    Please see below :
    function openDatabaseFoo() {
      db = window.openDatabase(clientDBName, clientDBVersion, clientDBDisplayName, clientDBMaxSize);
    function createDBTables() {
      db.transaction(function(tx) {
      // Create mine table
      var fooCreate = 'CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS ' + fooTable+ ' (empNo, empName)';
      tx.executeSql(fooCreate , [],
      function (tx, resultSet) {
                //success
      var msg = 'Sucessfully created';
      alert(msg);
      logSuccessMessage(msg);

    I have formatted my Pc and reinstalled and the  same error  comes up. If I try to edit and existing insert record it  works fine,  when I create a new page and then try to add a new insert  recordset i  get this erro again.
    i have since reinstalled Windows & 32Bit  to see if  that helped, nope. I have installed no extensions its a  clean install.
    Any  help  after spending a small fortune on this software.

    I think you are trying to run the program but you don't have the required class POP3Session.class or it's .java file which you can compile.
    Another example for pop3 and smtp is on the following link..check if it helps you..

  • Error while inserting record into database using BPEL

    I am trying to read from an xml file using a File Adapter and insert the values read into a database (by invoking a database adapter).
    I formed the BPEL Process in the following manner:
    1.Receive activity to receive the values read from the file
    2.Assign activiuty to assign the values read to the Database input variable
    3.Invoke activity to invoke the Database adapter.
    The process deploys fine although with a warning : Trying to assign incompatible types.
    But when the process is executed, it is faulting at the invoke stage.

  • Error while inserting record in Key-Flex Values Set interface

    Guys
    on 11.5.10.2
    Actually the problem is being occurred while inserting value in Job Flex Field Value set, we have created two segment for job key flex filed, No and name, it was working fine, but since we have uploaded bulk data via api "fnd_flex_values_pkg.INSERT_ROW" which was around 100 off record, but after completion this task system is not taking new value by Values set interface, and show message "APPS-FND-01206: You entered duplicate values or sequence of value that must be unique for every record",
    However, we insert the job number through api, it is inserting without error while
    Interface is not taking value and raise duplicate message error,
    which is APPS-FND-01206
    Please Advice.

    Thanks for supporting dunacan
    I have mentioned both of segment detail . please advice,
    1.One is Job No segment
    Segment1 number 10

    Format Validation : select number 7,0 and check on number only (0-9)

  • Error in inserting records

    Hi all,
    I have a wizard form with text fields and select lists. One of the select list(dynamic) is conditional (based on the value of one text field). While inserting a record, on a condition that this select list wont appear, is giving me an error "Invalid Numeric Value for &P_231_LOV1". How can I resolve this?
    Thanks in advance

    Ranjit - You can run your page in debug mode and post the output here. Also, show all of your code for whatever components are at issue, e.g., the condition expression. And make sure you have a trailing period after &P_231_LOV1.

  • Primary Key rule Violation error while Insert Record in Compact DB

    Hi All,
    I have One Table in Server Name "Student"  when i Synchronize this with the help of Microsoft Synchronization Framework
    same Table schema with Data has been create in CompactDataBase.
    When i insert data in CompactDataDase it give me Primary Key Violation error.
    Please Suggest
    Example
    Table Structure is as Follows:-
    Create Table Student(
    [Emp_id] int IDENTITY(1,1) NotNull,[Emp_Name] int NOTNULL );insert into Student Values('John');insert into Student Values('Joe');Thanks & RegardsNamit Jain

    try this and see if it solves,
    also, Emp_name data type is int. it should be varchar.
    I suspect the reason is because you already have some data in student table but you identity seeds were not updated and hence it is trying to insert a row with emp_id value that already exists.and hence the primary key violation. also, your table DDL did
    not really have an primary key but it would still error since you are inserting duplicate row in the identity column.
    so, try resetting the identity seed value to the max(emp_id) in the table.
    select max(Emp_ID) from  student
    --use the output of the above statement
    DBCC CHECKIDENT ('Student', RESEED,<<--use the output of the above statement-->>)
    --your max(emp_id) should match with last_value column in the below( do not if this query would run in compact DB though)
    select seed_value,increment_value,last_value from sys.identity_columns where object_id=object_id('Student')
    now, try your insert.
    Hope it Helps!!

  • ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: in Inserting record in form 2.0

    Hi All,
    Can somebody help me out here urgently. I just added a New Column to a Table & when I try to use that Column in a Form & Insert using Automatic Row Processing(DML). I am getting this error, If I remove the newly created column, then it is fine.
    Please help. I saw some posting on forum, but there was no solution.
    ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small
         Error      Unable to process row of table <tablename>
    OK
    Thanks
    Sandeep

    Sandeep - Looks like you're hitting a 4096-character limit for the values portion of the insert statement because you have so many columns. This is a bug. A workaround would be to reduce the number of columns or create your own DML process for the insert operation.
    Also just now I installed htmldb 2.0 in my laptop & trying to create the same table, but it is not creating ...no errors ..just a clue...I don't understand what you said.

  • SQL Error when inserting record

    When attempting to update a record in dreamweaver, I am receiving the following error:

    So you have two problems. First, you have a SQL error on the page you are being redirected to, and second, you are being sent to the wrong page...correct?
    What's the name of the page you want to be redirected to? What's the name of the page you are being redirected to?

  • Error when inserting a new record (Ctrl+Down)

    Hello,
    [http://img402.imageshack.us/my.php?image=12846351.jpg]
    Here the problem is : when i press Ctrl+Down (Insert new record), i enter data into all those fields, but i got an error
    Cannot Insert Record ("ROGER"."NUME") cannot be null (roger is my username which i logged on). And i completed all fields
    Also, when inserting data into fields, when i click on another field, it points me back automatically to the last completed field, then when i click again on the next field, i can enter data in that field. why the cursor cannot be on the next field when i first click there?
    i changed the property of the items Required = No (but however, in the database cannot be null).
    Please help if you can.
    Thanks

    For your other issue, with null fields on your forms.
    have you ever tried to log those fields value into a log table?
    A better and simple idea is:
    Create a temp table, with four columns: seq, section, message, type
    Where section is the column to condition any search you want to make
    message is the column to write anything you want
    type is the column which holds the tpe of the record, like info, debug, warn, etc.
    then create a database procedure
    this procedure must recieve the section, message, type and insert them into the log table and do commit.
    in yiour pre-insert trigger [forms level] or in your when-button-pressed or even better on your on-commit trigger [forms level]
    write the following code:
    begin
    database_procdure('MY_FORM_NAME', 'THE VALUES ARE: 1='||:1||' 2='||:2||' 3='||:3, 'INFO');
    end;
    After that you can do a select in your sql*plus with the following statement:
    select *
    from temp_table
    where selction like 'MY_FORM_NAME';
    then you can track if any of the values you think is null or has a value, in fact, has a value.

  • Dump when Inserting records in Info type Tables through PA30

    Hi Experts,
    I am facing a issue in the transaction PA30 where in any changes made and saved leads to Runtime error (Inserting records in Infotype tables ).
    Error Line : insert (dbname) from  <prel_db>
    The Structure is the same but the data mismatch with the data types like
    Field NUMC(4) is filled with 00 instead of 0000
    Field DATE and TIME are Blank instead of 00000000 or 000000.
    Similarly facing the same issue in few other fields.
    The issue is same as the below thread and tried the solution given by Taher kanchwala by changing the data in the debugger and it worked.
    DBIF_RSQL_INVALID_REQUEST error while inserting records in infotype tables
    BUT i am not sure about the changes that needs to be done for fixing this issue permanently as it is mentioned to change at the configuration level.
    Any suggestions or solutions to this issue??
    Regards,
    AyyamPerumal

    Hi Nabheet,
    Thanks for your time. No enhancements are done.
    The issue is in the below statement where dbname is PA2001 and the field symbol <prel_db> has the structure of PA2001.
    insert (dbname) from  <prel_db>
    But the data is not matching with the data types like NUMC, DATE, TIME..
    Even the DOCSY and DOCNR which should been generated at this point is also not generated.
    On correcting this and giving dummy doc values, records are inserted.
    Attaching screen shots for your reference. Any solutions to this??
    Thanks and regards,

  • XSQL error when trying to insert record

    hi,
    I encounter a problem using INSERT statement in xsql:query action. If I try to use INSERT statement in my xsql page like this:
    <xsql:ze_action bean="TaskentryIn">
    <xsql:query>
    INSERT
    Grundtab( Datum,Startzeit,Endzeit)
    VALUES
    ('{@date}',{'@begin}','{@ende}')
    </xsql:query>
    </xsql:ze_action>
    I always get this xsql-error:
    Statement.executeQuery - No result sets were produced by 'INSERT...'
    So far so good, I think this shouldn't be an error rather a warning.
    But this is not my primary problem.
    Anyway the record is inserted in the DB. But since I call the above <xsql:query>, from within my own action handler, I call a sendRedirect() to my next page after the <xsql:query> tag was processed.
    After sendRedirect(), when I am on my next page, I check the DB for the inserted records, and it shows up that the insert was made two times, so I have two identically records in my DB.
    If I am not sendRedirect() to the next xsql page, then the insert is only made once. So I assume that there is a problem if an xsql-error occurs and afterwards a sendRedirect().
    I am using the same way to make my SELECT statements and I dont have any trouble with them. Only when I use INSERT.
    Any adive or help is appreciated.
    Peter

    <xsql:query> is only for queries.
    Use <xsql:dml> for a DML statement.

  • [SOLVED] FRM-40508:ORACLE error: unable to INSERT record

    Hi all,
    I have migrated this form from 4.5 to 10g (Version 10.1.2.0.2 ). This form inserts a record into the database table when all the fields in the form are filled and a button Save is presed.
    At the time when I press the Save button, I get this error. FRM-40508:ORACLE error: unable to INSERT record
    So I went on to see the "Display Error" from help and found to be the database error, inserting into a table.
    The error message is ORA-00932: inconsistent datatypes: expected DATE got NUMBER
    The form where I press Save button has 3 date fields and I checked the properties of them and they are Date only.
    I also generated to object list report and tried to find some answer, but no use.
    Please help me in debugging this form.

    I think you need to get a description of the table and compare all the "database" columns in the form with the ones in the database table to see that the types match. Somewhere there's a mismatch. Also check the block(s) "query data source columns" and see if there's any
    columns in there that the type does not match the table. (check the sizes of things too while you're at it.)

  • ORA-03113 error occurs when trying to insert record using procedure

    I have a Database Block whose DML Data Target Type is Procedure. I have given the Insert Procedure Name, Insert Procedure Arguments and Insert Procedure ResultSet Columns. The procedure which is used to insert record into the table, resides in the database. The procedure for insert takes Table of records as argument. I am getting FRM-40735: INSERT-PROCEDURE trigger raised unhandled exception ORA-03113).
    This exception does not occur if the Procedure is place under Program Units. But, I want the procedure to be under Database Block. I am working on Oracle Forms 6i.
    Please help me out in resolving this.

  • How to avoid mutating error when insert or update record

    Hi ,
    I have one transaction table which is having some detail record under one transaction number, after the one transaction number is over by insert or update, i
    want to check the total amounts of one flag should be matched on same table if it is not then give error message. But i am getting mutating error on insert or update event trigger on statement level trigger on above table.
    Is there any other way to avoid mutating error to solve the above problem or some temp table concepts to be used. help me its urgent.
    Thanks in advance,
    Sachin Khaladkar
    Pune

    Sachin, here's as short of an example as I could come up with on the fly. The sample data is ficticious and for example only.
    Let's say I need to keep a table of items by category and my business rule states that the items in the table within each category must total to 100% at all times. So I want to insert rows and then make sure any category added sums to 100% or I will rollback the transation. I can't sum the rows in a row-level trigger because I'd have to query the table and it is mutating (in the middle of being changed by a transaction). Even if I could query it while it is mutating, there may be multiple rows in a category with not all yet inserted, so checking the sum after each row is not useful.
    So here I will create;
    1. the item table
    2. a package to hold my record collection (associative array) for the trigger code (the category is used as a key to the array; if I insert 3 rows for a given category, I only need to sum that category once, right?
    3. a before statement trigger to initialize the record collection (since package variables hang around for the entire database session, I need to clear the array before the start of every DML (INSERT in this case) statement against the item table)
    4. a before row trigger to collect categories being inserted
    5. an after statement trigger to validate my business rule
    I then insert some sample data so you can see how it works. Let me know if you have any questions about this.
