Error upon component startup post deployment of custom tasklow

Hi All,
I know similar post have addressed a similar issue, however, I cannot seem to get around my issue.
Forgive me as I am very new to ADF and JDev. Any help is greatly appreciated.
I am using JDev 11.1.1.6 and my WLS install is 10.3.6
I am following instruction provided in the Whitepaper: Oracle Utilities Customer Self Service - Whitepaper: Customizing and Extending OUCSS Custom Portals Release 2.0.1 E36186-02
I have no problem deploying the new Taskflow to the managed server. Also no issue with restarting the Managed server.
The issue occurs when I go to start my OUCSS Portal web app through EM - when I do this I get the following message:
*Unresolved WebApp library references defined in weblogic.xml, of module 'OUCSSPortalWAR.war' [Extension-Name: com.oracle.ugbu.ss_2.0.1, exact-match: false], [Extension-Name: extend.oucss.portal, exact-match: false].*
Prior to deployment my config.xml looks like this:
<library>
<name>com.oracle.ugbu.ss_2.0.1#[email protected]</name>
<target>WC_CustomPortal</target>
<module-type>war</module-type>

<deployment-order>100</deployment-order>
<security-dd-model>DDOnly</security-dd-model>
</library>
After deployment config.xml looks like this:

Yes Thanks.
I am deploying by right clicking the actual project. Of course, usually I select deploy to the managed server.
When I attempt deploy to WAR the process indicates the following:

  • Error upon deploying a dataservices application

I'm getting a strange error upon deploying a data service project.
The data service project is very simple, I import a single webservice from a port via a URI reference. This import happens fine.
I then choose to build a dataservice from this webservice. I build and compile the project.
When I choose test view, I paste a preformatted xml request which works fine in SoapUI. However, when I try to execute, I get an error (after the bea workshop builds and deploys the application)
    I get a java.lang.noClassDefFoundError: com/bea/ld/sql/api/SQLQueryRequest
    I'm running ALDSP 2.5 on Weblogic 8.1.5
Please see the full attached error message, which is a screenshot from my BEA Workshop for Weblogic Platform IDE.

Thank you mreiche. My workshop IDE set the Aqualogic Data Service Platform Application home to be the workshop home, not the liquiddata home!!
Now I get the following error:

All I really want to do is be able to import my startup's generated .wsdl into an ALDSP data service, and then call that data service. This is turning out a lot more difficult than I thought.

  • Network Error upon startup

I have IChat set to launch on startup but lately I have been getting an error:
    *"Network Error"*
*This computers Internet connection appears to be offline*
In fact it is not. If I select ok instead of network diagnostics all is well but I have to connect iChat normally.
Its almost as if iChat is launching too soon?? IE before the computers has finished making connections.
Im not sure if it is related but I have Insufficient bandwidth errors upon Audio chat too. The errors came first.

    Hi 1stmacPro,
In System Preferences > Accounts > Your account > Login items where is iChat in the list ?
Try deleting it and re-entering it in the list at the bottom (This list is not drag-able).
    This may help.
What is happening is that the OS is allowing Applications to start up before the Network is established properly.
I think Niel once posted a Applscript to add to the list instead of the actual app so that it was launched after the Network was there.

  • Post-deployment configuration failed error in windows 2012 server

    HI,
After complete install WSUS I am getting  post-deployment configuration failed error
WSUS files are not installed in given path even folder also not created
    kindly suggest to me

    Just start from this bit
There are a few workarounds to this problem so that we can complete the WSUS role Installation and move on to bigger and better things with Config Man.
The easy way would be to launch the WSUS admin console. You will immediately get prompted for the post installation tasks. You just populate the fields and you are done.

  • Parser Error In Portlet Startup

We have a portlet application that uses Crystal Reports. It uses the spring framework and runs fine in our development environment (Pluto) but when trying to deploy on the production environment (WebSphere) we get an xml parsing error during the startup. Removing the Crystal Reports jars solves the problem but of course the reports portion of the application won't work. So is there a different set of jars for portal and specifically WebSphere? Or is there xml related functionality in the CR jars  and would eliminating them from the lib solve the problem since there may be framework jars that provide the same functionality in the production environment?
Here's a snippet of the error:
Unexpected exception parsing XML document from ServletContext resource [/WEB-INF/sys-cfg/applicationContext.xml]; nested exception is java.lang.VerifyError: javax/xml/parsers/DocumentBuilder.setEntityResolver(Lorg/xml/sax/EntityResolver;)

The only officially tested and fully supported product for Crystal Reports on Portal Servers/Portlets are the JSR-168 Portal Integration Kits supplied with BusinessObjects Enterprise or Crystal Reports Servers.
There's currently not a fully tested Portal solution for Crystal Reports Java Reporting Component.
There's no different sets of jars for different Web Application Servers with any Business Objects products.
Are you able to isolate which XML file contains the problematic schema?  I'm assuming the error message you have does not show this info.
Other than that, a possible difference is that different XML parsers are being used between your dev and prod web app servers.   I've known issues where the XML parser supplied with Crystal was incompatible with the shared default parser supplied with Web App Servers.
    Sincerely,
    Ted Ueda

    anyone have any idea

    Hi
Stumbled upon the resolution myself. The Bean Area item needs to be set to Visible=Yes in the property palette for the bean within Forms Builder, and also the implementation class also in the bean's properties must match exactly the package & class name specified in the PJC (my full implementation class string had to be set to oracle.forms.demos.runApplication).
As this bean has no user interface component, and since the Visible property has to be set to Yes, to avoid having a random square shape for the bean sitting on the form's canvas, I also set the Width and Height properties for the bean to 0.001. This does show a very small dot on the form, but that will be acceptable.
So in summary there has been a change for PJC / Bean Areas between 6i and 10g Forms, in 6i you could have the Bean Item to be set Visible=No, and the SET_CUSTOM_ PROPERTY built-in would work, however in 10g Forms the Bean Item must be set to Visible=Yes for the SET_CUSTOM_PROPERTY built-in to work.

  • Error message does not lead to the custom tab me51n

    Hi Experts,
When I try to to create a PR in me51n and check, a popup with error messges appear when we pick one of the entry and select edit button that leads to the field of that concerned tab.I have a custom tab and cutom field the issue is error message is displayed to fill the custom field but when I check mark that error and select edit that does not take me to the custom tab where custom field exists please suggest I have tried lot of user exits but no use.
    appreciate your help......

We added some error message checking using Function exit EXIT_SAPLMEREQ_005. How we can bring the screen to Customer Data Tab when there are any errors under the tab. And as long as the error is not fixed, the screen will stay on the tab?
To eloborate my question - in ME51n/Me52n, the system gives a messages window/subscreen with errors or warnings upon clicking the check button or upon save. On the messages window/subscreen, we can select a particular message and edit will take action to the corresponding tab with the cursor on the field with the issue. I understand this is standard functionality.
However I'm looking for a way to make this work for a mandatory field on the customer data tab i.e., when I select the error message pertaining to this mandatory field and choose edit, control should jump to the customer data tab with the cursor on the mandatory field.

  • EBS posting to clear customer open items - Function not working?

    Hello SAPers
I have an issue I just canu2019t seem to resolve! We are receiving MT940 statements and receive customer invoice reference details with field: 86 as follows:
    :61:090910C1500,00FOSB1000270 //100909050      0        035315
    :86:DEPOSIT
    Remitter:1000270 MISSION AUSTRALIA   Ref:1200000017
Immediately following the BTC FOSB the bank quotes the customer number however I am not using this as standard SAP should identify the customer by document number within the note to payee field?
I am using a 2 step process in posting to the clearing account and customer. Config as follows:
    Pst Type 1
    40     Bank
    50     Clearing
    Pst type 2
    40     Clearing
    15     BLANK          DZ     3      15
I have also set up a string to look for the documents ^(12########)$. When we load the statement the first posting is successful however the second does not post to the customer or clear based on the invoice reference. I am using algorithm 020. The error that occurs is F5 102 Customer does not exist in company code xxxx. It actually does exist in the company code.
I have loaded the EBS to the buffer and simulated the search on BELNR and it picks up the document?
I am sure this is standard and a CMOD is not required on this type of functionality? What have I not done to allow posting to the customer based on document number or to post on account where it is not cleared?
Any assistance on this issue is appreciated? Thanks in advance.

  • In your experience what are the most common errors in binding files when deploying?

As the title suggest I'm interested in discussing the most common errors in binding files when deploying.
Reason for this is that I'm currently working on a Powershell script that can parse a binding file and create a reader friendly report (rtf format) with various information.
But the main purpose for this script is to find common errors in the binding file used. And so far these are the ones I've thought of:
    - Tracking enabled for either services or the pipelines they are using (if it's a binding meant for Prod).
    - Orchestrations logical ports not having any ports bound to them.
    - URI containing certain words that's not ok. For example if a binding meant for Prod contains the word "test" anywhere in the URI then that should be reported in the created rtf report. This also applies vice versa.
So now I need your help with coming up with more ideas on common errors that need to be looked after and reported on if found!
Additional features the report should contain:
    - Listing the details of each orchestration, send port, receive port along with their associated receive location(s). To better understand and get a quick overview on exactly what settings are planned to be deployed. Especially the "TransportTypeData"
section which otherwise can be quite tedious to read.
    - List each unique host instance, so that I can easier see directly which ones might need a restart after an import.
I'd appreciate if you can come up with any more features that should be included in this script.
    /Christian @ IntegrationAdmin.com

Filter on send port not on the same line as the Filter tag.
This one is a nice one, I ran into it several times. Mostly after copy/paste of a port definition for a binding file, because Visual Studio is formatting after paste the XML in a way the filter will get invalid. This leads to a cryptic error
    during importing the binding.

  • Fusion Applications 11.1.7: Deploy a custom ADF page to Fusion Applications

    Hi,
I am trying to create and deploy a custom ADF page in Fusion Applications(in premise) which will allow search, create and update operations on a custom table. I have been going through a pile of documents and this forum but I still have the following questions.
I have a PageA based on the UIShell. This page is linked to the taskflow TaskFlowA which provides the search functionality. TaskFlowA calls TaskFlowB and TaskFlowC which provide the create and edit functionalities.
I have enabled security from Jdeveloper (Application>Secure>Configure ADF Security)
    Question#1: Is this step required?
To deploy it I will generate the ADF Library JAR for the Model and ViewController. The ADF Library JAR for the model will be placed into the <ExplodedEarDirectory>/APP-INF/lib directory of an existing application(say HCM). The ADF Library JAR for the UI will be placed in the <ExploadedWarDirectory>/WEB-INF/lib directory.
Question#2: Are any other steps required for deployment.
I will then add permissions for the page by following the steps in How To Configure Security For Custom Pages/Taskflows Added To Fusion Applications(Doc ID 1486524.1). This document lists the steps for configuring authorization policies using APM.
Question#3: While specifying the resource type in APM, I will select RegionResouceType and set the Name to PageA. I understand that I need to provide the full path of PageA in the form xx.xxx.xx. But how do I get the full path?
Finally I will add a new menu entry in the Navigator menu using the setup task “Manage Menu Customizations” by adding a new item.
Question#4: What will be the value of Focus View Id for the new Item? Will it be the Focus View Id that I provided while creating the menu file in JDeveloper?
Question#5: What will be the value of Secured Resource Name? Will it be the same as what I provided in Question#3 above?
    Thanks,
    Sujoy

    Question#1: Is this step required?
Yes if you want to test the security in the integrated WLS .
Question#2: Are any other steps required for deployment.
Yes. Please follow up our earlier post ADF How-To #12: Deploying Customizations to Standalone WLS
For question #3, #4 & #5 please first review our other post ADF How-To #10: Replacing A Bounded Task Flow  This won't answer completely what you asked but would definitely be a step in that direction.
I would also recommend you to go through other posts starting with title ADF How-To #.
    Hope this helps

  • Error in Embeded OC4J while deploying SessionBean

I dont know what is the meaning of this error, nor what is the cause as it never appeared before. Surprisingly the behaviour of the application seems to be behaving normally even though despite this error and when the Oc4J returns done does this mean it started successfully, this error is preventing me from deploying my application to production environment as I guess there's something abnormal going around.
Note:When I get a fresh copy of the application without the new project which contain the session bean the OC4J starts with no errors.
Any ideas what maybe the problem ?

Is your new project trying to access the database?
SQL error: Io exception: The Network Adapter could not establish the connection
Seems to indicate that you have a problem accessing the database probably due to wrong settings of the database connection information.
Also check your data-sources.xml file for any new entries.
