Error when compiling multiple java code files
Hi,
Since I installed J2SDK downloaded from this website, it has never compiled my code correctly when written in multiple java files. Below is a sample of my code and the error message I am getting:
File#1
class testprint{
public static void main(String args[]){
myprint mp = new myprint();
mp.manageprint();
File#2
class myprint{
void manageprint(){
System.out.print("please print");
Here is my error message from the command line:
c:\print>javac testprint.java
testprint.java:4: cannot resolve symbol
symbol : class myprint
location: class testprint
myprint mp = new myprint();
^
testprint.java:4: cannot resolve symbol
symbol : class myprint
location: class testprint
myprint my = new myprint();
^
2 errors
C:\
It seems Java is not recognizing myprint.java file. Do I need to configure anything to make my code work? Please help!
Thanks in advance.

Error when compiling the Java file
Hi I have created a jsp program that uses the java files. i have jboss installed. when i compile the java file it gives compilation error saying that javax.servlet.jsp.tagext.TagSupport not found.
Although when i installed the Tomcat seperately i did not get any compilation error. can anyone tell me how to get out of this problem when Tomcat is not installed seperately.
Thanks,
RakeshHi
I think these errors are due to incorrect classpath settings.While compiling HelloHome ..Helloremote must be in classpath.Also if u have packaged them u must be in the package root during compilation ie if uor remote & home interface is in a package called "ejbserver"
then while compiling u must be in the folder above ejbserver & compile command is
javac .\ejbserver\*.java
If uor home & remote interface is in different folder check wheather u have imported the remote interface inside home interface file. -
Obj. Error when compiling multiple C odules ncluding the nidaqex.h header file
This is a C implementation.
I have two modules. The main program includes a call nidaqex.h . My second module is shown below. cedriver.h is simply another header that contains the counter variables and function definitions.
When I attempt to compile both source and the module I get the following errors:
cedrivercomputeoutput.obj .text: undefined reference to '_GPCTR_Control@12'
cedrivercomputeoutput.obj .text: undefined reference to '_NIDAQErrorHandler@12'
cedrivercomputeoutput.obj .text: undefined reference to '_GPCTR_Set_Application@12'
cedrivercomputeoutput.obj .text: undefined reference to '_GPCTR_Change_Parameter@16'
cedrivercomputeoutput.obj .text: undefined reference to '_GPCTR_Watch@16'
It seems as though the functions from the nidaqex header file are not being recognized. Any ideas?
Attached is the module to be compiled with the main source code. I am using the commands xxx main.c cencoderdrivercomputeoutput.c . The main program also just calls the functions at predetermined times.

Fatal PL/SQL error when calling imported java code
Hi,
I'm developing reports using Report builder 9.0.2 under Win2k and I have the following problem:
I select data into fieds A and B.
I created 2 formulas fA and fB that call a PLSQL function from my report in order to convert A and B based on other data.
I also have a formula fC which is actually fA-fB
I have 3 summary columns on fA, fB and fC. I don't display any of those columns on the report but I created other formulas columns fA_Fmt, fB_Fmt,... to format the values using an imported java class.
This java class is static.
so fA_Fmt looks like this:
function fA_Fmt return Char is
begin
return MyJavaClassPackageName.formatValue( :fA, report_global_variable );
end;
When I run my report under report builder, I get a REP-1401 report error like "fA_Fmt formula: fatal PL/SQL error occured
ORA-39565: Message not found, product RDBMS, facility: ORA"
This happens randomly on any of the formulas.
Sometimes I even get a java.lang.StaskOverFlowError and I have to close and restart report builder.
I've tried to debug and I even caught the exception.
The parameters passed to the java method are fine.
The exception number is 105101 and after a couple of exceptions like this, visual C++ runtime library tells me there's a runtime error in rwbuilder.exe and the application crashes.
I don't know if it's Java, if it's Report builder or even Win2k.
Anyway, I'm stuck with that and I don't know what to do to fix it.
Any idea or work around?
Thanks
ManuHi Manu
I suspect the line given below:
return MyJavaClassPackageName.formatValue( :fA, report_global_variable );
Do not pass report values directly. Instead, assign it to a temporary variable and try again. See if this works:
temp1 <Variable_Type>;
temp2 <Variable_Type>;
temp1 := :fA;
temp2 := report_global_variable;
return MyJavaClassPackageName.formatValue( temp1, temp2 );
Note: You may also hit Fatal PL/SQL errors if the arguments happen to be invalid.

I keep on getting this error when i try to copy files to my 2T Time Capsule, Please help im running out of space on my MacBook Pro....
The operation can’t be completed because an unexpected error occurred (error code -50)I would get an external drive today and copy all your stuff off the TC.. forget trying to load more onto it. There is a good chance after 3years (A 2TB should be only about 2years tops), the disk or the TC itself is on the way out. Do it immediately. If TM is also failing to backup you need to recognise symtoms of impending doom.
Unfortunately the error messages are archane and it is hard to discover their meaning.
You also cannot verify a network drive.. you can verify the TM sparsebundle though so do that.
A5. http://pondini.org/TM/Troubleshooting.html
Reboot the whole network from off.. certainly if you run later OS it can simply lose the drive..
If you still fail to be able to copy to the TC.. then get that external and copy off it. Tell us if you can do that. -

vendor : "Your Vendor";

The above code will produce a "error saving Pixel Bender Byte Code file" error when exporting for flash player in Pixel Bender Toolkit 2.5.449694.
"dst = (sampleNearest(src, outCoord()));" works fine. And anything like "float4 a= float4(b);" will give same error.Thank you for the error report. I'll put it into our bug database. We're bottling things up for the current version. Gven the workaround, it is unlikely we'll be addressing this bug soon. Please accept my apologies for the annoyance this will cause.
In your second example, float4 a = float4(b), does it return an error if b is only a float4 or regardless of what b is? If b is a scalar float, for example, is the conversion performed correctly? If so, this could be an error that only crops up when using constructor/conversion syntax when the thing being converted is already the correct type.
Thanks,

ThanksHi,
From the error it seems that the code is refering ReqLinesNotificationsVOExRowImpl file.
Please make sure that its class file is present in myclasses folder.
Since u have mentioned that ReqLinesNotificationsVORowImpl is already placed in myclasses folder. Hope this should resolve your issue.

Errors when compiling the web service (SAP Web Service Design Tool)
After downloading and installing the SAP de Web Service Design Tool (for Crystal Reports Server) I created a connection, a simple query and was able to deploy a web services. I tested the web service with an Xcelsius dashboard within InfoView. Thereafter I created a second connection (other name but same ODBC connection / server) and created another simple query with two date(range) parameters and a group by year and month function in order to do a select count(). It executes fine, but when I try to publish the web service I get an error.
There are errors when compiling the web service.
Is does not say whatu2019s wrong or how I can solve this problem.
Who can help me?
Some notes:
1) Within expert mode I used a MONTH() SQL function which does not show in the normal mode.
2) It seams that the u2018administrationu2019 of Web Service Design Tool got u2018corruptedu2019 after only creating the two connections, queries and services mentioned above. I believe so because I could select one of two queries when I created the second service, but within the current connection I had only one query.
Thanks for any help,
Ron
ADDITIONAL INFO: The parameters seam to be the problem. After removing the parameters I can publish the service. But without parameters it is NO SOLOTION.
Edited by: RonKoudijs on Aug 26, 2010 6:28 PMHello Taylan,
I think the error that you received was due to packaging issues.I placed the
UtilClass.java file under a directory called data which was present under
the project directory.
When you want to access a java class, you can either place the compiled
class file in the WEB-INF/classes folder or you can place the java file
under the project directory.
I have attached the sample project that I created with your files.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

I would appreciate some help with this. The code works fine in a Windows or Solaris environment but barfs on Apple. Truly annoying....
Anyone?
Thanks in advance,
AlexYes,
Apologies for not stating that information, Steve. Was a bit naughty of me! I guess the reason I didn't was because I just wanted to hear if anyone else running Oracle on Mac received such errors when executing the Java stored proc demos (specifically, the execution of PointRuntime.jDistance). I'm trying to use the HDL interface node in LV8 FPGA with a PCI-5640R and had the "timing constraint" error when compiling my VI, however, the same VI was successfully compiled on a CRIO-9104, it seems the FPGA on PCI-5640R is not good as the one on CRIO-9104, or I'm not using it right. could you please kindly help me out?
I tested it with the sample code downloaded from NI website
( http://zone.ni.com/devzone/conceptd.nsf/webmain/456722DDDE17986A86256E7B0065EE6F ) which demonstrates using an IP core for a filter. To simplify it, I only keep the HDL Interface Node and the While Loop (see "UsingFilterCore.vi" in attached zip file), and then I created 2 projects including this VI (1 for CRIO-9104, in sub folder "CRIO-9104", the other for PCI-5640R, in sub folder "IFRIO 5640"). When opening the 2 projects separately in LV8.0 and selecting the VI for compile, the one for 9104 passed and the other failed. Here I attach the source code, error message screenshot and the NIReport from MAX, hope you can reduplicate the problem.
Can you help me out? Thanks very much !

Message Edited by Jerry_L on 03-26-2006 09:29 PMHi Jerry,
I'm just tried to make all these steps by myself (http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/3516). I have generated FIR filter using Xilinx ISE and got *.VHD file which was going to use in HDL Node.
In the Parameters tab of the HDL Interface Node configuration dialog, double-click in the Names column to add parameters. Create parameters as shown below.
Next, switch to the Code tab. Notice that your parameters now appear in the entity section. To complete the next two sections of code, you will need to refer to the filt.vhd file that you generated earlier and interface the filter core to the LabVIEW FPGA execution system.
1. The first problem I met was integrating VHDL code from earlier generated *.VHD file to CODE tab in properties of HDL Node. Content of entity section in *.VHD is not the same that in your attached file. Please check it in attached files. I'm sure this is the main reasen of problem.
Next, switch to the External Files tab. Click the Add File button and select the filt.edn file that you created earlier. This is the EDIF netlist file that you generated earlier.
2. I have no idea where can I get it and when during filter generation using Xilinx ISE it was generated too. How can I get it? I had to use your attached file filt.edn.
3. After that I have made the same schematics like you have in your VI FPGA and try to run. But I've got two error messages:
HDL Interfave node: enable chain not handled. Details: Refer to the documentation for the correct assignments for the enable_out output from your HDL code.
HDL Interfave node: output not handled. Details: Right-click the node, select Configure to open the Configure HDL Interface Node dialog box, and use the Code tab to handle all output parameters.
Actually I need to model FIR filter:
Bandwidth 200-600 Hz
Sampling 8 KHz
Attenuation 80 dB
That's why I tried to follow all these steps by myself to understand how does it work.
Thanks a lot.
Nikita

CS5 Master Suite: how do I redownload it after computer problems, from Adobe?
Hi. I bought CS5's Master Suite a few years ago. I picked the software version that didn't require CDs. My MacBook Pro I had it on and my iMac both had serious problems (fried logic board in the MacBook Pro). So it's been wiped off of the iMac, and t
