When i save the PM order change in IW32 , its going for dump in the following line.
Include name : LCOIHF2V
Short text
    Length error occurred in IMPORT statement.     is the error i am getting.

Update termination error in IW32 because of requisition flag change

Has anyone worked on IW32 to change the requisition flag of a work order from never to immediate. I tried doing this using BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN. It works fine for work order having operation control key same for every operation. But if this control key changes for any operation, then the update termination error occurs and hence the requisition flag change does not happen.

Have you tried by changing the configuration so as the sytem not to generate excise invoice automatically in the background? If so, were you able to save the billing document successfully?

Error in IW32 transaction

Hi all,
I am having a problem in TECO ing a service order. I have done the configuration required for the settlement rules to get generated. When I release the order and settle it the order is getting settled. But when I am trying to TECO the order (and then settle it) its giving me the error
Order cannot be completed; account assignment not maintained
Message no. IW177
Diagnosis
You want to complete the PM order from a technical view. This is not possible, however, since the settlement rule for the PM order is not correct or has not yet been maintained.
System Response
The system cannot perform the function.
Procedure
Carry out the following four steps:
1. Maintain or correct the settlement rule.
To do this, in the maintenance order select Header -> Settlement rule.
2. This takes you to the screen Maintain Settlement Rule: Distribution Rules.
3. Make all the necessary and desired entries for the settlement rule and return to the maintenance order.
4. Complete the maintenance order.
Can anyone help please help me with this.

I have tried to print the pick list several times, in development, test, and production systems. It fails with the same error each time.
Do you have any ideas why this error occurs, is there any special IMG activity or PLM configuration that I could check to see if some printer settings are wrong?

Incorrect account assignment for service PR after IW32 save

One service PR was created thourgh Tcode IW32 by BDC program (recorded through SHDB). Account assignment data of Service PR is absolutly correct and remains the same for the further PR & PO processing.
In case of any changes in the service PR through IW32 (again BDC program), GL account of Service PR is not getting derived and Gl account becomes null subsequently commitment item is not getting derived.
IW32 save is getting failed by error message 'No commitment item is derived/entered for item.......'.
By searching SAP OSS Notes, found 2 nos. similar notes 802965 & 956751 but both are alreay corrected through support package ECC6.0 - 006. our support package is 013.
This nature of problem is facing through IW32 transaction (without BDC program). Unable to find any errors in IW32 change BDC.
Unable to understand the problem. Please help.

Error when printing work order with iw32

Hello all,
When i was printing work order using IW32, the order success to be saved but it can't be printed. And i get this error message :
Express document "Update was terminated" received from author ...
i check with T-Code SM13, and i found error on
PM_ORDER_PRINT_CONTROL
further, i go check to ABAP Short dump, and found the error analysis
A RAISE statement in the program "SAPLSFES " raised the exception
condition "CONTROL_FLUSH_ERROR".
Since the exception was not intercepted by a superior program
in the hierarchy, processing was terminated.
have anyone know the OSS or have some experience to solve this problem ? hope you can help me..

The issue is no application issue but BC one. are you using Office 2007 or 2003 or 2010?
please first check the information from OSS note 1237688, and see if entries exist for the Office release document classes (for exmple docx, xlsx etc.) in OAD2.

Error while assigning fcode in enahncement screen in IW32

Hi Experts,
I have a very strange problem. I am enhancing the txn IW32. I have the screen exit where in I have added fields in the enhancment tab. Now, i have a situation where in i have three radio buttons and certain fields. On selecting one of the three radio buttons, some fields should be hidden. FOr this, i assigned FCODE to the radio buttons. But when the PAI of the screen is called after selecting the radio button, the control does not go back to PBO and i get an error saying "Requsting function PLP (my fcode) is not available here". THis error comes even for fcode of the push button i have created.
I guess this has somthing to do with using fcode in screen exits. Pls help as this is an urgent requirement.

Error printing pick list from IW32

Hi all,
When trying to print pick list from transaction IW32, I get this error message:
Express document "Update was terminated" received from author ...
When I checked out this error message in SM13, I found this:
Transaction code: IW32
Module name (function): PM_ORDER_PRINT_CONTROL
Status: Update was terminated
Raise exception: KEY_NOT_FULLY_SPECIFIED (Complete key not entered)
The shop paper (pick list) is customer defined (Z*) under application area O (Maintenance orders). This shop paper is set up to print to a certain printer, P1, and printing other PLM documents on this output device works fine.
Does anyone have an idea what can be causing this error?

"Update Termination" error when TECO is been done to Workorders in IW32

Hi Everyone,
I am facing some problem with IW32, what has happened is when I create a notifiaction and simulatenously do a TECO(technically completed) to a workoder in IW32, i get a error Update terminated.
I problem is it is not cretaing th notification too, after when i create a notification and click on TECO icon, it leave the IW32 screen and says Order#XXXX and Notification %000000000001 saved.
Note that recently the support pack has been applied to the system(ECC 6.0)
so when i freshly create a WO# and create a notification and do teco immediately i do not have any problem and notification too gets created.
I have problem only those WO# s which was created before support pack and notification and teco done now(i.e. after supprot pack is applied) .
Please help me on this, every day this seems to be a problem i get a couple tickets on this and unable to rectify this error

I forgot to add the error that causes Upadte terminte,
when i looked in SM13, it says Notification Missing, Since notification and teco happening simulataneously this is happening, but why is that when notification created and done Teco before and after Support pack works..
where as the WO# create before and notification and teco done later has problem..
is it some cofig problem..

Deletion of component in IW32 - DUMP ERROR due to purchase requisition ??

I created a PM order in IW31 with a component that is linked to a purchase requisition. The P.R. is not released. I want to delete this component in IW32 but when I try to, I get the following error message: Is it a functional issue or a basis issue ?

The current application triggered a termination with a short dump.

that is what you have to analyze.
Goto ST22 for this. read the dump content. the first 8 pages will give you the most info.
it can be caused by program error of SAP, then you should search OSS to find a solution.
The dump gives you information about the keywords you should use for the search.

RAISE_EXCEPTION error in iw31 iw32 iw34 iw36

Hi guys,
My problem is that I am getting RAISE_EXCEPTION error in my development when ever i am trying to acces standard transaction like iw31, iw32, iw34, iw36 from my program .

Check the dump if any in st22. Go to active call and event and then try to find out the root cause.

Maintenance Order Components Error IW32

Hi all,
Please guide me on below error log:
while going into components from IW32 screen against maintenance order number (It is against functional location only) - it is giving an error ::
Business transaction could not be carried out
Reference object for business object not allowed
(Highlighting Function Location <name>)
Blue flag appears.

You have set the functional location Deletion Flag status...
thats why you are not able to create a order...
it does not depends on components tab...
When u enter the functional location click a enter, it will display a error message. Message display will be like this..

IW32: Error getting message (Text for order header not maintain in lang.EN

Hello All,
We just starting getting this message in IW32 and IW33 stating (Text for order header not maintained in language EN) then all the pre-existing description test disappeared.
We have not done any configuration change in this particular system.

Hi,
As with most SAP messages it is always a good idea to trust what it is saying.
The system is telling you that KG has not been created in the English language.
Go to transaction CUNI to check the settings.
Select the Unit of measure for "MASS" (from the drop down list) and check the entries for UOMs.
KG should be there and should have an English description (the message said it was not there for EN)
If it is there and set up correctly then there might have been something else in the UOM field? You didn't enter " KG" did you (a blank character then KG?)
