Error mesg "Generated DDIC structure for form ZPAYSLIP1 contains errors"?
Hi,
I tried to create a payslip using TCODE HRFORMS.
I clicked on Create button, i specified all the details,
i.e Form Name
Country Grouping
Form Class
Here i specified Country Grouping as "40". And Form Class as "PAYSLIP"
After this i saved it. And i tried to Activate it. Its throwing an error message like....
"Generated DDIC structure for form ZPAYSLIP1 contains errors"
Any helps.....

How I want to have a script to generate and check a turing number. A turing number is a number the user has to read and copy in order to be able to validate a form. This avoids automated submissions. ThanksJust so happens 3 days ago, I took a few hours to research and write a few methods that generate a "turing" sequence of characters and numbers or custom and write an image, I call them viverification (vivo = life , verify = proof) images. Very simple, I have different methods for different needs in my client application code. Here are the methods:

}You'll just need to import the requisite java packages used and you are good to go. If you want to make more complex images you can investigate the image API's further to get a more fancy (though it really is pointless to do so) minimally visually obfuscated images are all you need to thwart even the best subversive OCR (optical character recognition) algorithms that might be used by nefarious agents to spoof viverification.
Use:
Ideally you'd call the method as part of generating a page for an authentication or form in a dynamic fashion. (jsp /servlet) The returned string will allow the method to verify the sequence generated against the value returned by the vivo agent viewing the form. As part of validation you would write simple code to check if the string returned during the image generation doesn't match the form field for agent entry. If so you can deny the action, otherwise you can authorize it.

I got some help for this problem from Oracle support community: Setting paramter CHART_OF_ACCOUNTS_ID.
This seems to solve the problem. I don't get the error message any more, when setting the following:

2. Trying to set query only mode for this form alway displays an empty "Find Bills" form, instead of the specified BOM in query only mode. I try to set this mode by the following:

MDX: Forming Complex "Structures" (for lack of a better term)
I'm trying to create a "structure" that contains (Customer, Date of First Purchase, Date of Last Purchase) where the last 2 items are members from the same dimension attribute. This structure will form the basis of some more complex logic...for
example, I may have another "structure" containing (Customer, Date of Event1, Date of Event2) that needs to be intersected with the first:
Intersect(
Struct1 (Customer, Date of First Purchase, Date of Last Purchase)
Struct2 (Customer, Date of Event1, Date of Event1)
One option I'm considering (since a tuple cannot contain multiple members from the same dimension attribute according to
this article) to create additional date dimensions with the same relationship to the fact tables and use LINKMEMBER.
Another option would be to create a set consisting of 2 tuples for each customer:
(Customer A, Date of First Purchase),(Customer A, Date of Last Purchase),
(Customer B, Date of First Purchase),(Customer B, Date of Last Purchase),
...and then using some FILTER/GENERATE logic to work through the remaining logic...but I'm not convinced this would be any easier than simply maintaining 2 separate sets:
(Customer A, Date of First Purchase),
(Customer B, Date of First Purchase),
(Customer A, Date of Last Purchase),
(Customer B, Date of Last Purchase),
Any suggestions/recommendations?

thanks - that is also a good idea. However, and just like with the option of creating extra role-playing date dimensions, the drawback is that it isn't "dynamic" - I would need to know ahead of time the max number of possible members from the dimension attribute
to include.
I'm essentially trying to implement complex temporal logic dealing with events in time...and while so far I've only seen the need to have 4 members from the same dimension attribute in a "structure" future requirements may call for more than that.

Thank You."test printing" via SE71 only prints what exists in the form. Here your form is missing TITLEDET window and element.
The print program tries to print TITLEDET but it does not exist. Could you check SAP notes to get correct versions of print program and sapscript form. -

I am able to set and get the value now, i am able to see the data in my log window, but in my page it is erroring out, giving null pointer exception.

Image not displayed in pdf generated using Java API for Forms service
Hi,
I am creating a pdf document using Java API for Forms Service.
I am able to generate the pdf but the images are not visible in the generated pdf.
The image relative path is coming in the xml as defined below. The images are stored dynamically in the Livecycle repository each time a request is fired with unique name before the xml is generated.

Not sure if I need to specify specify specific URI values that are required to render a form with image.
The same thing is working when I generate pdf document using Java API for Output Service.
As, I need to generate interactive form, I have to use Forms service to generate pdfs.

I am implementing the land use management enhancement. It allows me to define an object called a "Public Register" which represents a "set" of land objecs (land parcels, rental units, etc) under special circumstances such as hazardous areas.
Unfortunately it returns two errors on validation/save:

Field ID of Standard Location Structure for Easement Reg empty
It has no description or reference to any documentation.
What could this error mean?

Error "No extraction structure for event I3" running set up 2LIS_17_I3HDR
Hi, Experts:
I am trying to activate and run set up datasource for PM 2LIS_17_I3HDR, so that data can be extracted from R/3 into BW 3.5 system.
In R/3 environment, we have 2 clients. client 200 for configurations but has no data, and client 230 has data but can not change configurations.
I have done the following in client 200:
- Activated datasources for for PM 2LIS_17_I3HDR in RSA5.
- Made selection in RSA6.
- Activated extract structures and datasource for application 17 in LBWE and also ran job control. Now I can see the extract structures for application 17 are active in client 200 only, but inactive in client 230. I tried to turn then active in client 230 but got error "Client 230 has status not modifiable".
- I assume I should run set up tables in client 230 because it is the client with data in tables? But when run set up in OLIIBW, I got the error "

Diagnosis
You called the setup for the extractor structures of application '17' (Plant Maintenance). However no extractor structure is active for event I3 (messgaes).

Data for event I3 is not transferred to the BW interface.
Procedure
First activate the desired extractor structures for application '17' using the Customizing Cockpit and then start the setup again."
- I can not manually activate extract structures in client 230 because it is not modifiable. I tried moving transports, the path is not set up. I see extract structures for other applications like 11, 13 are active. So I guess there may be other ways to activate the extract structures in client 230.
- I also tried to run set up in client 200, which has extract structures for 17 in active status. But got the same error as client 230.
Would anyone please help me with what to do to fix this?

Just update for what we did to solve this. Both clients are for development. Client 200 is only for configuration but no data. Client 230 has data but not modifiable. Usually, when we create a structure, table, program, or active anything in 200. We will see it in 230 right away without transports. But this is not the case for activating extract structure for datasource from Business Content. We end up having Basis guy manually activate the structure for us directly in client 230 with transaction LBWE. That worked.

Generating BCH Codes for Forward Error Correction
Has anybody created VIs for generating BCH (Bose-Chaudhuri-Hochquenghem) error correction codes?
I need to generate the codes for a 16 bit data packet.
I've found samples in C on the web (http://www.eccpage.com/) but nothing in LV.

-daveI hate to bump a topic that is over 6 years old, but I am in need of a simple BCH encoding algorithm and do not have the toolbox which provides this. I only need the encoding algorithm so I am hoping to implement this .VI posted here.
I have slightly altered the cleaned up version that was posted to have the inputs/outputs in a format that I expect, but I am worried that it is not correctly calculating the BCH code. This is my first time working with BCH codes, but I need to implement the CCSDS version using n = 63, k = 56 7-bit BCH code with generator polynomial G(x) = x^7 + x^6 + x^2 + 1.
I think when using 0xC5C5C5C5C5C5C5 as my input message the 7 bit BCH is supposed to be 0x43, but I am getting 0x00. Could someone with more experience than me see if I did something obviously wrong? Or know of a way to validate a BCH encoding algorithm, so I know if what I did was correct. I attached my modeified .vi. Thanks!

are you certain, 100% positive, and absolutely sure you have a bean item with above implementation class in your form? I'd double check that...
JInit and IE8? I am not 100% sure, but I am almost certain that this combination didn't work at all. And please don't tell us you used that stupid hack where you replace the jvm.dll of JInit with one of a current JPI installation.
The Oracle Versions you have in place are rather ancient as well, you really should think about upgrading your database and your forms installation. As you already are on webforms moving to the current version of forms shouldn't require much changes in your forms.

Error when reading the DDIC-data for table

We upgraded from DMIS 2011 SP04 to SP07. We are in development system.
To test initial load, we stopped replication for an existing table and then started replication for the same table.
Mass transfer id connects ECC system to BW on HANA system.
Replication errored with the following message:
