I have defined a function like this Problem wht i am facing here is only the first If Condition works fine when it comes to the second condition i.e(else if condition) it is not working please let me know how to resolve this problem

Calling Java function from java script function

I have a jsp in which on button click i am calling a java script function. now there is some data that i want to insert in a table on click of the same button. But in order to do that i need to write java code. but if i write java code inside the script function that is called on button click it doesnt work. what i understand is that i need to make a java function inside the jsp & call that from the script function. can someone tell me how to do that ?

Here where i am printing the date i had to get the value from the js function. how to do that. plz help me....Are you talking about server-side java code (servlets/jsp) or client side (applet)? Given we are in the JSP forum I'll assume we're talking server side.
If so, you are making a common but fundamental mistake. JavaScript executes on the client, not on the server. If you want client data on the server it has to get there somehow. The simplest way to do this in JSP land is via HTTP. So... have your JavaScript code call a JSP (or servlet) and pass the value you want as a URL parameter. Of course this will also change the browser location, so if you don't want this to happen use a frame or iframe to capture your HTTP request.
For example:

We have developed web portal using classic ASP and java/vb script. We used to run it absolutely fine using Internet Explorer 8. Now we just migrated to Internet Explorer 11. But after that no java script functionality is working in our
web portal.
Our web server is configured on windows 2003 server and IIS version 6.0 and has .net Framework (Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727).

Have you tested this web portal in compatibility mode, Tools\Compatibility view settings? or click F12 to use the developer tool, change the the document mode and user agent string to 8, check the result.
And under Tools\Internet Options\Security\Custom level, scroll down to "Scripting", enable "Active Scripting".

On 14.0.1 I have a bookmark which calls a java script function to prompt for input, build and call a dynamic URL. This has worked fine until last update of FF. It works fine if I right click and select Open in a New Tab, or new window. It works fine if I am in any other website and click it. It only does not work, if I open a new blank tab or window, and then click it from inside that new tab. Then it does nothing. Same happens whether the "New tab Page" is displayed or not. Same happens in safe mode.

How can I call the Java Script method from Applet. This should work both on IE and NN running on both Windows NT and solaris. I know it is possible to call the function in Java script using JSObject. But I don't have JSObject at run time. Please let me know how to call Java Script function from applet without using JSObject.

Render a HTML page header and body
It has 2 metods:

I think you can decompile this class or get the source from oracle and add your javascript code into this method.

After that i called the javascript function in to forms as
WEB.JAVASCRIPT_EVAL_EXPR('webclose.manageWindows();');
When running the form it showing error
FRM-92190: JavaScript is unable to evaluate expression.
If anybody knows pls help me.>
This error has nothing to do with Forms, it is an JavaScript error.
Most likely cause is this line
if (url.length) {url.length returns a Whole number and so the conditions would be
if (url.length > 0) {Or

Hello, I need to change SelectOneRadio value within a javascript function. But it doesn't seem to work for me. Can someone tall me what I did wrong or how to get this?

Does it work for you? I tryed getElementsByName("myform:myRadio")[1].value="1"; No errors but the screen doesn't show that radio button is "on". I also created another function to go through the form object and try to set the attribute but no luck. From screen, I still don't see the option is selected(or on). I have :

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit") -

Has any seen collection issues after 11g database upgrade?
We do have an SR open. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced collection issues after upgrading the db to 11g? Our technical folks are hoping it is something else but for the past few weeks we have seen random issues stemming from collections.

MBP keeps slowing down after some uptime
