Thanks,

Based on the error trace
Caused By: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-12899: value too large for column "DEV_OIM"."REQUEST_APPROVALS"."APPROVAL_STATUS" (actual: 442, maximum: 32)
you are inserting a value too large for REQUEST_APPROVALS.APPROVAL_STATUS column. It should contain values like COMPLETED, approved, rejected etc... Check your custom approval process again.

    Hi,
    I have run into the same problem with SOA 11.1.1.5 version. In my case after fixing the following two errors it seems to work fine.
    If you have followed the guide, there must be some errors:
    First the java code if copied then contains an extra enter value:
    Instead of:
    "try {
    System.out.println("Prototype for invoking an OIM API from a SOA Composite");
    System.out.println("RTM Usecase: Self Registration Approval by Organization
    Administrator");"
    Use the following:
    "try {
    System.out.println("Prototype for invoking an OIM API from a SOA Composite");
    System.out.println("RTM Usecase: Self Registration Approval by Organization Administrator");"
    The other error is that you should not use <BEAHOME>/oracle_common/modules/oracle.jps_11.1.1/jps-manifest.jar, but the <BEAHOME>/oracle_common/modules/oracle.jps_11.1.1/jps-api.jar in jdeveloper. After these the deployment to the application server works fine for me.

    Are you referring to creating an resource object (e.g. group) on the Organization itself (as opposed to users in that Organization) ? If so this can be done from a post-process event handler on the Organization object.

  • Runtime error - FBL1N - vendor balance with customer line item

    Hi gurus,
    One scenario where i have assign vendor as customer & customer as vendor in vendor & customer data. also make tick mark for both clearing with vendor & customer.
    when i see the customer report with vendor item it shows me the customer & vendor dues but when i tried to see the vendor balance with customer line item it gives dump error.
    Runtime Errors         PERFORM_NOT_FOUND
    Exception              CX_SY_DYN_CALL_ILLEGAL_FORM
    Error analysis
        An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.
        The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_DYN_CALL_ILLEGAL_FORM', was
         not caught in
        procedure "%_LDB_CALLBACK" "(FORM)", nor was it propagated by a RAISING clause.
        Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the
        exception would occur, the current program is terminated.
        The reason for the exception is:
        The program "RSDBRUNT" is meant to execute an external PERFORM,
        namely the routine "CB_DDF_GET_KNA1 " of the program "RFITEMAP ", but
        this routine does not exist.
        This may be due to any of the following reasons:
        1. One of the programs "RSDBRUNT" or "RFITEMAP " is currently being developed.
        The name "CB_DDF_GET_KNA1 " of the called routine may be incorrect, or
        the routine "CB_DDF_GET_KNA1 " is not yet implemented in the program "RFITEMAP
        2. If the program SAPMSSY1 is involved in the runtime error, one of
        the function modules called via RFC is not flagged as remote-capable.
        (see Transaction SE37  Goto -> Administration -> RFC flag)
        3. There is an inconsistency in the system. The versions of the
        programs "RSDBRUNT" and "RFITEMAP " do not match.
    Warm regards,
    Dhananjay R.

    Hi martin
    still problem was not solved. actually i am working on ECC 6.0 & not required to implement the sap note on development. i had done the configuration in vendor master & customer master for clearing.
    please suggest me.....what to do ?
    Than'x

  • Need Help Configuring Membership Website with External Approval Process

    I am working on configuring a membership website for a group of scientist.  Here are the interesting requirements.  Any brainstorming would be helpful.
    1 - A prospective member applies online. Within the application the prospective member has to include a reference for previous work proving his qualifications and naming a reference to confirm the qualifications.  The prospective member has to include the reference's name and email address.   (Site visitor creats a new user-submitted webapp item, easy enough.)
    2 - The application needs to kick off a workflow to an external site visitor (someone who doesn't have a site login).  This reference needs to confirm of reject the prospective member's qualifications.
    3 - If the external site visitor approves the reference, then the membership director needs to be emailed of the approval.  This approval should then kickoff another approval process to ask the membership director for his approval.
    4 - If the external site visitor rejects the reference, then the membership directory needs to be emailed the rejection notification.  (If the reference rejects then there will be some sort of appeal process or ability to start over or submit a different reference.)
    5 - If the reference approves and the membership director approves, then the prospective member is notified and submitted an invoice to pay.  His memberhsip is not active until he pays.
    6 - Once the member pays, then he appears in the online directory.
    7 - The member will also be able to login and edit his profile as needed.
    That about sums it up.  Any ideas??
    THANKS!

    1. Do I need to connect the two base stations via an ethernet cable?
    OR
    Can I simply plug the second base station into a power outlet in any room, along with the external hard drive connected to it's USB port?
    Airport Utility would not even recognize the second base station unless it is using an ethernet LAN-to-LAN connection. (It would not recognize the second base station with WAN-to-LAN connection.)
    You basically have three choices here that will allow the second AEBSn to share the attached USB HDD:
    Wired: Interconnect the two AEBSns by Ethernet; reconfigure both base stations into a roaming network.
    Wireless: Configure both AEBSns for an extended network. Note: This is what Lowell Tuttman is referring to.
    Wireless: Configure the second AEBSn as its own wireless network. This would work but would require network clients to switch network to access the drive or access the Internet. Not really practical and not recommended.
    The following Apple Support link provides very detailed information on setting up either a roamng or extended network with multiple AirPorts.
    2. Since I don't really care about the second base station utilizing the internet connection, do I set it up in Airport Utility as "create a new wireless network"?
    This is the current setting and I have a steady green light. However, Time Machine does not recognize the disk.
    In the first choice I provided, the second AEBSn would be configured to both "Wireless Mode = Create a wireless network" and "Connection Sharing = Off (Bridge Mode)."

  • Error compiling the BPEL classes while configuring custom approval process

    Hi,
    I get the below error, but unable to fix this. Any one who did face this issue please share your thoughts to overcome this.
    Error(45,34): Failed to compile bpel generated classes.
    failure to compile the generated BPEL classes for BPEL process "ApprovalProcess" of composite "default/SelfRegistrationApproval!1.0"
    The class path setting is incorrect.
    Ensure that the class path is set correctly. If this happens on the server side, verify that the custom classes or jars which this BPEL process is depending on are deployed correctly. Also verify that the run time is using the same release/version.
    Thanks,
    Bhaskar

    You need to keep all the custom jars at three places :
    1) Soa ext , and make sao extension jar by running ant
    2) Bpel classpath
    3) in your project as an external referrence

  • Error while accessing application with custom components

    Hi experts,
    I have an application (HAP_MAIN_DOCUMENT) of component FPM_OIF_COMPONENT which uses a Webdynpro component with the same name (HAP_MAIN_DOCUMENT). This Webdynpro component (HAP_MAIN_DOCUMENT) uses 2 other components (HAP_DOCUMENT_BODY and HAP_DOCUMENT_HEADER).
    For my client requirement, i need to create the custom components by copying from standard components as the UI layout changes are quiet huge and not manageable with the enhancements. To accomodate this i have changed the standard configurations by replacing the standard web dynpro components with the custom ones copied. Apart fomr this there are no changes to the standard.

  • Error while deploying ABCS with custom XPATH using AID

    Hi All,
    I use a custom xpath function as given below in the Provider ABCS BPEL.
    <copy>
    <from expression="sql:queryToWhereClause(ora:getNodes('xxx','xxxx','xxxxxxxx'))"/>
    <to variable="variableName" part="predicate"/>
    </copy>
    When I deploy this ABCS from jdeveloper, everything works fine.
    When I try to deploy the ABCS composite using the AID, it throws this error,
    [scac] error: in QueryPersonEbizProvABCSImplProcess.bpel(733): could not resolve xpath function "queryToWhereClause", because function "sql:queryToWhereClause" not registered.
    I have dropped the classe into $SOA_HOME/soa/modules/oracle.soa.ext_11.1.1/classes, and it still looks like the AID is not able to locate the class. Am I dropping the classes into the right location, or is it something else that is missing? Any pointers are appreciated.
    Thanks
    Anish.

    Anish,
    this comes from the fact that the SOA compilation tools don't include $SOA_HOME/soa/modules/oracle.soa.ext_11.1.1 in the class path, e.g. in $SOA_HOME/bin/ant-sca-compile.xml which is in turn used by AID for compiling composites.
    You can work around this by adding the custom classes/libraries to the classpath in $SOA_HOME/bin/ant-sca-compile.xml. Insert the following entry in section '<path id="scac.tasks.class.path">':
    <pathelement path="${oracle.home}/soa/modules/oracle.soa.ext_11.1.1/oracle.soa.ext.jar"/>
    With that ant-sca-compile.xml and therefore also AID will be aware of your custom xpath function and the compilation error should disappear.

    oh I thought of recon. Yes, you have to supply the same date format which is defined in Target Date Format for provisioning. can you update target date format as dd-mmm-yy. Even the given format is same, try once
    even verify the parameter Database Date Format parameter for provisioning. It should also have the same value as Target Date Format

  • Error:invalid central system in  requet approval process(AE)

    Hi,
    In AE while approving the request,  in final stage i am getting an error "invalid central system ".anyone please help me to know the solution for this?

    You need to check whether the system for which you are doing the provisioning is a part of your CUA system. If not then Go to the
    Configuration tab-> Workflow-> CUA System.
    In the system change the value to the "-Select-". Then you will be able to create the request for your system.

  • Loading resources with customized class loader

    I have a customized classloader that keeps classes and resources in a table in byte[] form. It works fine as far as loading classes go, I just call defineClass with the byte array corresponding to the class. My problem is how to load resources. I already have the resource data in the table, which you'd think would be a good thing, but the method that has to be overridden (getResource or findResource) is supposed to return an URL to the resource. The only way I can think of to do that is to write the data to a file and return an URL to that file, but I don't even wanna touch that solution with a nine foot stick. Surely there must be a better way!?

    Usually, when your resources are in a custom source, you create and implement your own URL protocol (like jar:). This is done by creating your own java.net.URLStreamHandler and java.net.URLConnection implementations. You can peruse the jar implementation in sun.net.www.protocol.jar as a good example.
    Once you have your own protocol that knows how to get to your resource file and how to identify and extract a resource, you simply use that protocol in the URLs returned by your ClassLoader. The resource URLs can then be used as you would normally use any URL.
    A tutorial describing how all of this works, and how to implement your own is at:
    http://developer.java.sun.com/developer/onlineTraining/protocolhandlers/
    I hope you find this of some help.

    It seems I trying to use jaxb 2.x classes but oas 10.1.3.5 uses jaxb 1.0. Is there anyway to get this to work with jaxb 2.x? The error message I'm receiving now is

    Its difficult to tell without looking at your TLD file i.e. mytaglib.tld
    However, a guess is that you may be refering to an invalid or otherwise corrupted DTD from your TLD.
    Check that out.
    The official DTD for TLDs in JSP 1.1 is http://java.sun.com/j2ee/dtds/web-jsptaglibrary_1_1.dtd
    and the official DTD for TLDs in JSP 1.2 is http://java.sun.com/dtd/web-jsptaglibrary_1_2.dtd

  • Search KM resources involved in approval process

    Hi all,
    I would like to know if there is any way to search documents not published in SAPKM through TREX or some feature better than a deep search through the collection hierarchy using SAPKM APIs. The last approach is very CPU time and RAM consuming, and probably not very scalable in my (or any) system landscape.
    Thank you very much.
    Best Regards.
    Jonathan

    Hi,
    just an idea. TREX uses an user called INDEX_SERVICE (search in System Configuration -> KM -> Content Management -> Utilities -> System Principals)which has read permissions all over the repositories. You know that the not published documents are visible for users with admin privileges. So maybe chenging the TREX user permissions in yor repository should lead to indexing the documents not published yet.
    This is theory, you have to try it on your own
    hope this helps a bit,
    Romano
