"Error on Page" permission denied

We have several users in our SRM system that encounter an "Error on Page" (permission denied) javascript error when their page is left idle for 5-10 minutes. This is in spite of the timeout settings being set as follows:

We are running SRM 4.0 (Server 5.0), with an external ITS release 620. The WGate and AGate are on separate servers, and we do experience the same error in all of our systems. Once the Error On Page has been received, none of the links on the current page are functional. OSS has not been able to duplicate.

1) Is it BSP application issue.
Javascript error could occur if any of the Script files were not loaded.
IF you have tool like HTTPWatch , You can use then and see which File on loading home page has an issue. As absolute URL will also be loaded we can check which BSP application javascript fiel is issue, then check in SICF if that BSP application is active.
2)You would also try to debug using javascript and see where error is happening,
if possible just give more inputs.

Error MOS-01105: Permission Denied message during install

Hi,
I am trying to install BW30B with Oracle 9.2 on a Sun Solaris 64bit machine. I am using Exceed to display the installation GUI.
I keep getting the error message:
Unable to access file <Path>/SAPENV.SH Permission Denied.
I am running the install with root permissions. The above path does exist and I have given all the files 777 rights. I have in turn given the <SID>adm and ora<SID> directories 777 access. It looks like its trying to copy the scripts from the /UNIX/COMMON/INSTALL directory into the <SID>adm & ora<SID> directories when it fails.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

By Default none of us have root permissions. To work around this we start the installation as sapadm and add the install path to the sudo list so that the install runs with root permissions.
Eg: sapadm> sudo /sapcd/BWINSTALL/INSTALL
The destination filesystem is remotely mounted, though i think that's not the problem as we have successfully installed SAP from that path before. The error message from the sapinst log file is below. Also the userid's have already been created and I have set their home directories to 777 permissions.

"Error opening document - permission denied"

I'm using Acrobat Reader version 7.0. It refused to open pdf files on my computer. The error message that was returned is There was an error opening this document. Permission denied. I own the files, with read (and write) permissions, and acroread is running with my user id.
I have tried deleting and re-installing the program, with no luck.
Any ideas, please?

Error: Permission denied to get Window.setTimeout

I have created a bounded task flow which has single page and "close" as action to return to parent. I open it from another bounded taskflow as a popup. It opens and there is a button on the page named as "Close" which has action property as "close" to return to parent taskflow. Everything works fine when i run it in integrated weblogic with JDeveloper 11g. When i deploy it to standalone weblogic 10.3.3.x, it works perfect in IE but gives error in firefox (in all version) when i click "close" button on the page and popup is not closed. Error is following:

When I am trying to create a database I am getting the following errors.
ORA - 01501 Create database failed.
ORA-00200 Control file couldn't be created.
ORA -00202 Control file :'/disk1/oradata/DEMO/CONTROL1.ctl'
ORA-27040 skgfrcre: create error, unable to create file.
Linux error 13: Permission denied.
Here I could see the directory exists.
I have changed the permissions to chmod 6751 $ORACLE_HOME/bin/oracle.
What else could be the possible error am I making?

Permission Denied error generating XML file

We’re using ODI to write out files to a Windows CIFS file system through an agent installed on the ODI Unix server. In order to do this, we had to create the agent using a user ID that had permission to write to the Windows file system. For writing out flat files, this worked great; we have no problems at all.
However, for writing out XML files to the file system, we’re getting an error that says Permission Denied. We do NOT get the error if we write the XML to a Unix directory, only if we attempt to write it to the CIFS file system. I have two questions:
1. Is ODI able to execute against a Windows CIFS file system from UNIX to generate XML files?
2. If so, is there a list of permissions required on the fileshare that the ODI needs to generate the XML?
Below is the exact error we’re getting:

I found the issue and corrected it. :)
This was happened only because of the Version problem of Report Builder with Oracle Applications.
Reports Builder 10g is not compatiblie with Oracle Applications 11.5.10.
Oracle 11.5+ will always expect the RDF from Reports 6i version. Because of this, the endocing was damaged.
You can observe in the earlier post as encoding="&Endoding". Here +&Encoding should be replaced by some encoding mechanism like "UTF-8".+
Finally corrected the version and got the Output as expected.

Firefox exits with CreateDirectoryAtPath: Permission denied error

I just downloaded and installed Firefox from
.../firefox/releases/latest-8.0/linux-x86_64/en-US/firefox-8.0.tar.bz2
When exiting, I get the following error messages
CreateDirectoryAtPath: Permission denied
RemoveFilesRecursively: stat: Permission denied
These specific messages are repeated about 6 times each.
The problem does not exist for all users.
I can reproduce the problem at will. The easiest way is to login as
the problematic user, start up firefox and then immediately close
with Ctrl+Q.
$ /opt/firefox-8.0/firefox/firefox
CreateDirectoryAtPath: Permission denied
RemoveFilesRecursively: stat: Permission denied
$
Note: the error messages don't appear until I "Quit."
Also there is a child zombie process. Both processes disappear on exit.
$ ps -fu user

The FDM Service account does not have proper permission to the FDM application folder. Make sure that the applicaiton path is specified in UNC format and that the FDM Service account has full read\write to the application share. So the app path should be something like \\servername\fdmdata\<appname> and the FDM service account shoudl have full control to the FDMDATA folder.

I have poral 10.1.4 installed on a windows machine. I have added the Login portlet to a page, but when anyone (even orcladmin) attempts to login, we get this error
Error: uncaught exception: Permission denied to get property HTMLDocument.forms
And it won't go anywhere.
Anyone have any ideas?

Hi, I have the same problem,
I am opening a popup window and I want to setup a input field in the parent window which is inside in the portlet container.
When I am doing this action I have this javascript error "Permission denied to HTMLDocument.form ."

Hi I have windows xp installed in my pc. After installing 1og, th.e TNS listener service is not starting automatically.
While starting the service manually from command prompt I am getting the following error.

However the problem is when i connect to the internet and then try to start the listener it starts up and everything works fine after that even after disconnecting from the net. Please help me in solving this. Thank you

YOU need to verify the host name or the ip address for your pc
1 you said when connect to the internet is working cause when you create the database the lsnrctl get the internet ip address
2 you can create new lsnrctl with new ip address and i will work

Hello. I am running SQL 2005 SP2 (9.0.3282) on a Windows 2003 SP2 Enterprise server. I have three users that I have assigned the three SQL Server Agent roles within the msdb system database so that they may manage jobs that they own. Recently they started seeing this error:
The EXECUTE permission was denied on the object 'xp_sqlagent_enum_jobs', dartabase 'mssqlsystemresource', schema 'sys'. (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 229)
I have other servers that have SQL server configured the same where we are not seeing the errors.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

After you move the msdb database, you may receive the following error message:
Error 229: EXECUTE permission denied on object 'ObjectName', database 'master', owner 'dbo'.
This problem occurs because the ownership chain has been broken. The database owners for the msdb database and for the master database are not the same. In this case, the ownership of the msdb database had been changed. To work around this problem, run the following Transact-SQL statements. You can do this by using the Osql.exe command-line utility (SQL Server 7.0 and SQL Server 2000) or the Sqlcmd.exe command-line utility (SQL Server 2005):
