Sivaram,
The error you're seeing, "BUILD FAILED D:\CM_packaging\etc\CMbuild.xml:129: Unable to delete file D:\spl\DEV_5\splapp\standalone\lib\cm.jar" is because a CC&B process was still active that had a lock on that cm.jar file. Make sure you completely shut down CC&B and any threadpoolworkers that may be running on that environment prior to using the applyCM command.

    Solution

  • Bug Report: Lr3 does not report error when SDK version is too low.

    Lr3 should report an error if SDK is under-version'd. For example, I have this in one of my plugins:
        LrSdkVersion = 2.0,
        LrSdkMinimumVersion = 2.0, -- minimum SDK version required by this plugin.
    If I put Lr3.0 specific stuff in the plugin, Lr3 does not report an error, but it should - otherwise whats the point in specifying a version.
    I have to take the plugin into Lr2 to test for inadvertent Lr3 specific inclusion mistakes. Thank goodness I'm not worrying about Lr1...

    I was able to get the install builder to build an installer for my
    Application today 6/6/07. These are the steps I performed along with good amounts of trail and error.
    1) I attempted to re-install the NI-DAQ 8.0.1 drivers however I didn't
    perform this because it said it remove NI products which I didn't want
    removed. But it didn't tell me what it would remove.
    2) Instead, I copied the entire NI-DAQ 8.0.1 distribution to a directory on my hard drive.
    3) I set the NI-DAQ 8.3 install build type to FULL in install builder.
    4) In install builder when prompted for the components from the NI-DAQ
    8.0.1 I browsed to the NI-DAQ 8.0.1 directory on the hard drive and
    also un-checked the cache box.
    5) It through another error this time saying it couldn't find
    C:\NI-DAQ8_0_1\8.0.1\Products\LabVIEW_Broker71\LVBroker71Deu.mst (and,
    LVBroker71Fra.mst, LVBroker71jpn.mst, LVBroker1071Deu,
    LVBroker1071Fra.mst, LVBroker1071jpn.mst). It also could not find the
    LVBroker1071 files in the
    C:\NI-DAQ8_0_1\8.0.1\Products\LabVIEW_Broker1071 directory either.
    6) I performed a search for these files and they did not exist in the
    NI-DAQ 8.0.1 directory on my hard drive or the 8.0.1 CD I have.
    7) These files DID exist in my NI-DAQ 8.3 directory located on my hard drive.
    8) I copied the LVBrokerxxxx.mst (listed in 5 above) files from the
    NI-DAQ 8.3 directory on my hard drive to the corresponding location in
    the NI-8.0.1 directory on my hard drive.
    9) This time when I rebuilt the installer for my application the build was successful.
    Additional information:
    When I built my application I only selected English for language
    support. In Install builder in "Dialog Information I also selected
    English.
    I haven't attempted to try the installer on my target yet so I'm not
    quite sure how successful I really was but at least I have a installer.
    Let me know if this also works for you.

  • Errors with sdk 1.4.1, but not with 1.3??

    I just upgraded to the j2sdk 1.4.1 yesterday from 1.3, and I'm getting a weird compile time error from an import statement that never used to happen. I'm just importing another class I've made, other imports from java.util etc. work fine, but not classes that I have made. Here's the code that gives an error.
    import java.io.File;
    import java.util.Vector;
    import java.util.Enumeration;
    import listDir; // only this line gives an error
    and here's the error.
    C:\kevin\listAll.java:4: '.' expected
    import listDir;
    ^
    1 error
    Anyone have any idea why that happens? Have the rules changed for importing since sdk 1.3? This worked just fine 2 days ago with 1.3. Thanks for any help.

    Hi all,
    This is what I found will work with the stand alone classes (not package classes).
    1) Do not use import MyClass; in your java app.
    2) MyClass should be in the same directory as you java app, unless you have set up your CLASSPATH to point to MyClass.
    Here is the listing
    //import MyClass;
    class HelloWorldApp {
    public static void main(String[] args) {
    String strNewPwd = null;
    System.out.println("Hello World!"); //Display the string.
    MyClass myClass = new MyClass();
    //Do something to call your class
    System.out.println(myClass.getMsg());
    It seems to work now. If someone knows where I can find an updated documents on how to include classes on 1.4.1, please reply to this message.
    Beside this problem, I am trying to use Tomcat 4.1 to develope a web application. I have similar problems finding my classes. On Tomcat 4.0, the app runs fine. I've try the above work around (not include import MyClass), but still does not work. Any suggestions?

  • Error in SDK 1.4.0 SSL

    Hi,
    I have an application running on Linux Slackware 8.1, using SDK 1.4.0
    Every couple of days this error occurs, and the server dies (which is really bad for something I want to just sit there, and do stuff without needing to baby sit it).
    This error does not occur with any other Platform that it has been run on however, and it seems to be a pretty low level error.
    Can someone explain to me what this error is, and whether upgrading to SDK 1.4.1 would correct it? (I could not find any similar errors in the Bug database :( )
    Thanks :)

    Hi,
    I checked the build/.../.../i386 directories (for simulator and device) - and the .o file is not present.
    After 'Clean All', the all .o's are removed. After 'Build', all but that .o files are built. Hmmm.
    The project includes the .h and the .m file for the CameraViewController class. It is the newly-added class to the project.
    What would be the reason for this file to be ignored during the build?

    Same thing happens on firefox, safari, and ie 8.   Anyone else run into this?

    Hah fixed my own problem I guess.  I had to create a new account not login with my existing adobe developer account.   Not sure why that didn't work but I got what I wanted.

    I can't seem to build anything without getting the same error. Even de "Hello world" templates you start out with don't work. I've tried several frameworks and even reinstalled the iPhone SDK but it didn't work.
    This is the error I get:
    Building target “prog1” of project “prog1” with configuration “Debug”
    Checking Dependencies

    For one, you are using one path with apostrophes (/Users/dogafincan/Programma's/) and somewhere else using a path (_ld: file not found: /Users/dogafincan/Programmas/_) that lacks them. Is that intended?
    Try to keep folder names simple/brief, without punctuation to avoid these kinds of issues.
    You might want to practice on a simpler structured basis, such as AS, first so you can make these kinds of mistakes and learn before jumping in the deep end of the pool.

  • Error on SDK 4.1.0.14965: TextConverter.importToFlow not accepting a Configuration

    Hello
    I got a sudden error when updating my SDK to 4.1.0.14965 that is just out. The error is just that TextConverter.importToFlow is not creating the TextFlow, it is returning null, thus the rest of my code gets crashed.
    I tried to isolate the error as far as I could and here is the status:
    - everything worked fine till SDK 4.1.0.14883
    - the TextFlow was not created when the source had an <a> tag (not sure if it happens with other tags) (it does work fine if the source has no extra tags)
    - TextFlow was created fine if I didn't pass a Configuration (even with an <a> tag in the source)
    So my guess is that there is some new changes to the Configuration, specially in the link format part, but I could not find anything else that would guide me to solve that. I looked in the TLF release notes, source code, Language Reference and nothing!!
    Would anyone guess how to solve that?? Was there indeed any update in the TLF source in that section? Is that a bug?
    This is my importToFlow use:
    __tflow = TextConverter.importToFlow(__xml.toXMLString(), TextConverter.TEXT_LAYOUT_FORMAT, sprd.config);
    . TLF formated XML source
    . TextConverter.TEXT_LAYOUT_FORMAT as format
    . a Configuration settings
    thanks a lot!!
    andré

    Thanks Richard
    First thanks for the tip of not needing to convert the XML to String, I had no clue : )
    My error was Unexpected namespace!
    But Unexpected namespace?? That's sure unexpected.. All my source XML have the attribute xmlns set by hand to xmlns="http://ns.adobe.com/textLayout/2008". So I just tried to set the namespace with xml.setNamespace("http://ns.adobe.com/textLayout/2008"); and it didn't RTE anymore. But I got some extra problems here, my website was 490kb size and now is 170Kb!
    Well I will keep working on it and update this page.
    That would be the correct way to set TextLayout's namespace right? xml.setNamespace("http://ns.adobe.com/textLayout/2008"); ??
    Thanks again richard

  • Painting Polygons Error on SDK 1.4

    Hi, when i try to compile the below code it gives me 2 errors for the polygon part:
    import java.awt.*;
    import java.awt.event.*;
    import javax.swing.*;
    public class Map extends JFrame {
    public Map(){
    super("Map");
    setSize(350,350);
    setDefaultCloseOperation(JFrame.EXIT_ON_CLOSE);
    MapPane map = new MapPane();
    getContentPane().add(map);
    public static void main(String[] arg) {
    Map frame = new Map();
    frame.show();
    class MapPane extends JPanel {
    public void paintComponent(Graphics g) {
    Graphics2D screen = (Graphics2D)g;
    screen.drawString("Florida",185,75);
    screen.drawLine(185,80,222,80);
    screen.drawRect(2,2,335,320);
    screen.drawRoundRect(182,61,43,24,10,8);
    //The part that gives the erorr starts here
    int x[] = { 10,234,253,261,333,326,295,259,205,211,195,191,120,94,81,12,10};
    int y[] = { 12,15,25,71,209,278,310,274,188,171,174,118,56,68,49,37,12};
    int pts = x.length;
    int ptsy = y.length;
    if (pts == ptsy){
    System.out.println(pts+ " " + ptsy + "Equal");
    //this line error 1 Polygon poly = new Polygon(x,y,pts);
    //this line error 2 screen.drawPolygon(poly);
    //Ends here
    screen.fillOval(235,140,15,15);
    screen.fillOval(225,130,15,15);
    screen.fillOval(245,130,15,15);
    for (int ax = 50; ax<150; ax+=10)
    for(int ay = 120;ay<320; ay+=10)
    screen.drawArc(ax,ay,10,10,0,-180);

    Hmmm...
    When I copy this code, only moving the "//" comments on to their own lines, the code compiles without problems. The application also runs as intended. If you are still running into problems with this code, put up a short stack trace and I'll see if I can find something.
    (I'm using the JDK1.4 final release.)

  • How to resolve build error C1189: #error PS SDK CS6 VS2013 SampleCode/SimpleFormat plugin?

    I have inherited a Photoshop CS6 format Plugin developed at my company.  This plugin was modeled after the SimpleFormat project found in the adobe_photoshop_cs6_sdk_win\pluginsdk\samplecode\format\simpleformat folder.
    I believe the plugin was originally developed under Visual Studio 2010 and then ported to Visual Studio 2012 on the same machine.
    The solution/project currently compiles in Visual Studio 2012 on the original machine.  The Project Properties General Platform toolset is set to Windows7.1SDK on the original machine.
    I have a brand new laptop.  I have just installed Visual Studio 2013.  I pulled the solution from our repository and opened it in Visual Studio 2013.  When prompted if I wanted to port the 2012 project to 2013 I answered yes.  The Project Properties General Platform toolset is now set to Visual Studio 2013 (v120).
    When I build the project, I get several C1189: #errors.
    I also tried building the SimpleFormat example in 2013 and also get the C1189 errors.

    Thank you for responding ☺
    The SimpleFormatScripting.cpp file seems to be failing due to the #include path.    SimpleFormatScripting.cpp includes 1 .h file, #include "SimpleFormat.h".   The SimpleFormat.h includes 5 .h files.  The 3rd file included is PIUtilities.h.   PIUtilities.h  #includes PITypes.h
    If I comment out the section in PITypes.h that defines TRUE true FALSE false as shown below, then I no longer get compile errors for C1189 or the warnings for C4005 for redefinition of true, false.
    #ifndef TRUE
    #define TRUE 1
    #endif
    #ifndef FALSE
    #define FALSE 0
    #endif
    #ifndef true
    #define true       TRUE
    #endif
    #ifndef false
    #define false      FALSE
    #endif
    I do get several new warnings:

  • Possible error in SDK docs for xmlDomInstance

    API Reference/modules/LrXml.html#xmlDomInstance:transform discusses normalizing the result you get back, and provides a snippet of string manipulation to do so:
    "... apply a substitution pattern such as this: string.gsub( result, "[\r\n      ]+", " " ) ..."
    I /think/ this substitution is supposed to be "[\r\n\t ]+"
    It looks like there is a literal tab character in the rendered content of the documentation, which somehow ate the '\t' escape sequence.

    The Spry site version is fixed (plus another quote error I
    found while i was at it..).
    The LiveDoc version will take a bit longer to get the fix
    live.
    Thanks,
    Don

  • Load: class not found error with sdk 1.4.1 demos

    I have read through a ton of messages regarding this problem with Internet Explorer 6. The only one I saw that had a work around was to compile with javac -target 1.1 <filename>
    This kind of makes having 1.4 moot doesn't it? Has anyone else figured out anything about this error? I get it just from running the demos or a hello world applet with IE6. No problems with Netscape or the appletviewer.
    Thanks in advance...
    happy developing.
    g

    Have you configure IE6 to use the plug-in?
    What is the HTML code like? What is the exact error message (i.e. what is the name of the class it says it did not found)?
