Error in Oracle Apex 4.2:GET_STMT error. ORA-56720: I/O data limit exceeded

I have a workspace on apex.oracle.com
I tried to copy an application. It gives me
GET_STMT error. ORA-56720: I/O data limit exceeded - call aborted:281:0

How to solve this?

Error on /pls/apex/wwv_flow.show HTTP-404 ORA-06550: line 25, c

Following on from the previous problem I had with Error 33331, we moved the application to a new APEX installation. Everything was fine for 30 mintes until
we started getting this error :-
PLS-00306: wrong number or types of arguments in call to 'SHOW'
I've put in tracing in the httpd.conf file at info level and switched on mod_plsql tracing. Everything went fine for another 40 minutes but we're now getting the same errors, the following is one of the mod_plsql trace files.
I have a hunch caching is at the root of the problem ?

ODI Error Table and Error Message (Oracle CKM) & Max number of errors

i am two questions that i hope you can give me some hints.
-> Within an ODI Interface, while on tab 'verifications' i choose 100% of maximum allowed errors (pressing checbox % and typing 100), this does not allows errors at all, Instead, i see in Operator that the Interface failed because it reached the maximum allowed errors.
-> The tricky one: I was looking in Oracle CKM, and i cannot find any information about where odiref.getFK("MESS") is contructed. Is the output of this method call changeable? Where this Error Message is build and how can i customize it?

Ans: Problem is with interface execution got error out but not for reached the maximum allowed errors, for your clarification can you please delete old session error from operator and try to execute interface, (Expected result may be error out session in operator but not for reached maximum allowed errors)

Oracle.jbo.RowCreateException: JBO-25017: Error while creating a entity row

Hi all,
I'm new to OAF,
I have created a Page, In that i have an LOV to a Message Text input box and it returns values to another 6 text boxes from my custom table(1). and in the same page i have some radio buttons also check boxes and "save","cancel" buttons.here i have created another custom table(2) for store these values if i click save button it has to store the page values to custom table(2) columns.
But i tried my level and i got the an error message oracle.jbo.RowCreateException: JBO-25017: Error while creating a entity row
can anyone help me to resolve it.

Hi Saravana,
you mean to say that
" to display values on the page you are using table1" and when you click on save button "you want to store the same values into Table2".
if this is the case, we can do this.
what you need to do is:
1) create EO for Table2.
2) Create VO based on Above VO.
3) Attach this VO to AM(for which you have attached Table1 VO).
when you click on "Save" Button,
programmatically assign values from Table1 VO to Table2 VO.
and commit the transaction.

Error with Oracle temp file after Offline restore

Hi,
I did a offline backup of my Oracle 9I database after shutting down the DB. After I restore the offline file system backup, I saw the following error in alter.log:
"ORA-01186: file 255 failed verification tests
ORA-01122: database file 255 failed verification check
ORA-01110: data file 255: '/oracle/SED/sapdata1/temp_1/temp.data1'
ORA-01205: not a data file - type number in header is 0
File 255 not verified due to error ORA-01122"
When I did a query I got the following error :
"SQL> select * from dba_temp_files;
select * from dba_temp_files
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-01187: cannot read from file 255 because it failed verification tests
ORA-01110: data file 255: '/oracle/SED/sapdata1/temp_1/temp.data1'
I know how to recover it but Why is this so ? Is this normal when I restore the offline backup file including the temp.data1 ?

This is just one more brilliant laser beam example of why RMAN is the only tool that should be used for backup and recovery once you are on 9i or higher versions.

Ora-06502 pl/sql numeric or value error in Report Query in oracle apex

I need your help...
ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small
I am using bi publisher to generate PDF reports in oracle apex.
We were using APEX 4.0 and migrated to 4.2 just a week ago.
Now we have apex 4.2.
When I try to Create report query,
Shared Components >> Report Queries then create.
and test a report in a create wizard I am getting a error "ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small".
I have also applied a patch "16760897".
This issue is because of number of columns in a query is more then 26.
If I run a report with 26 or less number of columns then the is working fine, otherwise getting this error.
My before migration report queries working perfectly even now, but not new queries.
This issue is also in apex.oracle.com.

Oracle Application Express Installation Requirements for 4.0

Getting error while importing the application in Oracle Apex

Hi,
I am facing an issue while importing an application into my new Oracle Apex installation. Installation was successful with out any issue. I exported an application from my old Apex (version 3.0.0.00.20) and importing the same into new apex (version 3.0.1.00.08). I am getting the following error.

The requested URL /pls/apex/wwv_flow.accept was not found on this server.

When I click on import in Application Builder page and then browse the required file it gives the progress saying "Importing File" and after some time it displays the above error.
I tried bouncing the application also and there is not error in alert log.
Could any one please suggest, if there is some problem here. Or my approach is not correct.

Osacar, I recommend that you try to import the application into your workspace on apex.oracle.com and see what happens. Also, refine the problem statement as much as you can, e.g., you get this error importing "the application" or when importing "any" application. How big is the file you're trying to import? Where did it come from? Can you upload images?

It's going to be impossible for anyone in this forum to help with your issue if you don't provide any more detail about your environment and Apex installation. However, from your post it looks like the Apex database objects are missing or invalid.
Did you follow the Apex installation guide step by step? For example, did you run apexins.sql?
It's important to follow the documentation. The script you are running to change the admin user password should not be run until after the Apex installation is complete.

Integrating Google Maps in Oracle Apex and 404 Not found error page

Currently using APEX version 3.2.0.00.27 installed in OracleXE version 10.2.0.1.0. Have been attempting to recreate some examples of Google Maps within APEX. Found a nice set of examples here that build up to what I'm looking to ultimately do by incorporating google maps into APEX:

Unfortunatly, I'm getting the "404 Not Found, Not found, The requested URL /apex/wwv_flow.accept was not found on this server" page when I try to recreate the "Map with Search" example. I'd like to see if this really works using the html input and button tags in the body/region source versus creating APEX items to pass the address values to the javascript in the html header of the apex page. I'm thinking it's just an html thing within APEX that you have to do it a certain way, but I haven't managed to hit that magic combination. have gone to the google maps api v2 and looked at the html they use (it's what these examples with apex are based on) and tried that just to see. Same 404 result.
I've seen suggestions at this forum and elsewhere that the 404 error is due to a bug. have been to metalink, and really haven't seen anything that spells out what the bug is and how to patch it or work around it. May be I just haven't found the right note/doc yet. have seen suggestions to change something associated with the Anonymous account that APEX uses. Have turned on authentication in the application to use an APEX user account with a logon page to the application. Still get the 404. Although, I have not adjusted anything elsewhere, like a DADS config file, because the apex/xe configuration is using the plsql gateway. Not sure of any procedure for changing settings on anonymous account when using plsql gateway.
Open to suggestions. APEX 3.2 is customer version, so going to 4 may not be an option yet. XE, on the other hand, can certainly be swapped for an 11g version standard or enterprise edition if need be. I don't think this is a db version problem though. I think it's more on the APEX side of things.
Anyway, any help or suggestions are appreciated.

Error # 3021 - Invalid Relation. --- MS Access to Oracle APEX

Hello everybody.
I have 3 years working with Oracle APEX and now I have the need to migrate an Access database to Oracle and APEX.
I have:
- MS Access 2003 database
- Oracle SQL Developer 3.0.04.34
- Oracle 10g Database
I will try to provide all the relevant information.
I used the Access Exporter for Access 2003 tool from Oracle SQL Developer to creat both .xml (for SQL Dev) file and .sql file (for APEX) but the process show me an error mesassge that said: "Error # 3021 - Invalid Relation. No current record".
I read in OTN forum that it was because the migration tool can not access the system tables and that I need to modify permisions to allow "Read Data". I did this process and I was able to create .xml file, however if I chose Application Express to create .sql file or the option to create both files the same error shows.
I have been reading in this forum but didn't find a way to solve it.
Does any body knows how to solve this issue?
Any help is appreciated.

I can't reproduce your issue.
Have you double-checked that the tables MSysAccessObjects, MSysACEs, MSysObjects, MSysQueries and MSysRelationships are visible and that the Admin user has at least Read Design and Read Data permission on those tables?
If that is the case, and the problem still happens, and you are able to give a copy of your .mdb file to Oracle, then I suggest to open a Service Request with Oracle Support so that the issue can be investigated.

Perhaps if you post relevant code from your Authentication process, there might be a hint in there.
What makes you think it's coming from process or validation? Maybe also post one of the offending processes?

Error upgrading from APEX 4.0.1.00.03 to 4.1.1

I receive this error. In my opinion the problem could be related to the presence of one personalized authentication schemas, based on a DB function, taken from a Packaged application, some years ago, called "menu_framework".
This is the error report:

I think this has something to do with your database and now APEX is affected. I don't think it is an APEX issue. Which version of database are you using? Maybe you should patch it to a more stable version.

Creating PDF (FOP) from report in Apex 3.0 generates Error 500 (solved!)

Hi, I have installed apex 3.0 , no errors, followed the installationguide for standard support printerserver (FOP) and OC4J (standalone downloaded) is up and running. 
 
However, when I click print, I get a 1 byte PDF with the text:

I know it's a longshot, but anyone have a clue what might be wrong? Apex is configured to access the apex_fop.jsp as well. and everything is unzipped where it should be and all that.

Small update again,
I skipped using the downloadable oc4j/j2ee and tried using the one that came with 10.2.0.1 installation (patched to 10.2.0.3)
It starts up fine saying:
07/03/28 21:31:27 Oracle Application Server Containers for J2EE 10g (9.0.4.1.0) initialized
It started up all well with the downloadable latest containers too, but got different errors running the apex_fop.jsp file.
well with the version that came with the database it says in the PDF file after I tried to generate it from a report:
Error 500:
java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: Bad version number in .class file
Anyone got any idea?
