Error starting process
Hi,
I've created a process that I can finely trigger from web services navigator as well as from SOAPUI.
However, this process has to be triggered by a JEE client (non-SAP) and it is not working propertly.
I've checked the xml request sent from SOAPUI and from this specifc client and they slightly differ (see below).
Any help on finding a way to make my SAP BPM process compatible with this Java client would be appreciated.
The other way around (changing the request sent by the client) is not possible because of its vendor.
This SOAP envelope works (SOAPUI's):
<SOAP-ENV:Envelope
xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"
xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
xmlns:SOAP-ENC="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/"
xmlns:sol="http://vetta.com/Solicitacao"
xmlns:com="http://vetta.com/ComprasCorporativas/"
xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
<SOAP-ENV:Header/>
<SOAP-ENV:Body>
<com:CriarSolicitacao>
<in>
<sol:nomeSolicitante>Marcos123</sol:nomeSolicitante>
This SOAP envelope does not work (JEE client's):
<SOAP-ENV:Envelope
xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"
xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
xmlns:SOAP-ENC="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/"
xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
<SOAP-ENV:Body>
<CriarSolicitacao xmlns="http://vetta.com/ComprasCorporativas/">
<in xmlns="http://vetta.com/Solicitacao">

Best regards,
Ricardo Giacomin
Sorry, I forgot to mention the problem...
In fact, the process is triggered but all web service parameters are null.
For the beforementioned request (excerpt below), params nomeSolicitante, codigo, etc (all elements of complex type Solicitacao). are null when the process is triggered..
<in xmlns="http://vetta.com/Solicitacao">

What can be the reason now ?

Error starting BPM process in CE 7.2
Hi Guys,
I created a BPM process and deployed it on CE 7.2 server. When I try to start it from Process Repository , I get following error.
com.sap.tc.bpem.wdui.procstarter.procstarter.comp.ProcStarterComp$MyException: Error :Start event ID is null; Check if the necessary services are started
Start Event and end event are defined.
Any idea what this error is about.
Thanks,
Yomeshhi,
how about other bpm process?
if all are like this, you have to check the bpm service.
Best regards,

I need some help with my script. It copies the file to the remote laptops but when it needs to install the .exe it fails.

Enter-PSSession is used for interactive remote sessions. Look into Invoke-Command instead.

Adobe HCM Processes and Forms Start processes iView error
Hi,
We are implementing Adobe HCM processes. The forms based on the PCR technology are working fine. However, we want the new HCM Processes and Forms technology. We have implemented Business packages for MSS, HR Administrator and XSS (PC_GUI). ADS is configured correctly as the PCR Adobe forms are working fine.
We want to use the WebDynpro version of HCMPF and NOT the ABAP version. When starting the Start Processes IView (sap.com/paasrprocst) we get the error:

I have a weblogic support SR open and they suggested to add -XXtlaSize and -XXlargeObjectLimit to our JVM parameter. With these parameters, we are getting below error in Windows frequently:
Reporting queued error: faulting application java.exe, version 1.5.0.11, faulting module jvm.dll, version 27.3.1.1, fault address 0x0014b442.
I have seen few threads on Sun forum, but answer was not posted there. Details of our environment are as below:-
JVM : JROCKIT 1.5.0.11
OS : Windows 2003
Application Server : Weblogic 10
Any inputs or pointers will be highly appreciated as this is a bit urgent for me...

I am trying to use Start-Process to drive Regedit merging a REG file with this code.
Start-Process regedit -Argumentlist:"/S $TempReg" -Wait -ErrorAction:Stop
When the REG file is properly formatted this works a treat, but I can't seem to address the error condition. If I do a Try/Catch it seems to produce a successful Try. I tried doing it with a return code as well, and that didn't seem to see the error either.
Am I doing something wrong in the code, or is Regedit a special case, and if so, can I catch errors from it at all?
Thanks!
GordonHmm, I assume you mean Regedit can't be used "with an error trap"? So, perhaps a different form of the question. First thing to note is that I have tried to address this with direct PowerShell access to the registry, and for some reason Autodesk
products don't respond well to that approach. Everything looks right when I do it, but then the Autodesk product will push it's own settings over the top, and their settings are idiotic. However, when I push my settings via REG file the Autodesk products accept
it and move on.
So, does anyone have a suggestion for either
A: Identifying exactly what the difference is between the .REG and Set-ItemProperty approaches, so the more elegant solution can be made to also work? Or
B: Another approach to REG file merge that does allow for error trapping?
My only other option I think is to implement it without error trapping, as the functionality is pretty important, and the most likely errors will show up in testing not production anyway.
Thanks!

Hi,
wihout changing the version or so we suddenly we experience the following error at status page (although the monitored web-page is fine):
Current alert: Failed to start e-TEST agent: error starting agent: \ne-TEST process has not established socket in 30 seconds.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advanceHi emposadi,
It looks like the e-Load server is having trouble communicating with the agent. Are you running the load test using an agent on the same machine or remote machine? You might want to see if a process has grabbed a port that the server communicates with the agent on. I would reboot the machines in question, shut down the Empirix Application Server and verify that ports 1099 and 9001 are not in use. Those are the ports that e-Load uses to communicate with the agent.

Getting the Metric evaluation error start - Unable to run the process
Hi,
I am getting the below error:
Metric evaluation error start - Unable to run the process
We are using the Grid Control for monitoring purposes, and we get this error frequently from different databases. Please do let me know if anyone have faced this error before or know about it. Any kind of help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks.Where are you seeing this error?
Can you confirm the target exists (check targets.xml on the agent) and that the instance of the target has it defined correctly (all the required instance properties are there)?
Given that those check out, can you open up the metric browser on the agent and make sure the target looks ok there. -
