Error in IKM SQL to JMS XML Append

Hi
I am doing transformation from Oracle table to XML and send that XML to JMS Queue.
So i am uing 1) IKM SQL to JMS XML append 2) LKM SQL to SQL
In IKM SQL to JMS XML append

SYNCHRO_XML_TO_JMS =      true
INITIALIZE_XML_SCHEMA =      true
JMS_EXTRACT_MESSAGE = <Root element name>
when execute interface,
Getting error in step "Insert into XML (JMS Message)" like

Hi,
Is this issue resolved? If so, can you provide the fix?
I am getting the same error.
Thanks,

  • ODI - IKM SQL to File Append - Header not Generated

    I'm using ODI IKM SQL to File Append to create a text file, but the header is not being generated. And the GENERATE_HEADER is set to Yes. The file is Tab delimited and the Heading (number of lines) is set to 1.

  • XML Parsing error in PL/SQL

    Hello,
    I have some problem in parsing Mircrosoft OpenXML file using Oracle 10g Release2 XML Parser for PL/SQL.
    I use dbms_xmlparser, dbms_xmldom, dbms_xslprocessor packages
    OpenXML file use "w:" as namespace, so every element has prefix "w:" like
    <w:wordDocument ..>
    <w:body..>
    <w:p..>
    <w:r..>
    <w:t..>
    My job is to read OpenXML file inside PL/SQL code, parse it, and load it into the corresponding table.
    Here is my PL/SQL code.
    DECLARE
    doc dbms_xmldom.DOMDocument;
    node_list dbms_xmldom.DOMNodeList;
    l_node dbms_xmldom.DOMNode;
    one_element dbms_xmldom.DOMElement;
    PROCEDURE p (msg VARCHAR2, nl BOOLEAN := TRUE) IS
    BEGIN
    dbms_output.put_line (msg);
    IF nl THEN dbms_output.put(CHR(10)); END IF;
    END:
    BEGIN
    doc := xml.parse(BFileName('XML_DIR','OpenXMLFile.xml'));
    node_list := xpath.selectNodes(doc, '/w:wordDocument/w:body/w:p/w:r/w:t');
    FOR j IN 0..dbms_xmldom.getLength(node_list)-1
    LOOP
    p( xpath.valueOf(dbms_xmldom.item(node_list, j), '.'), nl=>FALSE );
    END LOOP;
    Here is the error message.
    ERROR at line 1:
    ORA-31011: XML parsing failed

    ORA-06512: at line 38
    I really don't know why I got this error message nor how to solve it. If I remove "w:" manually within open xml file, then parsing works well. I guess XML parser for PL/SQL doesn't recognize ":" or maybe doesn't support namespace?
    My question is
    1. In oracle 10g release2, XML Parser for PL/SQL can recognize ":" in the element name? or does it support namespace? If not, is there any workaround for solving this problem?
    2. How can I make XML Parser recognize ":" in the element name in the xml file or How can I declare namespace in the PL/SQL code so that PL/SQL xml parser can recognize namespace like "w:"?
    In fact, I don't use XML DB and what I want to do is just to load XML file into the relational table and some parts of whole XML file will be inserted into the CLOB in the table.
    Should I really use XML DB to do the above job?
    Any comment or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

    This works correctly. I added prefixes to your extract path. (I had to add the xmlns:xsi to your root node also.)
    declare
      -- Local variables here
       doc_in       dbms_xmldom.DOMDocument;
       aNodeList    dbms_xmldom.DOMNodeList;
    begin
      -- Test statements here
      doc_in := dbms_xmldom.newdomdocument(
    '<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>' ||
    '<ap:Collection xmlns:ap="http://www.abc.com/ap" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.abc.com/ap template.xsd"> ' ||
    '<ap:info>' ||
    '<ap:data name="Barbie" age="3">' ||
    '</ap:data>' ||
    '</ap:info>' ||
    '</ap:Collection>');
      aNodeList := dbms_xslprocessor.selectNodes(dbms_xmldom.makeNode(doc_in),
                                                 '/ap:Collection/ap:info',
                                                 'xmlns:ap="http://www.abc.com/ap"');
      dbms_output.put_line('length of aNodeList = '|| dbms_xmldom.getLength(aNodeList) );
    end;

  • ODI Error:   Error when selecting IKM Selector: IKM SQL to Hyperion Planni

    Hi,
    I'm trying to build the Accounts dimension from a tab delimited text file. I have setup the logical and physical architecture and contexts.
    On the 'Flow' tab of my Model, I click on my Target header. Then on the 'IKM Selector' dropdown, I select 'IKM SQL to Hyperion Planning'. It gives the error:
    Internal Error: ODI-15526: IKM IKM SQL to Hyperion Planning not accepted for staging and target technology
    Any ideas? I think I'm really close. I'm really new/green on ODI and I'm at the very end of trying to actually run my dimension build.
    All help is appreciated.

    The hyperion technologies do not support being set as target staging area so you will always need to set a staging area, this can be a relational staging area such as oracle, sql server or the memory engine.
    Cheers

  • Get data from a JMS XML queue and save it in a file

    Hi,
    Here I come with my issue again.
    I'm trying to test a JMS XML implementation with ODI 10.1.3.4.0 and my target is a single delimited file.
    I made simple things, my XML contains the following code :
    +<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>+
    +<test><id>456</id><value>789</value></test>+
    In the target file, I specified that I wanted a header line, the id and the value, separated by a tab.
    I send only one message, before executing the ODI interface or package. The queue is persistant. There's no problem from the queue, I manage to read JMS messages with a little program I made.
    The result is also simple : there's no data in the file (not even the header), though it's well created by ODI, and there's no error in the opertor, it's as everything went well.
    Here is the settings I did in ODI :
    Topology : JMS XML Queue config
    Name : JMSXML_TEST
    Technology : JMS XML Queue
    I've a user and password set.
    JNDI Auth : simple
    The user and password are the same as above.
    JNDI protocole : not defined
    JNDI Driver : org.jnp.interfaces.NamingContextFactory
    JNDI URL : jnp://localhost:1099/?re=test&d=<DTD_FILE>&s=JMSXML_TEST_SCH&JMS_DESTINATION=queue/TestQueue1
    The connection test is OK.
    Model
    The JMS XML model is reversed from the DTD.
    There is only one datastore named TEST with an ID and VALUE columns, and other columns usefull to ODI.
    The target is a file represented by a datastore also named TEST with ID and VALUE columns.
    Project
    I created an interface with the following configurations :
    - The staging area is the sunopsis engine,
    - The source datastore and target datastore are the two described above,
    - The LKM is JMS XML to SQL, the IKM is SQL to File Append
    - The JMS_COMMIT option is set to yes
    - The SYNCHRO_JMS_TO_XML is set to yes
    - I added manually a NEXTMESSAGETIMEOUT in the options list because it was missing
    - The IKM settings are all set to yes (INSERT, TRUNCATE, GENERATE_HEADER).
    I also created a package containing this interface.
    Everything is done in the global context.
    Everything is installed locally on my computer : the program sending the messages, the JMS provider and ODI.
    The problem is I don't know where the problem is and neither ODI.
    In the operator, there is 0 insert and the error code is 0.
    Thanks in advance for any insights.

    Hi,
    Since I still have problems on this subject, I would like to share on how it progresses.
    Currently I have a problem of timeout in step "Truncate XML Schema" with the URL that I mentioned above.
    The exact error is the following : 7000 : null : com.sunopsis.sql.l: Oracle Data Integrator TimeOut : connection with URL [...]
    The connection test is still OK.
    I tried to increase the value in the user's pref but there's no change.

  • Equivalent of SQL JOINs using XML + XPath

    I have been working on a Java app for a while that takes user queries and searches various translations of the Bible. The data is stored in 66 .xml files, one per book of the Bible, and those files, in turn, are stored in a .jar file.
    The user may select 2 or more translations and see them in parallel. So for example, let's say that want Matthew chapter 1 and verses 1 to 10 from KJV and ASV. I simply use the following XPath expression: /book/chapter[@num=1]/verse[@num>=1 and @num<=10] . Then I use XPathFactory, XPath, compile() and evaluate() on Matthew.xml from kjv.jar and asv.jar.
    However, the problem is not so simple for keyword queries from the user. In such a case the tool searches for keywords in one translation and then finds the same verses from all subsequent translations. Here the XPath expression might be more like: /book/chapter/verse[contains(., 'keyword1') and contains(., 'keyword2')] for the first translation. However, if I ran the same query on subsequent translations they may or may not return the exact same set of verses (depending on language (English, Greek, Hebrew) and also on the dialect (Old English vs. Modern English)). So, my question is what is the most efficient way of obtaining the same verses from subsequent translations?
    I could simply look up the verses in the first translation, then use DOM API calls to find the chapter and verse numbers, and look those up in the other translations. But this seems tedious, SLOW, and possibly more error prone.
    Also, a second question: if I wanted to include a help file in my application's .jar file. How could I access that file programmatically? That is, how do I tell the application to look for "help.html" in the jar file so I can manipulate and/or display the contents to the user?
    And last question: since, I'm still learning my way around Java and XML, how would I go about programmatically applying a .xsl file to some given .xml input to produce HTML + CSS output? What classes, interfaces, etc. should I look up for this? And can anyone point me to sample code online for this?

    That's one way. Another is to use a templating alternative like Velocity.
    And can anyone point me to sample code online for this?Try the Apache Xalan docs. Or this:

  • What can be the cause of Web ADI error : Cannot execute SQL statement?

    I created a custom integrator in r12.2.3 and while loading I encountered an error, Cannot execute SQL statement.
    I checked my setup in Interface attribute , the RUN_ID column has a default type SQL QUERY with a default value SELECT  XXCONV_EAM_ASSET_NUM_S.NEXTVAL FROM DUAL.
    If I have a right setup here, what can be the cause of this error?

    Hi,
    The possibilities can be of various reasons, with the sql statements,
    xml descriptors, data sources, improper drivers anything. To crack down
    the solution, kindly let me know the error messages and what exactly are
    you trying to accomplish.

  • ODI IKM SQL to Planning Issue

    Can anyone help me out with this one? I'm trying to run an IKM to Planning to update a Planning dimension metadata outline and am using the IKM SQL to Planning. After executing it, the Operator shows the status completed but an exception occured from one of the steps, "Report Statistics". I'm using the Sunopsis_Memory_Engine as my staging area and my flow chart start with a flat file (LKM File to SQL), staging area Sunopsis, and target is Planning (IKM SQL to Planning). In my mapping diagram, I have all columns to execute on the staging area, except for the parent and child columns which I have executing on the source. Below is the execution message for the "Report Statistics" step that seems to fail. Anyone know how to address this?

    Hi,
    Have you also enabled the error logs in the IKM as this log should also explain why they are being rejected.
    In the operator a failure is a red icon, the icons you are pointing out are yellow, they may be an error but they are not serious, for instance it tries to drop a table if it doesn't exist it warns and carries on, if the table existed it would drop it, these are not serious failures, ones to be concerned about are red.
    Cheers

    Error while installing SQL Server 2012 X64 SP2,
     When I installed the SQL Server 2012 X64 SP1, I got the attached error.
     What might be the issue here?
     Thank you
     Best
    Jamal

    Hello,
    Are you trying to install SQL Server on a compressed or encrypted drive? SQL Server won’t install on a drive/folder with these attributes.
    Are you trying to install SQL Server on a ReFS file system? It is not supported on SQL Server 2012.
    Disable any security/antivirus software and download the media again. Mount the media (.ISO file) and try to install again.
    Hope this helps.
