Error - Weblogic 9.2 -
Hi,
I´m having a recurrent error in a managed server in my weblogic 9.2 cluster.
Here´s the error :
<ExecuteThread: '2' for queue: 'weblogic.socket.Muxer'> <<WLS Kernel>> <> <> <1233663894906> <BEA-000405> <Uncaught Throwable in processSockets

Here´s the arquitecture of my cluster :
Weblogic 9.2 clustered (2 managed server) each in a different machine.
6 JMS servers (3 in each managed server) with 2 persistent store.
3 JDBC connection pools configured.
This error only occurs in the 2º managed server, the 1º dosen´t have this error.
I´ve search the error in google and found that error <BEA-000405> said to contact the BEA support for resolution.
Any have any idea what error is this, and how can i resolve it??
cheers,
Nuno
Hi,
we had the same problem. Root cause was another WebLogic cluster on other servers within the same subnet using the same cluster multicast IP and port.
After changing port number to an unique and unused value the error was gone.
Kind regards,
Volker

2. My SOA server is coming up but in admin mode and giving OPSS connections errors.
Any help is really appreciated!
Thanks,
SKHi Faisal -
is your domain in development mode or production mode?
- While configuring my domian , I had selected Prod Mode, but pon start up when I see in admin server console, it is starting in developement mode already ?
Any idea how, why ?
if its production mode you can switch to development mode, change all the credentials in the config.xml and configurations under sub folders to cleartext and start the server..
- Let me still try these and get back to you.
Thanks,
SK -

Please help.
thanks in advanceI've tried every trick in the book but no luck and finally I found a solution for this problem. Maybe it is not the best practice but it works:
1-Uninstall JDeveloper.
2-Delete Oracle Middleware file located in C:\Oracle
3-Delete the JDeveloper file located in C:\Users\MyUser\AppData\Roaming (Because the integrated Weblogic server is actually there)
4-Reinstall JDeveloper
That solved the issue.
Thanks -

Authentication error weblogic workshop
Hi ,
I am trying to debugg my application with weblogic workshop but its
giving authentication error. My application is deployed and i can access it
. I am using ant . Actually when i click the debug button it statrts the
build and after successful termination of the build process it opens the
debug view but gives the following error :-
Authentication Failure when connecting to server
Check your weblogic server username and password are correct and that the
user has full admin rights.
I have given the same username and password in workshop that i gave while
configuring my domain. I guess workshop is not able to communicate with the
server . Please help me out. I have spent enough time resolving this.
ThanksThe text of the error message may be incorrect, but the intent of the
message is correct. You cannot use <max-beans-in-free-pool> with a Stateful
session bean. See:

Hello,
I have created a session EJB in Weblogic workshop. In the propertyeditor, I have set the "type" to "Stateful". I have then set the
max-beans-in-free-pool to 1. I build my ejb project, and I get the below
error:
"A Stateless Session Bean cannot have a tag max-beans-in-free-pool". Thisdoesn't make any sense to me since I have specified that it is a "Stateful"
session bean. I am using Weblogic workshop 8.1 sp2 -
"Credentials could not be validated" Error - Weblogic deployment of BSSV
Hi All
I am a long time integrator with little JDE experience.
I am tasked with getting Business Services published from JDE Business Functions.
I have followed the MTRs and have Weblogic 10.3 on a Windows 2008 64 bit server.
JDE is E812 with tools 8.98 4
The Management Agent is installed and on the Server Manager, the Business Services Server was created.
A business function has been written and after following the steps from both the Business Services Dev guide and a presentation from openworld, the function was built into a published Business Services.
Now, when this is tested, both from the JDeveloper Integrated Server and from the Weblogic described above, the following error occurs:
"Credentials could not be validated from message or from configuration file"
Can anyone suggest why this happens? Are there deployments missing from my J2EE?
Apart from the deployment from the Jdevelopper, a complete build of the ear has been done and deployed on the managed server, but this gives the same error.
I have checked that the jdbj.ini is installed correctly and that the details are correct in there.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Ryan

Edited by: 912783 on 2012/02/10 6:21 AMHi
We managed to get this working, but it is almost impossible to say what went wrong in the first place.
Basically, we began a fresh install with a new domain and following the docs everything came right!
there was no need to go into the JDE DB tables though. -
Deployment error - weblogic 7.0.2 to weblogic 9.2
Hello,
We have recently Upgraded our server from 7.0 to 9.2.
Our application doesnt get deployed.It throws following error.
Unable to access the selected application.
Exception in AppMerge flows' progression
We compiled our application in Eclipse using JDK 1.4
But could not compile using JDK1.5 which comes with BEA9.2
Can this be a problem.
Our ear file has 4 .war files and 34 .jar files
I tried the solutions below but nothing worked out.
Can some one suggest a solution.
Posting a section of our application.xml here below...
Pls suggest if any changes....

<context-root>ekmisadmin</context-root>
</web>
</module>
</application>Well,
I was able to remove this error.But struck at another one.
I will first specify what was wrong in my application.
As I said Weblogic 9.2 was not recognizing my .ear file for a deployment and throwing below error.
The problem was in my web.xml file.
I have declared a security role name twice.see below...
<security-role>

Create Modify Cancel FHRB

<role-name>cmcFHRB</role-name>
</security-role>
<security-role>

Create Modify Cancel FSRB

<role-name>cmcFHRB</role-name>
</security-role>
After i fixed this Weblogic accepted my ear file for deployment and deployed as well.
Which was not case in Weblogic 7 (It used to deploy even with above errors)
But now when i start the services.
It doesnt start.
I tried to deploy a simple ear file but services dont get started.
wondering why its happening.Throws below error.
An error occurred during activation of changes, please see the log for details.
weblogic.application.ModuleException:
java.lang.NullPointerException:
I'll be gratefull if some one can throw some light in my eyes, instead of just reading this quote and ignoring.
thanks again very much

Regards,Hi Jay,
Thanks for the reply. I have applied all you have mentioned and works fine for weblogic server 10.3 with java 1.6 update 23.
The issue I am facing is with weblogic server 10.0 MP2 with java 1.5 update 21.Please note that I am not able to start the weblogic server and hence unable to create the domains(version:weblogic server 10.0 MP2).Please advice/suggest on what actions to be performed. Thanks.
Installation went on smoothly and the results while trying to start the server are mentioned below.
While starting weblogic server using 'Quick Start' form the windows menu, a pop up window throws out the error: client VM not supported.

WLI V2.1 install error: WebLogic Server 6.1 SP1 is not installed.
Hi,
FYI
I installed WLS 6.1 and then Service Pack 1 (separately).
I then installed WLI V2.1 and got the error.
WebLogic Server 6.1 SP1 is not installed.
This is on Windows NT.
The problem was due to the registry.xml file being empty of content. Thus the
install did not know where the WLS 6.1 SP1 was. The Service Pack 1 for WLS 6.1
emptied this file, incorrectly.
I think if you download and install WLS 6.1 Service Pack 1 in one install and
not separately the emptying of the registry.xml does not occur.
To get around the problem, I got BEa Support to send me a registry.xml and I edited
it to be my own machine and BEA_HOME directory. The WLI V2.1 install then worked.(Not
the safest solution but it worked!)

hi weblogic users,
i have a problem in sending jms messages
across two different weblogic host/domain.
the configuration is:
jms client:

server:

-host: 192.168.1.22:6001
-domain: soa_domain
-cannot access client's console: http://192.168.30.133:7011/console
i use standard lookup method in my java client code:

String settingCF="jms/adminduk/cf";
String settingQueue="jms/adminduk/queue/central";
env=new Hashtable();
env.put( Context.INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY, "weblogic.jndi.WLInitialContextFactory" );
env.put(Context.PROVIDER_URL, settingJmsServer);
ctx = new InitialContext( env );
System.out.println("-- Destination");
ds = (Destination) ctx.lookup(settingQueue);
System.out.println("-- ConnectionFactory");
cf = (ConnectionFactory) ctx.lookup(settingCF);
but it's getting exception
when looking up the connection factory (look at the bottom of my post):
ok now, how to solve this problem?
-i tried to change the server to another host with WL 10.3.1.0 installed (so
it's the same version with the client) and its ok (receiving messages)
-i tried to deploy the WS client to the same host as the jms (WL 10.3.2.0), so no
remote lookup needed (java lookup code adjusted), it's ok
-based on the stack trace:
"Could not find dynamically generated class:
'weblogic.jms.frontend.FEConnectionFactoryImpl_1032_WLStub
(class not found) ..."
-does it mean do i've to use the same version of WL installed in the client side ??
-is WL 10.3.2.0 compatible with WL 10.3.1.0 ?
-is it possible to use a different version of weblogic (in the client/server)
in using the jms feature ?
-do the jms server must have access to client's port (7011) for it to work ?
thanks,
any info/hints/helps will be appreciated :)

---------- end error ---------1 - A class-not-found is an odd exception to get on a server. Did you perhaps try to add client-only jars to the server classpath? The server classpath is already setup properly to act as a client.
2 - Its usually not a good practice to create contexts in client code (instead of simply using the Servlet context in your case), or to hard code URLs, dests, and CF references into the code. It works, but can be hard to maintain and inefficient.

Hil all,
I´m installing Oracle WebLogic Server 11gR1 (10.3.1) for windows, I´ve already download from this URL de Package Installer (all of them) http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/ias/htdocs/wls_main.html and all of them have the same problem.
I start the executable file, and it´s begins to unzip the files but when this step ends an error appear on a window "Could not locate the launcher command".

Edited by: user8700172 on 14-sep-2009 7:42We don't know the cause, but this problem was affecting all the desktop machines at work (notebooks were ok...). So there goes a solution: when the message appears don't hit the ok button, search your temp folder. There should be a "sfx8C.tmp" directory. Run the installer.jar from there.

Edited by: Rushang.Kansara on Jul 1, 2009 6:46 AMOnce you get to the state where you're out of memory, you'll get any number of possible variations on the error message. These variations will give you absolutely zero help for why you've run out of memory. Without more information, it's impossible to tell whether you have a memory leak, or whether you simply have too small a value for "maxmem" in the JVM.
Typically, I would assume that if the server has been running for a "while" (whatever that means) without error, then it probably isn't a simple issue with setting the "maxmem" value high enough. If it does fail pretty quickly after startup (and processing of initial messages), then it very well could be a maxmem problem. This is done by adding or changing the "-Xmxnnn" command-line parameter to the JVM. For instance, if you wanted to give it 2g of max heap, you would put "-Xmx2048m" on the command line. That value won't work on Windows (not sure about Vista or 64-bit), but it will work perfectly well on Unix/Linux.
If you have a memory leak, it's good to first verify this by sitting on the "Server"->"Performance" page in the WebLogic console. If you watch the "memory free" (or "memory inuse") percentage, you'll see that it varies by a wide margin over time. What you want to do is to be able to force a GC (there should still be a button there to do that) and then note the percent free immediately after that. You should do this every few minutes while the server is actively working. If the percent free value (after the GC) is consistently going down, even slowly, then you likely have a memory leak. This is where it gets a little more difficult. You could look at the free VisualVM tool which provides some memory debugging features, but they are somewhat limited (I only know this from reading some literature, I haven't tried it), or you could look at the commercial tools JProfiler, JProbe, or YourKit (in decreasing order of my personal preference).
