Error on result page.

Hello there,
I'm doing a search and results page for my DB, I did the recordset on the results page and the form on the search page as explained in the DW's Docs but when I try a search I get this error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ')', expecting T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM in /hermes/web05/b797/pow.jntservices/htdocs/results.php on line 33

Certificate error pops up from Google search results page

Hi,
I wanted to find out more info about a certain company, so I typed the name on Google. When I clicked on Search (not I'm feeling lucky!) the search results appeared, but I immediately got a pop-up saying the certificate for the website of the company in question was not valid:
"Secure Connection Failed
www.mvfaccount.com:443 uses an invalid security certificate.
The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is unknown.
(Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)
This could be a problem with the server's configuration or it could be someone trying to impersonate the server.
If you have connected to this server successfully in the past the error may be temporary and you can try again later."
But the thing is: I hadn't even clicked on that search result! The warning appeared while the search results page was loading.
I find that unsettling because it makes me wonder: does Firefox visit the websites before I visit them?
And before you ask: no, I'm not a customer of that company (Maple Valley Financial) nor did I ever visit them before.

I'm not sure how this could be a Firefox setting, but I would try the "usual" first:
When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
"3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site, try either:
* right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
* Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
In the dialog that opens, you can remove the site's cookies individually.
Then try reloading the page. Does that help?
In case one of your extensions is involved, could you test the page in Firefox's Safe Mode? That's a standard diagnostic tool to deactivate extensions and some advanced features of Firefox. More info: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode]].
You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using either:
* "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
* Help menu > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
Not all add-ons are disabled: Flash and other plugins still run
After Firefox shuts down, a small dialog should appear. Click "Start in Safe Mode" (''not'' Reset).
Any difference? If that helps, it could be that you selected to block that element in one of your add-ons.

Search result Page throw Error for anonymous User

We have claim base WebApplication in SharePoint 2013. Every thing is working fine and user can login site without any problem. Only search result page not working..its given "Sorry, something went wrong "

Sorry, something went wrong - Open Office File from Search Results Page with Office Web Apps

Hi,
I'm getting "Sorry, something went wrong" error when I'm trying to open any office document from inside Search Results Page with Office Web Apps, the same error is appearing in the document preview as well.
The error in SharePoint logs says that the file cannot be found.
Please note that this error is coming only when the "Filename" of the document is not written in English (in my case its written with Arabic characters).
If I try to open it from the document library, its opening properly with no errors.
The only difference between two URLs (document URL in Search Results and in Document Library) is the value for "sourcedoc" attribute;
In the case of Search Results page, the filename in "sourcedoc" attribute is kept as is with Arabic characters.
While in the Document Library, the filename in "sourcedoc" attribute is converted into different characters (something like: "B9%D9%85%D9%8").
Anybody have an idea on how to overcome this issue, implement a workaround or modify the "sourcedoc" behavior?

Thanks for your efforts, I already tried your last suggestion before, but this didn't solve my problem.
Actually my end users are accessing this portal using ADFS and HTTPS.
Finally I got this solved, I have done below to get my overall solution working perfectly:
- First I have configured Windows Authentication and ADFS Authentication on the same zone which is the default zone.
- The issue when opening office documents with Arabic file name has disappeared as a result of first change.
- Then I have faced an issue where we are not able to crawl content under Default zone, however we have to do so, after too many efforts, I found that its related to the Load-balancer/proxy, I have made the crawler server
to crawl himself (http://CrawlServerName:PortNumber).
- Also a change on Alternate Access Mapping was needed, I have set one of the extended zones (which is running Windows Authentication only) as Internal URL for the Default Zone, and this is was the URL I used for Crawling.
I have configured Server Name Mappings to make sure we got proper URLs in Search Results.
- Then we faced another issue, which is Authentication selection on login page (How to bypass this page, and authenticate using ADFS auto), I used this solution (Set Custom Sign In Page):

- I faced one more issue as a result of above workaround; Sign Out functionality wasn't working well; users get logged in automatically whenever I click on Sign Out. I solved this by modifying the "Sign Out" Control under _layouts;
I made it to redirect users to ADFS Sign Out Page instead of SharePoint Sign Out Page (I know its not recommended, but I don't have any other option).

The way SharePoint open office documents will differ if the user try to open them from the document library directly, or if users try to open the document from the search result page.

I have a document library where I have uploaded an excel sheet to it. Now If I click on the excel sheet directly from the document library page , I will get the following error ““The webpage cannot be displayed””. While if I do a search and I open the excel
sheet from the search result page , it will open the excel sheet using the excel services inside the browser !!.
So can anyone advice on this ?
Also if I have a PowerPoint document , and I try to open it from the document library I will get the following error “The webpage cannot be displayed” , and the URL will be prefix with the following “ms-powerpoint:ofv|u|”. while if i do a search and i open
the PowerPoint from the search result page i will be prompted to either open or save the document ? So why SharePoint is reacting totally different when trying to open document library items from the document library Or from the search result page?

The behavior in the document library could be probably because of the Documents handling setting. Please try setting it to default behavior (Open in browser) as i hear from you that the default behavior is to open from browser.

2. On the web application setting:- I define stricked for Browser File Handling
And I have noted if I delete the browser cache and I access the document , then I will be prompted with the download dialog. but if I re-click on the same document I will be redirected to the

Error #2057: The page could not be added to the print job.

I've been making myself crazy over this one. I'm trying to print a complex multi-page "report" in Flex, but I keep getting this error every time I try to call FlexPrintJob.addObject(page):
Error #2057: The page could not be added to the print job.
Here is the basic scenario... I have created a new control I call a PrintVBox that extends the normal VBox control. After adding all of the children properly to the component, I wait for an update event (so that the heights of all the components are calculated) and then I call a custom method I have added to PrintVBox that "paginates" the control.
This pagination method essentially decides how many of the items in the VBox can fix on each page, and splits them up into separate pages. Here's a somewhat graphic example of what happens:

This single VBox with 5 items, after calling the paginate method becomes something like this:

So, what was once a single VBox with 5 UIComponents on it is now a VBox that contains two VBoxes, each the exact size of a printable page, one containing the first two items, the other containing the second two items.
In my example that I am working on, my PrintVBox that I have created uses a Repeater to create about 20 HBoxes on the page. I then call
myFlexPrintJob.start()
to show the print dialog and get the user's parameters. I then pass the chosen print height and width to the PrintVBox control and call the paginate method, which creates pages of the desired width/height. I have tested this part thoroughly and displayed the resulting PrintVBox on the screen and it paginates successfully and all is well. After paginate, it has created 3 page VBoxes each holding some of those 20 items.
I then iterate thru PrintVBox.getChildren() array, in this case which is the three VBox pages, and I call:
myFlexPrintJob.addObject(page);
for each one. Each one errors out with the above error. The error is down in the PrintJob code, which is part of the Flash framework and I cannot step through it. I have no indication of why the page can't be added to the print job. Is there a reason this is happening?? Does it have to do with the Repeater that originally created the 20 HBoxes, even though I have now moved those HBoxes down onto separate pages? I'm just so confused here.
I can probably post the entire code chunk if someone really wanted it. I'm currently testing it as an AIR application using a big tester XML data object on the repeater, so that I didn't need a database and such to create the control and test printing. If someone really wants to see what I'm doing, let me know.

I am currently having the same problem as yours... I created my own printing classes that do all crazy calculation to figure out page breaks and stuff... everything goes well until the point I want to add these pages to the printJob. I get same error?

Adding Fields to People Search Results Page

Hi
Working in SharePoint Online, I've been able to add a few fields to the People Search results page successfully:
Organization
Office Locator
Office Location
Work Phone
Mobile Phone
Home Phone
Work Email
All of the above fields are working and display on the People search results page.
I tried to add these and they simply do not display. There is no error:
University Email
Assistant
Calendar/Scheduling
I set them up the same way. I created the Property in the User Profile area. I then populated the data for each user. I then added the property as a Managed property (search schema) linked to the Crawled property from the People category.
Made sure that they were query able, retrievable, searchable, etc. Then I edited the People Search code and then I waited over the weekend for the search to pick them up. I came into work this morning and they still do not display. Here is

According to your post, my understanding is that you have an issue about adding fields in people search results page.
Per my knowledge, there is no issue in your steps, and the issue may be related to the search crawl in SharePoint online.
For SharePoint server on-premise, we can start the search full crawl, however, for SharePoint online, we could not start the search full crawl manually.
You can wait for some time to complete the search full crawl in SharePoint online, then check whether it works.
As this is the forum for SharePoint server on-premise, I’m not familiar with the SharePoint online search crawl, for this issue, I recommend you can post a new question in the forum for Office 365/SharePoint online.

I would reinstall - the missing exe file is troubling and you need to be able to enable detailed error messages if you have any hope in developing applications. You might be able to configure that via IIS control panel rather than the command line - you'd need to check the IIS forums for more details.

The Windows version you have should be fine. I believe that Windows 7 Home Basic only supports limited IIS7 functionality - no ASP or .NET. But I believe Premium supports it fully.

Results page only displays partial record

Hello everyone: I am new to this forum and would like to
request some help. I have searched and searched but cannot find the
answer to my problem on this forum or others.
I problem is as follows;
I have a results page which displays the complete version a a
single news story. I am pulling the story with a simple URL
Parameter. The PHP tage for the affected field contains a simple
nl2br statment and I am not using any complicated queries to pull
the data.
When I update the record from the update page I get no errors
of any kind, but when I load the page that displays the updated
record, the contents of the field in question is trucated.
I cannot see any problems with any of the code and I am quite
baffled by it.

I am really quite embarrassed, about this but I think I found
the problem...
I had a look at the table configuration in MySQL
Administrator, and there was the problem staring me right in the
face.....
The field 'story' was set to VARCHAR(255) ! I reset it to
TEXT and all is fine now!
Please accept my sincerest thanks for your help. Your
suggestion to check if I was using a textarea is what led me to
check the datatye again. I have no idea how it got changed but I
now know where to check first if it happens again.

Html:link action html:link on results page null

I am sure that this is something simple and small but I have been banging my head against this problem for a while now.
I am using the <html:link> tag on my index.jsp page activates an action, retrieves a result and forwards to the homePage.jsp. The home page has a tiles layout and the results are actually in homePage_lowerLeftLevel.jsp within the homePage.jsp. Below the results I have an <html:link> tag which is identical to the tag in the index.jsp but now instead of seeing the link there is [ServletException in:/pages/homePage_leftLowerLevel.jsp] null' and if I go back to the index.jsp I get the following error�

Simple Question: Building a basic results page

I’ve followed the Dreamweaver CS3 help file:
”Building a basic results page” in building a simple
search and results page set for a very simple MySQL query. After
restarting multiple times, I’m not getting a results page,
but rather “HTTP 500” …no page to display of
course. After extensive web searches for possible help file errors,
suggestions, my errors, etc., I’m lost. I have programming
experience but not with Dreamweaver.

are you testing this at a local host address like this,
http://localhost/mysite/myform.html
if yes, do NOT use site root relative paths. they won't work
for local
testing.
When you submit the form, it's going here to find the
processing script:

instead of
http://localhost/mysite/member_result_test2.php
change the action path to a document relative path.
(you can use site root relative paths locally if you set up a
virtual host

I have implemented custom search similar to seeded search.After searching the values are displayed in advance table.Here I have created custom VO and able to search the results and displaying in advance table.While after clicking on show/hide button it is giving me following error.

Having trouble displaying images on my results page

I have tried placing the following code (<img src="*<?php echo $row_rsppleresults['picture_upload']; ?>*>) BOLDED AREA (see code below very last entry) in hopes that it would display the image. However, what happens after I place the code in that location is that I get an invalid code error that there is something wrong with the Italic BOLDED area (see below very last entry). In addition, to that it changes the html formatting on my page when I try to view the page and no image shows up. As of right now when someone fills out the input form the photo automatically get uploaded into the following directory-/public_html/rescuealerts/fomdata/uploads_missing_person_form. I am clueless how to connect the correct image with the correct input information in the search display table. Below you will find the following- my code for the results page and my dynamic table. Everything else in the dynamic table displays correctly. It the images that I can seem to get displayed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

First off, you should style the table, rows and cells by using CSS. Also, there is no need for a div within the cell because, again, you can use CSS to do the styling for you. Not only that, depending on the DOCTYPE that has been used, tou will get an invalid markup when using align=left.
Depending on what is included in the picture_upload field (just the name and extension or the complete path and file name) your markup should look like

"There was an error processing a page. Invalid Function resource."

I've got a PDF file that I'm trying to split up its pages. The resulting page gives the error: "There was an error processing a page. Invalid Function resource." I've looked at each object, and other than the object #'s are different all the necessary objects exist. I'm not sure what I'm missing or what I've got wrong. I'll attach the original file and the resulting file that I create.
Any help would be appreciated.
