Error in printing data on first page

Hi
I'm trying to print following data in my smartform,
Country Code | City.
I have a internal table with above structure and i want to have a page break after country code changes.
For e.g my data is as follows,
Country Code | City
001               | City1
001               | City2
001               | City3
002               | City4
002               | City5
I have inserted a table loop and im looping the contents of internal table into wa , I have also defined an event of page break whenever country code changes.
I want to have my output as follows,
Country Code : 001
city1
city2
city3
Country Code: 002
city4
city5.
However it is printing as follows,
Country Code :
city1
city2
city3
Country Code: 002
city4
city5.
i.e. on the very first page it doesnt have the value of country code in wa.
Any idea how to solve above problem? Kindly help !

Hi mac,
In the main window --> loop : data tab --> use the event begin for the country code and in the text node drag and drop the field of the country and below the country text node create text node for the output text drag and drop the other fields.

I have about 1,500 PDF files (scientific papers) that I need to print only the first page of... Any suggestions on how to do this as a single job or as a few jobs? Make sure that in System Preferences Printing & Fax pane you set the default printer to the one you want to use, then put all of these PDF files into their own folder, then open terminal and type the following (without hitting return afterward):
lpr -o page-ranges="1-1"
Then drag one of the PDF files into the terminal window (it will add it's path to the end of your command) and replace the file name with *.pdf, so it will look like this:
lpr -o page-ranges="1-1" /Users/todd/Documents/My\ Folder/*.pdf
Then hit return.

Forms that previously worked, print a blank first page.

I have numerous forms that were created in LiveCycle Designer 8 that worked perfectly, but suddenly they all are printing a blank first page. When I am in LiveCycle in the Design view, I am able to print both pages but when I go to the Preview PDF view, the first page is blank on print preview. I'm stumped. There are no security settings around printing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This seemed to be a property that is causing an additional page to be printed.. If you can send the form to [email protected] , I can have a look at it..

What version of iOS are you using? Some people were having this problem before, and it was fixed when they updated to iOS 5.

How to: Print table on first page, use second page (back) for text only

Hi, I am looking for a clear document on how to use pagination and the Odd and Even pages.
We need to print a table over several pages, but only on Odd pages.
On the back of each page we need to print "Terms and Conditions". Is that possible? Can it be done without scripting
We are on ADOBE version 8.1
In the file properties, double sided is switched on, and version set to 8.1 and higher.
I created two Master pages, a FrontPage with ContentArea1and a BackPage with ContentArea2.
FrontPage is used for uneven pages, BackPage is used for the even pages. The masterpages are printed correctly (alternating properly).
Two pages were created for the content area's:
ITEMS: contains item data (table with header and footer). Place is "On Odd Page". After "Goto page BackPage". And if the table needs to be paginated it goes to BackPage with overflow leader "Conditions".
CONDITIONS: contains a textfield (Terms and Conditions). Place is "On Even Page". After "Goto page FrontPage". No overflow.
What should happen is that on the front pages the item table is printed. If there are too many lines it should overflow to page number 3 then 5 etc. All the even pages should display the text.
What actually happens is that the item table also gets printed in the content area for the Condition text...
Also the "Conditions" are not printed on the last back page. But only once before it...

Fixed it... After a lot of creating, deleting, playing around with pagination and the inevitable cursing...
I have created 5 pages:
1. FirstPage
     - Odd/Even: Odd (Front) Pages
     - Placement: First page (In page set)
2. FrontPage (For Odd pages)
     - Odd/Even: Odd/Front Pages
     - Placement: Rest of Pages
3. BackPage (For Even pages)
     - Odd/Even: Even (Back) Pages
     - Placement: Rest of Pages
4. LastPage
     - Odd/Even: No Odd/Even Restrictions
     - Placement: Last page (In page set)
5. DummyPage
     - Odd/Even: Blank pages
The 'Terms and conditions' are located on the BackPage and LastPage (as a text).
The table that is printed is (of course) located on a normal page (flowed subform).
Pagination tab: Placement = Following previous, and After = "Continue filling parent". No overflow... Basically, it's all default.
The table lines will now start on the first page and if there are more lines than can be printed on this page, it will continue in the next content area. That will be on the FrontPage.
The trick is that each master page must have a content area (mandatory). Except for Blank pages, but these cannot be used... Blank pages would only be used once, after the first page.
What I discovered is that you can drag a content area away from the Master page and attach it to a different master page.
Logically, if there is no content area on a page, then data cannot be printed there. So, I created a Dummypage. On this page I dumped the content areas from the LastPage and the BackPage. As a result, content cannot be printed anymore on the back of pages. Only the standard text (a text field) is printed there. When the data from the table is overflowing, it will automatically overflow from the FirstPage to the next content area. Which is located on the FrontPages only.
The DummyPage is NOT used anywhere.
The result is that the records can only be printed on the content areas that exist on the First and Front pages. The back pages are now skipped.
Duplex printing is now working correctly, and the text is printed on the back of all the pages.

HP 8500 A Plus only prints half of first page from my mac

When I print wireless from my mac it only prints half of the first page (regardless of how many pages the document is) then stops. This only happes with my computer. If I make a copy or print from my phone everything works fine. I've had this printer for about 2 years and this is a new issue that didn't used to happen. I do not get any error messages when this happens.
Any ideas?

There is no full feature software and driver for your printer that is compatible with Yosemite @1Adam12 , so we know the issue is not the software. Let's try the following steps in order to resolve this;
Reset Printing System
Click the Apple icon (   ), and then click System Preferences.
In the Hardware section, click Print & Fax/Scan. The Print & Fax/Scan dialog box opens.
Right-click (or  Ctrl  +click) in the left panel, and then click Reset printing system…
Click OK to confirm the reset.
Type the correct Name and Password.
Click OK to reset the printing system. The Print & Fax dialog box shows no printer selected
Note: This will remove all printers in the print and Fax/Scan, any printer removed can be re-added later by clicking the plus (+) symbol.
Repair Disk Permissions
On the Dock, click Applications, and then click Utilities.
Double-click Disk Utility.
Highlight your hard drive/partition on the left (by default this is "Macintosh HD").
Click the Repair Disk Permissions button at the bottom of the window.
Once the repair is complete, restart the computer and download and install the HP Printer Drivers for OS X.
Now when you add the printer, you should have the HP driver to choose,
Select Add other Printer or Scanner
Select the printer you are adding and next to 'Use' you can the printer driver
Please let me know if you can print a complete job now.

Create an Action with the following JS command:
this.print({bUI: false, nStart: 0});
This will cause the first page of all the files you process with this Action to be sent to your default printer.
If you need to specify more complex parameters, you'll need to use a more complex code...

Cheque printing only on first page

Hi,
Iam a newbie in XML/BI Publisher. I am doing a AP Cheque printing. In the report I have to print the invoice lines and at the bottom of first page I need to print the cheque. I did all necessary stuffs for this in the RTF template.
But now the cheque is getting printed in the second page if the lines comes to the second page or after printing the lines if there is no space for the cheque then its getting printed in the next page.
Can anyone guide me how to print the cheque only in the first page bottom alone.
The sample output which I needs is like this,

Hmm,
There is no way you can say fix that and show this only in first page.
but you can achieve it.
1st method.
give enough space for the check in the first page, by reducing the no of lines in the first page, so that you can accommodate the cheque .
for this, you can do like,
if the position is less than 9 and mod of postion is zero , that means you are in 9 line, then call a sub-template and after that you can put a page-break. this condition is for first page only.
now put an another if condition here, if the position is > 9 and position mod X is zero, then put a page break. x is no of lines to be displayed in 2nd, 3rd, 4th pages.
2nd method.
put the differnet header and footer for first pge.
and cal the sub-template in footer of first page.
in tht sub-template you have the check.

Hi all,.. I have to print the total of all the line items on the first page o fthe cheque. The problem is when the line items exceed the main window of the first page , the total sum and the number in words in this case comes on the next page. What do i do????

Try to put the totals field in the BOTTOM and ENDBOTTOM.
or
Place Total tax and Total amount in separate footer window whose location is at the bottom of main window. Now write the code inside that window as given below.
PF Total tax &<total_variable>.
PF Total Amount &total_amount_variable&.

Printing fails when first page number not 1

I am working on system 10.3.3, with an ibook G4, using Appleworks 6.2.9. I need to print some documents in succession, I don't want to merge them to one, because they are large, and anyway I prefer separate chapters to be separate documents.
I went to "Format-Document-page numbering start at page", and changed to the proper number. When I try and print, I get only the first page and then it stops. I have tried it also on another computer, working with Tiger, same problem. I tried to see Preview - same thing, I only see the first page, same thing if I save as PDF from the print command. Any idea? I trashed preferences, and re-set them, so this is not the problem.
Another issue, but I don't want to start yet another topic - is it possible to prepare a Table of Contents in appleworks, in the same manner that Word does it? i.e. ask it to create table of contents by choosing specific Heading styles, or through the outline menu? I have been trying this for a long time, and found no answer in any of the help topics.

Using my epson stylus photo 830SU, the feature works perfectly.
Two tracks:
- 1 - corrupted preferences
- 2 - driver running wrongly. It would be fine to tell us which printer is used.
About the TOC feature, there is not such feature in AW.

Printing issues with first page, only prints part of page

I dont know if this is the right place to ask, but I figured i would give it a shot:
I have a computer running parallels with an OSX supported (and windows supported) HP printer. When I am printing an email from Outlook Express, the first page gets cutoff, but all of the other pages are fine. the cutoff happens on the right hand side.
I recently updated to SP3 and IE8, which I have heard controls the settings for Outlook.
I have tried using a regular printer, and also tried CUTE PDF writer, which also "prints" the document in the same manner.
Any thoughts would be appreciated or if you know where to go for support that would be great too

When accessing Great West Life site to print my claims history, Firefox prints only the first page of a multi-page claim.

Implementing Database codes FAIL /error in parsing data into jsp page

I have this problem trying to build a portal application. I am using the JSPDynPage, jsp page and a bean to build a page.
I have this problem parsing data from JSPDynPage to the beans and to the jsp page.
I tested out the connection between the beans and the jsp page. There is no error parsing information from the beans to the jsp page.
So i tried to test out the codes for the database from the beans.
Will this work? Because it does not display the results i want.
I need an Solution asap to find out wad is wrong also also the correct codes to the database.

ActiveX Printer Error when print large number of page

Hi,
I have this problem when developing the report on my project.
I developed the Crystal Report embedded in Visual Studio 2008 to be displayed in web form.
I'm using .NET and the operating system of the development computer is Windows 7 32 bit.
The problem is, I have a quite complex report displaying the statement for the customer which is result in 209 pages.
When the report has successfully loaded, I simply click the print icon and it comes up with the error "A communication error occurred. Printing will be stopped"
But, after that...I tried something different, when the report has successfully loaded, I went through the report by moving for every 30 pages until it reaches the last page and click the print icon. and it prints without any errors!
Anybody knows what caused this?
By the way, I'm using the ActiveX printing mode for the Crystal Report.

I'm thinking there is something not processed in the report so forcing the report to process everything up to the last page before printing may help. Try the following code before sending the report to the viewer:

This may slow down the time it takes for the report to come up as the whole report will need to be processed, formatted, etc.
Also, make sure you have SP 1 for CR 10.5:
