Actually its happens 2, 3 times, so I was afraid of some new problem.
When I checked log it was showing that IRM services get Restarted at the same time.
As it first stops the services and then start the services. I get this error

  • NetRetryCount and netRetryInterval error in Hyperion Planning web form

    User is getting this error when trying to save data on a web form. The error happens intermittenly and on different forms. It is difficult to pinpont the problem, as it does not happen consistently on the same form and as the administrator, I have never been able to replcate if on my computer and under the admin role. It actually causes the Hyperion Planning service to crash and we have to restart the service. The most recent time this occurred there was a rule that was running on save. We have removed the run on save for now. Does anyone know what setting need to be adjusted to eliminate this error?

    You can probably try changing the value for netRetryCount and netRetryInterval in Essbase.cfg. Consider changing NetDelay too.
    Essbase.cfg file is loacted in:
    $HYPERION_HOME/products/Essbase/EssbaseServer/bin/Essbase.cfg

  • Out of memory error on Hyperion Analyzer

  • Overflow error in Hyperion Financial Reports

    Hi All,
    I'm using Hyperion Financial Reporting Studio version 9.3.1. Recently we are facing few issues with FR. When we try to copy a column, we are getting the "overflow" error. Can someone help on how to resolve this issue ?
    FYI. The no. of Rows in the Report are approx. 3000 and columns around 20. Pls. help

    The no. of rows in the Report are (Design mode) approx. 1700. When we run the report, the total no. of rows showing is around 3000. The no. of columns, rows cause the overflow issue ?
    How we can clear the buffer ? We Restarted the server also, but no luck. The same error appearing

  • Need urgent help on issue "An unknown CSS error occured" Hyperion Essbase

    Hi guys
    I am facing an issue while configuring Essbase 9.3.1. Everytime i tried to register Essbase(Server1) with Shared Services(Server2), i.e at the point where we enter Shared Services server, port, username, and password i am getting the following error.
    "An unknown CSS error occured. please check the values you entered". I verified and gave all the values exactly. but same error....
    please help me with your suggestions in resolving this issue.

    Some things to check.
    Oracle is up and you can connect with the account you configured studio with.
    Check the oracle account you are using for studio has the correct priviledges.
    Check the connection details are correct in server.properties file in Hyperion\products\Essbase\EssbaseStudio\Server

  • Report Error from Hyperion 9.3 Dashboard

    I have created a button to process the query using hyperion 9.3 dashboard and encounter this error below.
    This error only occur when i'm using in client but in the website itself no error but result of the report is incorrect.
    Server Error [1003]: Failed to acquire access to database.
    Oracle Error - 1: ORA-1007 : invalid username/password; logon denied
    May I know what missing sript or additional script that may trigger this error? How to I ensure in future this error will not pop up again?

    It appears- You've not configured the DAS from-
    Start -> All Programs -> Hyperion -> Reporting & Analysis -> Utilities and Administration -> Service Configurator
    Please note that- Restart of BI+ services is mandatory after DAS configuration to process the queries from IR web client !!!

  • Network Error in Hyperion

    Hi All,
    I have installed Hyperion V11.1.2( microsoft windows 32-bit) on Windows XP Professional Edn .But the problem is sometimes i am able to connect to Essbase from EAS console and some times its showing couldn't connect to server,Network error.I have posted the question in forum regarding this issue and i tried all the possible solutions.but nothing is working.I tried to install the software in two three machines.Every time i am facing the same issue.
    Also Essbase server is not in Services list.
    Plz tell me where am going wrong??

    We are getting the following error in ODI Operator (3rd step) when trying to reverse-engineer Hyperion Essbase and Planning models. com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: Cannot invoke a rollback operation when the AutoCommit mode is set to "true".
    Our ODI repository resides in SQL Server.. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

    You should upgrade to the latest patch of ODI available on metalink.oracle.com 10.1.3.4.4.
    There was an issue in 10.1.3.4 ODI with the intial reverse when using SQL server. If you shutdown all the ODI UI's and then restart. And then reverse it should work correctly. But you have to make sure you shut down all ODI tools.

  • 5200 error in hyperion reports

    Hi All,
    When I try running my hyperion reports it throughs me 5200 error....I checked all DB connection and reports format and formula's everything seems fine to me.
    Can anyone help me out on this.

  • Error invoking hyperion configuration wizard

    Hi,
    I am installating Hyperion System 9 including Planning. I have completed the installation of Shared Services and Essbase. After the installation of Planning, while invoking the hyperion configuration utility, to register Planning tool, I am getting the following error,
    " could not determine central location: use "-enginehome" to set manually" .
    Please let me know if anyone has faced this issue, and possible ways to resolve the same.
    I am using Sun Solaris OS-8, SPARC 64 bit application.

    I did not set the class path manually, I only used the sapinst wizard.
    How to check the class path and  if the com.sap.aii.adapter.lib.zip is not installed, how to install it?
    It may not be related,
    because  I wanted to change the PI default client from 001 to 100, I  executed the client copy, change UME to new client and deploy LM　CONFIGURATION(LMCFG01P Patch 02) according to the SAPnote 1309239 Q4.

  • Outline Load Utility error using Hyperion Planning 11.1.2

    I am using Outline Load Utility to extract outline from Hyperion Planningin .csv format.
    We have three planning cubes and I am trying to extract a dimension that is only a standard dimension in the third cube. However, I get this error message:
    Error: Unable to obtain dimension information and/or perform a data load: com.hyperion.planning.sql.HspMember cannot be cast to com.hyperion.planning.sql.HspTimePeriod
    When I check Shared Services, the dimension is not part of standard dimensions in Global Artifacts for the app. I can see it under the specific Plan Type as a standard dimension.
    When I try to extract any of the dimensions under the Global Artifacts, the command is successful. Here is the syntax I type for outline load command:
    OutlineLoad /A:HFPlan2 /U:admin  /-M /E:c:/position_export.csv /D:Position /L:c:/outlineLoad.log /X:c:/outlineLoad.exc
    Please advise if I need to add something else to the command or totally use any other tool.

    Log an SR with Oracle, because that is a varchar field with I think 2000 char limit.
    Is that happening for just that application (do you have other apps, or can you create a sample application)

    Have you tried restarting the services and giving it a try?
    Which version of Essbase/Planning are you on?
    If your Essbase server name has more than 30 characters, please use NODENAME with short server name.
