Error on Export Button

Hello All
Error on Export Button:
When i click the export button, I get the following error:
InvalidObjNameException: JBO-25005: Object name for type View Object is invalid
Can any help telling what the error is about.

When you add the exportButton, under Bc4j what is the View Instance you added,
Did you typed the name or selected from the list.
Is the view is same as the data displayed in the page/table.

Problem in crystal report viewer control's toolbar "export"button using SSL

I would like to ask. My project is using BO XI Release 2 and VS-Studio 2005. Initially my project doesn't use SSL... At that time when i view the report with crystal report viewer control and can export (using built-in toolbar "export button"). Now project is using SSL and canu2019t export the error is
u201CInternet Explorer cannot download file from server.
Internet Explorer was not able to open this Internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later.u201D
Actually this error can solve "Cache-control" change to "no-cache". But I donu2019t know in crystal reportu2026

In Internet Explorer, go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced and ensure "Do not save encrypted pages to disk" is unchecked.
Default is to have that option checked.
It was considered a IE security issue that IE saves all content to temp disk location unencrypted, even those pages served by HTTPS (for example, let's say you use HTTPS to download your bank info, and it's stored to temp disk for someone else to retrieve later). So more recent versions of IE implemented that option setting.
How that option setting works is strange - it downloads the file, saves to disk, then deletes the copy from the disk immediately, before passing it to the application responsible for the MIME type. So the application tries to open a directory path to a non-existing file.
Issue is specific to IE, and it's not something you can control via the SDK.

Error while exporting data into Excel Sheet

Hi All,
I have created a VO which is based on Query(Not based on EO) and the Query is as follows:

Based on this VO I have created a search page which will search and returns data from the table and finally standard export button will export the data into excel sheet.
In this am searching the data based on above 5 attributes. Without entering anything in the messageTextInput if i am clicking GO button, it is returning all the data into the table region. After this if i click on Export Button, data are getting exported into Excel Sheet. It is fine.
But if i am searching the data by entering any value in any of the messageTextInput, it is returning data. But if i am clicking the Export Button then it is throwing the following error:

Did you try running the query from back end that got generated in the error trace ? see if that query is returning desired
output .
Also would like to know if you are using oracle standard search mode i.e result based search / auto customization search ?

"Missing parameter values" error on Export - rehash

VS2008, CR2008, no SP.
I am getting this when trying to use the export button on the CrystalReportViewer tool bar. I am pretty sure I need to refresh the report when the export button is clicked, but I cannot find a CrystalReportViewer event for this. I created my own Export button and refresh the report when it is clicked and it works fine - no errors. So now I want to get rid of the Export button from the button bar, but it seems that this is not possible?
I guess my question is... is there an event I can trap associated with when the export button on the original CrystalReportViewer toolbar is pressed OR is there a way to get rid of the Export button on the toolbar?

Yikes - I can't believe I missed that! OK the button is gone and all is well.
This has been an interesting project. I usually set up my reports with BOTH the CrystalReportSource and the CrystalReportViewer and that combination seems to always work great. Its really easy to pass parameters and selection formulas with this combination. However, I have one report that I need to pass both parameters AND a selection formula to the main report AND a subreport so I have to get rid of the CrystalReportSource and instead use the CrystalReports.Engine. This gets a bit more tricky as I have found out.
Anyways all is well. Thanks for your help - you showed me something that was right in front of my face.

Windows XP -> WebSphere 6.1: All works fine.
AIX -> WebSphere 6.1: the same project and db.
Error when exporting (export button in CR DHTML web viewer) to rtf, word, xls formats (pdf and csv - ok):

Error on Export

No amount of searching has helped me thus far. I have been working on a project and having finished went to export but get the following error as soon as I hit the export button.
Premiere Pro has encountered an error.

Upon hitting continue Premiere Crashes.
Adobe also is giving me errors following that may or may not be related. When I follow the file path it isn't there.
An unspecified error occured while performing a conform action on the following file: /users/"myname"/library/application support/adobe/common/media cache files/"file name"
This happens in Encoder as well.
All my other projects will export without error.
The only thing unique about this project is that it originated from a CS6 project file on a windows computer, but I have had no other issues.
I have a imac running 10.8.3

4gb 1067 mhz ddr3

It happened with just about anything I tried. It also only affected one sequence, other sequences in the same project seemed to export fine.
As for an update for future people with a similar problem: I talked to adobe customer service (which I was quite impressed with their patience etc.) and after trying everything I think they talked to a higher up before we learned that it must be a corrupted file or a missing camera file (as in the footage was there but other files the camera puts on the computer were missing). The workaround was to import the project into After Effects and export it from there, as it uses a different method of encoding and doesn't need all of the original camera files. The moral of the story is that with certain camcorders that aren't "drag and drop" like my jvc hm150, make sure to use adobe to capture the footage. My problem was I didn't have the camera I just copied the files from another computer.

Error in Export to CSV

Hi all,
Its one more new problem i'm facing.
I have a search page (this doesnt uses oaquery, its fully custom handled search screen). I have added a exportButton to the page and i've choosen the option "Export All Rows" = True
When i have some search result data and try to click Export, i get a csv file which contains some exception stack trace rather than the comma delimeted search result.

yup !! i had given it correctly.
The problem got solved.
This error was occuring when i was trying to run the page from JDeveloper, and i just thought i will move the code to server and test the rest of the page and got the export button to work.
basically, this export button is not working form JDeveloper, but anyhow its working perfectly from the server.

Java.lang.NullPointerException when click on the Export button

I had created a advance table with a export button to export the data to csv. Both the advance table and the export button point to the same view. The advance table region works correctly and show all the necessary transactions, but when I click on the Export button I get the following error

Crystal report export button not working

Hi i have a problem with a crystal report.......that in a crystal report when i click the export button the page refreshes and my report is dissapears but nothing happens i am unable to export the report in any format what shoould i do....if u wan to see the code than i would also provide it on demand....
It gives an error of Failed to export using the options you specified. Please check your options and try again.

Sounds like you are using one of our SDK's and wrote an application.
Need a lot more info.

On logging into FDM URL, with a specific user on clicking "Export Fish" FDM Processes gives the options for load but on the other hand when we click on "Export" from the left panel(navigation). "It throws Your session has ended or timed out. Please login again." Quite anomalous behaviour ,when I try with admin this issue does not exist. In shared service this user has the access for that group with WRITE permissions.
Other relevant info:
Version: 11.1.2.3
DB: SQL Server
Project: Upgraded
User type: Intermediate
Target: HFM
Tried creating a new native user with all admin priv on the FDMApp,HFM app but the issue did not get resolved.
It is peculiar and unable to gain any pointers.

On clicking the Export option on left panel. It shows Processing,please wait and logs out with error as session timeout.

Can you check the Object Security for the Analysis Menu and Export button and see if it is restricted?
Also, is this a Oracle DB? IF so, has the following 32 bit Oracle Client components been isntalled:
Oracle Objects for OLE
Oracle Data Provider for .NET
Oracle Providers for ASP.NET

Export button in Web Viewer not working

The export button in Web Viewer is not working at all and giving errors. I am hosting the application in Tomcat Server.

Hi,
I find out one of the reasons that this could be happening. On clicking the export or the print option that URL is automatically redirected to my http://localhost/.../CrystalReportViewerHandler but this folder does not exists in the folder where I have deployed my application.
The details for accessing this folder is stored in the <my application folder>/WEB-INF/web.xml
The contents of the file is listed below:
<servlet-mapping>
    <servlet-name>CrystalReportViewerServlet</servlet-name>
    
    <url-pattern>/crystalreportviewers</url-pattern>
</servlet-mapping>
Please let me know how can I resolve this issue.

ERROR: - Cannot export - JAVA is not the current PSE provider!

Hello Colleagues,
in our SAP PI 7.31 Dual-Stack system we facing following error "ERROR: -> Cannot export - JAVA is not the current PSE provider!" under Netweaver Administrator (NWA) -- > Certificates and Keys: Key Storage, if we executing button "Export View to PSE" for view "ICM_SSL_*".
As by default for ABAP and Dual-Stack systems, profile parameter "ssl/pse_provider" is set to ABAP.
How we are able to solve that issue?

Error in exporting photoshop file

We have several copies of After Effects being used in the office. Both myself and another user have encountered a problem saving as photoshop layers. It gets 87% or so into it and then gives the error; "error in exporting photoshop file" in the info window. Any thoughts?

I don't think expressions should have any influence on teh matter. They are just another way of formulating an animation stream value just like keyframes. Icould think of a few things:
- The new pixel aspect ratio handling in CS4. Due to the conversion, something may happen to the source footages.
- Layer styles. this may cause a "cyclic use" of the Photoshop engine. Some of that stuff has changed quite a bit for CS4 to accomodate Ps Live 3D and teh new adjustment layer model.
- Hardware accelerated effects. CS4 passes through OpenGL acceleration through all comps. Using an effect that uses it and happens to think it doesn#t need to fall back into software only mode, may cause a hiccup.
- MediaCore. Similar to the previous, it uses hardware acceleration and may show weird behaviors, varying solely based on differences in graphics cards.
In particular for the last two points I would think it is what makes the difference between your systems. One of them has not enough juice on OpenGL, so it's "safe". I'd definitely investigate along those lines.

Maheswara Raju,
As per my understanding you are not able to export all the View Attribute using export Button. Only the attribute which is used with the item/region will get exported.
There are few work around in case if you want to export the column without showing on OAF Page. Let me know.
