Error in using SimpleFormater Class

Hi
i am getting this error when i use format string to format Date
Formate string that i use is
SimpleDateFormat utcFormat = new SimpleDateFormat("HH:mm:ss.SSS z EEE MMM dd yyyy");
Should i change this format string to resolve this error how do i chage it .
java.text.ParseException: Unparseable date: "07:17:26.183 UTC Sat Dec 24 2005"

Your forgetting two z's I would guess..
Try it..
SimpleDateFormat utcFormat = new SimpleDateFormat("HH:mm:ss.SSS zzz EEE MMM dd yyyy");
// See if it is parsed correctly
try {
     Date today = new Date();
     Date parsed = utcFormat.parse(today.toString(););
     System.out.println(" 2. " + parsed.toString());
} catch(ParseException e) {
     System.out.println("Cannot parse");
}that should work I guess
