Error occurs in Content Player while storing results.

Hi Experts,
We have implemented LSO in our Org. and also use SCORM compliant web based courses.
We are facing a problem with few users as they go through the course, attempt the test but when they click on End Test
the following error message is shown in a Message Box.
" An error occured while storing the test results.
Do not close the test. Contact your system administrator. "
Not all users are facing this problem. Please help.

If this is not the issue with all users that means the application/coding/configuration is fine. Do onething ask the user to clear temporary internet files,cookies then check it what happens.
Still the same problem persist then try to use trace and find out from where the issue is appearing with the help if ABAPer.

Typically aggregate errors are thrown for Bulk operations. A bulk operation is one where you tend to operate on multiple items (Folder, Documents) at a time. FileManager.createDocuments() , FileManager.delete(list of docs) are examples of this.

An error occured on the server while reading settings

Hi to everyone,
Today i renewed my server's Profiles Manager Code Signing Certificate following this link http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5358
The certificate was renewed sucessfully for one year.
I switched the Profile Manager Off then next to "Sign configuration profiles" i clicked the Edit button and from the Certificate list, i selected the certificate named "myserver.mydomain.com Code Signing Certificate - myserver.mydomain.com OD Intermediate CA" which was the only listed certificate that i had renewed.
When i turned on the Profile Manager i faced the issue.
An error occured on the server while reading settings so the Profile Manager can't start.

A server error occurred on the current command. the results if any should be discarded in SQL 2008 R2

Hi,
I am using SQL server 2008 R2 and also MultipleActiveResultSet = true and Pooling = true (default value) in connection string.
While executing query 'IF ORIGINAL_LOGIN() = SUSER_SNAME() EXECUTE AS USER = 'MyUser'', I received error stating 'A server error occurred on the current command. the results if any should be discarded'. At the same time I could check that SqlConnection
state is also closed.
I have also fired 'REVERT' query If I find such exception and again try to execute same query again. but no luck. I received the same exception while executing query (Execute As) again.
What can be the solution to avoid such exception and make my code working?

Login failed for user 'sa'. The user is not associated with a trusted SQL Server connection.
Above issue occurs genrally when authentication mode is set to Windows Authentication insted Mixed Mode.
You can change the authentication mode of the SQL server from “Windows Authentication Mode (Windows Authentication)” to “Mixed Mode (Windows Authentication and SQL Server Authentication)”.
Run following script in SQL Analyzer to change the authentication
LOGIN sa ENABLE
GO
ALTER LOGIN sa WITH PASSWORD = '<password>'
GO

But as per the first post it seems issue is different have you observerd Error log?

Help - Multiple errors occurred on the server while processing commands

I am trying to start ical server on a fresh install of os x server 10.5, but I receive the following error messages: "Multiple errors occurred on the server while processing commands. Use the console application to view the error message" then I hit "ok" and then if i try to enable the iCal service, up pops up another window saying: "an error occurred onthe server while processing a command. Error 'CANNOTLOAD_BUNDLEERR' occurred while processing a command of type 'writeSettings' in plug-in 'servermgr_calendar'
what's going on? how do i proceed to enable the iCal service? here is my error log:

I noticed in my instance that it is HD content that is giving me the same problem, but Standard Definition (SD) content downloads and plays no problem.

No, you do not have to set anything special. That would then indicate an issue with your network.
Make sure DNS is set to automatic (settinga - general - network). If on wifi try ethernet. Reboot ATV and router.
If it persist, get a proper report of the network by going to istumbler (Mac) or netstumbler (PC), look for signal strength and noise.

Error "Internal error occurred checking the external " while creating a job

        I am getting an error while trying to schedule a job, Im not very shure abt what the job does, the user tried it and she got an error and asked me to do it.
        A similer kind of job has been created in an other system and it works fine there. This job should run monthly and belowis the job step
        The job runs on an external command and following are the paramerters
         Name           SAA_TP_CHECK
         Parameters     /usr/sap/transTCluster/bin/TP_DOMAIN_TD1.PFL
         Operating sys. UNIX
         Target server saptp1
        This gives an error "Internal error occurred checking the external "

I think the issue is with the server .
Please check whether the Server name you are giving has the all the RFC connections.
I mean Remote Connection with the Server is establised or not.

Error occured during budget check while planning in network activity

Dear All,
i have created a project with 4 WBSE. i have assigned budget to one of these WBSE and released that project. than i want to do planning in next WBSE this is giving error while saving this planning as Error occured during budget check, see cost.
i have created user status for budgeting like if we have not budgeted than WBS is not able to release. i have added availability control as Forbidden while not budgeted but this not effective.
please suggest me some thing to remove this problem

hi,
In WBS you can Plan and budget to group WBS , the below wbs will consume budget form top.
Proj>WBS1(Group WBS- Plan/Budget) it is applicable for below all wbs elements say WBS2>WBS3
When you are determining Hierarchy you should create WBS in same levels then only you can allocate Budget.
If you wan to allocate budget for WBS2 and WBS3 separately.
Proj
WBS1
WBS2                    WBS3
     WBS2A                   WBS3A
          WBS2B                    WBS3B
               WBS2C                         WBS3C
Proj>WBS1 (it will no more act as Group wbs element) then you can directly plan and budget for below wbs elements WBS2 and WBS3.
Below hierarchy will consume budget from as displayed above.
Note: In you case as per my understanding return budget make zero, then plan and budget the same it will work.

I am getting Following error when I predd add button. On this add button I do Bulk Copy insertion in some of tables.
I am using Linq to sql classes. At my side error is not comming. But at client side error is comming. They have more than 1 lac data. I am not getting why this kind of error occured?
So can anybody please tell me possible causes of this error?
If possible then can anybody sugest me any solution for it?

Did you check the SQL Server error log? That might provide details as to the underlying cause of the error.
& also if possible then can you please send me basic solution that you can sugest me..
One method that might avoid the problem to insert in smaller batches line 10,000 rows. Use a separate data table for the SqlBulkCopy and perform the WriteToServer in a loop. Copy up to 10K rows from the source to target data table and
execute WriteToServer in each iteration.
A more robust method is to create your own DataReader that batches the rows. The original data table could be used as the source.

LSO Content Player Error - HTTP Error 404 - File or directory not found

I have published a course to my ISS CMS and configured the links in both ECC and J2EE lsm/mediator.

I was able to successfully publish the course from the Authoring Environment to the CMS server.
When selecting the starting the course from the portal with content player i get the following error.
HTTP Error 404 - File or directory not found
But the URL is referring to - http://iiscmshost.domain/lms/mediator/courseview?sid=8685627505550088697845288091101&language=EN&sys=HRD&client=030&sap-accessibility=X
How does directory http://iiscmshost.domain/lms/mediator get created when the content is in http://iiscmshost.domain/LSO600/Content ??
Secondly can I change this reference to my LSO600/Content directory.
Please advise with any information. Point will be awarded.

Dear Maahir,
We are facing the same problem. We are pointing over CMS to IIS, instead of KM content of portal. We are successfully able to release and publish the course, then attach to a course participant also.
But. When participants logs into the portal and click on Start Now. It giving 404 file not found Error. Its the same error. All our Course and content pointed to CMS IIS Server Url.
When we did the content player config test, result is NOT OK. We have required R3 authorization and CMS user authorization also with admin rights. Content Player console is working in AE when we start up the course. Its showing the error.
So, it seems like content player is not working properly. Bcoz we are launching course from http://WEBDAV repository server maintained in back end system. Which is the IIS(CMS Server)for us. Do we need to maintain anything separately to launch a course from IIS Server on R3 and SAP Portal. Below sample URL from page.
http://Sever:port/lms/mediator/courseview = xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Could you please us know, how did you resolve the issue and tell me the cause of this issue.

A network error occurred while trying to communicate with the server.

I am getting some new error messages when opening the server app on my Mac Mini server running OS X 10.8.2 and Server 2.2.1. First I get a message that says "A network error occurred while trying to communicate with the server." and then after trying to open some of the service panes, I get additional errors that say "Multiple errors occurred on the server while processing commands." The services don't load and I just see "Error Reading Settings" in the server app.
I started to get these errors when I added a new website to the server. All the services are working fine but I cannot access them in the server app.
In console I'm seeing these errors when I try to access various services:

I have already restarted the server and used terminal to stop and start postgres. Any more thoughts on how to repair this?

Just as I had suspected, the whole GUI crashed because of certificate problems. After two and a half hours with enterprise support, it turns out the com.apple.servermgrd certificate in the server keychain had become corrupt.
We determined this by typing https://127.0.0.1:311 into Safari and we could see all the server modules and interact with them through the web interface. All the services were working properly as well so we knew that it was just the Server.app GUI that simply couldn't read settings that was causing the problem.
So, first we closed the server app. Went into /var/servermgrd and deleted all the files from this folder. Then, in Keychain, deleted the com.apple.servermgrd certificate. Did a search for com.apple.servermgrd in Keychain and deleted everything else that came up for it.
Then restarted the server. Now the server app was able to properly connect to the services in the background and read them properly. This was the jist of the troubleshooting that solved the problem. It also seems like DNS is causing problems because that is the only service that will not read right but is functioning properly in the background.
I will post an update once Apple figures out what is wrong with DNS. Hope this helps anybody else having these problems.

When you create a group, you save it to an unsealed management pack. However, an element in an unsealed management pack, such as an override, cannot reference an element in a different unsealed management pack, such as a group. If you are going to use a group
to limit the application of an override, you must either save the group to the same unsealed management pack as the override, or you must seal the management pack that contains the group.
For a specific object of class:
Class

Error occured in data selection!

Hi,
data request was failed in my case when i schedule the data .
in details tab of monitor screen , under extraction it is saying " error occured in data selection".
while scheduling, i had given only one selection range of the many available fields.
is it mandatory that we should select all the available selection values?
can any body here tell me what could be the problem?

This would occur when corresponding job of BW is running at R/3 side.
How to identify that ?
1] find sm37 of BW job.
2] double click the job, click on 'job details' from tool bar.
3] from the pop up screen, note down the server and job id.
4] log in to R/3, tcode SM51. Double click the server which is mentioned in above step.
5] a list of running job would appear, find the job from job id as in step 3. double click that and clikc on cancel program to kill the job.
NOTE - if the job is already over then it would not appear in list..
now you can repeat the load.
this works, i have tried it.

Error occurs in Content Player while storing results.
