Error in print output of smartform

i have designed a smartform for packilist...In the output if a material has 1 batch number then the output is coming...but if a material has multiple batch numbers not getting the output....and the same error for proforma invoice also...if it has multiple line items the output is not coming....i want all the line items to be printed in same form....can anyone help me regarding this....

Hello Venkat,
First of all check whether all batch numbers for that material are coming in the code or not.
To do this,put a break point in the code and execute.
If batch numbers are not coming then retreive them first and allot space to print those batch numbers in the form.

Check if your data is ok, meaning that you indeed have an address maintained for the ship-to of this delivery.

Character conversion error in PDF output of smartform

Hi all,
I am printing slaes order confirmation through smartform, they are based on two message type - ZBA0 (for Printing) and ZBA1 (for e-mail). the print option of smartform is coming fine, but the problem is when i am e-mailing the Order as pdf attachment. i need to print conferma du2019ordine. in itlian, but its printing conferma d# ordine.
Kindly suggest how to rectify the error, how to check the encoding format used and see where ' is geting converted to #.
Ii hope i am clear. in case of doubt please revert.

Thanks for the information, i got the same thing on SAP notes also, but could you give me a hint as to how to see if it is supported for italian ?? or should i take the most common font like Arial, times new roman and assume it would be supported ?

Wondows are getting blackened on the printer Output in smartform

HI ,
whenever i see the print preview of the form output its looks fine o me ,but when i am printingt on printer its "Blackening few windows" which has got headers in it.
Cna anybody let me know th solution for this.

Hi everyboy,
I have the same problem. I create a smartform and print preview in screen shows all data and windows ok, but we try print in two differente printers and shows black windows.
I already change headers color but printing did not change, when I change saturation to a differrent percentage print with dot points in the area but cant print with solid color in cell.
Is there any idea to solve this? I download the form to have a backup, this action could affect some format in the form?

Declare your currency field as a Currency
Global DefinitionsCurrency Quantity Fields-there give your currency field and set as a CURR then it will work

it gives one pop also saying... Work process restarted; Session terminated.

Error in VF03 while printing "Output could not be issued"?

Hi all,
getting error while printing invoice VF03. Error is "Output could not be issued".
Print privew is coming fine in both side either Smartform or VF03. If I try to print, then system giving the message is Output could not be issued.
How to resolve this problem? Help me out.

Check out put is definded in line item of invoice.
Also check wheter output type is definded or in t.code nact, Application is V3, check which output type is definded for your case billing document type.

Find smartform error - not printing from transaction

Hi
I have a little problem with a smartform .. that I don't know which is .. this because when I try the print from SMARTFORMS transaction, it works, for some data works correctly and for some other data, the print is not shown. I think there is an error in that case (functional guys told me it's mine problem) but I don't know ho w to get the error message that occurred. can anybody help me please?
I tried to search the forum before posting, because I think there should be a way for analyzing this kind of error, but probably I used wrong words, because I cannot find anything .. so sorry if the question has already been asked and answered (I hope)

Hi Gabriele,
It is hard to give an answer which solves your problem.
In most cases as the smartform sometimes with different forms the cause is that 1 or more fields are overfilled.
Like a too long variable in a to small field.
You must try to find out in which part of the smartform the problem occurs. One of the ways to do that is to shriinken the output part by part (with (output-)conditions) until you get a printed output. Then the problem is in the lastpart you have out-conditioned.
I know it is not an easy job but for error finding iin smartforms is hard.

I have a request to create on ouput device which can copy the spool request to desired location in application server. Our server is not connected to any physical server and is windows NT.
I am tring to create ACCESS TYPE 'L' with host printer name '__default'.
I am using control set to copy file at desired location on server

Print output throwing up an error

I have been able to generate print word output from Robohelp projects without any issues. But since yesterday, I am seeing this error at the end of the print output process. I can still see the Word output, but I don't know why this compilation error is appearing. Please guide.

The printed file saves in the SSL subfolder of the project folder as usual and also opens normally.
Generating to a different location also throws up the same error, but the word file is saved.
I am facing the same issue with another project as well. After doing a thorough analysis of why this could be happening, I came to the conclusion that this error could be due to the size of the documents I am dealing with. The output files of these two docs are in excess of 800 pages. However, when I remove some parts of the document, the output is generated without the error message. But, the portions I remove occupy the maximum number of pages in the output document.
I am able to proceed with the post-processing steps on the saved word files, but I would like to eliminate these internal errors and compilation messages. I fear there could be something in the saved files that could create problems later on.
Please advise.

Error OutOfMemoryError occurs when i am printing output in Jtextarea

I have created a swing application In which i have used Jtextarea component to print output using thread. To write output i m using append method. When thread print the output in text area. After some time i am getting an error
Java.lang.OutOfMemoryError.
How can i remove this error.

Printing smartform through spool - preview with boxes, print output without

Hello fellows,
Situation:
I have custom report, which prints custom smartform. Everything works well, but customer basis had implemented some supporstack packages and now the preview of smartform is still ok with frame boxes of windows elements, but when user click on print button, then the print output (hardcopy, or pdf) is without these boxes. Printing is made through LOCL device and spool.
Propositions:
I am just developer and from my point of view, problem is not in smartform or report, but in some basis settings. This is not my field so I need advice, what should I do (check)... ?
Is there same SAP note for these kind of issues?

Additional information
In SPAD transaaction I changed for LOCL device hostpooll assignment from F: FRONT-END PRINTING to G: FRONT-END PRINTING WITH CONTROLS.
When report call SMARTFORM, sends also control parameters and with these setting print all BOXEs.
But customer wants this setting on F, not for G because of other forms.
Why my report works before well and after basis update not?

Extended classic scenario - PO print output

Please help me. We have SRM 5.5 (SAPKIBT11) the extended classic scenario.
Could you please tell me Can I print the PO from Web GUI?
If in the Web GUI Output area in PO I set indicator Printer, and to set in Output Pushbutton, in Log I have status - Successfully processed. In trx SP01 the spool status - Compl. But the PO smartforms don't print.
PS: from Output Preview button I can to print the PO smartforms, but I need to print from Output area through the Output Pushbutton. (in the trx BBP_POC or BBP_PPF).

How to write print program for smartforms

Hi all
I need to develop new smartform and its print program.
But Im not experience in writing print program for smartform.
Ive gone through the simple print program sample that use only one table as input and one table for output.
But my smartforms require few tables for input and output.
How should I define the Data?
Can anyone guide me on how to write it.
