Error using Content Exchange - Package Upload

We've exported content from one portal system using Content Admin -> KM Content -> ICE -> Syndicator -> Global Offer. We then try to upload the ZIP file into another portal system using Content Management -> Content Exchange -> Package Upload. When we upload the file we get the following error message:
The connection was reset
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
    *   The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
          moments.
    *   If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
          connection.
    *   If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
          that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
This used to work!

Hi Redding,
There must be difference in the system configuration in Dev and QA environment.
Difference in terms of Memory, Database size, if the environment is clustered, system optimization parameters etc...
You need to work with your Basis team to understand the difference in these systems.
The exception is because the upload process is not completed because of the huge file size to understand the details of this exception, you need to probably analyze the default trace.

same problem here while trying to transport a large KM package (28GB à 2GB volumes) from EP 7.0 to EP 7.31 SP6. The package upload iView in my target system EP 7.31 crashs with "This page cannot be displayed". I cant find any appropriate exceptions in NWA.
I guess ICE transport isnt an option at all for transporting KM content from 7.0 to 7.31 (http://scn.sap.com/thread/3249426), but i tryed it also, without any success, same behaviour. As i stringent need all metadata (ACL's for example), WebDAV is probably also not reasonable, as far i know you cant transport KM metadata with this method.
Unfortunately Detlev`s link dont works, so i cant get any clues from there. I also tryed to split one KMC archive in volumes à 100MB, but it dont works, because the following volumes are not uploaded and i cant see any KM packages at all.
So, i know i can create smaller KM packages manually, but regarding the data amount its extremly time-consuming. I cant imagine our colleagues from SAP AG are regarding the case of a KM import of large files as realistic, but dont give us a working option to import them. Does anybody have any idea how to handle this issue? Thank you in advance,

You cannot update iPhone 4 to IOS 8.1.2, the highest you can update is IOS 7.1.2.
Unless you've iPhone 4S (looks similar to iPhone 4)

Error using javax.mail package

Hi,
I have included the package javax.mail.* in my code.I have downloaded
jaf 1.0.2 and javamail 1.1.3 from the Sun Microsystems website.
When i try to compile my code i get the error message:
com/voxspectrum/ccvox/EmailServer.java:55: cannot resolve symbol
symbol : class MimeMessage
location: class com.voxspectrum.ccvox.EmailServer
javax.mail.Message msg = new MimeMessage(session);
I am using JDK ver 1.3.1_02. What should i set my path and classpath as, if i am using javax.mail package?

You need to include the path to the mail.jar and activation.jar files in your classpath.
How you do it depends on the OS you are running on
in Windows 95 /98 the easiest way is to edit the autoexec.bat file and add the settings to your already existing classpath statement i.e.
set CLASSPATH=%CLASSPATH%;C:\richard\javamail-1.3\mail.jar C:\richard\jaf-1.0.2\activation.jar
(excuse the word wrapping) then reboot
on Linux / Solaris edit the .profile file for your user and set the CLASSPATH variable to
CLASSPATH=$CLASSPATH:<pathtofile>/mail.jar:<pathtofile>/activation.jar
export CLASSPATH
and that should do it

Error using ADT to package .ipa file

I've got an ANT build file that uses ADT to package a debug ipa file, which used to work fine. But now everytime I run it, it says the following:
     Compilation failed while executing : ld64
     ld: library not found for -lgcc_s.1
     Result: 12
I was just wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem, or something similar?

Using AIR 3.6, and i believe it's still in beta? So this was probably the wrong place to post. But as I mentioned before, it used to work and I haven't updated the SDK. I am using -platformsdk to point to iPhoneSimulator6.0 sdk.

Hi folks, am a bit new with Enterprise Portals, and we are having this kind of error when trying to update record in IT06(HCM).
Data record 0001635000061      2001102919980101000 has grouping value "" instead of "10"
Data record 0001635000061      2002123120011030000 has grouping value "" instead of "10"
Data record 0001635000061      2003051320030101000 has grouping value "" instead of "10"
Data record 0001635000061      9999123120030514000 has grouping value "" instead of "10"
This is using the BP ESS/MSS, where can i find how this error is occuring?

Package Upload iView Error

Dear Gurus,
I need some help with this problem.
I have an EP 6.0.11.0.0 installed.
When I go to "Content Management > Content Exchange > Package Upload", the iView displayed THIS error:
com.sapportals.wdf.WdfError
at com.sapportals.wdf.WdfCompositeController.buildComposition(WdfCompositeController.java:678)
If anyone have an idea, please, let me know

In my case, applying patch 3 of KMC 6.0 SP11 didn't resolve the problem.
Has someone solved the com.sapportals.wdf.WdfError problem when selecting the Package Upload iView?
This is my system info:
J2EE Engine 6.40 PatchLevel 89291.313
Portal 6.0.11.2.0

I'm facing the same problem described in this thread:

Basically, when I go to Content Exchange -> Package Upload, an exception is thrown and the message is: ControllerServletParameterConfiguration: Parameter 'ConfigFileName' is missing!
I have found two more message reporting this kind of error:

The problem wasn't solved in either. The general reply is to upgrade EP and KMC SP11 to the latest patch level (currently, patch level 3). Anyway this doesn't do the trick, as my system is:

1.Unzip the developer content file and u'll find .epa file in it.
2.Go to System Administration -> Transport -> Import
After this select the Client radio button and Upload the epa file.
Then..Click on the Import Button.

KM Content:- unable to upload and Download KM Content

we have three systems dev,quality,and production.
i have some files in KM Quality which have to be transported to production.
i can able the download file "fullupdate.zip" from quality.
but when i am uploading into production nothing is happening,
i used the path content management->content Exchange->package Upload.
when i select the file and click on upload it is processing for some time and showing the same screen again,
not getting any error message or confirmation message.
one more thing i am also not able to upload a file from local desktop to KM.
i can able to create folders and links .
Note:-in the subscriber and syndicator the properties url points tp production server
EP installed on unix system.

ICE Differential package upload - object deletion

I am having an issue with uploading a differential package into another KM repository. As I understand, a differential package will download the data necessary for an incremental update, i.e. any renamed, new or deleted objects will be updated in the target repository.
The issue that I am seeing is that when I delete an object from the source KM, and run through the usual steps:
- create a link to the node that the deleted object was under (other objects still exist)
- create a differential package (root > ice > root > ice > Syndicator > Global Offer > differential package)
- save the zip to local
- upload the package to the new environment using: Content Management > Content Exchange > Package Upload
The deleted object is not removed from this environment. Am I missing a step, doing something wrong or is the deletion just not possible? Any help would be appreciated,

Error package upload - com.day.jcr.vault.fs.config.ConfigurationException: Filter pattern

I am uploading a content packaged created in one environment to QA environment. I see this error everytime. The package upload status bar moves till 100%, see some more updates but at the end pops up this exception - com.day.jcr.vault.fs.config.ConfigurationException: Filter pattern must not be empty.
I could not make much out of it or successfully install the packages.
Has anyone seen similar error?

I guess problem is you have one empty filter in to your filter discription. Remove that build your package and try to install it again.

I want to upload the ice package of PDK, I am following the steps from its installation guide.
But I cannot see the "Upload Package" under Content Managment->Content Exchange.
I have also assigned the required roles to the user(JavaDeveloper, super_admin_role,ContentManager,navigationconnectortestrole).
Any idea?

Earlier i was trying to access server using IP address, but when i try to access it using host name the problem has gone. I guess, its effect of some domainb policies(Not sure).

Error while accessing a library using content and structure

I have a library having document and folder inside it. When I open the library using content and structure I get an error with a correlation ID. When checked the the logs with Correlation ID got an error message "View 'All Document' does not exist."
'All Document' is name of default view on the library.
When I open the library from view all site content the library is being opened.
Please help!!!

Make sure that the user account with issue has permission to view the All Documents view of the library. --
Yes, user Account have the permission
Check if the issue occurs with other libraries in the Content and Structure. If not, I recommend to save the library as
a template including contents and then create a new library based on this template. After that use the new library instead of the old library. --
No other library have this problem. I cannot save the library as template including the contents as the it has many folders and files. The current size of library is 786 MB
Clear cache in the browser or use another browser to see if the issue still occurs. --

Hi Dear,
Use T . Code u2013 OMBT, then go to change interval , then go to edit > insert year (f6) and mention in year 9999 and choose the number range interval from number to number and mention in current number is 0 and save exit.
