Error when JCO.Sever is called twice

hello guys,
i have implemented my on own JCO.Server. My own JCO.Server extends the class JCO.Server and is called by a function with a RFC destination from SAP.
When I call my JCO.Server twice with the same function parameters from SAP then my JCOServer does not work at all.
When I change the parameter content for my functions everything works fine only when I used the same parameter contents twice then my JCO Server does not show any reaction at all.
Any ideas?

I myself can only gess. I implemented my own JCO.Server as well and never encountered any problems, but this seems to be a kind caching problem. Could it be that JCO or the RFC-technics in SAP caches the result to improve performance? As the import parameters are not changed the result should be the same...

Based on a requirement, I got a URL based on WSDL, using which I created a Consumer Proxy in SAP.
I created a Logical Port in SOA Manager with type selected as 'WSDL'.
When I'm trying to execute the proxy class to call the webservice using the logical port through SE80 it is throwing an error log as stated below.
1) SOAP:14 Unexpected element -el=definitions ns=http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/
2)Error when processing Web service call
3)Error when calling SOAP Runtime functions: Unexpected element -el=definitions ns=http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/

Why do I get an invalid handle error when debugging, on a call to ncReset?

I am working with the example program obj2obj.c
I have a PCI-CAN/2 card installed.
I must call ncReset for *both* ports (CAN0 and CAN1), prior to any other commands or I will get a driver error (NC_ERR_DRIVER, Bxxx0002).
This happens even if the program terminates properly, closing all handles, and I then remove the ncReset commands.
Fine, I can live with the ncResets.
However, if I then try and debug the program using Microsoft Visual C++, it immediately chokes on the second call to ncReset( "CAN1", 0 ) and complains about an invalid handle.
If I add a status check to both of the ncResets and run the program from the DOS command line, I don't get any errors printed out
so the calls are working fine just running the program.
The driver updates listed do not appear to address this problem (1.4.1 uses LabView which I do not have and 1.4.2 is for Windows 2000)
Why are the ncResets required in the first place?
And why can't I single step through the second call to ncReset?

I had tried using only one ncReset previously and was experiencing driver errors. I removed the second ncReset as you suggested and now it seems to work with only one. I cannot get it to fail like it was doing.
However, at least one ncReset must be used or I get the following error:
ERROR ncConfig CAN1: Driver error (qual=000b000)
Press any key to continue
I get this error even when the program terminates normally. For example:
1) Build obj2obj with the ncReset command.
2) Execute and allow to terminate normally.
3) Edit obj2obj and remove ncReset command.
4) Execute and the error message is displayed.
Amazingly, I was also able to single step through most of the program this morning. I got the first three messages (of 10 total) before ge
tting the error:

It seems to be more random than first appeared and perhaps more related to MSVC than to the NI-CAN card. Any insight?
Also, having to include an ncReset is undesireable since I'd like to develop a CAN driver that could be called from multiple threads. I'd be very interested in your opinion on why I'm having trouble getting it to work without one.

When I'm trying to execute the proxy class to call the webservice using the logical port, it is asking me a prompt for Userid and Password, and when I press enter, it is throwing an error log as stated below.
SOAP:1,007 SRT: Unsupported xstream found: ("HTTP Code 401 : Unauthorized")
(Error when calling SOAP Runtime functions).
I think I configured the Logical port incorrectly. Is there any specific setting that I missed, I dont know.

Unsupported xstream found: ("HTTP Code 401 : Unauthorized")
Unsupported xstream means response received from service provider (host) is NOT in valid xml format (usually HTML). You will see this type of error when host or service you are trying to call return HTML (error pages etc).
HTTP Code 401 : Unauthorized : Clearly means that user/password for service provider is incorrect

Oracle Reports : Run time error when there is a call to DBMS_LOB package

I am facing a strange issue, please do share if you have some inputs. When I try running the compiled RDF report(Generating XML to be specific), Oracle Reports Builder crashes when I make use of the following formula function. Strangely, this works fine in the backend. Moreover I tried debugging and by trial and error method found out that, when there is a call to the DMBS_LOB package it errors (works fine when this is commented). Please do let me know whats the root cause of this issue. Thanks in advance

BFILES are accessible from the database, not the client (Reports). So, put your code in the database.

Please look in those 16 other stack traces for more details, there should be an actual SQLException if
it's a database problem, and/or the actual bean method that caused the problem.

Unmarshalling error when invoking a remote call in weblogic 9.1/jdk 1.5.

We are trying to upgrade the weblogic from 7.1 to 9.1. Occasional SOAP errors when making web service calls from C#

We have a C# application making web service calls to RFCs (non-NCO, SAP 4.7, WAS 6.40) and occasionally getting the following error:
The 'SOAP-ENV:Envelope' start tag on line '1' does not match the end tag of 'SOAP-ENV:Envel'. Line 1, position 34560.
This error happens randomly and can occur, not occur, and occur again for the exact same call (same data, same web service call). I anticipate that we might have a missing configuration on one of our application servers, but don't know where to tell BASIS to look. Any ideas or other help would be appreciated.

That's going to be difficult. The random nature of the error makes it impossible to reproduce (so far) in our Development and Test environments. Since the error is coming from the SAP side, I believe I would need a sniffer on each production application server in order to try to catch this and that would result in some very large log files. Is there any log file or other SAP transaction that might already be capturing these failures?

Getting 500 Error when calling XI from Siebel

We have generated a WSDL file from XI and gave it to Siebel team. They are getting a 500 Error when they try to call us using that WSDL file. Below is the error message they are getting.

Hi,
Are you sure your Sender SOAP adapter is configured properly. Also ensure that the SIEBEL team is using the right URL to communicate to the SOAP adapter.
First try using SOAP Client and see if the scenario is working fine. If so then the problem lies in SIEBEL.

I am logged in as olapsys user in Oracle OLAP worksheet and this packaged is owned by olapsys, so why cannot I call it. I had similar problems calling DBMS_AW package also.

After executing this packaged from SQL*PLUS, I get :

No Driver Error when including Traditional DAQ in CVI 9.0 Distribution Kit

I have some legacy code (CVI 6.0) that I wanted to upgrade recently. The biggest reason was the ability to add the device drivers to the distribution kit. When I installed the software on a new machine I got a No Driver Error when doing a CounterStart call . In the past that error meant that I had not included CVI support when I installed Traditional DAQ. Since it was installed as part of a distribution kit I can't see what elements were installed. I assume since it was included as part if a CVI distribution kit that CVI support is automatically. How can I get rid of the no driver error?

Why do I get an error when I try to configure a channel with the tktds7x4 driver?

I use the TDS754D scope. My complete function call is:
errStatus = tktds7x4_ConfigureChannel( ScopeHandle, "CH1", 5.0, 2.0, TKTDS7X4_VAL_DC, 1.0, VI_TRUE);
When I step through it, I see that I get an error on the driver line

I'm also getting an error with tktds7x4_ConfigureEdgeTriggerSource
I just downloaded and installed this driver, and it is the first time I have tried to use it. I'm running it in Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0, but it is a C program.

I hadn't done too much debugging when I wrote the question. All I knew was that I got a timeout error when I used that call. Over the weekend I tracked it down to a problem in the function tktds7x4_InvalidateTriggerAttributes, and specifically, the line

With those changes, the driver now works correctly for me. I have attached my updated driver source code. I am never happy to change a commercial driver, though. If someone were to re-download this driver and re-install it, all my changes would be lost, and the driver would no longer work.

- The original dataselection in the infopackage is somewhere stored
If the selection in the InfoPackage is reduced (e.g. only one document i.o. a period)
it stil starts loading according the original selection (the month)
- If we create a new InfoPackage and select very few data (only one datapackage)
then we can load to PSA succesfully, but when we load to DSO we can't activate the DSO.
- We remarked that:
Two versions of the PSA exist for that datasource 0FI_GL_40:
a Table(/BIC/B0000555000) in version 1 exists,
a Table(/BIC/B0000555001) in version 2 exists

We had a problem similar to what Ilse Depoortere describes. The problem happens in our BW QA system a few days/weeks after it has been copied from Production. Data loads start failing with these two error messages:
RSM2 851 - Error when writing in PSA (Caller 32)
RSAR 130 - Error 7 when adding to PSA (Caller 70)
We have just implemented the fix described in note 1340371 (replaced the LIB_DBSL with patch level 247), and the problem is gone. Failed data load process chains can be restarted and finish successfully.
