Error when uploading BW roles into the Portal

I am trying to upload one standard BW role with 3 BW web applications into the Portal using Portal's RoleUpload functionality. Teh BW role gets uploaded fine in the Portal, but the Portal fails to create the iViews for the Web Applications. The error I am getting is below:

I am also getting the same while uploading the BW 3.5 role to Portal 6.0, Role gets created but iviews throws the same error as you are getting.
Please help if you have found the solution for the problem.

Uploading BSP application into the portal

Hi friends,
Can anybody please tell me how to upload BSP application into the portal.i.e.,as how the Par file is getting uploaded into the portal.
I have created one BSP application.Iwant to run this application into the portal.

Dear Mr. esukapelli,
you do not need to upload the BSP application into the portal. The BSP application is an application which runs on the backend system, where it has been created.
What you need to do is to create a BSP iview in the portal in order to call it on the backend server. In this iview you tell which system it is running on, and the application name. Check out: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/30/1b62799d786445a72ad85acb4fd55b/content.htm for help on how to create it on EP6.0
Make sure you create a system for the backend system in the portal. If you want Single-Sign-on between the BSP application and the backend, you need to configure SSO as well.

Payroll locks when user is logged into the portal

When users are logged into the portal, and HCM runs payroll
they call and ask the user to log out, because payroll can't run and gets hung-up.
Seems very odd, anyone else hear of this?

Authorization error when running a report from the portal

Hello,
I am trying to run a certain report under a certain user in the portal.
If I run this report with this user from the BW it is working but if I run it from the portal with this user it doesn't. The error I receive in the portal is this:
ABEND: Program error in class SAPMSSY1 method : UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION
ABEND: Errors while reading InfoProvider data
ABEND: Error in BW:
ABEND: You do not have authorization for the data transfer process
Which other authorizations the user needs?

Error when upload appraisal offline forms on portal

We have use BAdI HRHAP00_OFFLINE to download and upload appraisal document on portal.
The error message occurs when upload appraisal document and we cannot debugging in the BAdI,
I think the error raise before BAdI processing.
Please see error message below.

Try taking a look at the OC4J_Portal logs at the time of the error, you could also try setting up the portal repository log to trace the error.

Hi,
You mean you want to execute the template even after this design time error. If yes then you can simply go to the backend and Transaction "SE38" then in the next screen type "RS_TEMPLATE_MAINTAIN_70" and then in the next screen type your template name ans then press "Execute" button to see temlate in Java Web.

Does any part of PSE (like the "splash" screen) pop up before this error? If so, describe it or give us a screen capture.

This problem has been driving me demented. The instructions that Ivan gives have partially worked for me. By following his link
"How to find out if you have multiple Apple IDs" I was able to identify that yes I did have two apple accounts using the same e mail address. One was very old that I used to use for the forum boards and one is my much more recent ID that I use for everything these days. So I changed the e mail address for the old account which is associated with these discussion boards and that's the account that I am now posting this from. However even though the two accounts now have different e mail addresses when I try to log onto the boards with my more recent main apple ID I still get all the same errors as described at the start of this thread by rodgers_j. And of course that's the one I want to use so that I only have one itunes account for everything.
So if anyone has any more hints I'd be very grateful.

Error when uploading a document to SharePoint

When uploading a file into a document library using the copy service CopyIntoItems method, I get a "There is an error in XML document (6, 3763)" (numbers variable) when the file has illegal characters in the comments of the file properties.
e.g., "ø;". Removing the comments from the file properties fixes the problem.
I don't need the comments to get uploaded, so how do I copy the file and ignore the comments?

I think you can't ignore file properties but you can clean them. Use FileInfo class to extract file properties then remove special char. You also need to make sure that there is no special char in file name as well.

I keep getting an error when uploading pages, keynote, or word documents into icloud.com. It won't tell me what type or error and it acts like it loads and gets all the way to the end of the bar and then says "error please try again." Please help!
