Error in running ibots - advise steps to configure BI scheduler
Hi All,
Can anyone help me to rectify the below error while tried to create ibots using OBIEE 10.1.3.4.1 ?
+++ ThreadID: 13ac : 2011-02-07 23:47:08.171 [nQSError: 77006] Oracle BI Presentation Server Error: A fatal error occurred while processing the request. (08004) Error Codes: . Error Codes: AGEGTYVF +++ ThreadID: 13ac
I have followed all the steps mentioned in the material but i dont know what went wrong, if possible can anyone mention the series of steps to configure the BI scheduler.
Thank you,
Sudhakar
Did you try looking at the Administrator username and password in the Job Manager Configuration screen?
The error message "Authentication failed for Administrator in repository Star: invalid user/password" simply says that the userID and password do not match the same settings in the repository.
Refer to this thread
Could not create a Job with BI Scheduler

Hi, I am trying for this for last two days. but not able solve this.

Importing XI content
Description
Exception in step "INVOKEIMPRTCNTNT"
Exception details : com.sap.aii.util.misc.api.ResourceException: Connection to system Integration Builder using application CMS-Transport lost. Detailed information: Error accessing "http://INLD50046921A:50000/rep/cmstransport/int?" with user "ESRCMSCE1". Response code is 500, response message is "Internal Server Error"
I tried two or three times I got the same error then i canceled.
Now I am not able to start the configuration process gain.
Any body who has completed the configuration process please help me in this.
Regards
SatyaHi,
I think the problem can be solved by downloading from the marketplace and importing the content manually.
Here is a description of the process:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwesrce/helpdata/en/44/5755451622311ee10000000a155369/content.htm
The exception was because we didnt have the needed files (correct me if I am wrong) (The import can be done before or after running the configuration wizard)
Best regards,

Error while running OBIA configuration configApps.bat
I am receiving error while running configapps.bat.
I have the following wnvironment installed:
64 Bit windows
Java 6 (JDK1.6.x)
Weblogic server 10.3.6 in software only mode
Ran OBIEE 11.1.1.7.0 RCU utility to create BIPLATFORM and MDS schemas.
configured OBIEE 11.1.1.7
Installed ODI 11.1.1.7 with All components and “Skip Repository Configuration”
Ran OBI Apps RCU to create schemas for:
ODI Master and Work Repositories (DEV_BIA_ODIREPO)
Oracle Business Applications Components (DEV_BIACOMP)
Oracle Business Analytics Datwarehouse (DEV_DW)
Update to MDS schema.
Installed BI Apps 11.1.1.7.1
Applied FMW Platform Patches
Updated BIACOMP Schema with ATGLite patch scripts
Everything was up and running until now, when i try to configure OBIA via running configApps.bat, it is getting stuck at ODI configuration.
Also the server seems to be going to idle/suspended state every now and after 5-6 mins of startup and i see this message repeated again and again in server log :
<Warning> <oracle.mds> <BEA-000000> < The MDS session was created by the ADF framework with a transaction key for its "single flush" feature, and the call to flushchanges is restricted to that framework. This call does not use that transaction key and although working now, will fail with an exception in future. To find the originator of the call, set the log level for logger "oracle.mds.transkey" to FINEST. Note that the ADF framework manages the MDS session created for the request so an explicit call to flushchanges should be removed>
Has anyone encountered this issue and any idea how to resolve this.
Appreciate any help in advance ...The re-install has been successful. Didnt encounter any issues in any configuration.
However the waring still appears
<Warning> <oracle.mds> <BEA-000000> < The MDS session was created by the ADF framework with a transaction key for its "single flush" feature, and the call to flushchanges is restricted to that framework. This call does not use that transaction key and although working now, will fail with an exception in future. To find the originator of the call, set the log level for logger "oracle.mds.transkey" to FINEST. Note that the ADF framework manages the MDS session created for the request so an explicit call to flushchanges should be removed>
Also in the log i am getting the following errors as well in the Weblogic server log
BEA -101020 Servelet failed with exception Java.lang.illegalstateexception: Cannot forward a response that is already committed
Oracle.as.management.mbeans.opmn OPMN.queryProcessStatus failed with the following exception oracle.as.management.opmn.optic.OpticBadConnectionException: Failed to create secure socket for OPMN
All patches were applied successfully, including weblogic one's.
Has anyone got any idea how to resolve these issues.
Thanks in advance. -

In that case you should probably check that no other packages are missing files with
pacman -Qkk 2>&1 | grep "No such file or directory"
Any packages that report that they're missing files, you should reinstall. -

Hi experts,
I am using SAP BPC 7.0 M and facing an issue while importing a package. I am encountering the error : "Error 13 writing data in step 6: type mismatch". The package is running successfully for some files but is failing for similar other files. The data is uploading successfully on server but still it is giving an error while conversion.
Thanks,

Kamya NagpalHi All,
In continuation to the above message:
Even when the package is failing, the data is getting uploaded in the server.

I have tried to upgrade Painter 11 on my iMac running OS x 10.5.8 but get the error message : The following install step failed : run pre install script for Corel Painter11_SP1. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance "
I have contacted Corel and after several emails and one telephone call, they tell me , they cannot help but they think the problem could be with the OS.
Does anyone have any suggestions, please ?Could be many things, we should start with this...
"Try Disk Utility
1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu at top of the screen. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
*Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.*
3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
5. Click Repair Disk, (not Repair Permissions). Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."
http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=106214
Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
If perchance you can't find your install Disc, at least try it from the Safe Boot part onward. -

Error to run Configuration Wizard weblogic 12.1.2
my system is windows xp by 2 gig ram
and jvm version
C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_25\bin>java -version
java version "1.7.0_25"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_25-b17)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 23.25-b01, mixed mode, sharing)
how resolve this problem and how find log file weblogic to this error? In user environments where the path to java is not already established as an system-level environment variable, the service is unable to determine where to find java and this error will occur.
This could occur, for example, in environments where there is more than one JDK installed, or where the default JDK is different from the JDK which needs to be used by WLS.
Try to set the environment variable in windows i.e JAVA_HOME=C:\Sun\Java\jdk1.7.xx.x. to point to jdk 1.7 and run the configuration wizard.
Hope it helps!!

How to configure once data load then trigerd or run ibot?
Hi Experts,
I have a one requirement,
1) Every day run one workflow( means data load into data warehouse)
2) After, ibot should be run and delivery to users.
3) We scheduled the workflows in DAC for every day morning.
Requirement:
Once data loaded, then IBot should be run and send to users dynamically (without scheduling).
If workflow failed, IBot won’t be delivered.
How to find out or configure once data load then trigerd or run ibot?
I am using obi 10g and informatica 8 and os xp.
Advance thanks..
Thanks,
RajaHi,
Below are the details for automating the OBIEE Scheduler.
Create a batch file or Sh file with following command
D:\OracleBI\server\Bin\saschinvoke -u Administrator/udrbiee007 -j 8
-u is username/Password for Scheduler (username/password that u given while configuration)
-j is a job id number when u create a ibot it will assign the new job number that can be identified from"Jobmanager"
Refer the below thread for more information.
iBot scheduling after ETL load
Or ,
What you the above also it will work but problem is we need specify the time like every day 6.30 am .
Note: The condition report is true then the report will be delivered at 6.30 pm only but the condition is false the report will not triggered.

Gabi405 errors in the HTTP cycle
Any client goes through the following cycle:
* Obtain an IP address from the IP name of your site (your site URL without the leading 'http://'). This lookup (conversion of IP name to IP address) is provided by domain name servers (DNSs).
* Open an IP socket connection to that IP address.
* Write an HTTP data stream through that socket.
* Receive an HTTP data stream back from your Web server in response. This data stream contains status codes whose values are determined by the HTTP protocol. Parse this data stream for status codes and other useful information.
This error occurs in the final step above when the client receives an HTTP status code that it recognises as '405'.
Resolving 405 errors - general
405 errors often arise with the POST method. You may be trying to introduce some kind of input form on your Web site, but not all ISPs allow the POST method necessary to process the form.
All 405 errors can be traced to configuration of the Web server and security governing access to the content of the Web site. -
Error while running the financial report in the workspace.
Hi,
Im getting the below error while running the financial report in the workspace in HTML mode.
*"Required application module reporting.HRRunDlg is not configured. Please contact your administrator".*
And im not able to login to the Hyperion Financial Reporting as well.. i get the below error
*"You are not authorized to use this functionality. Contact your administrator"*
Can someone let me know how to resolve this error. You don't mention the version, what app server or web server you are using, etc.. That information might be helpful, but in general, you can try the following:
1. Make sure you have gone through the FR Web App deployment steps and verify the settings entered in the Config Tool.
2. For version 11.1.1.x and 9.3.1.x, try opening the report in FR Studio and running it via the FR Studio Print Preview (*bold*not*bold* Web Preview.) If the report runs/processes, then the back-end FR Services are functioning and the issue is confined to the web interface. Verify the FR Web App is up and listening on the designated port (8200, by default), check the FR Web App logs and the App Server (WebLogic, WebSphere, Tomcat, OAS) logs for errors/issues.
If the report fails to process in FR Studio Print Preview, then there is a problem with the FR Reporting Server Service. Check to make sure the service is up/functioning and check the FR Report Server logs for errors.
3. Test access to other FR functionality in workspace (ex: Files->Preferences->Financial Reporting or Explore->Tools->Database Connection Manager?) If these don't work, then try to connect to the following URLs:
http://workspaceServer:19000/hr/status.jsp
http://frWebAppServer:8200/hr/status.jsp
Note: The URLs above assume standard/default ports. You may need to adjust them for your environment.
If the first URL fails, but the second URL works, there is a problem with the HTTP redirect settings on the Web Server (Apache, IIS, etc.) Run through the Workspace deployment and make sure the Web Server Config settings point to the right ports/servers. -

Magesh.Thanks Steven.
That makes sense. Is there anything I can do to make this demo work without de-installing 10.1.3.1 Preview? Or If I also install 10.1.3.0.4 with SU5 on another folder, does that affect my 10.1.3.1 Preview version?
I'm using 10.1.3.1 Preview version to learn Oracle's SOA suite.
Thanks again,

Error , while running the Template Installer
Hi Experts,
I am getting the following error when running the Template Installer in NWA.
When i trying to save the domain information in CMS , i am getting the following error.
Unexpected error; inform your system administrator: <Localization failed: ResourceBundle='com.sap.cms.util.exception.CMSExceptionMessages', ID='SLD name-server configuration error', Arguments: []> : Can't find resource for bundle java.util.PropertyResourceBundle, key SLD name-server configuration error.
I have seen following solution in the forums.
In the SLD->Technical Landscape-> Technical System Type, select "System Landscape Directory" ensure that the SLD server you use has the 'Name Server' check box selected and right CIM Server URL is mentioned.
But i haven't find this navigation for (Technical Landscape)in my SLD again in that choosing the"System Landscape Directory" . Please let me know the correct path to fix this problem.
I have logged in to sld
http://<server>:<port>/sld
Under the "Home" -> Link having Landscape -> Technical System and Landscapes.
I have tried in both (Technical Systems and Landscapes)the places , i have nt find the "System Landscape Directory". to see the "Name Server" check box to select.
Please give the right path to select the respective check box
Please give the solution . It is urgent.
Regards
VijayHi
When you use the template installer, the users
NWDI Administration User
NWDI CMS Administration User
NWDI Development User
are automatically created and they are required. Also the steps to allocate the users to groups are automatically performed
Check the following help doc for more info
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/44/60dc1943c2311ce10000000a155369/frameset.htm
Perhaps you might try creating the groups manually as described
