hi..
  I've configured the workflow for FI Document Parking/Posting (for the BO FIPP). I'm using the standard WF WS10000051(having no customization) and its sub workflows. But when I perform an event simulation for FIPP CREATED in SWU0, I'm getting the error ...."The binding definition from the event container to the workflow
container or the task container contains errors.".... for the tasks WS10000051 and WS10000053.
I've also done a syntax check for WS10000051 and WS10000053 in SWDD, and there are no inconsistencies.
Any advice/hints on solving the aforesaid error is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
PI

Dear Akshay...
   All the event linkages have been activated in OOCU....also for the WF WS10000051(3 level parking) the events FIPP.CREATED,FIPP.CHANGED & FIPP.COMPLETED as the triggering events and for the WF WS10000051 the events are FIPP.CREATED & FIPP.CHANGED.... binding exists for all these....the mapping from event container to WF container for both the WFs is as follows...
<b>Event Container</b><----
><b>WF Container</b>
&_EVT_OBJECT&     <----
> &FIPPID&
&_EVT_CREATOR&    <----
> &_WF_INITIATOR&
These being the standard settings....also a check for any binding errors yields 'No Errors Found'...
Your advice is greatly appreciated...
Thanks and Regards
PI

    Do you have antiVirus installed on the sharepoint servers?
    These folders may have to be excluded from antivirus scanning when you use file-level antivirus software in SharePoint. If these folders are not excluded, you may see unexpected behavior. For example, you may receive "access denied" error messages when files
    are uploaded.
    Please follow this KB and exclude the folders from Scanning.

  • Remote Desktop Management service not starting. service-specific error: %%2284126209 - Event ID: 7024

    Hi Forum members,
    We have a client that has intermittent issues with RDS on a 2012 R2 server.
    As an overview of the environment, the client has a single VMWare host support 2 x Windows 2012 R2 VMs one is the File/Print/Email server and the 2nd is the RDS server used to allow the client to run MYOB Enterprise. Both servers have the AD DS role and
    DNS roles amongst others.
    The 1st issue is that the RD Connection Broker shows the error: "The server pool does not match the RD Connection Brokers that are in it. and then "1. Cannot connect to any of the specified RD Connection Broker servers".
    The above issue seems to be caused by the RDMS service not starting. When you attempt to start it, the service stops and the error in the title is logged in the "System" event log. Full transcript below:

    I have been attempting to resolve these errors for some time, without success. I have read the many KBs and forum entries related to the above and applied a number of the suggested fixes, including the one which suggests to add the NT SERVICE\ALL SERVICES
    to the "Logon as a Service" in the "User Rights Assignment" of the "Default Domain Policy" which is linked to the domain level, that both servers are objects of.
    My question to the forum is, can anyone come up with a solution to resolve the above issues and all the RDMS service to start which will then hopefully resolve the broker error?
    Regards,
    David West.

    Hi David,
    If virtual machines on the server are Windows Server 2012, then it is not supported to install Remote Desktop Connection Broker on a Domain Controller.
    More information for you:
    Remote Desktop Services role cannot co-exist with AD DS role on Windows Server 2012
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2799605/de
    Guidelines for installing the Remote Desktop Session Host role service on a computer running Windows Server 2012 without the Remote Desktop Connection Broker role service
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2833839
    If the VMs are Windows Server 2012 R2, I suggest you install RDS on a separate machine to see if the issue persists.
    Best Regards,
    Amy

  • Windows is Scanning and repairing drive... (- Errors in Event Viewer)

    Long post, please be patient... :)
    I have a fairly new (purchased 8/2013) Lenovo ThinkPad T431s with Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit (updated from 8.0 -> 8.1). It has a very tricky error coming basically 8 / 10 boots:
    Windows is Scanning and repairing drive...
    Error details from Windows Event Viewer (a new similar error appears on every boot to event viewer):
    A corruption was discovered in the file system structure on volume \?\Volume{f62db2cf-efe4-4b55-a3f7-0e7db991a984}.
    A file on the volume is no longer reachable from its parent directory. The parent file reference number is 0x2000000000002. The name of the parent directory is "". The parent index attribute is ":$I30:$INDEX_ALLOCATION". The file reference
    number of the file that needs to be reconnected is 0x400000003db80. There may be additional files on the volume that also need to be reconnected to this parent directory.
    What has been done 1st trying to fix that:
    SSD disk has been changed (image from previous SSD copied back) ->
    no solution, error remains
    chkdsk /F /R -> no solution, error remains
    SFC /scannow -> no solution, error remains
    dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth -> no solution, error remains after a few boots
    TRIED using Windows 8.1 "Update & Recovery -> Refresh Your PC without affecting your files" -> Inserted the Lenovo "Operating System Recovery Disk Windows 8 Pro (OEM Activation 3.0 Required)" BUT Windows did not accept
    that DVD claiming "The media inserted is not valid"... ???
    Ended up calling Lenovo Support and they instructed me to order the Recovery DVD from
    Lenovorecovery.com -> Unfortunatelly Windows does not recognice the DVD(s)...
    mountvol returns:
    \\?\Volume{4d337687-0033-42f7-8a8e-b6968b533cb3}\
    (This is my C:\ drive where Windows installation resides)
    \\?\Volume{e010cf9d-c04d-4c82-b517-3cda1b647fe7}\

    \\?\Volume{33f0062f-0aff-4fd2-8402-1c7911d86897}\
    *** NO MOUNT POINTS ***
    Then running fsutil dirty query on each returns:
    Volume - \\?\Volume{4d337687-0033-42f7-8a8e-b6968b533cb3} is NOT Dirty
    Volume - \\?\Volume{e010cf9d-c04d-4c82-b517-3cda1b647fe7} is NOT Dirty

    Volume - \\?\Volume{33f0062f-0aff-4fd2-8402-1c7911d86897} is NOT Dirty
    The chkdsk on the dirty volume
    \\?\Volume{f62db2cf-efe4-4b55-a3f7-0e7db991a984}\ returned:
    The type of the file system is NTFS.
    Insufficient storage available to create either the shadow copy storage file or
    other shadow copy data.
    A snapshot error occured while scanning this drive. Run an offline scan and fix.
    Diskpart output on the same volume:
    DISKPART> lis par

    Partition 2 Recovery 1000 MB 129 MB
    Partition 3 System 260 MB 1129 MB
    Partition 4 Primary 146 GB 1389 MB
    Partition 5 Recovery 350 MB 147 GB
    Partition 6 Recovery 19 GB 148 GB
    Questions:
    1) Are my Partitions OK, haven't "touched" anything?
    2) Excluded the dirty volume from boot checking with chkntfs /x
    -> still the Error appears in Event viewer log (but Scanning is skipped/not shown anymore during the boot).
    What is causing the error?
    3) Why do I have three (3) recovery partitions?

    What has happened in the past days:
    A) Lenovo on-site-Support changed the motherboard -> had no impact on the error (which I expected).
    B) I found
    instructions how to manually create USB Flash stick with a booting Custom (OEM) Recovery Image.
    C) Booted with USB and performed "Refresh your PC without affecting your files."
    D) Windows was refreshed but...
    -->>
    Still the error remains (Windows scanning and repairing drive \?\Volume{f62db2cf-efe4-4b55-a3f7-0e7db991a984} on each and every boot.
    1) Related Error in Event viewer (NTFS):
    A corruption was discovered in the file system structure on volume \?\Volume{f62db2cf-efe4-4b55-a3f7-0e7db991a984}.
    A file on the volume is no longer reachable from its parent directory. The parent file reference number is 0x2000000000002. The name of the parent directory is "". The parent index attribute is ":$I30:$INDEX_ALLOCATION". The file reference number of the
    file that needs to be reconnected is 0x400000003db80. There may be additional files on the volume that also need to be reconnected to this parent directory.
    2) Related Error in Event viewer (NTFS - Microsoft Windows NTFS):
    Volume \\?\Volume{f62db2cf-efe4-4b55-a3f7-0e7db991a984} (\Device\HarddiskVolume5) needs to be taken offline to perform a Full Chkdsk.  Please run "CHKDSK /F" locally via the command line, or run "REPAIR-VOLUME <drive:>" locally or remotely via
    PowerShell.
    -->>
    Now Lenovo support is proposing a full re-install (to be performed by myself) of Windows as this is SW issue.
    Summary:
    - Refreshing my T431s with OEM Image does not help
    - The error remains on \?\Volume{f62db2cf-efe4-4b55-a3f7-0e7db991a984} (\Device\HarddiskVolume5; Lenovo Recovery partition) OR at least Windows thinks so...

  • Vista got corrupt after power failure. sfc reports error and Event log service is unable to start itself.

    Hi,
    After a sudden power failure, I guess vista file system is corrupt.   I am able to start vista in normal mode, but it seems there are errors like Event Log service unable to start itself,  when I start IE, it closes automatically ,
    Norton antivirus does not start itself.  and so on.
    After Bing search, I went to safe mode and executed sfc /scannow and it reported error as below.
    "Windows resource protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them"
    Unfortunately I am unable to upload log file, so I am pasting CBS.log content here....   Please advice.
    Some parts of logs are removed due to limit of 60000 characters.

    Hi,
    Please refer the link [Workflow System Administrator Role|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp2/helpdata/en/8c/1923ce932b11d2a5ea0060087a79ea/content.htm] - The administrator needs to be assigned with these roles mentioned in this hellp documentation.
    The error message in your case indicates that there is some problem in the "Event Linkage". KNA1 is the Customer Master Table. I guess it is the "STATUSCHAGED" event of Customer Object is having some event linkage problem. You can check the event type linkages in SWETYPV Transaction. Thanks.

  • Using yepnope, getting error in event handler.

    Recently discover yepnope and started to implement it into my project to keep common functions in one file. The first set of functions worked fine when I moved them over, but with the last one I'm unable to control a symbol.  It's calling the function fine, it's just wont play the symbol timeline.
    -------Here's the function in the external file
    //Function for audio button
    // Tests the paused attribute and set state.
    voButton = function (){
        if ($('#voiceOver')[0].paused) {
            console.log("play");
            $('#voiceOver')[0].play();
            sym.getComposition().getStage().getSymbol("btnSound").stop(1000);
        else {
            console.log("pause");
            $('#voiceOver')[0].pause();
            sym.getComposition().getStage().getSymbol("btnSound").stop(0);
    -------Here's the call to the function
    Symbol.bindElementAction(compId, symbolName, "${_btnSound}", "click", function(sym, e) {
             voButton();
    //Edge binding end
    Calling the function plays the audio but doesn't change the symbol. Getting the error message:
    functions.js (line 39)
    Javascript error in event handler! Event Type = element
    I've tried different combinations of getComposition() or getSymbol(), nothing.  I read a post somewhere that said I needed to prefix my function creation with sym. and call it the same way.  This didn't work either and caused the function to stop working, but with a new error: sym is not defined in the external file.
    Like I said the function works when I call it, but I can't access the symbol's timeline for some reason.

    I'm trying to include a custom js file to an Edge project, and I'm getting the same "sym is not defined" error. have you found a workaround for this problem?
    can't we just use "sym" or methods like "getSymbol()" in the js loaded by yepnope?
    I can't find any sources about this.
    And I can't find an easy way to substitute "sym"...
    Thanks in advance

  • Help with Javascript error in event handler slowing animation down.

    Hi all--
    I did an animated book cover for my publisher, Baen Books, but an error keeps coming up in my animation.  The actual animating can be viewed here:
    http://baen.com/310x204/A_CallToDuty.html
    As you can see, when the error pops up, the animation grinds to a halt, an it has to recover.  I am not well enough versed in javascript to know what is going on. The error code below repeats over and over again as it plays.
    6Javascript error in event handler! Event Type = timeline edge.3.0.0.min.js:171
    3
    <error> VM26:184
    Javascript error in event handler! Event Type = timeline edge.3.0.0.min.js:1714Javascript error in event handler! Event Type = timeline edge.3.0.0.min.js:1713
    <error>
    If anyone has an idea what is causing this, I would be extremely grateful for  any help.

    Hi Hemanth--
    I put it in a dropbox folder for you here:
    Dropbox - EdgeAnimation
    This contains 2 versions--a small one for the preview, and then a larger one when people click on the cover preview. Thanks in advance for your help.\

  • Javascript error in event handler! edge 4.0.0.js, what to do about it?

    Site
    Hello everyone. I get an error in my chrome cosole, what can I do about this?
    I dont have this problem in all browsers, just in chrome, and in some versions of Firefox.
    The problem occurs when I click any label in the iframe (see website, speaks for itself).
    line 5838      window.console.log("Javascript error in event handler! Event Type = " + eventType);
    does anyone know how to fix this?
    And why do I only have this problem in some browsers?

    I basically want the labels in the Iframe to make the parent page animate to a specific anchor tag.
    ps. This is what I posted on the jquery forum as well:
    I tried to do this by letting the iframe .trigger a .click to a button on the .parent page.
    I did this in two ways.
    one: the click is triggerd in (/by) the iframe
    two: the click is triggerd by a script in the parent window, that script is launched by the iframe
    Here's the thing:
    this is what one of the <a>'s that the iframe will click looks like:
    <a class="nonblock nontext anim_swing" id="u185" href="index.html#contact"><!-- simple frame --></a>
    The code is generated by adobe muse which has a function to smoothly scroll to a location on the page, and I am guessing the "anim_swing" class takes care of that.
    I would like the colorful labels in the iframe to do the same thing as the <a> above.
    and it works in some browsers on some computers but somehow not on all of them (with method two the adblocker doesn't seem to be an issue ).
    I also tried to let the parent page scroll directly with the jquery .scrollto function. That did not work either (see the jquery forum).

  • Javascript error in event handler event type = timeline

    Hi,
    I have a small EdgeAnimate projekt with version 1.5.0 and the local export works fine... I must include the package at a CMS and I update all paths to absolute paths and all files are loading...
    but I the animation dont play - I see at the javascript console the follow output
    javascript error in event handler event type = timeline   edge.1.5.0.min.js:143
    Springender Punkt: Rettungswagen - Der springende Punkt
    I dont found any solution... :-((

    Hi Scott,
    I have gone through your shared composition created in older verion of Edge.
    If you open the older composition html page in browser, there already have some of the error messages in the console as you mentioned above like
          Javascript error in event handler! Event Type = timeline.
    And as you said with the latest Edge, when you upgrade the old composition, some new error messages gets added to the existing ones.
    As in the latest Edge, the whole of runtime has been shake-up, some of the attributes has been removed and are added in different way.
    Example: To access timelines of a symbol:
         Old way:           sym.timelines['Default Timeline']
         New way:          sym.data[sym.name].timeline
    You need to make some modifications in index_edgeActions.js file like:
         1. Search & Replace "timelines['Default Timeline']" with "data[sym.name].timeline"
         2. And in the code taken from EdgeCommons.js, replace "getVariable("symbolSelector")" with "_variables["symbolSelector"]".
    Hope, these changes will remove the new JS issues you mentioned.
    hth,
    Vivekuma

  • Javascript error in event handler! Event Type = element [edge.2.0.0.min.js:162]

    I'm doing a little edge project (now in beta version) for my girlfriend (she hates the code), with examples of the animate() method and other functions like setInteval(), but when I run I get the following error in Chrome console:
    Javascript error in event handler! Event Type = element [edge.2.0.0.min.js:162]
    But this library is global for all projects, how is possible that trigger an error?
    Example here:
    https://app.box.com/s/m7nof4al6597gfn47jlu
    Thanks.

    you dont need to import java ease !!
    it's already included in edge animate, remove that yepnope completely your problem will gone

    That's a Microsoft Error coming from a Microsoft log, I can't be sure what's causing it, you need to consult Microsoft.
    Usually in their errors the service account that generated it (if by a service account) is one of the details or in the error message. You may need to stop running something with a service account...

    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    I was able to resolve this issue and the PHCORE (Rapidboot driver) error no longer appears upon boot in Event Viewer.
    I noticed that when Rapidboot's executable file (HYPERW764) BSOD'ed, both Superfetch and VSS became disabled in the Services - a big no-no.   After re-enabling Superfetch and VSS, I was able to successfully uninstall and reinstall Rapidboot.
    I believe the root cause may have been one of my antivirus programs (MSE or Malwarebytes), and since uninstalling them and installing ESET, I have had no issues with Rapidboot.
