Error message: applesyncnotifier.exe

Starting a month ago, when I turn my laptop (HP), I get the following: "AppleSyncNotfier.exe - Entry Point Not Found   The procedure entry point sqlite3_wal_checkpoint could not be located in the dynamic link library SQLite3.dll"  I have tried all kinds of updates, maintenance, etc., but cannot get rid of the message.  It appeared no apparent reason (no new products, etc.)  Grateful on how to eliminate....?

With that one, perhaps try uninstalling and reinstalling your MobileMe control panel. Does that clear up the message?

I think my problem is fixed now.
For the fun of it, I reinstalled iTunes 9.2.1 today (using the exact same installer as I did yesterday), but this time I didn't uninstall iTunes first. As expected, iTunes recognized my iPhone (as I expected it to, until my next reboot).
A few minutes later, Software Update showed up and among the updates is "iPhone SDK Compatibility Update". The description indicates that installing this should fix an issue where iPhones and iPod touches aren't recognized by iTunes. Isn't that interesting?
I installed that update and most of the others waiting for me (including Java, Safari 5.0.1, and a few others - not 10.6.4 though, due to the issues with nVidia graphics cards). After the reboot, I started iTunes, and it saw my iPhone!
So, if you're having this same problem, I'd recommend tracking down this update and see if that does the trick for you. Hopefully it will.

  • When I turn on my computer I get an error message; AppleSyncNotifier.exe Entry Point not found. What do I do to fix it?

When ever I log onto my computer I keep getting this error message.
AppleSyncNotifier.exe - Entry Point can not be found. Something to do with an SQLite3.dll file. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi Molly - I can tell you're frustrated and I will do my best
Can you tell me whether you have a 32bit or 64bit system. You can find out in the following way
    Windows Vista or Windows 7
If you have Windows Vista or Windows 7, there are two methods to determine whether you are running a 32-bit or a 64-bit version. If one does not work, try the other.
Method 1: View System window in Control Panel
Click Start, type system in the Start Search box, and then click system in the Programs list.
The operating system is displayed as follows:
For a 64-bit version operating system: 64-bit Operating System appears for the System typeunder System.
For a 32-bit version operating system: 32-bit Operating System appears for the System typeunder System.
Method 2: View System Information window
Click Start, type system in the Start Search box, and then click System Information in thePrograms list.
When System Summary is selected in the navigation pane, the operating system is displayed as follows:
For a 64-bit version operating system: x64-based PC appears for the System type under Item.
For a 32-bit version operating system: x86-based PC appears for the System type under Item.
If you have a different OS (operating system) let me know which one and I'll tell you how to find that out.
Once I know I should be able to give you the fix.
    Cheers

  • Anyone had this error message AppleSyncNotifier.exe - Entry point not found?

I use a windows 64bit laptop with Itunes. Recently I have been receiving an error message titled "AppleSyncNotifier.exe- Entry Point Not Found". The sub text is "The procedure entry point sqlite3_wal_checkpoint could not be located in the dynamic link library SQLite3.dll" I am not sure why it is appearing and I cannot tell what is happening.  Anyone have any suggestions? And yes I have removed, installed, removed, installed and removed and installed ITunes for 64bit. Your advice welcomed and appreciated in advance!

  • On starting windows xp I get an error message. applesyncnotifier.exe  unable to locate component

On starting windows xp I get an error message. "applesyncnotifier.exe  unable to locate component". I have uninstalled and reinstalled ITunes. Are there any recommendations?

Dunno. I just got it too. And after reading all the info, I tried what they did..
I copied the file from one folder to another one, and then I got a DIFFERENT error.
All I know is the last time I ran an upgrade to apple products, I lost my entire library, AND my I pod.
So I have been avoiding updates.. I finally try one and again, the silly thing acts up.
If this is the quality of Apple software then Im going to stop updating at all.

  • I keep getting error message "AppleSyncNotifier.exe - Entry Point Not Found" every time I start up my computer. How can I fix this

I recieve this message every time I start my computer, AppleSyncNotifier.exe - Entry Point Not Found. How can I fix this?

    No problem.
You can either get it via Apple Software Update ("Start > All Programs > Apple Software Update" ... it'll appear in the "New programs" section) or by downloading an installer from the following page on the Apple Website:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/DL769

  • What to do on the message " AppleSyncNotifier.exe – Cannot find starting point of [sqlite3_wal_checkpoint] from DLL SQLite3.dll

컴퓨터를 부팅하면 다음 메시지가 나오네요 " AppleSyncNotifier.exe – 시작시점 sqlite3_wal_checkpoint을(를) DLL SQLite3.dll에서 찾을 수 없습니다."
Upon booting, I see the message " AppleSyncNotifier.exe – Cannot find starting point of [sqlite3_wal_checkpoint] from DLL SQLite3.dll

With that one, I'd first try uninstalling and reinstalling your MobileMe Control Panel for Windows. Does that clear up the error?

Same problem today. Took five times to reinstall without any error messages. Apple has posted a way to fix and you should follow their's first. I finally got to upldate correctly by doing their fix but with one difference. I did the following:
    1) Went to the C:\program files (x86)\iTunes and C:\program files\iTunes folders and moved every file ending in .dll to the desktop (even if two files in same location had the same name, just replace)
    2) Restarted computer and still got error message
    3) Uninstalled all apple programs possible in the following order......itunes, apples software update, apple mobile device support, bonjour, and apple application support.....all performed using the microsoft control panel
    4) put all the .dll files on the desktop in the trash and emptied (this is a step apple support did not specifically put in their fix but for a final try I wanted to delete everything apple).
    5) Restarted computer.
    6) Re-installed itunes from apple website
No error messages during re-install and was able to open shortcut in one try. Even updated my ipad to make sure everything was working.

  • HT4913 How do I resolve this issue when I try to download iTunes. I receive this error message " iTunes64Setup.exe is corrupt or invalid"

How do I resolve this issue when I try to download iTunes on my laptop?  It fails because of this error message " iTunes64Setup.exe is corrupt or invalid"

That suggests that the installer is getting damaged during the download.
I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer?

try installing de software of that ipod, reinstall de ipod sofware and the itunes, after that go 2 apple.com and download the new updator. then install that too, and if possible redownload the new version of itunes. b4 u do all this , delete the software (old one ) of that ipod and itunes.. only the one that is giving u the problem, meaning b4 u reinstall the software that came with ur ipod, go 2 control panel.2.find add /remove programs.3then delete the old ipod and itunes software. then retstart ur computer. 4 then now go and reinstall the ipod software and itunes that came with ur ipod then after that redownload de ipod updator(new version is march 2006. get this and after that download the new version of itunes. then install all these, then u can also restore ur ipod by clicking on de updator when it opens press restore u will be commanded 2 plug in ur ipod. then follow de instructions. after all these ur itunes should be fine, and ur ipod software should be fine. ur itunes is corrupt , that might be causing the problem.

That DLL is part of your printer driver; reinstall or update the device driver for your printer, and the message should go away.
